3rd Person POV
It was looking to be another slow day at the office with Blitzø in his office doing who-knows-what and everyone was doing their own thing.
"I'm not sure that's very safe Ayden." Moxxie pointed out seeing how Ayden was sprawled out on the couch throwing darts at a target taped to the ceiling above her as he was busy organizing some files on their previous targets and clients.
"I don' tell ya how to kill people, you don't tell me how to kill time." She retorted back slightly in more of a bored than defensive tone.
"Damn the kitty actually has some claws…" Loona commented from where she was sitting at her desk scrolling through her phone as usual.
*BANG*
Out of nowhere, a faint banging sound coming from Blitzø's office was heard and even felt from how some vibrations spread through the walls making the ceiling shake a bit as well.
*SHINK*
A dart abruptly sunk itself into the couch right by Ayden's neck and she looked up to see the darts starting to shake themselves loose from the ceiling as she cried out,
"Oh shite!"
Rolling off the couch just seconds before the rest of the darts fell from the ceiling and impaled the couch where she had been lying.
"Phew…"
*CLICK*
Ayden only had a second to sigh in relief before she heard a camera click and saw that Loona had filmed that whole thing and Moxxie was giving her his smug 'I told you so' expression, but just as she was about to tell them both off they all heard Blitzø yell through a megaphone,
"M and M, Triple A, get in here! We're goin' to Loo Loo Land!"
She and Moxxie went over to his office as he opened the door to ask,
"Loo Loo Land?"
"Loo Loo Land?" Ayden repeated before Millie burst her head through the door window excitedly to exclaim with stars literally in her eyes,
"Loo Loo Land?!"
"Loo Loo Land!" Blitzø announced again through the megaphone before Loona yelled at them all,
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
"Oh buy some earphones already!" Ayden yelled back at her before Blitzø told them all,
"Alright people look alive, his Royal Horniness wants us to bodyguard him and his kid at Loo Loo Land so we need to dress for the job."
Pointing to a locker where three black and white suits were seen on hangers with the names 'Millie', 'Moxxie', and 'Aiden' on sticky notes attached to them.
Ayden's tail started twitching and puffing up in agitation at the sight of the suits as Moxxie pulled out his and Millie's to question,
"How exactly do you know our sizes, Sir?"
"Cause he goes through your closet when yer not home?" Ayden theorized with a shrug as she took her suit in one paw, shaking off her moment of inner turmoil, before ripping the sticky note off with her free paw and telling Blitzø, "My name's with a 'y', not an 'i' bt dubs and there's no way I'm wearin' this stiff's suit."
Crinkling up the sticky note while dropping the suit onto the floor before crossing her arms and looking at Blitzø since it was just him and her in his office right now after Millie and Moxxie went off to change into their suits.
"For fuck's sake fine but you have to wear the bowtie at least." Blitzø rolled his eyes at Ayden's pickiness before bargaining with/ordering her.
"Fine then…" Ayden begrudgingly agreed looking through her suit's pocket she found the bowtie he was talking about and her eyes went nearly shut in a deadpan glare when she saw the large silver bell at the center of the larger bowtie.
"Yer jokin' right?"
"Nnnnnnope! And you already agreed to wear it!" Blitzø dragged out before popping the p with a shit-eating grin on his face before pointing out her deal that made Ayden seethe before she unenthusiastically pulled the damn thing on over her choker, covering it completely, the little bell making itself known within seconds making her growl in annoyance,
*Ting a ling*
"Grrrr…"
"Awww I just wanna scoop you up and hug ya!" Millie gushed from behind her and Ayden whirled around to see the couple back from changing with Millie's eyes wide and filled with hearts and stars while Moxxie was struggling not to laugh.
"Shuddup!" Ayden stomped past them to grab her weapons and satchel, but the bell tinkling around her neck made it nearly impossible to take her seriously as the four of them headed out to Blitzø's van that had the I.M.P. logo spray painted on the side.
