Jamey and Sid were having an argument that was getting on everyone's nerves. "No!" Jamey shouted. "Jamey, we need to talk about this!" Sid shouted. "No we don't!" Jamey shouted back. She knew this was gonna bite her in the ass. "What the heck are they arguing about this time?" Libby frustratedly asked. "Sid wants Jamey to open up about her new alter and what all happened with it and she doesn't want to?" Brett answered while rubbing his temples. "Why would they be arguing about that?" AJ asked. "Isn't it obvious." Libby commented. "For someone who claims to be the 5th smartest person on the planet, how could you possibly be this dimwitted?" Sid shouted. "I guess that blonde hair isn't just for show." Jamey retorted. "Should we do something?" AJ asked. "No, they'll tire themselves out eventually." Brett replied. Inside Jamey's mindspace the altars were also very annoyed by the argument. "Seriously, why don't they just get a room?" Oc asked. "I've never felt the urge to smash something as much as I do now." Hulk groaned. "When will this fucking end!" Mercy roared. "I must agree. They're arguing is quite annoying." Baby cried. "That didn't rhyme." Oc poked back. "Excuse me for staggering because of all their instant naggering." Baby said in her baby voice. "Naggering isn't a word." Oc replied back. Baby roared, threw her arms up in defeat and went straight into his room. "Wow, she was cranky." Oc joked back. "She's got the right idea, let's head into our rooms until this is all over." Hulk said. Mercy and Oc agreed and all the altars retreated into their rooms.
Back in the real world Timmy was training Elky with Carl and Sheen present. "God, they're loud. Carl, can you do something about that?" Timmy asked. Carl created a sound bubble that blocked all external sound from getting in. "Okay apprentice now that you're not grounded anymore let's get to work. I'm going to teach you how to talk to plants." Elky was a little disappointed she has been waiting for two months to do magic and this is it? "What, that's so lame. Can't I learn a more exciting spell?" Elky asked. "No. This is important. You'll see…" At that moment Timmy got a call. "Hello… Susan what do you mean she's destroying the blender… Okay, okay, I'll be right there." Timmy hung up. "What's wrong?" Carl asked. "Tootie got scared by the blender, she's kinda destroying the house." Timmy handed Elky his spell book. "Review the plantus comucatus spell. I'll be right back. Greater Teleportation." Timmy disappeared in a flash of light. "See that's the kind of spell I wanna learn not talking to flowers." Elky complained. Elky began to turn the pages of the spell book. "Huh Elky what are you doing?" Carl asked. "Looking for the teleportation spell." Carl was nervous. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Carl asked. "Don't be such a drag, Carl. I know what I'm doing… There it is!" she said excitedly as she found the spell. "Okay, here I go. Greater teleportation!" An energy beam shot out from the book. "Look out!" Sheen shouted but no one could hear him because of Carl's sound proof bubble.
The beam hit Jamey and Sid who were still consumed by their argument. They disappeared in a flash of light.
Everyone had shocked expressions on their faces and Elky collapsed from exhaustion. A little while later Timmy had returned and was incredibly pissed off. "So let me get this straight, you ignored my warnings and used a spell you clearly weren't ready for and sent our friends off to who knows where. Did I get that all right?" Elky sheepishly nodded. "Yes." Elky groaned. "Will she be okay?" Carl asked. "Yes, she's just exhausted. She'll be fine in a few hours." Timmy explained. "Where are Jamey and Sid?" Libby asked. "I don't know." Timmy said still annoyed. "What do you mean you don't know!?" Brett asked. "They could literally be anywhere. That's why you don't cast a teleportation spell without an intended target. Did you even read the warnings" Timmy explained. "What warnings?" Elky replied. "The ones on the next page." Timmy explained as he turned the page of the spell book and showed her the numerous warnings about how to properly use the spell. "They should really put those at the beginning of the spells." Elky commented. "Is there anything we can do?" Sheen asked. "Look for them and hope my stupid apprentice didn't teleport them into the center of the earth." Elky felt like that comment was well earned.
Unknown Island
Jamey and Sid appeared on a beach. "Where are we?" Sid asked. "No idea." Jamey replied. She pulled out her phone and discovered she had no service. "Wherever we are. We have no service." Jamey told him. "I'll check the com's." Sid said. He tried to call everyone but nothing went through. "I can't get a signal through." Jamey bunched her eyebrows together. "That's weird. This island must have some weird electro magnetic frequency." Jamey theorized. "Anyway, let's get out of here." Jamey said not wanting to spend anymore time on this island. "Right." Sid agreed. "Alright Oc let's go. Hello Oc. Oc!" Jamey called for Oc but no one answered. "That's weird." Jamey's voice worried Sid. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Oc's not answering. I can't even feel her presence." Jamey said, feeling perplexed. "I guess I could give you a ride." Sid suggested. "I guess there's nothing we can do if no one's answering." Jamey begrudgingly agreed. Sid picked Jamey up bridal style and began to struggle to hold her up. "Is something wrong?" Jamey asked, noticing the strained look on Sid's face. "No it's nothing." Sid replied. He leaped into the ground but the duo crashed into the sandy beach. "What the hell Vortex!" Jamey shouted as she lifted her head out of the sand. "Sorry, I'm just feeling a little off." Sid replied before noticing that he was right on top of Jamey. He then quickly stood up and jumped into the air but came back down. "Something's wrong, I can't fly." Sid said. "Let me check something." Jamey said as she walked up to Sid and pinched him. "Ow, what the hell!" Sid yelled before punching Jamey's arm. "Just like I thought. Something on this island is blocking our powers. And Ow by the way." Jamey groaned while rubbing her arm. "You deserved it." Sid replied.
"Anyway, we really need to figure out our situation. We need to find a source of water." Jamey suggested. "No, it would be better for us to find some shelter." Sid replied. "We don't know how long we're going to be here, finding water is the most important thing." Jamey argued back. "No, we need to find shelter because we don't know how long we're going to be here and I don't know about you but freezing to death isn't on my itinerary!" Sid said back at her. "Well dying of dehydration wasn't mine!" Jamey bit back. "You're so annoying, you think you're right about everything!" Sid cried out. "Well I am one of the smartest people on earth. I think I know what I'm talking about!" Jamey retorted. "You know what fine! You go find water, I'll go find shelter." Sid yelled as he walked away from Jamey. "Wait, splitting up is a bad idea." Jamey said a little nervous. "Don't care, you do your thing, I'll do mine." Sid said. "Agh, you're so annoying. Let's at least settle with a little competition." Sid stopped himself. "I'm listening." Jamey just smiled at him. "Arm wrestling." Sid looked at her, cocking an eyebrow up. "What?"
