-Chapter 3-

"Sugar and Spice is not always Nice"

It was already getting close to midnight, meaning Halloween was just about over. Pity, as much as the devil enjoy this holiday, he hated the fact that his fun of terrorizing kids, had to come to end. All thanks to Stickler, who couldn't just stick his nose in a book and let him be. Sometimes he wonder if he can replace him with henchman, but then again, who's going to be by his side whenever he needs something? There's no way, in Inkwell hell, is he going to let Stickler be his new henchman. He is the master of making people suffer. He wasn't going to let someone like Stickler, take that title away by annoying him to death with his 24 hour lecture about audits. So, after he take this naive woman's soul, he's going to bring it to Stickler to shut him up for the rest of the night, and be in his room eating all the candy with henchman. Which is what he was trying to do some hours ago before Stickler got in his way. The devil mentally sighed, "I really hate that guy."

When the unlikely pair appeared in the middle of the woods, the devil let go of her hand and took a step forward. He gave his pitchfork a twirl and pointed towards some trees. "Now then, prepare to be amazed." As soon as he said that, the magic from his pitchfork had went straight in between the trees and them disappeared. The devil had turned around to face the stunned woman and gave her a comforting smiled, "Why don't you go in first? After all, it is polite to let ladies go first, is it not?" Bon Bon, who is still stunned from seeing such magic happen in front of her eyes, had finally spoke. " Oh! Uh, yes. Um, thank you, mister devil, sir!" With that said, she took the courage to walk in between the trees. She was a bit confused because there wasn't anything special there, but kept walking forward. When she got close enough, her eyes immediately went wide as saucers.

Bon Bon was literally standing in world, that looked like it came out of a children's book. Everything was made of candy, including the castle that was sitting right in front of her. This looks more like a dream than a reality. I guess it's true of what people say, "Anything can happen here in Inkwell." As much as she was enjoying what she was seeing, she wonder how this would help her deal with her problems.

"Lovely, isn't it?" Bon Bon had jumped and turned to face the devil, she almost forgot he was there with her. She gave the devil a worried smile, "Oh, it's just wonderful mister devil, uh sir, but I need to ask you about how any of this will help me get my revenge?" The devil laughed, "Don't worry dear, I haven't forgotten about that." The devil then pointed his pitchfork at her and Bon Bon took a step back. "Now hold still, this may hurt a little."

When the magic struck at her, she could feel a few little prickles on her skin that felt a bit strange, but quickly faded away. She started to have a craving for some sweet treats and then got a weird feeling of something going inside her head. The devil lowered his pitchfork and gave the woman a sinister smile, "You are now in charge of Sugarland, your name is now Baroness Von Bon Bon. Your job is to lure your enemies here and give them something they can't resist. You have to power to turn whatever you like want into candy, including your enemies." The baroness, who's mind is corrupted by the devil's influence, liked what she was hearing. "However, there is one more thing you have to do if you want to keep these powers." The devil's smile had grew slightly more sinister as he made a contract appeared in front of the baroness. "I need you to give me your soul, in an exchange for these powers. You will most definitely get the respect that you rightfully deserve, that is, if you sign it of course. So, what do you say my dear baroness, do we have a deal?"
