When Woozie called him, Taeko arrived at his base of operations. Due to the updates, that had changed to the old neighborhood of Commerce to one of their fancy office buildings. Taeko had changed out of his clothes to the [Nergal Suit] set with a black fedora out of respect. As he was arriving in his [Banshee], he got a notice from the System that he had new perks.

Taeko was ecstatic to find that he could gain perks via maxing friendship with certain villagers as it added more reward to what he already found rewarding. As he looked up at the sky that was slowly sliding into evening, he got a phone call from Robin.

"Hey Robin, how's the business?" Taeko asked.

"Already getting into the swing of things, the staff you set me up with gelled well. I wanted to thank you again, and I realized a fitting reward. I can now get farm buildings for you up faster now that I have a proper team backing me up. So I'll give you a family discount just for the farm buildings. Don't worry about bringing me any materials, I'll cover it. Just play the Gold for it. And I had Seb use his computer skills to help me make a simple app for you to order services. While I do like the convenience, that's only for farm buildings. You'll have to come by if you need anything else." Robin said as Taeko thanked her. "You're welcome. You take care now."

She hung up as his phone got the alert of the new app. He'd look at it later as he went into the building to meet up with Woozie.

"I noticed that your men's presence isn't as prevalent." Taeko remarked as he took a seat.

"That's because the Red Gecko are moving to Forjado. We've been setting ourselves up there to take over the racing scene among other plans. Our alliance is still intact between us, Taeko. You've been a dear friend to me and the group. In a way, I am stepping out of your way to dominate the city." Woozie said as Taeko nodded.

"Well for what it's worth, you'll be missed." Taeko remarked. "But at least Xin is going to be a distance away from his sister."

Woozie laughed as Ran Fi Li grunted.

"We do have a gift for you." Su Zi Mu said coming out from the shadows. "Something we acquired with plans to move to a new building as base of operations, but…with the Forjado move now viable…we'd have to give it to you."

Ran Fi Li grunted again as Su cleared his throat.

"With a price tag."

"It was an office building in Del Perro. Maze Bank West. Don't worry it's paid for, but we only ask for two million considering the garage space." Woozie said as Taeko handed over the money without hesitation.

"I know to make money, you have to spend it. So the garage has three full floors and a mod shop?" Taeko asked.

"Yes, and you'll have a personal office mechanic." Woozie remarked. "Let's get the paperwork set up."

It was a quick matter and Taeko got a text box.

"You're welcome." Woozie said as Taeko was out the door.

Taeko was going to miss Woozie being around. He got in his car and was driving over to the club before going into his club office. He had Peach taken off dancing in the club duty when Lightning came into the office.

"Mighty Maelstrom, what's popping?" Lightning said as Taeko fist bumped him.

"All good in the hood. Just expanding business." Taeko said.

"Well, I wanted to let you know on making things a bit easier on not having to send the profits to you by mail. The profits you can collect will be stored in your office's safe every day. For you to pick up whenever. Easier to stash the cash." Lightning said before leaving the room.

"That'll work." Taeko said before using his elevator to go down to the Bordello.

It was time to visit the cells.

~[Entering Princess Peach's Cell]~

Entering the cell, Peach was sitting on the bed twiddling her thumbs only to get up to attention. She was back in the dress once again, due to Taeko. He asked for another dance and she gave it to him. As she was finishing, she had a bit of a glare.

"I'm sure Mario will save me." Peach affirmed. "And I'll be free from you."

"Such defiance, well I was going to ask for something else that could have gotten you something to do, but I'm going to just leave you to stew." Taeko said before moving out the door.

"Wait!"

The door shut.

"Damn it!" Peach said before holding her face.

~[Exiting Princess Peach's Cell]~

~[Entering Rogue's Cell]~

Taeko entered her cell to find Rogue in a new outfit: a black, three-quarter tank top, matching pants, dark sunglasses, and a dark, brown, leather jacket. Her hair was slicked back.

"You got machines to make clothes for me because this fits perfectly." Rogue said as he chuckled. "But I'm glad to see you."

She came over to affectionately hug him and he should see she craved to do that.

"Gawd, it's freeing to not have to wear gloves all the time." Rogue said before she kissed him. "Sorry, it's been just after I touched you…I've been craving more along with being touched."

He returned the kiss as the two got over to a couch. She sat on his lap to keep the makeout before he slipped her jacket off her shoulders. He was trying to pull off her top when she broke the kiss to do so, shyly revealing her bare chest.

"Like what to see, sugah?" Rogue said with her becoming more pronounced.

"Quite." Taeko remarked.