"If you win we do what you want to do. If I win we do what I want to do. Deal." Jamey said. "Okay Neutron, I'll play." Sid agreed. "There's a rock over there we'll use that as a stand." Jamey and Sid went to the rock and got into possession. "Are you sure about this Neutron, you're not really the competing type." Sid said. "Anything to make you see reason." Jamey replied. "Alright, we'll go on three. One, two, three." Just as the competition started Sid blew a raspberry at Jamey's face distracting her long enough to take the win. "I win." Sid said with much glee in his face. "You cheated." Jamey complained as she wiped the spit off her face with her shirt. "No such thing as cheating in a game of survival, Neutron." Jamey just rolled her eyes. "Fine a deal's a deal, but I'm still not sure about going into the jungle. We'd be helpless if we ran into any predators." Sid nodded back. "Yeah but staying here wouldn't do us any better." Sid pointed out. "Fine, but let's still try to be extra careful." Sid nodded his head and the duo went into the jungle. Jamey and Sid spent ours walking through the jungle. "Are we ever going to find shelter?" Jamey groaned. "We need to keep moving." Sid said as he grabbed Jamey's hand to keep them moving. "Sorry but some of us don't work out four hours a day." Jamey panted. "Fine I guess we could rest but keep an eye out for anything bad."
Jamey and Sid found a tree they could lay on and began to rest. Time passed and neither one said anything to each other. Their thoughts were all muddled up and they just didn't know what to say to each other but after about 20 minutes of pure silence Jamey let out a little chuckle. "What's so funny?" Sid asked. "No it's nothing just thinking about stuff." Jamey replied. "Like what?" Sid asked. "I think this is the first time we've been alone together in a while. Like remember back in Kindergarten?" Jamey asked. "Well, you're the one who's always busy." Sid said bitterly. "It's not like that." Jamey said a little upset but she didn't know why? "Isn't it. You don't need to work nearly as hard as you do. AJ and Brett are more than capable of handling things once in a while." Sid argued back, but this time Jamey did fight back. "Maybe you're right. It's just that I've been under a lot of stress. I don't know when Savage will make his next move, and then the rise in mutant attacks and the army's been all over my ass with Chester's development and then there's my alters…" Sid just placed a hand on Jamey's shoulder drawing her attention to him. "I think I get the picture you're a busy girl."
"Yeah. How have you been doing?"Jamey asked. "What do you mean?" Sid asked. "I haven't really gotten the chance to talk to you about it but how have you been handling everything? The last two years haven't been exactly easy for you. You became a mutant, found out your Dad was an immortal psychopath, found out you had who knows how many brothers and sisters and had still had to deal with school. How did you do it." Sid smiled. "Well it's not exactly like things have been easy for you either Neutron. Your career collapsed and all this superhero stuff has been put on your shoulders not to mention you have DID. Sometimes I wonder why you haven't just given up." Sid was truly in awe of the girl next to him who has faced some hellish things time and time agin that would make grown men crumble but yet she still marches forward like nothing happened. "Well it's silly but when I was a kid my Uncle James…" Sid interrupted her for a moment. "I didn't know you had an uncle." Jamey just shook her head. "Not by blood. But when my parents were out he would take care of me. When I was younger I used to get so frustrated when one of my inventions or experiments failed but he was always there to keep my head up. He used to say Jamey it doesn't matter how smart you are if you give up when things don't go your way. So I learned to not let things get to me. At least not everything." Jamey said with a giggle as she thought back on the memory. "Wow I didn't know that about you." Sid said. "Well you never asked." She said. "Well we're stuck here for who knows how long. Let's take the time to get to know you a little better." Sid suggested. "Why not. You first." Jamey smiled.
Six Weeks Later
Weeks passed and Jamey and Sid had made a life on the island. They were living on fruit and the occasional wild boar that would make its way towards the pair. Thanks to Jamey's scientific expertise she managed to concoct a medicine from various herbs to create a powerful odor that kept the predators away from their camp. Jamey and Sid had managed to build their camp next to a freshwater pond. Sid, having lost his shirt and shoes and gained a much more muscular build from all the manual labor he was doing, he was building a fire. Jamey, now wearing a now more torn up version of her clothes, now very tanned and gained some muscle as well stepped into the camp with several fish. "Hope you like fish." Jamey said. "Not really but I don't really have a choice." Sid said with a smile. Jamey and Sid were talking and laughing with each other while eating their dinner. "I swear that monkey wanted me to be his girlfriend." Jamey groaned as she bit her fish. "Well you can't say it doesn't have good taste." Sid laughed. The laughter died down as Jamey and Sid began to reflect about everything. "Do you think we'll ever get off this island?" Sid asked. "Who knows, but if I had to spend the rest of my life on a deserted island, there is no one else I'd rather be doing it with." Sid just looked at the now blushing girl. "Really." Sid said in disbelief. "Yeah. Despite being way out of my comfort zone, spending all this time with you has been unbelievably fun." Jamey said with the biggest smile Sid had ever had the pleasure of seeing on her. "I agree. Without all the work, you're a pretty great girl." Jamey and Sid began to blush and silence befall between them. "Nice night isn't it." Jamey smiled while looking up at the stars. "Yeah, you don't normally see them in Retroville." Sid agreed.
Without knowing Sid and Jamey's hands touched, they both flinched and quickly moved away from each other. They then locked eyes. Sid thought back to everything he has been through with Jamey and how he truly has fallen in love with this girl. Both their hearts began beating faster and faster, unable to hold back any more Sid was the first to lean in, Jamey soon followed. The moment their lips connected Jamey and Sid began to share a very passionate kiss. Sid felt like he was dreaming because he was finally kissing Jamey Ismay Neutron. Her lips were chapped like his were but still unbleiveably soft. He got brave and with his tongue he licked her lips to see if she would let him gain entrance into her mouth. When she did, his tongue explored everyinch of it. Her mouth tasted like the fish they had just eaten but he didn't care. He slowly led Jamey down on her back in the grass as his left hand was tangled in her hair playing with it and the other was on her cheek rubbing iti with his callus thumb.
Sid had let out a moan which caused Jamey to smile into the kiss. Sid had moaned because Jamey had moved her hands up his shirtless torso and wrapped them around his neck and was now playing with her hair. Sid was fully ontop of Jamey now just heavily kissing her for who knows how long and neither one seemed to care. Sid moved from her mouth and began to nip at her jawline and when he reached the pulse on her neck he began to suck it. Jamey felt as though she could barely breath then on instinct she wrapped her legs around Sid's hips and began to slowly grin making Sid let out a breathy hot sign on Jamey's skin. It was at that moment that Sid carefully lifted Jamey's shirt off of her revealing her bra. Jamey began to feel self conscious and tried to conver herself up, but Sid would not let her. To him she looked like a goddess and he would spend the rest of his life letting her know that.
He went to massaged each mound while placing kisses on every inch of skin. He then undid the clasp clumsily and removed the bra. He pinched and squeezed her nipples making her make the most wonderful sounds Sid has ever heard. Jamey began to remove his shorts and her pants as well. He began to suck on her nipples and it was then that Jamey finally had enough.
She pushed him off of her. For a moment Sid thought that he had taken it too far. But those thoughts of doubt were quickly squashed when Jamey straddle him and began to grin on his underwear that was poorly hiding his erection. Sid placed his hands on her waist and just helped keep her steady. It did not take long before they both felt as though their climaxs were coming. Jamey just got faster and faster. Sid continued to kiss Jamey back on the mouth both fully exploring each other. The two got handsy with one another and Sid knew with a few more grinds he was not going to last any longer and he was right. Jamey did three more hard grinds and let out a giant gasp so strong and powerful that Sid had to hold her to keep her from falling and that was a big feet because he was in the mits of having his own orgasm as well. They both just held each other tight as they rode through their organisms, both of their underwear soaked with cum and both bodies glistening with sweat. Sid ungracefully grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around the two and they both just fell asleep under the stars. This was not lust. This was love, but both had agreed to not have sex till they both felt ready. In the meantime there was still a lot they both could do with one another.

