"Tris... Honey, I hate to wake you..." Eric whispered, as he nudged me. I woke instantly, looking to him. "HMm? What?" I said dazed. "Are Clarissa and Max, okay?" I couldn't believe how much our lives changed in the last 6 months, even in the past year. Clarissa and Max made more strides since their birth than I would've thought. Despite being 10 weeks early, they had no effects from it. They were right where they should be, which I had to admit was a weight lifted off my shoulders. Jensen and Cami adored them, and frankly so did everyone at Dauntless, Especially Dad, Four and Caleb.

"Yeah, they're fine... Today's choosing day..." I sat up, and said "Right sorry... I know you wanted to go with Jensen." He nodded and said "Yeah, but I wanted to make sure you were okay, first, and if you needed me..." I said "I'm fine. Thanks for checking though... and Thanks for letting me sleep in... I don't know why I'm so tired." Eric laughed sweetly, before kissing my head. "My Pleasure. Now get dressed. We have to leave soon." I quickly dressed in one of my favorites, a tank top, that had a couple spots for the babies that also kept them upright, and pants, complete with combat boots. I joined the others for a quick breakfast. "Jensen, wait. Before you go?" He turned and looked to me, as I pulled him close. "I love you, and I'm so proud of you." He hugged me back whispering something so low before he left with Eric. "MAMA! MAMA!" Came my son and Daughters cries. "Hey Cami, can you stay right here and play with your puzzles?" She nodded as I went to the nursery. "Mama's here." I lifted Clarissa up, sitting her in the one pocket, she giggled looking around, before I picked up little Max, and put him in the opposite pocket.

I went out to the living area, seeing Cami running all over. "CAMI! If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times... Do not run around in the apartment!" "But it's fun!" She said as she ran by one of our favorite lamps, knocking it over and shattering it. "And that's why we don't run around inside!" I said, sighing. Cami's lips jutted out. "Just go play in your room for now." I instructed as I put the twins in the play pen.

Eric: Hey babe. My husband senses are tingling. Is all okay?

Tris: Hey Four, I hate to ask. But can you come over and lend a hand?

Tris: No. But it's okay. I already called for backup.

Four: On my way. My Bestie senses tingled.

Eric: You sure?

Tris: Yes.

Tris: thank you!

I started cleaning up the glass shards, as the door opened, earning excited squeals from Clarissa and Max. "Hey." Four's voice said, causing me to turn, just in time to see him kiss their heads. I stood, as he came over, giving me a hug. "Can you help clean this mess up?" "Sure, but what happened?!" "Well, I went to get the twins up, and Cami was supposed to be playing with her puzzles, but apparently, she thought running around the house was more fun... I told her to stop, but that's when she knocked over the lamp..." Four frowned. "And Eric's where he needs to be, with Jensen..." I sat on the couch putting my head in my hands.

Four sat beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Do you want him to come home?" I didn't answer, before the tears cascaded down my cheeks. "I'll take that as a yes."

Four: Hey Eric, I'm with Tris, and the kids, now. But I think something's up with Tris... I'm worried... I know it's probably her hormones, but I feel like it's something more, and I think she might need you...

Eric: I should've known... This is the first time we've been apart, and her with all three... Jensen's usually working, and If I leave, I usually take Cami... I'm sorry man... She's probably overwhelmed. Tell her I love her...

I don't even notice when he dials a number till, I hear it ringing after he put it on speaker phone. "Tris? Sweetheart?" I felt the tears flow heavier. "Damn it. I'll be home soon honey. Give me ten minutes." With that the line disconnects. "He can't come home to this..." I said, wiping the tears violently, and tried to prevent more sobs. "Tris, stop. I'll clean..." We both ended up cleaning, but not before I sliced my hand open, and Cami running out for round two, and cutting her arm. "GOD DAMN IT! CAMI! I TOLD YOU NO RUNNING IN THE APARTMENT!" I yelled. I never yelled at her or anyone. Cami started crying, as Four looked to me. "Both of you on the couch." Max and Clarissa started crying too.

