Summer was ending and it was the day of Luke's party. Colleen ran outside early that morning, hoping the Waterlashes didn't move out. She still had feelings for Brandy, and she felt bad for breaking his heart.
Luke got up and sighed, getting some breakfast. Luna made waffles as Luke got him a plate. He was quiet all through breakfast.
"Are you okay?" Luna asked.
Luke felt nervous about his party.
"You can talk to me." Luna says.
"Something will go wrong!" Luke says, feeling panicked.
"Mom won't bring the siblings." Luna says. "She's dropping them off at Rita's place before the party."
Luke nervously eats.
Skylia sighed.
"Brandy, say goodbye to Luke. We're leaving after his party later." Skylia says.
Brandy nods sadly. Skylia then begins to blame Randy for ruining Brandy's chance to be friends with Luke.
Later, Luke is decorating the water park for the party. Luna decided to help Luke.
There were balloons with hibiscus flowers on them and luau-themed decorations. Luke had picked the theme himself. Soon, the party started as guests left thank you gifts. Luke just smiled.
They were loving everything about this party.
While Luke saw that his guests were having fun, he felt very sad.
"Your birthday will be fun, I promise." Luna says, knowing that's what Luke worries about on a daily basis.
Luke walks off. He feels very underappreciated.
"I feel underappreciated." Luke says.
"Luke, they left you cards and gifts." Luna says as Luke opened one of the gifts, seeing tickets to Broadway. Luke smiled at this.
Brandy left his gift and sighed. Luke smiled at Brandy.
"I'm leaving tonight." He says as Colleen nods, heartbroken. Next week was her 14th birthday.
Luke danced with Chalice as the spotlight was on him.
They soon kiss. Luke decided to slide with Chalice. Everyone clapped.
"You're all here to slide, too, you know." Luke says. Soon, everyone was having fun, even Luke.
The other siblings were watching this on TV, feeling a bunch of guilty feelings. While they weren't on edge, they felt bad for all the selfishness they expressed.
Lisa was on edge being with her former mother
Lucy tried to hold back tears as she missed him.
"I miss Luke!" Lucy sobbed.
"Says the one who mind controlled the town. Stop pretending you're innocent." Lana says to Lucy. "Luke's first teenage birthday was ruined because of that."
Lucy sniffed, wishing she could go back in time and tell herself that mind control was a bad idea.
Lucy thinks of a time spell. But Lisa looks at her.
"Fine, I won't." Lucy sighed.
"All we can do is swear to be better siblings." Luan says.
"I'm sorry I haven't been a better mother." Rita says. "I really should try to be."
"Really?" Lisa asked. Rita nodded.
With Luke, he was giving candy to his guests.
They smile. He then makes it rain candy.
Leni goes off to be alone. Luke follows her.
Leni wondered if anyone knew about her birthday and she also wondered about Lori. Then she sees Luke behind her.
"Are you okay, sis?" Luke asked. He sat next to Leni.
"Lori was the first one to accept me for who I was and I don't really have a special person like you do, Luke. Most boys use me for money and run." Leni says.
"That's horrible! I hope that one day, a boy will like you for you." Luke says, hugging Leni. "Now tell me, sis, how old are you turning on this day?"
"18." she sniffed. Luke smiles and offers his hand to Leni.
"Come on, sis. I have a surprise for you." Luke says with a smile. "Tonight isn't just about me."
Leni was confused, but followed Luke back inside the waterpark.
The waterpark's party area lights were off. Luke just smiled as he was still holding Leni's hand.
"What is going on?" Leni asked, looking around.
The lights came on to reveal a minty green cake with 18 candles on it and everyone grouped around it. Leni was surprised.
"Like, is this for me?" Leni asked. Luke nodded.
Everyone sang to Leni as Leni cried tears of joy. "I love it!" Leni says.
"Make a wish!" Luke says.
Leni wished Luke would have a great birthday.
After that, Luke sighed.
"Thank you." Leni says to Luke. Luke looks up at her and then sees his guests have disappeared.
"This is my fault. No one wants to celebrate an autistic child." Leni says.
"We did celebrate you, Leni." Luna says.
"Yeah, and they left after that." Leni says.
"They left Luke. Not you." Luna says.
Brandy was the only one left. Luke left the party, his head hung down low.
"Bye, Luke." Brandy says, about to leave.
"You're the only one who never ditched Luke." Luna says to him. "You may be Luke's real friend."
Luke sat in Forest's truck with him as he shed tears.
"Garrett ditched me!" Luke screamed as he considered moving out.
"My son did what?!" Forest says, furious.
"Headed to a different home." Luke says. "He hates me!"
Forest drove him to the house, just to find Garrett in the dark house.
"Garrett, show yourself!" Luke shouted.
Garrett came out with the others, who were carrying a "Thank You" cake for Luke.
"What?!" Luke asked, shocked.
"Thank you for the party!" Garrett says.
"It was a lot of fun!" Stephen says.
"Now we can't wait for your birthday party!" Remy says.
Luke smiled at his friends.
Charity was going to Rita's to pick the kids up. She soon arrived.
"So, how were they?" Charity asked Rita.
"Good." Rita says. "Lucy really feels bad for everything she did."
Luan was comforting Lucy as she sniffed.
"I'm sorry for hurting your son." Rita says.
"You should be!" Charity says.
"I'm sorry for hurting Luke." Lucy sniffed.
"It's okay." Charity says. The kids got in the car.
"Look, Charity, Lucy's going through issues. She tried to end her life. Just please make sure she's never alone." Rita sobbed as Lucy looked down hiding her scar.
"She'll be supervised from now on." Charity says.
"You sure? Lucy tends to sneak off." Rita says.
"Somebody will be with her at all times." Charity says.
"Luke, the choice is up to you. Should Brandy stay or go?" Luna asked.
"He stays." Luke says.