AJ and Timmy were working hard on something. AJ was connected to a box in a trance like state while Timmy was pouring magic into the same box. "Cyborg disengaged, you're overheating!" Brett shouted. Cyborg didn't listen and the white armor on his body began to turn red and Timmy's body began to wither. "Timmy stop! You're using too much mana!" Tootie shouted. Neither were stopping so the two females took matters into their own hands. Tootie rushed at Timmy and karate chopped the back of his head knocking him out and Brett aborted the sequence AJ was processing which caused him to collapse. "Water!" Brett yelled. Sheen raced in and doused AJ in water to cool his body down. "You two need to stop pushing yourselves so hard." Brett yelled. "Timmy, you could've died." Tootie agreed. "We need to keep going." Timmy groaned as he struggled to get up. "Yeah." AJ agreed as he struggled to get up. "It would be different if they'd told us they were okay, but Jamey and Sid haven't even made contact. Not to mention Sid has super speed and can fly. If he were somewhere safe he would've been back by now." Timmy complained. "We need to at least know if they're dead or alive. Foreclosures sake we need to know."
Brett and Tootie gave the boys very worried looks but begrudgingly agreed to their demands. "You two are really stubborn. Fine AJ you ease the tension on your circuits if you reroute through the supercomputer." Brett suggested. "Timmy take life force from me. I'm an Amazon, we can basically live forever." Tootie suggested. "Thanks you two." Timmy smiled. "Yeah, where would we be without you." AJ agreed. "Dead, but enough about that. Let's get to work."
A Week Later
Sheen decided to go hang out with one of his friends Carlos because it did him no good pacing around worrying about Jamey and Sid. "Good game." Sheen said while he wiped some sweat off of himself. "Yeah for you. You kicked my ass." Carlos replied as he tried to catch his breath. "You wanna go another round?" Sheen asked. "Naw, I'm going home. I've got to study. Finals are coming up soon." Carlos explained. "I got you. See ya later." Sheen replied. Sheen and Carlos gave each other the bros handshake and left each other. While Carlos was walking home a group and men jumped out from the shadows and grabbed him throwing him into a van.
Sheen's House
Sheen was enjoying breakfast with his family. "Nate called this morning." Roberto said. "Really what did he say?" Sheen asked. "He said he's been working hard with his new friends and he's made sure to keep up with his studies." Roberto explained. "Well at least he's happy." Sheen said. At that moment Roberto got a call. "Hello… Hey Leon… Yeah Sheen's here." Sheen heard his dad say. "What does Mr Gonzalez want with me?" Sheen asked. "He wants to know if Carlos is here." Roberto explained. "No, I haven't seen him." Sheen replied. "I'm sorry Leon, Sheen hasn't seen him… Okay, I'll call you if I hear something." Roberto said before ending the call. "Is everything okay?" Sheen asked. "Carlos didn't come home last night." Roberto replied. "Maybe he's at Shelley's house. I'll talk to her after training." Sheen said.
Retroville High
Sheen was with his other friends Tim and Markus and Carlos's girlfriend Shelley. "So neither of you have seen Carlos." Sheen said. "No, I tried texting him last night and he didn't reply." Tim replied. "Not even you Shell?" Sheen asked. "We were supposed to meet at the library to study last night." Shelley answered. "Maybe he's just messing around somewhere. Remember last summer when he went to Acapulco and didn't tell any of us." Mark said. "He told me. I was just too busy to stop him. As reckless as Carlos is, he's not dumb enough to go somewhere and not tell anyone where he's going." Sheen said. Everyone looked at Sheen with worried faces. "I'll check something out after school, and call you guys once I've found something." Sheen told them. "Okay, but we'll be looking too." Mark agreed. "Okay, if anyone finds anything make sure to call and don't go anywhere dangerous." Sheen said. Everyone agreed and split off.

Later that day Sheen met with AJ who was on a forced break from Brett. "So can you use the grid to find Carlos?" Sheen asked. "Sure, just give me a minute." AJ replied. As he used grid and searched through the entire city to see what happened in the last 24 hours. "I found something." AJ pulled out a hologram and showed Sheen the video of Carlos being thrown into a van. "Who are those guys!?" Sheen asked. "No license plates but I think I can tell you where it was last." AJ said. After a few seconds AJ got the location. "The van was abandoned by the harbor, Carlos was taken onto some boat but the guys who took him are at the Four Seasons Hotel, 8th floor room 7." Sheen thanks AJ. "Thanks, I'll be right back." Sheen said. "Need any help?" AJ asked. "No, but I'll be sure to call if something comes up." Sheen replied. Sheen turned the dial on his watch and changed into the Flash. "Be back in a you know what." Sheen said as he raced off.
Sheen raced through the city looking for the hotel. "Where is it, where is it? Dammit, I really need to install a map into this thing." Sheen groaned. After running around in circles for a few seconds Sheen finally found the hotel. "Why was this place so hard to find? It's not like I haven't been here before." he said to himself. Sheen then looked at the building. "Alright Estevez, time to get serious." Sheen raced into the building and entered the kidnappers room. The four men who kidnapped Carlos were passed out drunk with several prostitutes lying around. In a second Sheen raced in, tyed everyone and placed them against the wall. Sheen splashed a bucket of water on them. "Wake up!" He shouted. "WHAT… What the hell!" One of them shouted. The other looked up and saw Sheen. "Oh shit! It's the Flash!" One of the men tried to defuse the situation. "Look man we didn't do nothin…" But Sheen would not listen to the wimpy excuse they tried to spew. "Shut up!" Sheen shouted. "Last night you kidnapped a boy. Where did you take him!?" Sheen asked forcefully. "Look, we don't know what you're…" The kidnapper was suddenly silenced by Sheen striking the wall so hard it cracked. "I'm not fucking around. Where did you take that kid!" Sheen asked again. "Okay, okay, I'll talk. We were hired by some group calling themselves Prometheus. They pay us to grab people and take them to the docks. That's it, that's all I know." Sheen was getting angrier. "When are you expecting to deliver again?" Sheen asked. "It's completely random. It could be tomorrow or a month from now. That's all we know, I swear." Sheen asked through his teeth. "How do you contact them?" Sheen gave them a death glare. "We don't. They contact… Ahhh! AHHHH!" At that moment all three men began to scream in pain, their hands began to expand and in seconds their heads exploded splattering their brains all over the room. The girls began to scream in terror while Sheen with a look of discomfort and frustration on his face wiped the blood off his face. "Call the police." Sheen said to the prostitutes as he raced out of the room.