"Daddy to the rescue." Eric's voice said as he entered but froze when he saw everything. "Alright... What happened?" Hearing their daddy's voice calmed Clarissa, and Max. Eric came over, inspecting both my hand and Cami's arm. "Let me guess... Cami running around the house, broke the lamp, then ran out when you and Four were cleaning up?" I nodded. "Cami, we've told you, running in the apartment is not okay." Eric said. "I'm 6 years old I'm not a child!" Cami fought back. "Excuse me?!" We asked. "Hey Marlene, Four here... yeah we need you." Cami cowered. "From now on you need to listen to us when we say no." Eric said, sternly. "Even if it's mommy. She loves you just as much as I do, and the fact that you don't listen when she tells you to do something is very disrespectful, and we won't tolerate it. Do you understand?" Eric finished, as Cami nodded. "Good." Marlene came and fixed up our wounds, before pulling me aside. "What?" I asked. "Have you gotten the deadly sea yet?" I shook my head. "Not in a few months... I don't even remember..." My deadly sea has always been irregular. "you two have been on a sex craze." I said "Marlene, stop. I'm not pregnant." I went back to the others. "Our initiates will be back soon. Let's drop the kids off to Grandpa." Eric said, as we got the bags ready.

"Here let me take the diaper bag." Four offered. I shook my head. "Thanks though." We went to Max's place, which wasn't far, and knocked. Caleb appeared beside us. "Hey." He was holding his little girl, named Amy, she's 2 months behind Clarissa and Max. "Hey kids." Dad greeted us. "Grandpa!" Cami squealed as she ran in. "She's a bundle of energy today." He commented as we sat the twins in the play pen with Amy. "She is. We'll be back at 5... Are you sure you can handle all of them?" I asked.

"I'm sure, and If I need you guys, you're a phone call away." He promised. It was the first day back for us. "Thanks." We left to go meet the new initiates. "First jumper Jensen." Jensen ran over to us hugging us tight. "Welcome home, son." I whispered. Eric smiled too. Once all the initiates were in, Caleb introduced himself. "I'm one of your leaders, and during your initiation, I'll be one of your instructors. I'm Caleb." I hid a laugh. I was going by Six, I wanted intimidating nick names. "Caleb? The Traitor?" One of the initiates asked. "I'm not a traitor. My sister is also a leader, Six! Get over here!" I jogged over to him. "The first lesson you learn will to keep your mouths shut." After we showed the initiates, around, it was almost 5.

Max: Hey kids, I'll keep the kids overnight, you guys could use a break.

I looked to Caleb, who was shocked, just as much as I by the message, Eric looked to me nodding.

Tris and Caleb: thanks Dad!

"I don't want to hear about your old factions. You're Dauntless now." I said, hearing the initiates talking about their old factions. "Were you a transfer too? Or Dauntless born?" One of the initiates asked. I looked at her. 'Of course, it'd be the know it all from Erudite.' "Are you kidding?" He shook his head. I saw Four's eyes glance to mine, hiding a smirk. "What makes you think you can talk to me openly like that?" He said "Because you're so approachable." I scoffed. "Careful." I warned, before getting up from the table, before running off to the bathroom. "Tris?" I heard the bathrooms in the café, only had one toilet, unless you wanted to go to the training room. "Go away." I groaned, as I rinsed my mouth out. "Honey?" It was Eric's voice, I opened the door. "I'm fine. The food just didn't sit well with me." Eric nodded. We went to our room, and changed, Jensen was staying with the initiates, even though we insisted he stay with us. We curled up in each other's arms.

In the morning I woke early and got ready for the day. After enjoying breakfast in the café, I went to the training room. They fought, and many of them were really good. After lunch, we were knife throwing. "Hey Six. Is this the right stance?" I groaned. This kid had a death wish. I corrected his stance 20 times in the last hour. "Seriously Ethan?! I've corrected the stance 20 times already, and I won't do it again!" "Oh, come on, baby. I know you're easy. Let me show you a good time. Let me screw my way to the top like you did sexy baby." I stopped dead in my tracks, which is when I felt my tank top rip, exposing the chest to all the initiates, who were staring at them and whispering how big they were. "Ethan, Go stand in front of the target." Caleb was at my side, concerned, handing me his sweater, which I pulled on mouthing an embarrassed thank you, Jensen was also at my side, Even though he lived at Dauntless for the past 8 months, he was considered a transfer. "Get me six knives." He handed them to me. I got my stance before throwing 4 knives, missing on purpose.