After a quick drive over to the Goetia mansion, Ayden was sitting in the back row with her feet propped up against the front passenger's seat while Millie and Moxxie sat next to her with Blitzø driving.
As they waited for Stolas and his daughter, Ayden quietly asked Millie,
"Hey where is Loo Loo Land?"
"It's in the Greed Ring, you've never been?"
A slight shock went through Ayden at the thought of traveling to another Ring since she'd only ever been in the Pride one but she quickly shook it off as she answered,
"Wa'n't really allowed to leave mah home much before I left and moved here."
"Oh…" Millie looked concerned but Ayden lucked out from having to say anymore as Stolas and his daughter came walking out from the mansion.
'Huh so that's the guy who can't shuddup 'bout Blitzø?' Ayden thought to herself as she noticed how Stolas was wearing a white graphic t-shirt with a picture of an apple on the front along with red shorts before her attention soon turned to his daughter walking out next to him.
She was also an owl demon with shaggy feathery hair under a black beanie with a tiara on it wearing a long-sleeved pink dress with yellow star designs on it, a matching choker, black leggings that went into heeled boots, and a black shawl over the whole thing.
Ayden raised a brow when she saw the girl glower at her dad as he waved to Blitzø and called out,
"~Oh Blitzyyyyyy!~"
"Just get the fuck in already before I fucking change my mind!"
"Of course my darling little-Oh dear!" Stolas started to tease before he opened the door closest to Ayden and saw her sitting there making him jump back a bit in surprise.
"Sup…" Ayden gave a lazy wave to the two of them that Octavia returned before Stolas pulled her away slightly to stutter out,
"Blitzy I umm.. I was unaware you had a.. feline.. join your ranks."
Making Ayden narrow her eyes at him as she demanded with her eyes glowing slightly,
"Ya got somethin' 'gainst me ya overgrown drongo?!"
"Nonono! Of course not hehe… I just-"
"Pfft!" Ayden snorted before laughing a bit as she told him, "'m jus' joshing ya, no need to get yer knickers in a twist."
"Relax she knows to keep her claws to herself." Blitzø tried to assure Stolas and Ayden unsheathed her claws a bit with a teasing smirk to show the broken tips before casually picking at her fangs before he added, "Most of the time.. alright get your ass up here you little shithead."
Adding the last part to tell Ayden to sit up front to put Stolas at ease a bit more and to keep him from taking the front seat so the cat demon scooted up front, scaring Stolas a bit with a little hiss as she moved.
Once Stolas and Octavia went to squeeze into the back row, more so on Stolas's part because of his height, the van sped off toward Loo Loo Land.
In the drive over, Ayden's ear twitched when she heard a song coming from Octavia's headphones and caught some of the lyrics,
It's black and gray,
I hate you, dad.
You'll never change
You'll only lie

The lyrics made her tail twitch and puff up again for the second time in a day and Ayden was quick to grab it to smoothen it back down reflexively with one hand while the other went to touch the locket on her choker underneath the bowtie but Octavia seemed to notice for a split second before they arrived at the vehicle accessible Ring elevator.
Once they got on and the elevator started going down to the Greed Ring, Ayden felt her stomach begin to pinch and gurgle before an acidy spicy taste filled her mouth and she retched as she held a hand to her mouth just as vomit filled it with Blitzø yelling,
"Out the window! Out the window!"
"Bleh!" Ayden puked out the window and heaved for a bit before it finally stopped and she wiped her mouth before her eyes snapped open to reveal that her puke had melted through the elevator floor like lava.
Snapping back into her seat, Blitzø questioned,
"The fuck was that?!"
"I get travel sick alroight?!" Ayden snapped back defensively before the elevator dinged and let them drive out.
Even with a narrow-eyed glare, Blitzø thankfully dropped it and nobody else wanted to bring it up before the van jolted to a stop in the empty parking lot for the Loo Loo Land theme park.