Sheen made it back to the base and was watching AJ work on locating Carlos. "Did you find anything?" Sheen asked. "Sorry I didn't find anything." AJ replied disappointed in himself. Sheen rubbed his temples in frustration. "So we currently have no leads." Sheen was frustrated. For weeks he felt to usualess not being able to help find Jamey and Sid and now he can't even find his friend Carlos. "Sorry I wasn't a bigger help." AJ said, feeling Sheen's anger. "No, you did great. Whoever this Prometheus group is, they're incredibly careful. We may be dealing with something really big." Sheen said, slightly calming down. "They'll slip up eventually. Don't worry I'll find them. I am the third smartest person on the planet." AJ said, trying to reassure Sheen. "Thanks. What am I going to tell everyone?"Sheen asked, placing his head in his hands. "Nothing. At least nothing for now. Telling them he was kidnapped would only worry them more." AJ explained. "Fine, I'll hold off for now." Sheen agreed. "But if we don't find anything they have to know."Sheen said. "Agreed." AJ replied.
Unknown Location
Carlos was dragged into the room along with a few teenagers and some adults. "Help! HELP!" Carlos screamed. A doctor walked in with a syringe with a green liquid inside. "What is that!? What are you going to do to me." Without a word he injected Carlos. Carlos screamed in pain as his body began to mutate. His head turned into that of a lion, his torso became more like a gorilla, he gained polar bear arms, goat legs, he gained a snake tail and a pair of giant bat wings. Carlos began to roar and screech like a feral animal. He almost tore through his restraints, the doctor pulled out a collar and put it around Carlos's neck instantly calming him down. Everywhere else in the room the other kidnapped victims lay dead on the ground. "Only one successful one." The doctor told one of his colleagues. "We better tell the boss." The doctor made it to a room where he met with Shawn Collins AKA Inferno and Ian Wong AKA Hypno. "Sir, only one of the last batch mutated." The doctor said. "Did the collar work?" Shawn asked. "Yes." Shawn smiled. "Good work. You can go." Shawn replied. The doctor nodded and left the room. "We're doing great work here." Shawn commented. "Yeah, my mutant making formula may not be as good as Neutron's but it gets the job done." Shawn had a plan that would make him unstoppable. "When we're done making our army not even the likes of Brick and Savage could stop us." Shawn smiled.
Two Weeks Later
More time passed and Jamey and Sid had grown closer and closer. They bonded to the point that neither one of them were even thinking about leaving the island anymore. Jamey and Sid were walking through the jungle carrying fruit they had gathered with baskets they had weaved together. Sid noticed Jamey began to fall behind. "You're falling behind." Sid said. "Just enjoying the view." Jamey chuckled. "Stop that." Sid blushed. "What, genius or not, I'm still a girl." Jamey laughed. Just then Sid felt something in the air. "Stop." Sid said very seriously. "Okay." Jamey agreed jokingly. "No seriously stop." Sid said in a serious tone. "What's wrong?" Jamey asked, getting very concerned with the tone of Sid's voice. "Something's watching us."An ominous silence fell through the jungle, Sid was looking around for what was watching the teens. Without warning a leopard leaped out of the shadows and narrowly missed the teens. Jamey quickly reacted and threw a pouch filled with a substance made from various herbs and flowers at the leopard's face and messed with the leopard's vision and smell. "Run!" Jamey shouted.
Sid dropped the fruit he was carrying and the both of them ran away at top speed. "We need to make it back to camp!' Jamey yelled running behind Sid. The leopard managed to wipe some of the substance off and began to chase them. It didn't take any time for the beast to catch up to the teens. Quickly noticing it Sid picked up a block of wood and managed to get two good hits on the leopard's face, the leopard furiously smacked Sid back with the back of it's paw. It pounced at him but Jamey tackled it before it could reach him. The leopard turned its attention on Jamey and began to claw up her face and bit into her shoulder. "Jamey!" Sid shrieked. Something came over Sid. He felt a strange power come over him. His body began to glow a goldish yellow color without even thinking about it Sid charged at the Leopard, smacked it off of Jamey and killed it in one blow.
Sid then felt all the power drain from his body and he collapsed barely able to move. "Jamey." He just barely managed to say. "I-I'm he-he-hear Sid." Jamey managed to answer as She was beginning to lose all sensation from her body. "I'm sorry I couldn't do more." Sid groaned desperately trying not to pass out. "D-D-Don't say tha-tha-that. You did the best that you cou-could do. I love." Jamey tried to say but the blood loss was too much for her. Sid began to tear up desperately trying to keep consciousness but every second he could feel he was about to black out. As Sid slipped into the darkness he heard a loud banging sound as if an explosion went off he then heard voices. "Thank god we found them." Sid tried to see who was talking but blacked out. "Oh my god! Jamey, Sid!" Someone said. "Quick! Get them through the portal!" That was the last thing Sid heard.
The Next Day
Sid woke up surrounded by his friends. "Where am I?" Sid groaned. "Hey there sleepy head." Jamey greeted him, still feeling a bit groggy. Sid sprung up from his bed and hugged Jamey who smiled and hugged him back with her good arm. "What happened?" He asked. "The team saved us. Timmy and AJ whipped a piece of tech they call a Mother Box. They saved us." Sid looked at the now massive scar that trailed down from Jamey's face and down to her shoulder. "But the leopard it…" Jamey interrupted. "That island messed with our powers. The second we came back here I healed up, but with us not being in contact with our powers for so long the healing is much slower and it will definatly leave a scar." Jamey smiled and looked Sid in the eyes. "I'll be ok." Sid felt much better after hearing that. "Good. I'm glad you're okay." Sid's hand went to Jamey's cheek. "I'm glad you're okay too." Jamey held Sid's hand which surprised everyone in the room. "And maybe you were right I should talk about what's all going on inside my head." Sid smiled. "Told ya." He said as he watched Jamey fall back asleep on her bed. "Get some rest, we'll talk later." Sid replied as he kissed her cheek. "WHAT!" Sid just quickly shushed everyone not wanting to wake Jamey back up. Almost everyone was shocked by what happened, everyone but Libby and Timmy. "Pay up, all of you." Libby said triumphantly. Everyone but Timmy and Tootie pulled out five dollars and gave it to Libby. "You guys took bets on this." Sid commented. "It was to ease the tension. Plus you two, stuck together, alone. One of you was bound to make a move." Sid smiled and walked out of the med bay. Sheen and Carl soon caught up with him. "Congratulations bro!" Sheen screamed while patting Sid on the back. "Yeah, we need to celebrate at the Candy Bar. You must have missed big city food." Carl agreed. "Sure thing. Start without me. But order everything on the menu. I am really hungry. I just need to talk about some stuff with AJ and Timmy." Sid wanted to get some information that Jamey would want to knowonce she woke up. "Great, we'll meet you there." Sheen agreed. Sid walked towards AJ and Timmy. "So tell me a little more about this Mother Box."
