Ch2

Naruto couldn't help but be amazed by everything in this world. All the new electronical advancements were nothing like he had his world. Even though there weren't any ninjas it was pretty nice.

"Wow Netto your place is great thanks for having me over," he said as he and Netto ate breakfast. Apparently he was vacationing here with his parents but they were out doing some couple stuff.

Netto nodded. "No problem. I'm glad to have you here, I was getting a bit lonely being here all by myself."

"Yeah this place is pretty cool," he said looking around. "So what do you usually do for fun here?"

"Well I usually surf the internet with Rockman," Netto said pointing to his PET.

"Cool," he said. He was still wrapping his head around the whole internet and net navis but he thought they were cool. "We don't have that stuff where I'm from but they seem cool."

"I see. Well if you ever want help making one I don't mind helping you," Netto said. "Having a net navi is pretty fun. So what's it like being a ninja? You seem pretty strong."

"Thanks," he said his face turning red. "I want to be the next Hokage or leader of my village so I have to train hard to be the best."

"I'm sure you'll do fine," Netto said with a smile. "I wish I were as strong as you," he sighed. "I can only fight when I combine with Rockman."

"Well if you want I can teach you some things," he offered. Netto seemed like a cool guy and he was letting him stay in his house so it was only fair he teach him something.

"Great. My parents are still doing their own things so I don't think they'll be coming back today," Netto said looking at the door.

"What are they doing again?" He asked.

Netto frowned. "They are dealing with relationship stuff. This was supposed to be a family vacation but they are doing it for their own reasons I guess."

"Oh I see," he said not knowing how to respond to them. "Well I hope they can work out whatever they are going through."

"Anyway I'm used to being left to my own so its not too bad," Netto said as they finished eating.

"Well at least you have parents who care for you," he said as he helped Netto clean up the plates. "I grew up alone."

"That must have been hard on you," Netto said with a sympathetic look. "I mean mines are good even though they are gone for a while."

He sighed. "Yeah it was but nothing I can do about it you know?"

Netto nodded. "Yeah true. Anyway want me to show you something I've been working on? I designed it to make a navi based off of scanning a person, I don't know the theory of it though."

"Sounds cool I wonder what mine will be like," he said. He didn't know much about these navis but having one based on him would be really cool.

Netto smiled at him. "Great come on."

He followed Netto upstairs where they quickly got some disk from his drawer. Netto booted up the pc and a bunch of images flashed on the screen.

"Alright I have the program running," Netto said as he set a touch pad in front of him. "This program scans a person's inner soul and makes the perfect navi for them. Want me to start it?"

"Sure lets do this," he said.

It was then that he felt a familiar presence in his head. Hello kid this could be interesting, I hope you don't mind I may give a bit of my energy to this.

Fine just don't cause any trouble. He placed his hand on his palm blue light from the camera scanned him.

Don't worry I won't kid. This new world seems lax we should have some fun here. A bunch of images appeared on the screen. It was humanoid and at first he couldn't see any distinguishing shapes but after a while it's form began to become clearer. The navi had orange and black armor that covered its powerful arms and legs. It also helmeted head had a helmet that had two fox ears, its face had whiskers and dark red eyes. On the navi's chest was the paw of a fox underneath the symbol of the Leaf Village. But what stood out were the nine tails it had.

"Wow your navi's vitals are off the charts its really strong," Netto said in awe as he typed away and made a few more modifications to the navi.

The net navi smiled at him. "My name Kyuu nice to meet you."

"Y-You too. I'm Naruto," he said. Hey fox is this thing a part of you?

I may have used my influence, pretty cool right? Don't worry it won't draw a lot of unnecessary attention.

Yeah it is. "So wow he looks cool. How do I test him out?" He asked.

"I can run a battle simulation if you want?" Netto asked. "I've been doing that with Rockman lately."

"Cool lets see what you can do Kyuu," he said.

