Apologies mental health break
Finn wasn't sure what was going on between Matt and Sam but he saw Matt's reaction when Sam grabbed a bag from him, the usually easy going boy looked like he was going to rip off the other boy's head. "Matt!" Finn held a bag up to him earning a confused but still angry look. Rachel handed Puck his bag grinning, rolling his eyes Puck took it and headed to Tina. "So, um, Sam paid for Unique's breakfast." Finn explained "This is Marley's."
"Oh," Matt took the bag "thanks."
"Yea," Finn nodded confused but added "so you don't have to pay for a while." Matt nodded before walking over to Marley and Unique, Sam was waiting for him, before handing his bag over.
Mike and the Unholy Trinity leaned against Quinn's car watching their friend hand the bag over to the shy brunette while Sam handed his to Unique. "Well, well." Santana nodded "Let's keep an eye on Lips and see what he's up to."
"He could like her." Quinn said knowing Santana didn't trust a lot of people.
"We'll see." Santana's eyes narrowed as the blonde boy began flirting.
"I'll talk to him." Mike promised.
Unique offered her pinky to Marley as the bell rang, the blonde boy Sam was flirting with her and she was flirting back but she wasn't leaving her girl behind, glancing back at Marley she looked to her pinky waiting until the other girl grabbed it.
"With them getting in trouble yesterday we shouldn't have any problems with the rugby guys today." Sam said hopefully.
"They're new jocks," the rugby team had only been formed the year before "they're trying to keep the 'we rule the school' attitudes jocks and cheerleaders always have." Matt informed them.
"Rule by intimidation and fear." Mike said knowingly, before Beiste came along that was what the football players, minus Mike and Matt, always did. Even the Cheerios were no angels, Frannie Fabray having been the worst of them all, The Unholy Trinity were fierce and intimidating but not as nasty and cruel as Frannie but their fellow teens and some of the adults still feared them.
"Hopefully yesterday will stop any further plans they have." Quinn said slipping her hand into Mike's, she wasn't going to let down her guard and knew Sue wasn't either.
"Mr. Schue says it's a great idea." Rachel chirped carrying her tray to the lunch table, behind her Finn frowned, it was Jesse all over again.
"Yea, great." he mumbled.
"Did you hear?" Rachel sat her tray at the table "Mr. Schue thinks Blaine would be an excellent duet partner for me."
Giving Finn a sympathetic smile Santana glanced at Quinn who nodded, they'd see how the practice went, see if Schue would listen to them or just stick with Rachel. "Any problems today?" Santana asked seeing Matt, Sam and the girls arrive together at the table.
"Aside from glares, no." Matt shook his head. "I heard Sue told their coach she'd get them all banned from playing rugby ever again if there was another incident involving any team single team member."
"She can do it." Quinn assured the table when they all looked at him in disbelief.
The big grin on Blaine's face told them that Schue or Rachel had already told him the news "It's going to be great, we'll obviously win." he assured Kurt not seeing his quick frown.
"What's going to be great?" Unique asked.
"Schue has agreed that Blaine will be my partner, with us taking the lead there's no way we can lose." Rachel blurted. The table collectively grumbled before they started eating their lunches, when the others arrived Rachel quickly interrupted their conversations to inform them all of the Glee news.
The new people didn't understand the change in the original Glee club members but respected the quiet, mostly, as Blaine and Rachel continued to obliviously talk about duets they could do once they found out what Schue had planned for the club.
Marley wasn't going to ask so Unique did, when Santana and Quinn walked them to class after lunch "Was she serious, he's not going to audition just use her and Blaine?"
Quinn frowned roughly exhaling "He has used Rachel every competition, Mercedes just comes out to belt."
"Sue." Santana said, Brittany nodded in agreeance.
"She's going to help us remind Schue that Rachel's not the only one that has talent."
"What is can she do?" Marley asked.
"More like what can't she do." Quinn corrected. "If it's true and no one else is getting a chance we'll tell Sue, we'll find out for sure tomorrow unless he tells us before."
Marley and Unique sat on the bench by the Cheerios with Santana, "Give 'em hell Q, this is bullshit Coach."
Sue chose to ignore the language "Look my job is more important than fending off your boredom, so listen to Aretha and keep an eye out for trouble." lifting her mega phone Sue yelled into it "Get your pom poms running, I want two miles." Sue smirked hearing the groans. "So when were you going to tell me?"
"Tell you?" Santana asked.
"The loud one will be singing again." Sue clarified.
"She mentioned her and Blaine at lunch today, Glee is tomorrow so we were waiting to hear it from Mr. Schue." Santana replied.
"I heard it from his butt chinned mouth during my lunch, I have made a few phone calls, it will be handled." Sue said before walking away.
"Okay then." Santana nodded.
"Sue's making calls." Santana told the other girls after the others left "Schue told her today about Rachel and Blaine leading us to Nationals."
"This is going to be interesting." Quinn nodded. "He's going to tell us tomorrow and I'm sure whatever she has planned will start tomorrow as well."
"Is it going to be bad?" Marley asked.
"Honestly I'm not sure." Quinn admitted.
"Let's go, before the group gets curious." Santana said taking Brittany's hand. "We'll tell our boys what's up but no one else, they might squeal." she explained to Marley and Unique.