"You see we reprogrammed the Grid with a magical algorithm to create a device powered by a substance Timmy calls zectoranium that's capable of tracking anybody anywhere. It's like Grid on steroids." AJ explains. Truth be told he was hurt by the fact Jamey and SId were finally together but he just wanted her to be happy and he knew that he just needed to move on and that's what he had to do. "And with added measure it creates portals, I like to call them Boom Tubes." Timmy added. "Great, what else can it do?" Sid asked. "Well anything Grid could do, plus life energy tracking and technology possession. " Sid was really impressed by all of this. "Wow, you guys must've worked crazy hard on this." Timmy and AJ both nodded. "We worked nonstop for two months straight." Timmy groaned. "Yeah I blew through six processors." AJ added. "Thanks a lot guys. I knew you two would be able to pull off techno-sorcery." Sid said. "Techno-sorcery?" AJ replied. "Yeah, it's what we'll call this new tech." Sid suggested. "It's as good a name as any." AJ replied. "Yeah." Timmy agreed. "Well if that's all you wanted to know." Timmy said getting ready to go off to bed and finally sleep. "Wait there was something else." Sid said. "What?" Timmy asked. "When Jamey and I were on the island, our powers were completely shut down but when that leopard was mauling her I killed it with one hit. Do you guys have any theories?" Timmy just looked worried at his brother. "So I guess you awakened." Timmy commented.v"Awakened?" Sid replied. "I don't know if I should be telling you this but there's something special about you, something more special than your mutant powers, I learned about it when I shared memories with Susan, I don't think she knows but I saw something strange."
"What?" Sid asked worried over his mom. "Susan isn't from here. When I looked through her memories I saw a land I didn't recognize, a civilization that's not from any history book I read in my past or your present. Susan is what you guys would call an alien." Timmy said. "An alien!" AJ said shocked. "You can't be serious." Sid said. He couldn't believe this first dad is an immortal psycho, his brother is a wizard, and now his mom is an alien. No that is just too much. "Yeah, I am. Something else you should know is she's extremely hostile and dangerous. I've played it off, I didn't want her to know I knew what and who she was, but she has plans and trust me they aren't good for any of us." Sid felt betrayed. "Why didn't you tell me this before?" Sid asked. "I barely knew you. I was as they say playing my cards close to my chest. I didn't know if I could trust you."
Sid thought about it and understood but this was his mother he had the right to know that the one parent he had left to trust was lying to him. "Okay, I understand. What does that mean for me?" Sid asked. "Honestly I don't know." Timmy said. "Part of the reason why I didn't tell you was that I didn't know if you'd side with Susan. We'll have to eliminate her." Sid got angry that is still his mom. "Relax I don't want to hurt her either, but we're dealing with a lot right now, Savage is still out there and now we have Susan to worry about in the back of our minds. We can't let emotions cloud your judgment. If Susan betrays us, we'll have to act accordingly." Timmy said. "She won't betray us." Sid said not completely believing himself and he knew that if he did ever lose his mind and side with her over something evil he would hope with everything he had that his brother would talk both him and his mom out. "I hope you're right." Timmy replied before he walked away. "I hope you'll keep this a secret?" Sid asked not wanting to worry Jamey anymore than she already was. "Yeah I will." AJ agreed. "Thanks. Wanna join us at the Candy Bar?" AJ waved his hand no. "I'm good I need to recharge my armor anyway, but it would be cool if you brought me back a slice of carrot cake." Sid then asked a rando question that he has been wondering about for a while. "You know I've been wondering if you don't have a stomach where do you even put it all?" Sid asked. "You really don't want to know." AJ laughed. Sid made a face before heading out.
Sid's House
Susan was finishing a call from Libby. "Thanks for telling me Libby… No, I'll let Sid rest for the night, I'll see him tomorrow… Okay goodbye." Susan hung up her phone. "Is your son okay?" Brick asked. "Yeah he's fine." Susan replied. "Glad we can get your head back in the game." Susan let out a breath she'd been holding since Sid disappeared. "Yeah, how's Savage's progress going?" Brick walked up closer to her. "Since he allied himself with the witch girl he's been keeping secrets from me. I don't know what he's planning at the moment." Brick growled. "Understood. You have to get him back under control. He's the biggest risk to our plan." Susan demanded. "I wouldn't have to get him back under control if you did a better job keeping an eye on him." Susan scowled at him. "Don't get too familiar. Remember your place Brick." Susan said threatingly. "I remember mine. The question is do you remember yours, commander." Brick said back cooly. "This meeting is over, leave." Without saying a word, Brick disappeared. Susan went and picked up a picture of a seven year old Sid riding his bike. "Soon Sid, we'll crush this world together."

Jack McAlister, the organizer of a big event, was on the phone in an argument with the manager of a famous singer. "What do you mean Michael Jefferson can't make it! He's the freaking opening act!" He said panickly. "I'm sorry Jack, Michael wants to take a break from performing." He could not believe what he was hearing. "You can't do this to me at the last minute, the concert is in three days, there's no way I could find another act in time. What about our contract!" He shouted back. "I'm sorry Michael said he's willing to go to court, he's not coming." Jack had heard enough. "Thanks for nothing, you'll be hearing from my lawyers." Jack angrily hung up the call. "FUCK!" He swore, throwing his phone into the ground. "What the hell am I going to do now, there's no way I can afford to pay any of the other bands overtime. What am I going to do?" he groaned as he collapsed onto his chair. At that moment Jack's daughter entered his office playing a song on her phone. "Hey Dad, have you seen Temptation anywhere? I wanted to ask her if she could wash my skirt. I wanted to wear it at the concert." She asked her father. "Not now sweetie, Daddy's exhausted." She looked at him worried. "Oh sorry for bothering you." Jack then noticed the music his daughter was listening to and couldn't help but enjoy it. "That sounds pretty good, What's that you're listening to?" He asked. "Just this new band. Sonic Boom." She answered. "Sonic Boom, never heard of them." He said curiously. "Their really new videos are blowing up all over MeTube; their last song Food Fight got over a million views." Jack slumped back in his chair. "Really, I wish I could hire them for the event but it would take too long to contact them and get them ready in time." He said disappointed. "Not really." The teen said, looking at her phone. "What do you mean?" Jack asked curiously. "Well, you see they actually live right here in Retroville." Jack's eyes sparked with hope. "Do you know where they live!" She looked at him for a moment before responding. "Not where they live exactly but I do know that they all go to school at Retroville High." Jack hugged his daughter and handed her his credit card. "Thanks sweety, you might have just saved me, buy yourself something nice for the festival, on me." She was really surprised by this. "Really, thanks, Dad." She said excitedly.
Retroville High
Carl, Libby, and Sid were in history class. Jamey and Sid had been filled in on everything that had gone on since they'd been gone. The teacher was out and the substitute allowed them to quietly read but the students were just doing their own thing. "So how have you been handling everything?" Libby asked. "While I'm all caught up with school." Libby just gave him a look. "Not what I'm talking about. You and Jamey are now a thing. What's it like? Is she a good kisser, have either of you done the nasty?" Carl did not want to hear his sister being talked about in such a way. "One question at a time. Weird but fun, yes she's a surprisingly good kisser don't tell anyone this but she's a way better kisser than Nick and Kinda." Carl had to step in. "Please don't talk about your sex life with my sister infront of me please." Sid just blushed, almost forgetting Carl was Jamey's brother. "Kinda?" Libby asked, just ignoring Carl. "Look even before Carl even said something I'm not gonna talk about something private like that ok, but I will say no we haven't done it yet but we only plan to when we are good and ready and not before then and we aren;t exactly going to tell anyone if we do. Ok." Libby was a little disappointed in this news but Carl was very relieved. "Fine. I'll just have to ask Jamey after school." Libby said. "Shut up. Please don't." Sid said while blushing.
