A man and a woman, locked inside a room at the top of a tower, were worried about the city below them. The night made the atmosphere even more gloomy.

"Even today we live one more day," the woman said, worried.

Her concern was shared by the man.

"How long will it last?" the woman continued.

"It will last. I will make it so," the man replied. His hand held the hilt of the sword he was wearing on his side.

The woman turned to the man. "What do you want to do?"

"I made them a promise. I have to keep it, whatever it takes," he replied. "I want to travel to become stronger and to discover what no one has been able to see."

"Are you going to leave me?" the woman asked.

"This war is strange. It's as if it was steered," he said.

"Then, I'll come with you," the woman replied forcefully.

"No, this place needs its queen," he replied.

"It needs its king too," she replied.

The man shook his head and denied it. "I'm just a murderer. I killed too many people mercilessly to deserve that title, not that I ever cared about it."

"Many more would have died if you hadn't," the woman said, trying to convince him.

He turned to the woman and gave her a sweet smile. "I only did it because I wanted to protect you." The man summoned a red and silver sword and handed it to her. "Even if you become a dragon, I will always believe in the person who has given me a purpose. I think it is time that you repay me."

"Yuto.. you..."

"I will find the cause and eliminate it. Then we-"

TONK!

Massaging the back of his neck, Yuto realised that he had another dream. Unlike last time, however, this was strange. The redheaded woman looked like Erza, however, he did not know who she was. He did not know her, or at most, he did not remember having ever met her. It meant that she wasn't supposed to be an important person and yet seeing her caused a strange twinge in his chest.

Cough.

Yuto looked up and only now he realised that Erza was staring at him.

"Ten times."

Yuto blinked quickly. "What?"

"I tried to wake you ten times," Erza said, annoyed.

Yuto remembered now and felt an embarrassment he had never felt before. He had lost consciousness due to motion sickness.

"I am sorry," Yuto said, pinching his neck. "If you came to wake me, does that mean we have arrived?"

Erza nodded.

Yuto sighed relieved. He would finally get off that hellish ship.

Galuna was an island of no importance. It was not located in a strategic position that the Kingdom of Fiore or the Magic Council could exploit militarily and it was a tourist destination. It was just a small island with the shape of a lunar clove located in the middle of the sea.

"Erza, you feel it, don't you?" Yuto asked.

Erza nodded. "Something evil lurks here."

But precisely because it was mistreated by everyone that made it an ideal place for the dark guilds and Yuto had come to think that the S-Rank came from the fact that a pillar of the Balam Alliance had built its secret base there.

"Let's split up," Erza said as they landed.

"Be careful," Yuto recommended.

Erza nodded and they parted.

Yuto could not understand exactly but that dream was vivid in his mind. What surprised him most was the extreme resemblance the woman had with Erza. He doubted that it was something related to his kind of clairvoyance since it did not seem connected to the Holy Grail War.

Normally a dream didn't upset him much, but this time it was different. He had a sword that was most fond of him: Clarent: Radiant and Brilliant Royal Sword. It was the symbol of his promise to Mordred and a reminder to go on and become a better person. However, that sword was gone and Yuto didn't know who stole it or where it went. In the dream, however, he gave Mordred's sword to the woman, an action that he would never have done if she wasn't really important.

Who was that woman? Was she still alive? And, above all, what was her connection with him?

Focus. He slapped his face as he realised he had become a little obsessed.

"Found him." Yuto thought.

He hid behind a bush and observed the situation from behind a bush.

Natsu was in the centre of the crater fighting two guys. One looked like a chimaera. He had the face and ears of a dog while the other had thick blue hair and thick black eyebrows. They were Yuka Suzuki and Toby tHortona, two magicians serving the Sub-Zero Emperor.

"Do you think you can beat both of us?" the man with the thick eyebrow asked with an arrogant grin.

"..." Natsu replied with silence.

"We used to be part of an important guild once. Its name is Lamia Scale, you must have heard of it. "Iron Rock" Jura is also part of it-"

Yuka stopped talking and grimaced as he used his Wave magic to block Natsu's burning fist.

"You could let people finish talking," Yuka said indignantly.

"I don't care," Natsu said, staring at the grinning anti-mage.

They could be mages of the most important guild in the world, prominent members of the nobility or members of the Magic Council, he couldn't care less. They were trying to awaken a thousand-year-old demon, tried to kill the villagers, and were interfering with his work. They were his enemies in the end.

Natsu's defiant air annoyed the thick-browed man. "Toby, don't interfere. I'll take care of him."

The dog man, Toby, growled.

"Wave."

The space in front of him vibrated, blocking Natsu's fist.

"It's useless. My magic nullifies all other magic." The smile on Yuka's face became more pronounced. "If you'd let me finish, you'd know that my role in Lamia Scale was anti-wizard."

"If magic doesn't work, there's always the classic solution. I hit with a normal well-placed punch."

Natsu did not understand why he heard Yuto's voice, however, it was a piece of advice worth following. He loaded his fist under the incredulous glances of Yuka and Toby and went through Yuka's magic, however, the vibrations were traumatic.

"This is even more useless. Not only will your magic not work at all now, but you risk losing your arm too," Yuka said. "Once you're out of the way, the Sub-Zero Emperor can finally awaken Deliora and defeat him."

Deliora was the demon that was sealed in ice by Gray's teacher. Natsu knew his history, the sacrifice of Ur and the fact that Gray blamed himself for her death.

"He has revealed the secrets of his magic. Use them to your advantage. Use yours from the outside."

Natsu gritted his teeth. A magic circle widened at the end of his elbow.

"Fire Dragon's Elbow!"