Taeko readying himself to see Manami only to get an email. It was an ad for a sale in underwear, but it got his attention when he saw the famed Calvin Klein sporty underwear: The sports bra with the white band around the end of it and the high cut panties with the white around the waist of it. Then Taeko saw that he could buy them for the captures and one for Rosemary…he bought them. For the captures, he got them in black with the white band saying 'Blacked'. Cliche, but he did not care. He was going to go into Manami's cell, but he took Chell off nightclub duty to see her instead to be introduced her to new 'outfit'.

"The desert. I'll bring some bottles of the good stuff." Taeko remarked. "Any suggestions for how many bottles to bring?"

"Two or three is a safe bet. I'll handle the cups…guess I can use that Joja discount for something." Sam said.

"Later, man." Taeko said, hanging up. "Well shoot, looks like Manami is spared another day…"

He simply set Manami and Rogue to dance at the nightclub while Peach and Manami were set to pole dance at the GS. With all four active, his nightclub's popularity would go up by 10% by the end of the night. Taeko would leave, using a [Warp Totem: Beach] to suddenly be warped to the beach.

"Great Dickens!" Elliot screeched as Taeko quickly appeared on the beach.

"Sorry, Elliot." Taeko said.

He returned to the farm to find a note from Elly May that she was going to have a sleepover with Candace, she'd be back in the morning, and she made [Green Tea] for him with one of the [Tea Leaves].

Taeko also found the big pile of forage thanks to the pets to which he stored away. He ruffled the fur of his sleeping pets, ever grateful for them before getting ready for the meet. Taeko got the two bottles [Ancient Fruit Wine] and that tea out of the fridge before changing out of the suit to the casual clothes he wore before. He went to his garage to get on his [Shotaro] before riding off for Calico Desert. Arriving there, he noticed a few vehicles and he realized the 'retconned' had changed up what his friends drove. Except for Ling, who still had her [Sabre Turbo Custom].

A purple and black Grotti [Stinger GT] patterned to look like a Yakuza Stinger even with the spoiler to match that clearly belonged to Abigail.

Shane now had a dark blue Vapid [Guardian].

Taeko remembered Leah had a [Surano] only to see it was apparently replaced with a sleek [Banshee 900RR] with a roof on it with the same color as her [Surano].

A black Bravado [Sabre Turbo Custom] with a crimson circuitry pattern decal on the sides. License plate was obviously pointing to it belonging to Maru.

Penny still had her [Patriot] only with a gold coloring and dark colored rims.

Sebastian's bike was now a black Pegassi [Bati 801RR] with a white Eastern dragon on the sides.

Everyone was gathered at [Rahasaya] with Beli having idle chat. Sam, Alex, Haley, Shane, Maru, Abigail, Penny, Sebastian, and Lin were there as he came up.

"Beli." Taeko said. "Everyone else."

Taeko handed Penny the [Green Tea] before revealing the wine which got cheers.

"Azorium wine? You make that?" Beli asked excitedly.

"Bringing out the good stuff. We're touched." Alex said as Sam got the cups.

"Not as touched as Haley is." Taeko joked as he got a few snickers.

Haley rolled her eyes.

"Well, now my parents want me to get another job…" Haley said dryly.

"What's the problem with that? You're an adult, you're supposed to work." Emily said.

Haley groaned.

"If you don't want to work, just marry Alex and be a housewife. That's if you can cook or clean." Penny snarked to everyone's surprise.

Haley's cheeks turned red.

"And be like Jodi? No way. I hear her say she married too early." Haley said as Sam gave her the side eye.

"Yet, they're still together. Things are just rough given my dad is…y'know, fighting for the country as a corporal. My dad's a stand up guy…used to work as a garbageman in Zuzu before he joined the military." Sam said wistfully. "A real hero."

"Kent, right? Kent Knight." Taeko said. "While I was in Souamil for that year, your father and I crossed paths. Let's just say I saved his life twice while he and his units were there after some Gotoro terrorists."

"Dude…why didn't you say anything about it?" Sam asked.

"No one really asks about Souamil." Taeko said with a shrug. "Besides, I remembered it now because you mentioned his rank. He got promoted to Corporal because of that operation in Souamil. Your father was a real hero…the official story was he led the charge against the terrorist cell and was captured…but prevented a potential attack on the mainland. That's part is true…but the US covered some shit up."

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"Well, your dad's commanding officer was going to betray the unit. I found out and I killed him. This led to your dad taking charge and everyone thinking the Gotoroians killed that Sargeant." Taeko remarked. "Also when your dad was captured and hauled off to a prison camp….it was actually some of the criminal elements of Souamil who broke your pops out. Let's just say America took the credit to look good to the media. The organizations didn't care, they hated the Gotoro Empire too." Taeko explained. "I don't know what he's doing now though…"

"Damn. I don't know what to-wait, does my dad kno-"

"No, he doesn't. I never told him because obviously I'd be in deep shit for killing a soldier, even if he was dirty as shit. Plus, the people who were helping me would have been pissed to find out considering I did this out of my own actions." Taeko affirmed. "It's messed up, but considering the rest of the team made it out alive…it's the best outcome."