Millie, Moxxie, and Ayden all got out first to make sure the area was secure before Moxxie opened the doors for Stolas and Octavia, the former excitedly going over to a stall at the front gate to get an apple hat for himself before gesturing to the park for his daughter to follow him but she groaned and pulled her beanie over her face as she followed him.
As Blitzø and Stolas were walking side by side into the park, Blitzø felt the need to remind him,
"Now, remember: this is work and work only. Me and my crew are not here to satisfy your perverted bird needs, alright?"
Making Ayden grimace in disgust that Octavia seemed to match as she started to ask her dad,
"Hey... Dad... Do we have to-?"
Before Blitzø cut her off with,
"Okay, yeah. Hold on right there, sweetie." Turning to Stolas to point at him while hiss-whispering, "If you try fuckin' my little ass in that park, I swear to-"
"You are so cute when you are ~serious~!" Stolas spoke in a teasing voice as he stroked a finger down Blitzø's face making him look slightly embarrassed.
"I'm literally gonna be sick…" Octavia groaned and Ayden matched it with a mumbled,
"Ditto…"
"Oh, crumbs! I knew today would be a lot! What do you need?!" Moxxie cried out in panic before he started fishing around a fanny pack he was wearing, tossing out pill bottles as he listed off, "Anti-acids? Ibuprofen? Morphine?"
The last option being a bunch of hypodermic needles full of glowing, acid-green liquid that made Ayden jump away rapidly in a 'get it away from me' pose with her tail puffed up as far as it would go and her wide eyes became sliver thin slits.
"That was figurative, old man." Octavia rolled her eyes at the obvious before walking off with Ayden following slightly behind her as Moxxie chuckled sheepishly,
"Oh, right."
Tossing the needles into a nearby stroller where a baby was inside ready to play with his new "toys" as Moxxie spoke under his breath that only Ayden really heard,
"But, she said it was literal."
"Is he always that much of a square?" Octavia asked Ayden and she sped up a bit to walk alongside her before she shrugged and answered,
"Pre'y much."
"Well, hey there!" A guy dressed as a janky giant smiling apple suddenly appeared in front of them all making Moxxie jump back in terror as he screamed,
"AAAAAH!"
"I'm Loo Loo! Welcome to Loo Loo Land! If y'all get hurt here, just try and sue us!" The apple mascot announced making Stolas pull Octavia close, away from Ayden, as he gasped,
"Look! Via! It's Loo Loo!"
"I have a question." Octavia spoke up and Loo Loo turned back to her with one of his eyeballs dangling out of the costume's socket as he told her,
"Well, ask away, little girlie! A-hyuk a-hyuk a-hyuk!"
"Is it true this park is just a really shameless spin-off of Lucifer's far more popular Lu Lu World?" She questioned with a smug, knowing smirk.
"No?" Loo Loo answered in a beat tone that she met with a disappointed,
"This place reeks of insecure corporate shame."
Causing Stolas to chuckle nervously as he led Octavia away to suggest,
"Why don't we go check out the rides?"
Leaving I.M.P. behind with Loo Loo as he commented,
"That chick's creepy, huh?"
"Eh, wait till her dad tries to diddle your holes." Blitzø told him walking away as Loo Loo asked Millie, Moxxie, and Ayden,
"What's that mean?"
"Don't talk to me! I know you're a pervert under there!" Moxxie commanded, poking the guy's suit before he led Millie away leaving just Ayden there to hear Loo Loo say,
"Yeah…"
"Ugh!" Ayden made a disgusted noise before running to catch up with Millie and Moxxie as she was looking around excitedly and he was sweating and trying to catch his breath before asking his wife,
"You really like this place, huh?"
"I love this place! My parents would bring me and my siblings here when they could swing it. Money-wise." Millie admitted and Ayden frowned a bit at hearing about Millie and her family before Moxxie broke her out of her depressing train of thought as he pointed out,
"Yeaaaah.. The prices do seem rather criminal."