"You can get closer than that." Eric's voice said, as I threw it landing it next to his ear, but not slicing it, feeling more strength once I realized Eric was there. "Awe Come on Tris. You can do better than that." "Want me to give him A trim?" I asked, hiding a delightful grin. "Yeah, maybe a little off the top." He encouraged, which is when I threw it slicing his pants and undergarments open, and cutting him, earning a shriek of pain. "LET THAT BE A LESSON FOR ALL YOU, WHO THINKS THEY CAN TALK ABOUT MY PRIVATE LIFE. NOW GET OUT!" I said slamming my hands on the table. "What the hell is wrong with me..." I whispered. "Nothing's wrong with you honey." I heard Eric's voice say, before I felt his hand on my back, I turned and looked him in the eye. "Chris called me, saying to come down. What the hell happened to cause you to throw knives at the poor kid and essentially castrated him?" he asked as his arms snaked around my waist. "Were we that bad?" I asked as he laughed and said "You were." I laughed.

"That Ethan kid just hit the right buttons... First, he made correct his stances... 20 times in under an hour... then he called me 'easy' asked me to let him show me a good time, and that 'I screwed my way to the top...' When I stopped, he tore my tank top, the sweater is Caleb's... I don't know... It just set me off... Caleb didn't even know what happened... I..." Eric said "Hey, hey. Shh." He lifted my chin to see his face. "It's alright. I've got your back."

We went to the café seeing the initiates sitting and talking. "There he is." I whispered, as we approached. Eric stopped us and said "Ethan?!" Ethan stood. "Yes? Oh, Six baby! You came back for me!" I cleared my throat and said "Ethan, I don't believe you know who this is..." Eric said "I'm Eric, I'm the head leader of Dauntless, and Six's husband." Ethan paled. "Look, I'm so sorry... I... Beg for mercy." I looked to Eric, who said "Come with me." We all gathered by the chasm, where Eric bumped Ethan off, but he grabbed the railing. "You have 3 options. Hang there and I'll forget what happened, Fall and Die or Give up. But if you give up, you're out." Eric's eyes met mine. I saw Ethan's hands slipping. "TIME!" Eric yelled, as Ethan climbed back up. "I'm Sorry..." He ran off in fear, as Eric addressed the initiates. "Let that be a warning. If I see any of you, making moves on my wife again, that will happen again." Eric's arms slide around my waist. "Thank you." I whispered.

"Anytime." He said nuzzling my hair. "Hey, Everything Okay?" Four asked. Eric said "Just teaching the initiates to not mess with the fearless leaders." "Seriously what the hell happened? Was it that bad?" I turned my head into Eric's neck. "Can you meet us at our place tonight?" Eric asked. "Of course, we'll meet there in an hour?" I nodded, as we collected the kids feeding them and tucking them in bed. "Tris?" I heard Eric say as he came over.

"I'm fine..." When Four came with Jensen we sat in the living room, me cocooned in Eric's protective arms. "What the heck happened mom? All the initiates talk about is how scared they are after what dad did to Ethan..." I said "He deserves to be at the bottom of the chasm..." I slowly retold everything that happened. "That bastard." Jensen whispered. "What do you want to do Tris?" Four asked. "What do you mean?" I questioned. Eric said "Four's right. How do you want to handle this...? You have options. I can pull you from physical training and have Uriah step in..." I took a deep breath. "I want to continue... But I want more than Caleb there. If I had to pick, I'd rather one of you two there... But I'll settle for Uriah or Zeke." Four said "Eric? You have rights too... Not just as head leader, but as her husband." Eric said "I want to be there watching the physical training. Once the fear landscapes start up, I'll return to our office." Four said "That's why you brought me on as co-head leader. I can handle it." I said "Thank you." Jensen said "Anything I can do?" "No son, just focus on your training." We visited for a while, before we went to bed.

