I do not own anything to do with Harry Potter, or Star Wars

Hello guys, Badger here. It's been a while since the previous chapter. I will be honest, I lost interest in this story for a while, as my love for Star Wars weakened and I began to lose interest in the franchise itself. Because of this, I chose to move onto other stories until I had motivation or interest in writing this story again. It just so happened that interest came back, after the release of the Ahsoka show which, in my opinion is one of, if not the best Star Wars show they have made so far.

After regaining interest in the franchise I began writing again, however my second University had started, which delayed this chapter even more, but after many delays, its done so read on and I will see you at the end.

Chapter 11

A Wand For The Jedi

Palpatine looked out of the massive window in his office, overlooking Coruscant and the Jedi Temple in the distance. Dooku had informed him that his Assassin, Asajj Ventress, was in pursuit of young Harry Potter, after spotting the boy on Lendin, accompanied by Padawan Ahsoka Tano and two strangers, possibly Bounty Hunters. When Dooku cut off communications, Palpatine couldn't help but laugh to himself. Dooku was foolish if he thought he could keep his true intentions hidden from him. Palpatine knew Dooku planned to use Harry for his own personal gain. Palpatine knew that Dooku planned to kill him and take his place as the ruler of the new Sith Empire. It was the way of the Sith after all. The Apprentice is to kill the Master.

Dooku was foolish if he thought he could overthrow him. Whilst the aging Sith Lord was powerful in the Dark Side of the Force, Palpatine had knowledge and power that Dooku scarcely understood. However, Palpatine knew to remain cautious, for the time being. As foolish as Dooku may be, the true extent to the power of Potter's powers was still unknown. If Dooku was able to seduce Harry to the Dark Side, then he could use that power to easily overthrow Palpatine. And that simply wouldn't do. Until Palpatine knew more, all he could do was wait.

Wait. Meditate and harness more of the Dark Side of the Force within himself.

Harry was alone, as he wandered through Dahar's ship. Dahar had informed Harry and Ahsoka it would take some time to get out of lightspeed and arrive at Tatooine. Dahar estimated at most two days, until they arrived so, until then, Harry decided to ask James to train him in magic, like the aging Wizard had promised. Harry eventually found who he was looking for, in the cargo bay of the ship rummaging through an old trunk. The aging wizard hadn't noticed Harry's presence, as his back was turned. As Harry got closer, he opened his mouth to speak, only to be interrupted by James.

"How can I help you Harry?" He asked, turning to face him as he stood up, dusting off his cloak, before chuckling at the look on Harry's face "With the right imagination, you can do incredible things with magic, including sense the presence of others…something I should definitely teach you in future…now, I'll ask again, how can I help you?"

"Well, Dahar said it would take around two days until we arrive at Tatooine and I was wondering if you could begin training me" Harry said "Like you said you would"

"Oh yes, I plan to" James nodded, before turning back to his trunk "But first, there is something I need to do first"

"What is it?" Harry asked, taking a closer look at the inside of the trunk, where he saw a lot of boxes, that looked like the wand boxes he saw in James' shack

"Our young friend, Ahsoka Tano has seemed to have shown an interest in our magic" James said, looking into the trunk, though his eyes seemed unfocused "She asked me to teach her, alongside you"

"Really?" Harry asked, surprised "Can you teach her magic?"

"Honestly, it's possible, but I can't be sure" James replied, giving Harry his full attention "She doesn't have a drop of magical blood in her veins…however, she possesses the ability to use the Force…a bastardised version of our magic…limited and restricted…I think its possible that she is able to learn magic, as if she was a magical child at Hogwarts…so, I made her a deal…I'm sure you were told about wands when you bought yours from Ollivander's?"

"Yes" Harry nodded "He told me that the wand chose the witch or wizard"

"Exactly" James smiled "I made Ahsoka a deal…if, one of the wands I possess chooses her, then I will teach her everything I possibly can, whilst teaching you at the same time"

"Are these the wands from your shack?" Harry asked

"Not all of them" James replied "I tried making my own as a hobby over the last few years…I don't know how Ollivander and other wandmakers did it…finding the right materials is easier said then done…if one of these wands does call out to her, then it will be here somewhere…I should probably call her"

James removed his wand and placed it against his throat and asked for Ahsoka to come to the cargo bay. His voice was loud and echoed across the entire ship, Harry figured he must have used a Sonorous Charm on himself, like he had seen Dumbledore perform multiple times throughout the TriWizard Tournament. There was a few moments of silence, until Ahsoka arrived, looking slightly surprised. Whether it was James' voice echoing across the ship, or the sheer volume of his voice, Harry couldn't be sure.

"Ah, miss Tano, there you are" James said "I'm sure you remember our little chat on Naboo…well, I keep my promises…this trunk, contains all kinds of wands, of varying lengths, woods and cores…I'm sure you remember our conversation about wands?"

"I do" Ahsoka nodded, before giving James a curious look "How will I know if the wand chooses me?"