At that moment the school's secretary made an announcement. "Carlton Wheezer, Liberty Folfax, Michelle Storm, and George Philips please come to the principal's office." They were all very confused. "What did you do?" Sid asked. "Nothing." Libby replied she then turned from seat to look at Carl who shrugged his shoulders. The bandmates made it to the principal's office where they were met by the school's principal Principal Willoughby and Jack McAlister. "Thank you both for coming." The Principal said. "Are we in trouble?" Carl asked. "Nothing like that. We know this is unconventional but this is…" The Principal stated. "Jack McAllister, music performer, producer and event organizer!" Libby screeched like a schoolgirl. "The very same." Jack smiled. "What do you need from us sir!?" George asked excitedly. "Well, I know this is short notice but how would you four like to perform at the McAlister music festival this weekend." Every single one of the band member's jaws dropped. "Are you serious!?" Carl was shocked by what he heard. George couldn't even expel a word he just mumbled like a fool. Michelle's eyes glowed with wonder as she let out a big smile. Libby felt light headed and sat down on a chair. "One of my performers cancelled at the last minute and I couldn't find a replacement in time and I heard your music online so I figured you guys could replace him." The band couldn't even respond. "I'm not too excited asking amateurs to perform at a big event like this but from what I've heard you guys might just cut it. I won't be paying you but the exposure you'll get will more than make up for it. So what do you say." The man asked, waiting for a response. "Well guys." Carl said looking at his bandmates. "What do you say?" Libby had the biggest smile. "I'm in." Libby agreed. "Definitely." Michelle agreed. "Only an idiot would refuse." George agreed. "We're in. Mr McAlister." Carl spoke for the band. "Great, have your parents sign these forms and send them to me by tonight." He said befre walking out of the room. "Okay." The teens said in unison.
Libby's House
Later that evening Libby was trying to convince her parents to let her perform. "Mom, Dad please, you've got to let me perform. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity." Libby begged. "I don't know Libby, this sounds way too good to be true." Victor commented. "Yeah. I don't know if you can trust this Jack McAlister." Francine agreed. "He's one of the top promoters and producers in the industry. He's handled all the big names Queen Bee, Sasha, Big Nok Kres, please you have to let me do this. This is my dream." Libby pleaded. "We know Honey, but this is a big deal." Francine said. "You have a lot on your plate with school and your other extra curricular activities. What if you have to give up something to make this happen?" Victor asked. "It's just a concert. Maybe it will lead to something bigger and maybe I'll have to think about my future after but I can't just not do it. It might be my only chance, so please let me do this." Francine and Victor looked at each other and smiled. "Fine, we'll sign." Libby ran up to her parents and hugged them, "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best parents ever!" Libby repeated. "We know." Francine replied. Libby immediately texted her bandmates.
Libby: Did you guys get the OK
Carl: Yes!
George: Yup.
Michelle: Ya.
Libby: Great, I'll call McAllister and organize a meeting.
Jack McAlister's Office
Jack was working on his laptop when he got a call from his assistant. "Mr McAllister, the kids from Sonic Boom are here to meet you." His assistant said. "Thank you. Please let them in." The band entered the office with their parents. After taking their forms and going through the legal stuff Jack began the meeting. "Now that we've gone through all of that let's talk about what you kids will be doing. We have 10 bands and performers playing, each will get about 20 minute sets each. Sonic Boom is going to take Michael Jefferson's spot right after Royal Flush." Carl just couldn't believe it. "We're really going to be playing with big names like them?" Carl said in disbelief. "Yeah you will." Jack replied. "That being said as discussed before, you won't be being paid but we are willing to offer you kids new equipment, an expense account to buy new clothes and two backstage passes each not including your guardians of course. Not to mention you stand to gain a lot from the exposure, there'll be many big names there just oozing at the chance to sign new talent, heck if you impress me enough I might sign you." The band's eyes lit up like Christmas trees. "So guardians are we in agreement." The band turned to their parents who looked at each other and nodded. Jack smiled. "Alright, be on the stage at eight for rehearsal, but other than that good luck kids." Outside of Jack's office the group began to discuss their plans. "So I guess we should get our new gear and clothes." Michelle suggested. "I think we should talk about which songs we're going to do." George said. "Yeah, it doesn't matter how good we look if we don't know what we're singing." Carl agreed. "Don't worry kids, I'll handle that." Francine volunteered. "Me Too." Maria said. "And we'll get your equipment." George's Dad also volunteered with the other parents agreeing as well. "You kids just focus on what you're going to do." The band looked at each other and hesitantly agreed. "Okay." Libby spoke for the group. Jack had organized the band with a room to speak in. "Okay guys I was thinking since we have twenty minutes why don't all of us perform." Carl suggested. "I don't know man. This is the big time and you and Libby are way stronger singers than the both of us." George said with Michelle nodding in agreement. "You guys can totally do it." Libby said. "I agree." Carl said. George and Michelle looked at each other and nodded. "Okay." George said. "We'll go first and finish with you two." Michelle added. "Great, you can go last Carl." Libby said. "What, why me you could…" Carl tried to argue back. "We need to finish strong and you're a way better singer than me. You have like infinite range." Libby said. Carl sighed. "Fine but we still haven't figured out how we're singing."
"I was thinking what if I sing 365. Start with something smooth." George suggested. "You haven't practiced that one enough." Libby said. "Yeah." Michelle agreed. "Why not I Found A Way." She suggested. "Okay but if I'm doing I Found A Way you have to do Freak the Freak Out." George said to Michelle. "Okay fine. What about you Libby? Are you going to sing Let it Shine?" Michelle asked. "No, I was thinking You Don't Know Me." Libby said. "Ooo, That's a good one." Carl said. "And what about you Carl?" George asked. "I was thinking of Shakespeare, what do you think?" Libby gave him a smile. "Good choice." Libby said. "And if we happen to have a little time, Libby, why don't me and you do that duet we've been working on." Carl suggested. "Count on me, sure." Libby said excitingly. "Great now that that's all decided, how about we all go home and rest up before practice tonight." George suggested. Everyone nodded in agreement.
The Compound
Libby and Carl met up with the rest of the team who were congratulating them for their accomplishment. "You guys are amazing, you really deserve this." Sheen said to them, giving Libby a kiss. "Yeah." Sid agreed. "Thanks guys. Carl and I just wanted to see you before tomorrow, we'll be rehearsing all day tomorrow and we won't have a chance to see you." Libby said. "We just wanted to stop by to drop off some tickets and backstage passes." Carl said. Everyone smiled with excitement. "We just managed to get you all tickets…"Carl started. "Buuut, we only got four backstage passes." Libby continued. "We thought long and hard about it." Carl said. "And we came to the decision that we'll give them to Sheen, Sid, Elky, and Jamey." Jamey, Sid, Sheen, and Elky happily got their backstage passes and gave the others smug grins. "Of course." Timmy groaned. "Yeah." AJ agreed. "Well at least we still get to go." Chester said. "Of course you say that." Brett groaned. "Don't be like that guys." Sheen said. "We can't all be the boyfriend." Sheen said. "Or girlfriend." Elky added. "Or best friend." Sid continued. "Or sister." Jamey finished. "If you guys gloat we'll take your passes away." Libby said. "Sorry." The people who got backstage passes said to the ones who didn't.