Referring to a gift shop where, in the front window, a bunch of apple-themed cups and plushies were on display with the cups costing 29 souls as he questioned incredulously,
"I mean, that much for a novelty cup that you use one time?"
"'Cause, it's Loo Loo Land!" Millie announced and Blitzø walked up to them having loaded up on merch, including a hat with attached can holders and straws and one of the novelty cups that he used to nudge Moxxie with as he told him,
"Listen to your hoe, Mox."
After taking another sip from his cup he suggested to the couple,
"How 'bout the kid and I take the first watch while you two have a little fun?"
The last part was said with a wink as Blitzø took off his sunglasses and Ayden gave him a 'what?!' look.
"OOOOOH! We gotta do my favorite ride!" Millie declared excitedly, picking up Moxxie over her head as she ran toward a roller coaster called "The Lawsuit" that had a sheer 90-degree drop at break-neck speeds while also lighting itself and the riders on fire all before violently plunging into a tunnel in the ground leaving Ayden with Blitzø as she whined,
"What?! I wanted ta try some o' the games!"
"You can do that on your own time!" Blitzø poked her nose making her snap at his finger before he added, "'Sides I need a buffer between me and Stolas and you seem to scare him off pretty easy."
"Fine but I be'er get a bonus for this if he sta'ts talkin' dir'y." Ayden huffed before pointing in Blitzø's face but he just laughed,
"HA! Ohhhhh you crack me up kid."
Flicking the bell on her bowtie to make it jingle,
*Ting a ling*
Just before pulling out his rifle and following Stolas and Octavia as they walked through the park taking up all kinds of positions around the stalls and booths to keep an eye on them while Ayden just walked behind them out in the open, nabbing a funnel cake from a stall that she munched on as she walked with a bored deadpan expression on her face that seemed to match Octavia's.
The sound of metal clinging made Ayden's ear twitch so she dropped her tray and ran to catch up with Blitzø as he was dragging himself across the ground before peeking into the dark space between a couple of booths.
"I def'nitly heard somethin'..." Ayden muttered before shifting to hellcat form, still with the bell bowtie around her neck, and jumping to the top of the stalls to get a better look around while, back on the ground, Stolas was flirting with Blitzø as he told him while bending over backward to his height to trace a finger down one of his horns,
"You know, it's quite thrilling to see you on the job, Blitzy."
"Save it, bitch. I'm working." He was quick to shut down his advances and Stolas stood back up as Octavia muttered,
"You both need to get a room."
"Or duck into the dunny for a quickie ta get it over with." Ayden's voice came from her hellcat form as she jumped down from the top of the stall to land in demon cat form next to Octavia with her arms casually behind her head.
"Hey, I am not a day hooker!" Blitzø protested making an imp woman with a baby on her back glare at him before he huffed at her while flipping her off,
"What? I just said I'm not one, prude!"
"Oh! Look, Via!" Stolas suddenly gasped pulling her into another hug as he excitedly pointed to a circus tent in the distance where another imp mother was trying to pull her crying son into the tent as Stolas reminisced wistfully, "You used to cry ~such tears of joy at this show~!"
"Oh, no…" Octavia looked more panicked than excited and whatever she was remembering must've happened to Blitzø too cause Ayden heard him mutter with Octavia,
"I hate that fucking clown."
"~Oh, Blitzy~ I need my bodyguard, please!" Stolas spoke in a pretty unconcerned voice as he was being captured, tied up, and held in the air by a bunch of imps who were all pointing various weapons at him and stealing his wallet before shoving a sack over his head.
All at once, Blitzø managed to shoot the torso of one imp that was about to strike a pitchfork down on Stolas sending blood spraying onto the sack on Stolas' head and Ayden managed to trap and rip out the heart of another imp that wasn't fortunate enough to get away after the others retreated.