The fox net navi turned around and faced a bunch of programmed viruses that looked like large mounted canons. The canons fired at Kyuu who wasn't fazed at all, instead he just held out his hand and a ball of red energy appeared in it before he threw it at the viruses. The viruses were destroyed on impact causing a ripple in the cyber world.

"Wow his attack stats are off the charts," Netto said in awe. "He is something else that's for sure."

"Yeah he seems cool," he said as a bunch of viruses with swords in their hands appeared and charged at Kyuu.

The net navi effortlessly avoided the attacks and easily destroyed them with a kunai knife that appeared in his hand. "Alright good job Kyuu," he said.

The net navi smiled at him and bowed. "Of course Naruto-kun."

"You're navi is cool we can go shop for PET to store him if you want," Netto offered.

"Sounds great though I wonder if I'll be able to bring him to my world or not," he said scratching his head. "I don't know if I'll even be able to use him since we don't have an internet in my world."

"Well I can always hold on to him if you need me to," Netto offered. "But I'm sure you'll figure it out."

"True. Anyway where do I get this PET?" He asked.

"Come on lets go to the store quickly," Netto said. "Rockman you and Kyuu stay here ok?"

"Understood Netto-kun," Rockman said from the computer.

"We'll be right back guys," He said as they exited the room.

They quickly went to the small electronics store in town and Netto found a new PET. "This one is good. Don't worry I can get it for you," Netto said as he showed him the model.

"Are you sure?" He asked not wanting to take advantage of his new friend.

Netto smiled at him. "Oh its no worry. I'm glad that you are here hanging out with me, besides this model isn't too expensive."

"Alright then but I'll make it up to you one day I promise," he said.

"Sounds good," Netto said as he paid for the PET.

Once they returned to Netto's place they quickly set up the PET. It was a cool yet interesting devise sort of like a personalized computer. The color was orange and had his leaf symbol on it. "Thanks Netto this is really cool."

"No problem. There are newer models every few years," Netto said. "I hope you and Kyuu can bond well."

"Me too," he said as he took his PET and looked at it. It was weird seeing a mini humanoid nine tail foxed in it but there were a lot of weird things in this world.

"Anyway want me to teach you some taijutsu?" He asked setting the PET down.

"What's that?" Netto asked.

"You know hand to hand combat," he said. "I'm not sure if you can do genjutsu or ninjutsu yet."

"Sure sounds fun," Netto said with a smile. "Lets go out back and practice."

They went out to the backyard, it was sufficiently spacious and there were no on lookers. "Alright lets do some stretches then we can do some basic fighting stances.

Netto nodded. "Great."

They did some stretches, Netto was surprisingly flexible for a person in this world. "Alright lets practice some basic moves."

Netto didn't really know anything combat wise. His friend mentioned working for some net police and something about fusing with Rockman but not actual fighting like in his world.

"Make your fist correctly and strike," he said as Netto tried punching him. He blocked the attacks as Netto did a combination of kicks and punches.

"Man you really are good at this," Netto said as his sweat formed on his head.

"No problem I practiced my entire life," he said with a cocky smile. "Come on lets keep practicing."

The two of them kept practicing until Netto eventually got tired. "Man that was one hell of a workout," Netto said as he rested on the grass.

"No problem I think you can get the hang of it," he said folding his arms.

"Thanks. I sort of help in the net police so learning how to fight wouldn't be bad," Netto sighed. "Especially since some people look down on me at times for not being trained formally."

"Who would look down on you?" He asked.

Netto sighed a sad look on his face. "Some people think I'm too childish and think I should act more mature."

"Mature? We are both twelve and your world isn't at war," he said with a frown.

"I know but still people still treat me poorly even if we are on the same side," Netto said his voice not doing a good job to hide the sadness. "Anyway nothing I can do. But I do hope I can get stronger to protect more people."

"That's the spirit," he said with a smile.