Two Days Later
McAlister Music Festival
After buying new clothes and equipment, rehearsing all day and night the day finally came. The Band was alone in a tent given to them while their friends and family were enjoying the festival. There was a deep ominous silence that surrounded the room, if one listened close enough they could probably hear Carl shaking from the nerves. No one said anything, they didn't even dare to look at each other, they were that nervous about their first big performance.
A little while later the band was getting ready to perform. Timmy, AJ, Brett, Tootie and Chester were sitting with the crowd while Jamey, Sid, Sheen, and Elky were waiting backstage with Michelle's brother Daniel and her sister Claire and George's girlfriend Blake and friend Tommy along with the band's parents. "Do you think we should wish them luck?" Maria asked. "I think the kids need to be left alone right now. The last thing they need is us breathing down their necks before they perform." George's Dad said. "I agree." Michelle's Mom said. "Okay." Maria agreed.
The last act just finished playing and the band was waiting their turn. "If you loved that act you'll love this one. Introducing the new sensation taking the internet by storm. Sonic Boom!" Libby let out an excited but nervous breath. "Alright guys. Showtime." Libby said. Everyone nodded and went on stage. As they walked onto the stage the world felt like it was moving in slow motion; they felt every beat their hearts were making, they could hear every beat in their ears. They got into position, Carl took George's spot playing the drum, George took Carl's guitar, Michelle was on base and Libby was on her keyboard. Seeing the massive crowd, George was panicking on the inside, he felt like he was about to collapse but after remembering Tori's advice he took a deep breath and calmed himself. "Good Afternoon Retroville! We're Sonic Boom and we're happy to be here! But enough about my blabbering you came here for one thing and one thing only! Let's rock!" The crowd began to cheer as George began to play.
Well, I never thought that it'd be so simple but
I found a way, I found a way
And I always thought that it'd be too crazy but
I found a way, I found a way
If you open up your mind
Carl, Libby, and Michelle: See what's inside
It's gonna take some time to realign
But if you look inside, I'm sure you'll find
Over your shoulder you know that I told you
I'll always be pickin' you up when you're down
So just turn around
Now that I know that anything's possible
I found a way, I found a way
No one can break what's so unbreakable
I found a way, I found a way
If you open up your mind
Carl, Libby, Michelle: See what's inside
It's gonna take some time to realign
But if you look inside, I'm sure you'll find
Over your shoulder you know that I told you
I'll always be pickin' you up when you're down
So just turn around
No one cares what you give
You know you gotta live like you wanna live
When it's time to be free
You know you gotta be what you wanna be
If you open up your mind
Carl, Libby and Michelle: See what's inside
It's gonna take some time to realign
But if you look inside, I'm sure you'll find
Over your shoulder you know that I told you
I'll always be pickin' you up when you're down
So just turn around.
The crowd began to cheer like wild animals, George turned back at his band mates and smiled. George quickly switched places with Michelle as the band prepared for their next song. "If you guys loved that, you'll definitely love this!" She screamed. "Dedicate this to my favorite artist. Tori Vega!"
Are you listening?
Hear me talk, hear me sing
Open up the door
Is it less? Is it more?
When you tell me to beware
Are you here? Are you there?
Is it something I should know?
Easy come, easy go
Nodding your head, don't hear a word I said
I can't communicate
When you wait, don't relate
I try to talk to you, but you never even knew
So, what's it gonna be?
Tell me, can you hear me?
I'm so sick of it, your attention deficit
Never listen, you never listen
I'm so sick of it, so I'll throw another fit
Never listen, you never listen
I scream your name, it always stays the same
I scream and shout
So what I'm gonna do now is freak the freak out (Hey)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh
Patience running thin
Running thin, come again
Tell me what I get, opposite, opposite
Show me what is real
If it breaks, does it heal?
Open up your ear
Why you think that I'm here?
Keep me in the dark, are you even thinking of me?
Is someone else above me? Gotta know, gotta know
What am I gonna do? 'Cause I can't get through to you
So, what's it gonna be? Tell me, can you hear me?
Carl, Libby and George: Can you hear me?
I'm so sick of it, your attention deficit
Never listen, never listen
I'm so sick of it, so I'll throw another fit
Never listen, never listen
I scream your name, it always stays the same
I scream and shout
So what I'm gonna do now is…
Crowd: Freak the freak out
Hey!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh
Michelle began to smile harder after the crowd sang along with her.
Easy come, easy go (Hey)
Easy come, easy go
(Can you hear me?)
I scream your name, it always stays the same
I scream and shout
So what I'm gonna do now is
…
Crowd: Freak the freak out
Hey!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh
I scream your name
But you never listen
No, you never listen
But you never listen.
The crowd applauded even louder than they did for George. Michelle's eyes began to light up with joy. She then turned to Libby who smiled, Michelle handed her bass to George who gave the guitar to Libby while Michelle went to handle the keyboard. Libby looked at the crowd and let out a confident smile. "Let's get this started."
You think you know me
But you don't know me
You think you own me
But you can't control me
You look at me and there's just one thing that you see
So listen to me
Listen to me
You push me back
I'll push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I'll scream at you
Louder, L-L-L-L-Louder
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
You don't know me.
The audience was loving Libby's song, some of them were falling in love with her on the spot. Sheen was cheering for Libby like a man possessed, he was screaming so loud that Jamey and Sid had to move away from him, nothing could hold back his joy. The only person cheering louder than him were Libby's parents. Shawn who was watching the concert on his laptop smiled. "Way to go sis."
You think you got me
But you don't get me
You think you want me
But you don't know what you're getting into
There's so much more to me then what you think you see
So listen to me
Just listen to me
You push me back
I'll push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I'll scream at you
Louder, L-L-L-L-Louder
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
You don't know me
And the longer that you stay, the ice is melting
And the pain it feels okay, it feels okay (hey)
You push me back
I'll push you back
You scream at me
I'll scream at you
Louder, louder, louder, louder
Louder, louder, louder, louder
Louder
You push me back
I'll push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I'll scream at you
Louder, L-L-L-L-Louder
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
And I don't have to
I think you know me
The crowd cheered louder than before and Libby let out a smile, turned around and walked away from them nonchalantly which made the crowd love her even more. Jack smiled at what he just watched. "Hmm, that girl is a born performer." Libby walked to Carl. "You're turn Big Guy." Carl smiled. "Hope I don't disappoint after a performance like that." Libby let out a laugh. "Please, after you're done they'll forget all about me." Libby smiled back. Libby handed Carl the guitar and made her way back to the keyboard, George showed up and took the drum sticks from Carl. "Knock 'em dead." George said. "I'll try." Carl replied. Carl looked on at the crowd but still felt a little nervous but turned to see his friends backstage cheering him on, he turned to the crowd and saw his other friends there and smiled.
I saw you there, so beautiful
You stopped and stared, so magical
Then you asked me for my name
And we took an uptown train
Before you leave, get up to go
I wanna know
Do you like Shakespeare? Jeff Buckley?
Watching movies on Sunday?
Do you like kissing when it's raining?
Making faces in the station?
Do you like? I need to know
Carl's singing was like nothing the crowd had ever heard before. No one could even give it a good enough description. All they knew was they loved what they were listening to and that they wanted more.