Blitzø picked up Stolas to carry him into the tent with Octavia and Ayden, still holding her victim's heart in one paw, following behind before Octavia sat down so Blitzø could put Stolas down next to her and Ayden sat a row behind them as she began snacking on the heart while Octavia ripped the sack off her dad's head when he made no move to do so himself.
"Oh my!" Stolas gasped when he saw Ayden munching on an imp heart as casually as the other imp children eating their popcorn and gave a sardonic wave with her free paw and an inky blood-smeared smirk before the spotlights started waving around and directing toward the stage just as someone announced,
"Hey-hey-hey-hey-heyyyy, Implings! It's me, the Robotic Fizzarolli!"
Revealing an imp clown robot sparking and glitching every few seconds wearing a jester cap with bells, a lime ruffle, a black collar with bells below, a happy face on one shoulder and a sad face on the other, and a jumpsuit with red and dark teal stripes with yellow trim at the bottom along with neon hearts that announced,
"Shipped from Big Ozzie's factory to bring you a wonderful show celebrating Loo Loo Land, spelled with O's, to avoid lawsuits! H-H-H-H-H-Hit it!"
Snapping to make the lights turn off before more spotlights shone on him as he sang,
Loo Loo Land, Loo Loo Land!
The curtains opened to reveal the FizzaRolli 'n Friends animatronics that were horribly disfigured and each playing some kind of instrument as Robo Fizz continued singing,
Everybody sing along with the Loo Loo band
Robo Fizz pointed to people as he sang, backing off when he got too close to Stolas and Octavia making Blitzø turn his rifle on him and Ayden hiss at him so he could dash back to the stage to keep singing,

Robo Fizz grabbed a bunch of imp kids out of their seats to hug them all close before jumping up to twirl and toss them all back to the seats but none of them actually landed sitting,
Everybody's friendly,
Robo Fizz hugged the Big Woobly animatronic so hard his neck broke more than it already was,
And nobody is mean
After a hard slap to the back of the two-headed, banjo-playing bear animatronic that squirted a stream of oil into the face of an imp boy who was trying to listen to music on his phone, Robo Fizz poured gasoline over a large stack of cease and desist papers before throwing a match on them to set them ablaze,

Robo Fizz was seen posing on a piano that suddenly appeared and the whole scene seemed really familiar to Ayden for some reason as he continued singing,
I have a dream... (He has a dream)
I'm here to tell... (He's here to tell)
Before spinning around and launching up,
About a magical, fantastic place called Loo Loo Laaaaand!
Ayden was tapping her foot to the beat of the song but stopped when she noticed Octavia sitting there with a disgusted bored look on her face so she poked her back with her tail to whisper,
"How long does this go for?"
"Too long…" She muttered back with a disgruntled look.
Sure enough, five minutes later the song was still going with Stolas clapping happily along with it, Octavia was leaning with her head back and banging the space next to her with a fist, and even Ayden was pulling her hair over her ears as her tail whipped around sporadically before the song finally closed with,
Everybody sing along with the Loo Loo band! Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man loves Loo Loo Laaaaaaand!
The show ended with a small pyrotechnic display as Robo Fizz cackled maniacally.
"Ah hohohoho ho ho ho ho ho, how delightful!" Stolas cheered and clapped even harder while his daughter just pulled her beanie even further down over her face.
Ayden was banging her fists over her eyes wishing she could erase the whole thing from her memory when she felt movement on her left and looked in time to see an imp with a kris dagger about to stab Stolas in the back so her tail whipped out to grab him around the neck just before Blitzø blew his head off from where he'd been situated in the very back making all the other imps in the audience scream and run away in fear as Ayden dropped the body in disgust and started cleaning her tail of the imp blood.
"Oh, my! ~What good aim you have, Blitzy.~" Stolas spoke to Blitzø flirtatiously making Octavia snap furiously,
"Ugh! I can't do this anymore!"