Netto sat up and smiled at him. "Come on lets have some fun. Want to go downtown?"

He shrugged. "Sure why not?" Excitement spread throughout his body as Netto guided him to a bus.

As soon as they got on the bus they sat down as it drove throughout town. "So what kind of place is this?"

Netto frowned and looked out the window. "Not much to be honest. This small town is kind of quiet but I'm sure there are things to do."

"Cool," he said as they stopped at another bus stop. Two suspicious looking men got up and sat up front.

They don't look like regulars. He frowned as he noticed one of them hold something in his pocket. As soon as the bus started he noticed one man point his PET at the terminal while the other got up and drew a pistol.

"Nobody move!" The man said firing the pistol out the window.

People screamed while he grabbed Netto's arm. "Don't worry I got this," he said softly.

Netto looked him in the eyes and nodded as the man came down the aisle demanding people empty their pockets into a bag.

He crouched into position as the man came up to them. "Alright kids empty them now."

"A-Alright sir," He said doing his best to not laugh. Pretending to reach into his pockets he quickly lunged at the man. "Netto come on!"

He quickly knocked the man down and disarmed him. "Plug in Rockman!" Netto said.

"Plug in Kyuu!" He said pointing his PET at the terminal.

"You little punks," the other man said coming at them with a knife. "You'll pay for this."

He glared at the man as he came at him. The thing is despite being a kid he was still a genin and knew how to disarm people. As soon as he came close enough he grabbed the man's wrist, twisted it, and sent him flying across the bus.

"Good job," Netto said as everyone on the bus cheered. "Looks like our navis took out their navis."

He looked down at his PET and saw that Kyuu and Rockman had not only defeated the enemy navis but set the bus back on the right course.

"They did," he said as the bus stopped. A bunch of police cars came surrounding them.

"Come I can get us out of here," Netto said. Taking out his PET his friend showed the policemen some badge. They bowed to him before leaving.

"Wow that was crazy," he sighed as they continued on their journey.

"Yeah. We make a good team," Netto said smiling at him.

"That we do," he said smiling back at him.

They spent the rest of the evening eating out before heading home. "Hey will you be in trouble for being here?" Netto asked.

He frowned and rubbed his head. "Yeah I should go back to my world to make sure nothing has happened," he said scratching his head. "I'll try to be back quickly though."

Netto smiled at him and nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

He smiled and nodded to his new friend. He was intrigued by this world and was glad to have met Netto.

Yet deep down he knew that he had to return to his world. At the end of the day after he gathered his things . "Well I should get going, people in my world are probably missing me."

Netto nodded his face glum. "I understand. I hope you don't get into too much trouble."

He laughed. "Trouble always finds me. I'll try to visit when I can, keep Kyuu safe for me ok?"

Netto smiled at him. "I will."

He went over and hugged his new friend. "I'll try to be back I promise."

"Good luck on trying to be hokage," Netto said waving his hand.

"Thanks," he said. Taking a deep breath he did the hands and did the jutsu that would return him home.

There was a puff of smoke and he felt the familiar tug in his get as he felt himself be pushed through a tunnel of air. When he opened his eyes he found himself on the ground of the park where he had been practicing his jutsu.

"Huh it still looks normal," he said scratching his head. He quickly ran over to a nearby shop and found his teacher.

"Hey Kakashi sensei," he said not knowing what to say.

Kakashi frowned at him. "Naruto where have you been its been? You missed today's practice?"

"Oh sorry I got caught up training," he said scratching his head.

His sensei looked at him as if he didn't believe him. "Well make sure you come by tomorrow ok?"

"I will," he said as he looked at the magazine his teacher was reading. Two days. I was in Netto's world for two days. Taking a sigh of relief he headed home. Netto seemed cool I definitely want to return as soon as I can. He smiled at himself as he looked up at the sky.

AN: Naruto and Netto are both about 13 here. So for Naruto it is set somewhere in part 1