What do you like? Before you go
You walk me home, so wonderful
It starts to snow, it's incredible
Now we're walking up my street
And you slowly turn to me
You're three inches from my lips
But before we do this
Do you like Shakespeare? Jeff Buckley?
Watching movies on Sunday?
Do you like kissing when it's raining?
Making faces in the station?
Do you like? I need to know
What do you like? Before you go
Oh, oh
Show me the place where you come from
And the places you dream of
I wanna know everything you are
But before we get that far
What do you like?
I need to know
What do you like? Before you go
Do you like Shakespeare? Jeff Buckley?
(Watching movies on Sunday?) Just you and me on Sunday
Do you like kissing when it's raining?
Making faces in the station?
'Cause I like Shakespeare, Jeff Buckley
Watching movies on Sunday
Kissing when it's raining
Making faces in the station
Do you like?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
The crowd went insane after Carl's performance, he didn't know how to handle this much love so he just smiled bashfully. "Alright Carl, let's finish this up strong." Libby said. Carl smiled and nodded. Libby then began to play.
Libby: Now I'm about to give him my heart,
But remember this one thing (Michelle: Yeah),
I've never been in love before,
So you gotta go easy on me.
Carl: I heard, love is dangerous (Michelle: Oh),
And once you fall you never get enough (Michelle: Oh),
But the thought of you leavin',
Ain't so easy for me (Michelle: No).
Whole Band: Don't hurt me (Carl: Yeah),
Desert me, don't give up on me.
Carl: What would I want to do that for
Whole Band: Don't hurt me, desert me
Libby: Make me sorry,
I ever counted on you.
Whole Band: 1, 2, 3, 4, to the 5.
Libby: Baby I'm countin' on you (4x).
Carl: Understand I've been here before,
Thought I found someone I finally could adore.
But you failed my test,
Gotta know her better,
(With Libby) So I wasn't the only one.
Carl and Libby: But I'm willin' to put my trust in you,
Baby you can put your trust in me.
Just at the count of three,
You can count on me,
And you're never gonna see.
Carl: No numbers in my pocket (Libby: No),
Anything I'm doin girl I'll drop it (Libby: Drop it),
You.
Carl and Libby: 'Coz you're the one I'm givin' my heart to,
But I gotta be the only one.
Whole Band: Don't hurt me, desert me.
Don't give up on me
Carl and Libby: What would I want to do that for.
Whole Band: Don't use me,
Take advantedge of me.
Libby: Make me sorry I ever counted on you
Whole Band: I really hope you understand that if you wanna take my hand,
That you should put yourself in my heart, I promise to be careful from the start
I trust in you with lovin' me very very carefully, never been so vulnerable.
Baby I'll make you comfortable
1, 2, 3, 4 to the 5 (Libby: Yeah, Yeah).
Carl: Baby I'm countin' on you.
Whole Band: 1, 2, 3, 4 to the 5.
Libby: Why would I wanna do that? Hey yeah. (Libby: Oh no).
Whole Band: 1, 2, 3, 4 to the 5.
Carl: Baby I'm countin on you.
Whole Band: 1, 2, 3, 4 to the 5.
Libby: You.
Now I'm about to give him my heart,
So remember this one thing,
I've never been in love before,
Yeah, you gotta go (Whole Band) easy on me (Libby: Yeah).
The crowd erupted into a frenzy. The band walked to the top of the stage and took a bow before they left. As they left the stage the band was bombarded by their friends and family. "You guys were amazing." Jamey said so excited as she hugged Carl. "Amazing, they were way better than that!" Sheen stated. "That was awesome. I still feel so juiced." Blake said to her boyfriend. "Thanks." Carl said. "We tried our best." George said. "Yeah." Michelle. "Yeah we are amazing!" Libby said. Jack walked up to the kids and everyone went quiet. "I have one word for you kids. A-Ma-Zing. You were simply amazing. Everyone here loved you. I haven't heard a crowd like that in years. I know it's a bit early to talk about but I want to sign you." The band looked at Jack with excited faces. "But we'll talk about all that later right now you kids go and enjoy yourselves." Jack left and the band looked at each other with big smiles on their faces and squealed. "We did it guys!" George yelled. "YES!" Michelle screamed. "This is incredible!" Libby agreed. "Our hard work paid off!" Carl said. At that moment Carl's phone began to ring. Carl checked and didn't recognize the number. "Just one minute." Carl said as he walked off to find a quiet place to talk. Jamey and Elky were just going over their favorite parts of the performance. "Hello… Dad!" He said, shocked. Jamey looked back over to her brother and saw a look on his face that she recognized. It was only ever saved for one person. Without any explanation she walked over to him the moment she saw him hang up. The rest of the group were put a little off guard when they saw her sprint towards Carls and give him a long hug as they saw tears coming down his face. It looked as though the two of them were having a serious conversation.
The group were about to go up to them when they were beaten by the siblings' mothers. Judy and Martha hurried over to their children worried about what was going on. With all the noise going on Sid could not make out what was being said and it looked as though Carl had had enough of the conversation and just walked off. Jamey looked worriedly after her brother rubbing her hand down her face. Her moms did not look better. Martha was in tears frustratingly saying something to Judy who just held her. Judy had given Jamey a nod that said go look for Carl and Jameyjust sprinted off to find her brother. The rest of the team had managed to make it backstage and see the speticale that was going on. "What's that all about?" Timmy asked Elky. But she just shrugged her shoulders and made her way to Carl's moms. "Mrs. Martha. Mrs. Judy. What happened?" Elky asked worriedly. Some of the parents had followed behind them. Martha was full in tears so Judy explained the situation. "Carl just got a call from his father. I don't know what he said but it apparently did not end well. I just can not believe he had the nerve to contact Carl and today of all days." Judy said angrily. "Jamey is looking for him right now if you kids want to go help her. Carl's dad is just a hard topic for him." Judy continued as Libby's parents went to comfort the two moms.
Elky felt a little hurt that she didn't know much of anything about Carl's dad. She did understand why Jamey knew she was his sister but still she could not help but feel jealous of the girl. The team and the band just wandered around and found Jamey and Carl sitting down as she gave him a hug. Elky ran up to her boyfriend and gave him a big kiss on the cheek. "Your moms told us the gist of what happened. Do you want to talk about it?" Elky asked. Carl just hugged her shaking his head no. "No. If that's alright." Libby stepped in. "Of course that's alright. What do you want to do?" She asked. Carl let out a sigh. "Honestly I just want to enjoy the rest of our night. We just performed with big name singers and got signed. Let's just enjoy tonight. I really don't want to even think about my dad. Is that alright?" Carl asked. Sheen nodded his head. "Absolutely." The big group just took off, got funnel cake to eat and just enjoyed the rest of the festival. But come tomorrow would have to face the facts of his father and Elky wanted to know everything about the subject but would never dare ask. What had this man done to her boyfriend?
Ok so we are a chapter away from catching up with cartoonace and their current posting. After I post the next chapter I may take a break to catch up on some other projects this has been so much fun and I wished truly this was my idea full and solely but I can't and this can never be more than passion project. Now I added more to the stranded episode than what was in the original fanfic and I am not sorry about that. Hope y'all enjoy.