Before she ran out of the tent with Stolas stuttering and running after her,
"Wait-Uh... Octavia!"
Just as Ayden and Blitzø were about to follow them though, Robo Fizz cackled while talking to Blitzø from the way he called out,
"Mua ha ha ha ha hoho-oh! Is that Blitzo my sensors spot up the-e-e-ere? I guess the kiddies are still running away from you, huh?"
"The 'o' is silent now!" Blitzø argued and Ayden hung back a bit to see what the heck was going on between the two of them and why Robo Fizz was pronouncing the 'o' in her boss's name.
"A-A-Awwwww, just like your audience always was when you to-told your lazy jokes here!" Robo Fizz taunted while jerkily dancing around before Blitzø took off his sunglasses to argue,
"Bitch, I make more money killing people than you do being a cheap-ass robo ripoff of an overrated sellout JESTER!"
"Oo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Someone's salty! Real or not, though, people lo-o-ove me! Does anybody love you... BLITZO?" Robo Fizz taunted Blitzø and Ayden felt a small surge of defensiveness rise up for her boss as she growled at the robot while Blitzø answered,
"No. But, I'm really good with guns now. Dance, bitch!"
Shooting at the robot but he just cartwheeled away leaving the shots to hit the animatronic band instead.
Just as Robo Fizz was rolling up the stairs in Blitzø's direction like some kind of high-powered wheel, Ayden leaped up to scratch at the robot but ended up getting caught in the spin that trapped Blitzø as well before they were both shot up and out of the tent, Blitzø in one direction and Ayden in another.
"MRROOOWW!" Ayden yowled before catching a hanging line to swing and backflip over to the top of a building on all fours, sinking down to her stomach after a few seconds to catch her breath and complain, "'m so not gettin' paid 'nuff for this shite…"
Before she noticed something on the ground below and got up to jump down to take a closer look at it, revealing it to be a long gray feather that, after a long sniff to confirm it, her eyes lighting up a bright pinkish-orange for a second, belonged to Octavia.
Another quick sniff of the air revealed that the show tent she and Blitzø were launched from was now on fire with green flames, with a distinct idea of how it happened, and imps rushing to get out of the park and she realized she needed to get Octavia out of there as soon as possible.
Going inside the Fun House, she sniffed the air to continue following Octavia's scent, going down a slide, weaving through some swinging pendulums and spiked columns before finding herself in a dimly lit room where four apple carts were lazily spinning around in circles, one of which had sniffles coming from within.
Once the apple cart Octavia was on came back around, Ayden leaped onto the top of it with her bell giving her away.
*Ting a ling*
"Heya Princess!" Ayden dipped down to hang upside down in front of Octavia with her tail anchoring her to the top of the rail car so she could dip down and stay attached while the ride was moving.
"*Sniff* Go away…" Octavia sniffed and spoke in a teary voice as she buried her face in her knees.
"Tsss yeah sorry but I can't, yer dad asked my boss and us to guard him and yerself and the others are busy sooooo I kinda gotta stay." Ayden shrugged.
Abruptly, her ear twitched and she grabbed the edge of the ride so her tail could lash around the neck of a short imp who tried to dive down on them snapping it with a quick crack before she plunged her claws into his chest to remove his heart, dipping back down to show Octavia,
"See?"
She looked a bit disturbed at the sight before relenting,
"Fine, you can stay…"
"Heh…" Ayden gave a small laugh before planting her hands on the rail and doing a semi-backflip so she could sit on the edge the railing was on with her back facing Octavia as her tail wrapped around the railing to further anchor herself and she sat with one leg dangling and kicking around as the cart spun around and other was drawn up to her chest where she rested her arms and chin on top as she started to eat the heart.
There was a moment of silence before Ayden's cat ear twitched from hearing Octavia murmur,
"What does he see in that red dickhead…?"