"We will only know if, and when, we find it" James replied, as he began looking through the multiple wand boxes "And believe me, if there is a wand in here that calls to you, we'll find it"

Ahsoka and Harry watched, as James rummaged through the trunk, looking at each box he pulled out before shaking his head, as he put it back inside. As Harry watched, with interest to see if a wand did choose Ahsoka, he couldn't help but notice the young Jedi seemed to be nervous and excited, as she stood waiting, eyeing every box that James removed from the trunk. The look on her face gave Harry a sense of déjà vu, remembering his feelings when he was a First Year at Hogwarts. Harry sighed at the memories. Everything James told him when they first met still plagued the back of his mind. He still wasn't sure how to tell Sirius, when the find him, let alone know what to do now. With the whole galaxy at war, Harry wasn't quite sure where he was supposed to fit into it.

Harry's train of thought was interrupted by James, who pulled out a box from the trunk. The aging wizard gently removed the wand from its confines, examining it closely, as he ran his hands along the wood. His eyes closed as he held it in his hands gently.

"10 ¾ inches, made from Cherry Wood, with a Dragon Heartstring core" James said, as he opened his eyes "I don't know who the original owner, though I sense they were not only talented, but contained quite a lot of lethal power"

James held the wand out to Ahsoka, where the young Jedi eyed the wand nervously, as if she was expecting it to spontaneously combust. The young Togruta looked at Harry, who gave her a small nod and smile on encouragement. Ahsoka carefully reached out and took the wand. She felt a strange tingle run through her fingers, as she looked to James, wondering what to do, or if something was supposed to happen. James merely rolled his eyes.

"Give it a wave" He said

Ahsoka hesitantly wave the wand, only for it to go flying out of her hands, with a flash of a red spark. Ahsoka looked surprised, whilst James merely summoned the wand and placed it back in its box.

"Nope, nope, that wand isn't the one" James said, as he put the box in the trunk "Never mind, we still have plenty to go through, there is still hope"

Ahsoka held her hand, gingerly, having been a little burnt from the sparks. James looked at a few boxes, before an idea came to him, where Harry and Ahsoka watched James rummage through the trunk, sinking further and further into the trunk, before he pulled out a box. James had a smile on his face, like he knew what it was, as he removed the wand from its box. The wand was one piece of dark wood. The wand had notches and crooked edges, but it had a sense of elegance to it. James looked to Ahsoka, as he carefully handed it to her.

"This…is one of my creations…12 inches, made with the wood from a Wroshyr tree, on Kashyyyk, with a core made from the feather of an Argora" He said "I found the combination to be quite intriguing when the wand was finished, though I have yet to see what such a wand can do"

Ahsoka took the wand but didn't have time to give it a wave, as it immediately combusted, leaving behind a pile of ash, much to Ahsoka's, and Harry's surprise.

"Hmm…perhaps not" James said, closing the box before throwing it over his shoulder "Shame…it was a lovely wand too…"

For the next hour, Ahsoka tried wand after wand, each one a fail. Some wands James knew, having labelled the boxes with the owners name. A few familiar Hogwarts students Harry recognised like Dean Thomas, Michael Corner and Parvarti Patil. With each failure, Ahsoka seemed to get more and more frustrated, though James didn't notice as he would immediately look for a new wand. However, after a while, when Ahsoka held the wand James handed to her, she began to glow a golden hue. Ahsoka was, at first, worried about what was happening but the smile on James' face told her it was a good thing.

"We have a match!" James cheered, as he gingerly took the wand back to examine it further "10 ½ inches, made from Cedar Wood with the core made from Unicorn Hair"

"Do you know the owner?" Ahsoka asked, as James handed the wand back to her

James picked up the box and looked at the label, where his smile fell and a sad look appeared on his face, much to Harry's and James' confusion.

"Whose was it?" Harry asked

"A long time ago, there was a young witch" James said, keeping his eyes on the label "Kind, caring…and very talented in many aspects of magic…she was a true Hufflepuff…one day, long after the war between Muggles and Wizarding Kind ended, many wizards and witches were hunted down and executed by people who believed they should be killed…she helped young wizards and witches escape, before she was captured and publicly executed"

"Who was she?" Ahsoka asked

"My sister…" James said

Yoda was alone in the council chambers, as he meditated. The Grandmaster of the Jedi Order felt a massive surge in the Force. Something had changed. The Force itself was singing, like fate had been changed and was heading down a new path. He wouldn't be surprised if everyone else in the Jedi Order felt it too. Feeling the surge in the Force, Yoda immediately began meditating, hoping to understand it better and see if he could find out more. This is where he had been for some time, when the door opened and Mace Windu entered, sitting on his chair, looking at Yoda, though didn't say a word.

"Feel it, too did you?" Yoda asked, slowly opening his eyes

"The surge in the Force" Windu clarified "Yes, I did…I came to see if you felt it…evidently, you did"

"Strong, it was" Yoda nodded "Changed, something has…fate, I believe…"

"Fate?" Windu repeated, raising an eyebrow "You believe fate has changed…whose fate?"

"Know, I do not" Yoda sighed "Yet, believe I do, that fate, changed it has, for all Jedi"

And that is the end of the new chapter.

I'm sorry if its shorter then previous entries. I just didn't want to needlessly stretch the chapter out, especially when I'm also focusing on my studies, trying to rack my brain to try and stretch out a chapter in an interesting way is not my idea of a fun time, so I hope to enjoy this chapter for what it is. Especially when this brings the question of what's going to happen to the Jedi Order.

But that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next time, in whatever story I see you in