"Well thanks for having my dad's back…then." Sam said as they clinked cups before drinking.

"So, Pen…how's the first day of training?" Taeko asked.

"Training for what?" Shane asked.

"I suppose I should tell all of you who already don't know. Turns out I'm related to the Belmonts on my father's side. My ancestor was the older sister of Abigail's ancestor. So we're like very distant cousins." Penny said. "So I took up the Belmont last name to become the new keeper of the whip. And there's something…I found out I'm a dhampyr."

"What the fuck is a dhamph-"

"She's half-human…and half vampire." Emily said.

"Wait, I thought vampires were extinct!" Haley said with her voice a pitch higher.

"Not exactly. Full on vampires are for the most part, extinct. What is left are dhampirs, the hybrid. Plenty came about before and after the fall of Dracula. The most famed being Alucard. Penny is not only a Belmont but… Dracula's niece was the dhampir that got together with Penny's ancestor…was related to the Bartley clan…who were descended from the Tepes. Dracula's family." Abigail remarked. "But that's not a big deal. Our family tree includes Alucard. Married into a family with one of the offshoots. Even before then, he's been fighting alongside my family for generations. He's likely still alive…he had kids with her so our clan isn't unfamiliar to dhampirs."

Penny never thought she'd carry a whip by her side, but then again she never thought she'd get out of her mother's place.

"Damn, that's heavy." Alex remarked before putting a hand on Penny's shoulder. "Look, I know something about deadbeat dads. You need to talk to someone. I'm here."

"Alex, that's so kind of you." Penny said warmly.

"Maybe someday, I'll hunt both of them down." Taeko remarked as Alex chuckled.

"I wish you could, but my mother doesn't know his name." Penny said.

"I know mine." Alex said as Taeko took the details down.

"I'll look into it in my downtime." Taeko remarked.

"So…what are your summer plans?" Shane asked no one in particular.

"Getting on my grind to earn some cash doing my ice cream stand." Alex said chipperly. "Given it's going to be tourist season."

"Oh joy, it is just like back in my old hometown." Taeko said dryly.

"I need to look for another job…after all the crazy shit I hear secondhand about Joja from hearing about you and what Abigail said she saw in the Mines. I don't think I feel comfortable working there. Morris isn't helping." Sam said.

"I'll line you up with a job." Taeko remarked. "I got a new business that opened up. A nightclub. Oh and remember that strip club the Mazodu twins used to own? I reopened it right under the nightclub. Along with a 'cathouse' under that."

"Damn, man…you work fast." Shane remarked.

"Wait, you're the owner of Stardew Galaxia?!" Haley said on her phone. "That club was making some rounds on my socials."

"Tempting, but I don't want to do night sights." Sam said sheepishly. "Something in the day please."

"How do you feel about working with propane?" Taeko asked. "I do own a propane company."

"Got any businesses less of a drive?" Sam asked.

"I'll look into it. Promise." Taeko remarked.

"Sweet." Sam remarked as Shane poured a round of drinks for all.

"Maybe I'll get the Super Starlights a gig at Desired Myth." Taeko teased.

"That would be so choice, but…our band went through a name change. Stars of the Night." Sam said.

"And that's cue for a toast to the end of this season. To the future!" Shane said as everyone took a glass. "Penny, I'm surprised."

"I'll make an exception again." Penny said. "Cheers."

Everyone clinked glasses sharing a hearty laugh. Come eight p.m, the group would go their separate ways leaving just Taeko and Beli behind.

"Taeko, the business has done very well and I want to improve things. But I feel I should be honest that I have a problem. Some of my assets in other countries have been frozen on account of an investigation. Some of it could be paid off legally, but other countries are asking for bribes. Point this, this asset is the most secure right now…and I need to invest in improving my business and pay these off." Beli said.

"So what's the plan for Rahasaya?" Taeko questioned.

"For one, an actual building for the place. I'll still be able to do trading with you, but I'm changing the items that I want in exchange for some of them. I want some of your products to sell here and in exchange we can trade. But as for upgrading the business, in exchange for that…I'm conceding some more of the business for you to have a 40% cut alongside this ..."

She revealed a key.

"The reason this investigation started was because one of my business associates thought she could be slick. She attempted to do business with some fringe terrorist group. Some Russian group." Beli said bitterly.

"Heidecker." Taeko said before explaining what they were.

"Yeah, them. Even worse, she's family which makes this investigation more messy. So I'll need that gold to make this business proper and get myself a property to live in. I just need to make myself look good on paper." Beli said before Taeko had a simple suggestion.

"Just build a floor for your living space above the shop. You can add a little space for your camel…which I probably should have asked for its name." Taeko remarked.

