Lecture
Hey, guys I'm sorry I haven't upload last time but I was a little bit sick and could hardly grasp a clear thought, so I couldn't wirte anything good. Anyway I'm good now so here is a new chapter for you. I'm sorry its so short but I had to split it into otherwise this would be way too long. But regardless I hope you will still enjoy it ^^.
Aurora stood there and watched with a sympathetic gaze as Nuka stormed past her, disappearing into the darkness of the cave, which she had actually intended to seal.
Poor guy, she thought as she gazed into the yawning darkness before her. Then, suddenly, she heard a loud, angry voice.
"What were you thinking?!"
Startled, Aurora turned around and saw her sister, who had positioned herself in front of Herobrine, glaring at him with an angry expression.
He looked up at her with a surprised and bewildered look, but Roxana wasn't finished yet.
"How could you do something like that to the poor boy?!" she continued to rage, causing Herobrine to flinch at her loud voice "Nuka has been nothing but kind to you this whole time and this is how you repay him?!"
Aurora stood there in shock while observing the scene.
Roxana didn't often have outbursts of anger, but when she did, it was best to get out of her way as quickly as possible, especially if you were the reason for her anger.
But instead of responding or snapping back at her, Herobrine just sat there, staring at her with wide eyes.
Apparently, he wasn't accustomed to being yelled at by anyone but Aurora didn't mind that at all.
It was more than justified after the way he had treated Nuka.
However, even though Aurora was pleased that someone was reprimanding him for it, she wished it were someone else and not her sister.
After all, it was still Herobrine she was talking with.
I just hope he doesn't come back and seeks revenge after potentially regaining his power Aurora thought with concern as she watched Roxana, who seemed rather indifferent to the possibility of retaliation.
Instead, she continued to rant.
"Do you have any idea how terrible Nuka must feel now, after you berated him like that?! Have you even thought for a second about what you might be doing to him? He's your friend, for crying out loud, not your subordinate!"
"And don't even try to tell me that you're Herobrine, and I'll regret this later!" she added a moment later before Herobrine could respond. "I don't care who you are or were! Right now, you're a nobody!"
,,If you want to kill me for it when you regain your power, go ahead," she concluded with a bitter tone, "but it still won't change the fact that I'm right!"
She sighed.
"I thought you had changed since Nuka joined you," she continued in a calmer but still bitter voice. "I thought that something other than murder and bloodshed finally mattered to you, but apparently, I was wrong. You still care about nothing, and Nuka pays the price for it every day."
"You didn't deserve to be able to call him a friend," she concluded with a grim voice. "You don't deserve him at all."
After that, silence filled the room as Roxana shook her head again in disappointment, apparently finally done with her rand. Herobrine had lowered his gaze and wasn't looking at her at all.
I wonder what he is thinking right now Aurora thought as she looked at him but before she could think about it any further, a mocking snort filled the room.
"Why are you so surprised, Roxana?" someone said in an amused voice a few seconds later and as Aurora turned around, she discovered Steve was still sitting on the other side of the cave. He was smirking, apparently, seeming to be thoroughly enjoying the situation.
No wonder, Aurora thought, Herobrine and him are each other's worst enemies. I bet he relishes anything that humiliates him in any way, and vice versa.
"Herobrine simply has no idea how to treat people properly, let alone friendships," Steve continued to speak in a disdainfully tone.
At his last words, his voice turned contemptuous, and he exchanged a brief look of hostility with Herobrine.
However, instead of agreeing with him, Roxana just glared at him angrily.
"Oh, you're one to talk!" she retorted angrily. "You haven't been much kinder to him either!"
Steve looked at her in surprise for a moment but then he just scoffed and shrugged disdainfully.
"And?" he replied grimly. "I'm not his self-proclaimed friend. I'm actually the opposite."
Aurora felt a pang in her heart when she heard that.
That's true, she thought sadly. After all, he's the one who hunts hybrids like him.
But unlike her, Roxana didn't settle for this answer.
"But nevertheless, Nuka was still willing to help you get Notch back!" she retorted sternly. "You could have at least thanked him for his efforts!"
Steve snorted contemptuously in response, and Aurora could clearly see his face darken as he continued to gaze at Roxana with his blue eyes.
"I'd rather die!" he snarled angrily, but Roxana just shrugged in response.
"Good!," she replied simply, "then I have at least only one idiot to deal with!"
Steve's grim expression immediately disappeared upon hearing this and he looked at Roxana with a mix of surprise and indignation.
However, she had already turned away and was now looking at Herobrine again.
"You will apologize to Nuka when he returns," she demanded of the feared former god, who sat there with his arms crossed, still not looking at her.
"I don't think he'll come back,"
Aurora raised her head in surprise and looked at Einshine, who was also leaning against a cave wall and was busy mending his cloak.
"At least I wouldn't if I were him," he added with a grim side glance at Herobrine, who, however, glared at him so hatefully that Einshine quickly turned away.
"What?!" Roxana responded in dismay. "But we need him!"
"Do we?" Jason asked skeptically, joining Steve after having been busy sealing off another passage from the cave.
He looked rather tired and annoyed, apparently not wanting to deal with the topic any longer and just wanting some peace.
Something Aurora could certainly understand.
"But of course!" Roxana protested immediately. "He's the only one who can protect us right now or save us from dangerous situations with his abilities!"
"Well, I can try to find him..." Einshine offered, but to Aurora's surprise, Roxana vehemently shook her head.
"No!" she interrupted him firmly. "You can't go."
"I know you're not as powerful as Nuka," she added with a slightly gentler tone, "but as a hybrid, you have much better senses and can warn us of imminent dangers more quickly. Something that is very important, especially if there's a chance that Null is still looking for us."
"Oh, really? And what if I don't want to help you?" Einshine retorted grimly, crossing his arms. Aurora could feel the tension in the room starting to rise again.
But before he could say more, Aurora had an idea!
"I could go," she burst out, causing everyone to look at her in surprise.
"You?" Roxana finally asked, and Aurora could clearly see the worry in her eyes. "But Aurora... that's dangerous..."
But Aurora had no time to argue with her now!
"So what?" she replied sternly, putting her hands on her hips and looking at her sister with a serious expression. "It would be just as dangerous for anyone else."
"I know you're worried," she added with a gentle tone, "but who else should go? Everyone else here is tired or doesn't know much about caves, but I do. So I am the best option."
Roxana looked at her uncertainly, and it was clear that she still didn't like this idea. However, she eventually sighed in resignation.
"All right," she replied at last. "But be careful."
With those words, she approached Aurora and, to Aurora's great surprise, placed a bow along with a few arrows in her hand.
"I actually wanted to enchant and repair this for you," she explained, "as a little gift before you would leave again."
"Unfortunately, I didn't get to either," she added with a sad look. "Not to mention the arrows. So, you'll have to use it wisely."
"Okay," Aurora replied with a smile.
But before she could turn away, Roxana grabbed her arm again and looked at her seriously.
"If you've used up half of your arrows, come back here immediately, whether you've found Nuka or not, promise?" she whispered, and the concern was evident in her voice.
Aurora smiled when she heard that.
"Promise," she replied before grabbing a torch. She was about to disappear into the darkness of the cave when she noticed the empty bucket at the entrance.
It seems Nuka forgot to take it with him, she thought, picking it up and casually stowing it in her inventory, hoping to at least bring back some water if she couldn't find Nuka.
I hope he hasn't gone too far, she thought as she turned away from her resting place and headed straight into the darkness.
