As Luca sat in his seat, he looked up to see the teacher. She was a young woman carrying books and heading into the class.
"Well..I have some new faces today.",she said with a smile across her face.
Luca could tell that this woman was friendly. He straightened up in his seat to look directly at her with a smile. The young woman became intrigued who he was.
"Well, looks like we have a new student today! Can you please introduce yourself?",asked the teacher.
That is when all of Luca's confidence began to break. He looked around him. He began to feel the eyes of many people staring at him. He didn't know what to do since since he was so new to this. He was about to put his eyes down but they landed on Giulia. She reached out her arm to hold his hand.
"Breath, it's all going to be okay.",she whispered to him with a small smile.
Luca went silent. Then, he smiled back at her before looking back towards the front of the room.