"Bart. His name is Bart, but you're right! Easier on the needed funds and I get good space for Bart." Beli remarked. "I can at least replace the van with a truck."

"So how much are you going to need?" Taeko asked as Beli was doing the math.

"Depends, do you know any good construction companies?" She asked before he told her about Robin. "Ok. 1,000,000 will do. I can cover the rest at least."

Taeko was given a prompt and he said yes, paying up.

"Thank you, Taeko." Beli said, handing him the key. "I'll get started on construction right away…and here."

Aside from the key, she gave him a dozen [Summer Seeds].

"To make up for not getting you your cut this time around." Beli said. "Something useful."

"Thanks. You know what's in the locker?" Taeko asked.

"No idea. I'm pretty sure the only reason I got the spare key is because Cashlin put in my name. Well, I'm done helping her so take whatever is in there and empty it. I'm done being forced to placate her…because no one else in the family will." Beli said as Taeko gave her a supportive nod. "The lockers at a place called The Secure Unit…in La Mesa. And don't worry about the money I owe you for missed payments I didn't send…"

"Actually, I have a way you can make it even. I need something, really good fertilizer. Real good high quality. Get that for me and you don't have to worry about the missed payments this time around."

He got his bike as his helmet materialized on his head before he raced off. He simply got to his nearest safehouse before getting in a taxi for the storage facility, only to get a call from Angel.

"Hey, big bro. I've been counting down the days." Angel remarked. "I'm so ready to have my own space."

Taeko was beyond glad for Robin's app as he let him add rooms and repaint his house. Thanks to the System, that was instant. Now the farmhouse walls were painted a dark oak brown and the roof was a darker shade of red.

"I haven't forgotten…" Taeko remarked. "Are you at Sandy's?"

"No…on the bus heading back to hers." Angel said.

"I'll pick you up after I deal with some business. Love ya." Taeko said before hanging up.

He arrived at the storage facility before using the label on the key to find the unit. Parking close, he got out and opened the door to enter inside. He turned on the light to see two metal boxes and something under a large tarp. He opened up the first one to find a million gold which he was more than happy to take. However, what got Taeko's grin wide was finding the second box had a note and another key.

'Beli, if you're reading this…I've likely died standing up against the patriarchy.'

"Well you sound like a piece of shit." Taeko said.

'If I lose my life in such a way, I want you to take my submersible to-'

"Submersible?!" Taeko sputtered.

He crushed the note before burning it with energy. He took the key before pulling off the trap to see a yellow [Submersible]. Yes, he had to pay for people to pick up and take it to his dock, but given the value of the vehicle…5,000 was nothing in comparison. He gave the key to the people at the facility's office before closing the account for Beli. He'd return home but not before picking up Angel to take her home. He was able to drive her home only to see the motel…that was nearby Sandy's place. He had completely forgotten about the place, given the motel's coloring…it blended a bit into the sand. Then, he saw it was available for sale and it hit him.

He could buy the place and give Sam a job there.

"Angel, wait here. I'm going to buy that place." Taeko said going on ahead.

He went up to the corona to purchase it. Looking around, he realized the place could use some repair in some areas. Then he got the price tag for the place. 50,000 Gold. He was relieved when the System said that would cover repairing the place and adding some amentines. He paid for it and got to rename the place to which he entered a name for it.

"Welcome home." Taeko said before letting her in the house.

He showed her to her room before giving her a house key.

"I'll try my best to stay out of your way. So what about that other nearby cabin?" Angel said.

"That's Elly May, my farmhand assistant." Taeko explained.

"She tall, blonde, speaks like she's from the South, well built? Hanging around with some airhead with pink hair?" Angel asked.

"Yeah, that's her." Taeko said as Angel groaned.

"Are you fucking her?" Angel asked.

"Not yet…" Taeko said bluntly. "But considering you still have your capsule home…you can pick a spot to settle down."

"Yeah, I'll do that." Angel said, leaving.

Taeko went to his room to get on Robin's app to deal with making some orders. For one, upgrading his old shed to a [Big Shed], two [Silos], and a [Fish Pond] costing him only 25,200 gold which he paid for. Taeko was ready for bed. As he laid on his bed, checking on his [Status] before looking over at the window for the pets. He noticed Logan had fifteen stat points that were unspent. Taeko made sure to spend them before closing everything out and going to bed.

Friendly - These pets tend to be friendly towards people and will happily greet others around them. (Easier to befriend and can help aid to befriend other people)

Glutton - These pets will eat significantly more often, and much more messily. (Will eat slightly more, can sniff out food within a mile radius.)

Ninja - Stealthy in the day, will sneak in the shadows of night as a true member of the rouge class. (Will prefer to assist the master or fellow combatants than fight on its own)