"Honestly, no idea, hell I can barely stand the guy on the best o' days…" Ayden answered indifferently as she finished up the heart and wiped her bloody paws on her shorts.
"Then why do you do what he says?"
Ayden frowned, her tail twitching even from where it was currently tied, before she admitted,
"Cause I don't really got no one else… this team… 't's all I really have that's mine…"
"What…?"
Ayden slightly tilted her head back to make eye contact with Octavia before turning back to explain,
"My dad left me and my mum when I was just a baby, 'fter that, my mum sta'ted seein' other men, one 'fter the other, 'ventually sta'ted treatin' me like a little monsta holdin' her back, so… I left.. found somewhere else ta live and got this job wi'h others who drive me batshit crazy most days but… 't's almost like havin' a real family…"
There was another moment of silence with Ayden smiling ruefully toward the end of her explanation as Octavia processed all that before asking,
"Your mum cheated on your dad?"
"Don't know if it was really 'cheatin' cause they weren't eva married but yeh… least both o' your folks are still 'round…" Ayden told Octavia with a slight head tilt that she responded with a despondent,
"For now…"
Ayden's ear twitched from hearing someone else enter the building and getting closer, but, just as she was reaching for her satchel on her back where her chain dart and weapon heads were, she heard the clicking of talons against the tile floor and smelled another owl demon approaching, signaling that it was Stolas so she fully turned around to face Octavia as she suggested,
"Look, I know I don't got much right to talk 'bout dads when I never had one but, for what it's worth, I think your dad's pre'y alright.. Maybe you should.. I dunno.. hear him out?"
"Octavia…" Stolas was seen at the entrance to the room and Ayden scooted away from Octavia before whispering to her,
"Jus' think 'bout it…"
And jumped off of the cart to stroll past Stolas with an unreadable expression and hide in the shadows of the doorway as Stolas discarded his hat, which had somehow changed its grin to a frown as he went to sit next to his daughter and spoke as more of a statement than a question,
"I take it you are.. not having fun..."
"I didn't even want to come here!" She retorted tearfully before her father apologized,
"I'm sorry, sweetie... I... I thought you loved it here..."
Pretty soon their conversation faded into the background as Ayden started thinking back to the last time she had a talk with her mom…
'Why can't I leave?!'
Ayden leaned against the wall, clutching her head in one hand while the other clenched her bowtie hard enough to pull it off and crush the bell in her grip before she slid down to the floor as the voices in her head got louder,
'You know why! We can't risk-!'
'Risk what?! Me hurtin' 'nyone?!'
'Yes! Cause you're a monster!'
'Screw you!'
*SMACK*
*KRSH*
She flinched just before she opened her eyes back up as Stolas' voice came through the fog in Ayden's mind,
"You were right. You are too old for it, anyway."
He strode past her carrying Octavia in his arms and Ayden wiped her tearing eyes with one hand before they could fall while the other laid against the curve of her skull where, on the line between the shaven part of her head and where her hair grew out, several small, intersecting scars were seen preventing hair from growing there.
Once they made it further down the hallway, Ayden's ear twitched just as an imp carrying a switchblade dropped down to the floor in front of her, weapon poised to strike at Stolas but he turned his head 180 degrees and his eyes flashed red to turn the imp to stone just as Ayden slashed her claws down on the statue and some sparks ignited to make it explode in a mini detonation sending small bits of stone flying everywhere.
"Oh wow, 't's been a while since that's happen'd…" Ayden looked down at her claws as some sparks popped out matching the glow of the gemstone on her choker before they were extinguished in the air and the glow stopped.
"This has happened before?" Stolas questioned a bit unnerved at that confession from where he was standing with his head still on backwards before he turned slightly so he and Octavia could face her.