That was our routine for a few weeks. Today was fear landscapes day. "Jensen? Come on Son." I called. Caleb and I watched Jensen go through his fear. "NO!" He screamed as he darted up. "Hey it's okay. It's over." I whispered. "Mom..." He leaned into me. "How long do you think you were in that hallucination Jensen?" Caleb asked. "30 minutes." "5. Me and Tris are the only others who made that time." Jensen said "Thanks..." He left. "Who's next?" "You're favorite. Ethan." I groaned, before going and calling him. He sat in the chair. I injected him with the serum, before we saw it on the screen. It was me, rejecting him, then him taking what he wanted anyways. "What the..." I said as I turned away. When he came out of it his cheeks were bright red. "Caleb finish the fear landscapes." I said before storming out of the room. I wandered up to where the main offices were, before I threw open the door, and entered. I didn't even care, Eric and Four were deep in conversation. Eric looked angry but it vanished when he saw my face. "Tris?" Four also looked concerned. I went to Eric's arms inhaling deeply. "What happened?"

Caleb: Hey Eric. Is she okay? We were fine before Ethan's fear landscapes. His first one was Tris rejecting him, and then he essentially raped her, in the sim...

Eric: WHAT? That's what happened? Now I understand why she's acting like this. Thanks bro.

Eric gently rocked me, him and Four continuing the conversation. I stayed there till dinner, which was when we ate in the café. "Hey mom. Hey Dad." Jensen said, sitting with us. "Hey buddy." Eric said, with a smile. "Mom told me you did well with your fear landscape." He nodded. Dinner was filled with quiet chatter. I excused myself and was heading towards Dad's house to pick up the kids, when I felt Ethan push me against the wall. "You'll be mine." He growled, feeling me up. I tried to fight him off, but I couldn't get a good angle. "HELP!" I cried, earning a hand being placed over my mouth and one on my throat. "Shh." "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Jensen's voice said, as he yanked Ethan off me. I dropped to the ground coughing, and gasping air into my lungs. I didn't see Jensen after, but I managed to knock on the door. "Tris?!" Dad said, helping me up and to his couch. "Mama." Cami said curling up in my side.

Max: Hey Eric, She's safe. Here in my apartment. I don't know what happened.

Eric: I'm on my way.

I heard the door open, and Eric's voice say hi to Dad before coming over to me. "Hey." He knelt down, in front of me. "It's okay. I'm here." He comforted me, while Dad brought the babies over, causing me to hold them tight. "You three will have the best big brother ever, you know." Eric said "What happened honey?" "Ethan... Tried to... Force me..." I started slowly. "He even choked me... I was in and out of it, when I heard Jensen's voice." Eric frowned. We took the kids home and put them to bed before we heard the commotion. We turned on the monitors, which connected to our phones, before we ran out. We also had a gate on Cami's door. "Jensen, why did you do it?!" Four demanded as he forced Jensen down on the table, I could see his hands were locked up. "Four lay off the kid." I stated. "He's a hero." Jensen looked up to me. "I just murdered someone... How is that equal to being a hero?!" I said "You did it because what that sick bastard tried to do to your mama." I sat next to him. "That trumps everything else." Eric came over whispering the situation to Four. "Damn... Fine, but the initiates are scarred. You have to sleep at home." We took him home, once inside Eric turned to Jensen. "Dad, I'm so so..." "If the word coming out of that mouth is sorry, Shut the heck up. You have nothing to be sorry for. You saved your moms life." Jensen said "I don't even know what came over me..."

~Flashback Jensen's prov~

I was walking to find mom, after she screamed. I found her right outside grandpa's, but that kid Ethan had her pinned against the wall and leaving her unable to fight. "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?" I shouted, yanking the bastard off her and dragged him off, lecturing him. I didn't have a destination in mind. Next thing I knew we were at the chasm, which is when I threw him off it.

~End Flash Back back to Tri's Prov!~

I looked to Eric, as Jensen finished his story. "Well, like we said, you saved your mom's life. Now... Go get some rest buddy. You did good today." He hugged Eric before coming to me, holding me longer than normal. "I'm proud of you honey." I whispered, placing a kiss on his head. We all went to our rooms, Well I checked on the kids first before joining Eric in bed, drifting to sleep.