"Not like this…" Ayden admitted before sheathing her claws and making a move to walk out with the two of them when Stolas clutched his daughter closer, making Ayden stop before she conceded,
"Look I get it. Cat. Birds." She gestured to herself and the two of them when she emphasized their respective species before telling him, "But seriously if I wanted to hurt you all, I woulda dunnit already…"
Just before she pushed past him to walk outside where it was complete and utter chaos; green fire had set almost everything ablaze, people were screaming and trying to get out of the park, and in the middle of it all Blitzø, Millie, and Moxxie were fighting Robo Fizz with Moxxie riding on the back of a dragon that tossed the robot into the air before swallowing him.
"Need I ev'n ask what the frick happened?" Ayden questioned walking out of the park, snagging an only slightly burnt Loo Loo plushie on the way out, with Stolas and Octavia not too far behind as he asked her,
"So, what would you like to do now?"
"Oh, can we go to Stylish Occult? They sell weird taxidermy there." Octavia suggested and Stolas answered somewhat hesitantly,
"Hmmm, okayyyyy…"
"Thanks, dad. You're okay, sometimes." Octavia chuckled.
"Thank you, Via. Thank you…" Stolas leaned his forehead against Octavia's and, just as the scene was making Ayden think back to another time with her mom, a large explosion went off in the park behind them and Ayden looked up in time to see and dodge out of the way of Blitzø, Millie, and Moxxie falling from the sky screaming and smoking slightly as Moxxie yelled at Blitzø,
"Way to ruin another good thing, sir!"
"Worth it! That slutty toy clown had. It. Comin'!"
The two of them fell unconscious as a little black queef went to grab Millie by the hair to drag her off when it was stopped by Ayden shifting to hellcat form to hiss at it, sending it scurrying off before shifting back to ask herself,
"Now how the shite are we gonna get back…?"

3rd Person POV Somewhere Else…

A figure was moving around in a dimly lit room where multiple cats of all shapes, sizes, and colors were seen lounging around atop the various books and ancient-looking artifacts before they turned a TV on, as it flashed the Breaking News Headline "Loo Loo Land Goes up in Flames" as Tom Trench reported,
*-still no signs of the culprits who set the whole park on fire and frankly they probably won't anytime soon.*
Taking up the whole screen for a few seconds, some shaky footage that looked to have been taken by someone running from the flames showed up on the screen before switching to show Katie Killjoy as she started to cheer,
*Well good riddance to that cheap-ass-*
Only for the figure to pause the program and rewind to the found footage and step closer to the screen to examine a small blur in front of the Fun House as it looked like a hunched-over humanoid cat with glowing pinkish red eyes.
Placing a hand on the screen, the figure smirked ominously as their red eyes shone in the dark and spoke,
"Well how about that… the little hellspawn finally arrived…"

In all seriousness, thank you all so much for reading, leaving kudos, and adding this story to your libraries on all four platforms it's been published on, there were way too many to mention now but you all know who you are and I sincerely thank you for it ^^
Keeping the update streak going strong, I've almost finished The Harvest Moon Festival segment and honestly I'm shooting to be done with Season 1 and starting on Season 2 before Halloween so hopefully I'll be able to stick to that schedule.
Also, since it's now been a week (and a day) since Oops came out I just gotta say… Ozzie and Fizz are so cute! I loved all the little domestic moments between the two of them in the beginning and end and, while I am wondering if some people are right in saying that Ozzie is just a little too overprotective over Fizz with the whole "you won't have to leave here again" schpiel, I do like that they genuinely love and care for each other and am overjoyed that Blitzø and Fizz got to work through their bad blood after the emotionally disappointing meeting/reunion with Barbie Wire in the last episode… but seriously why couldn't Stolas know that Blitzø was also being held hostage so we could've seen him go full demon form again!
Overall it was an awesome episode, definitely one of my top three favorites for Season 2 and I'd love to hear from you all what you thought about it and what you think might happen in the next one "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)" right before what me and other people are hoping/dreading will be the Blitzø and Stolas talk in "The Full Moon…"