The fire used as a propeller allowed Natsu's fist to reach Yuka's face, throwing the enemy away from him. Natsu took a deep breath as he watched Yuka's unconscious body.

"Hey, Yuto, do you think you can get out now?" Natsu turned to Yuto.

Yuto went out and stared at Natsu. "How did you know where I was?" he asked as he blocked Toby in a cage of swords.

Yuto was sure he had done a good job of hiding, only to reveal his presence when he opened a mental channel with Natsu to guide him. He had concealed his magical energy and had been far enough away so that the human eye could not capture his presence. So he was curious as to how Natsu had discovered his location.

"I smelled you as well as Erza," Natsu replied. "I guess you're here to bring us back."

"You guessed it, so don't waste my time and come on the ship with me now," Yuto said with his arms crossed to his chest.

"NEVER!" Natsu shouted indignantly.

"You. will. do," Yuto said in monosyllabic language. "I tell you reasonably, but when Erza comes, she will not be kind."

Natsu shivered at the idea of having to suffer Erza's punishment. It would be comparable to hell.

Yuto landed in the crater, a few steps from the Fire Dragon Slayer. "Natsu, where are the others?"

"Gray's in the village. He's hurt badly, but he's not risking it. Lucy got in trouble and Happy ran after her," Natsu answered.

"Okay, where did they go?" Yuto asked him later.

"Towards the beach," Natsu replied.

Yuto nodded. It was the direction Erza had gone, so she could take care of them. "Bring me to the village. I'll heal Gray and-"

Yuto froze when he felt something sinister and something he had felt before.

"What's going on?" Natsu asked, noting the sudden alarmism on Yuto's face.

"We are not alone," Yuto said, turning towards Natsu. "Go to the village as soon as possible and get ready to leave."

"But..."

"DON'T ARGUE!" Yuto growled, his eyes alternating from green to gold like a traffic light.

Natsu shaked like a leaf. Fuck if Yuto was scary. He looked like Erza but much more threatening when he was angry.

Lucy was terrified at Erza's icy gaze.

"You're in a lot of trouble," Erza said, tightening her grip on Happy's tail. "You took an S-rank quest without permission, betraying the master's trust."

"I know and I can understand that we will be punished, yet this island and its inhabitants are in danger," Lucy said, trying to leverage Erza's feelings. "This guy, the Sub-Zero Emperor, is trying to undo a spell and resurrect a demon."

"I don't care," Erza said, cutting it short. "Whoever decides to take over the mission will take care of it. You are going back to Fairy Tail with me."

"You can't do that!"

"Can't I?" Erza dangerously narrowed her gaze to Lucy.

Lucy trembled. It wasn't long before she joined the guild but she had learned about Erza during Eisenwald's work. Hard and inflexible, when she said something she didn't change her mind.

"Erza."

"I said no."

"No, Erza! Watch behind you!"

Erza turned and saw strange beings she had never seen before. They looked like black jellies with a pair of blood-red eyes staring at her. Being in their presence made Erza shiver.

"So that's what I felt." Erza turned and saw Yuto arrive. "Of all possible creatures, that's it."

"Phantasmal species," Yuto replied. "I will destroy them."

A silver and blue sword appeared in his hands.

"Erza, take a step back."

The blade ignited entirely and incredibly Yuto didn't seem to feel the effects while Lucy, Happy and Erza felt so hot that it seemed to be in the presence of the sun itself.

"Excalibur Galatine."

He swung it horizontally, hitting all the Wraith whose bodies dissipated into black particles of magical energy.

"Where is Natsu?" Erza asked.

"I hear Gray is hurt. I sent him to the village to protect Gray in case there were more," Yuto replied, also considering that those Phantasmal species were not the only threats on that remote island. "You go too."

"What do you want to do?" Happy asked.

Yuto disappeared from everyone's eyes. It wasn't that he had used any teleportation magic or anything, but he had moved so quickly that the human eye couldn't follow him until they heard a deaf thud and some sort of cannonball fell to the ground.

A crater formed on impact and a man with a white mask on his face was in the middle. He had a rather humpy posture, wearing a black, torn cloak and a tight-fitting black suit underneath. He had one black lacquered knife in his hand, while the other arm wasn't visible.

"How did you find me?" the bogeyman asked, dismayed.

"Who knows how I did that?" Yuto answered rhetorically. "Who are you? Cursed Arm? Hundred Faces? Serenity? Or are you one of the other nineteen Hassans?"

"Don't think I'll tell you," Assassin replied.

"No, you won't." Yuto made Excalibur Galatine vanish and traced Kanshou and Bakuya, the married swords of Yin and Yang. "I don't care to know because I'm going to kill you here and now."

Yuto glanced at Erza, Lucy, and Happy and grimaced. "Are you still here? Didn't I tell you to go? You fools hurry up and leave now."

Erza looked at Yuto's face and saw all the seriousness.

"What are you waiting for?! Get out of here, Irene!" Yuto shouted, shaking her from her thoughts.

Yuto opened his eyes wide. Why did he call Erza by that name? It was his impulsive instincts that made him say that name. He knew that she was Erza and no one else, but

Memories foreign to him and the presence of a Servant there. Everything was such a blur and he did not understand what was happening to him, however, he really didn't have the luxury of thinking about extra things.

"You have to come back alive, do you hear me?"

Yuto smiled slightly as Erza dragged Lucy and Happy away. So he could be unleashed to his heart's content.

Yuto raised both swords and stood up. "Are you ready, Cursed Arm?"

The Servants were historical and legendary figures who had indelibly carved the history of mankind. They were Heroic Spirits summoned by the Magi to take part in the Holy Grail War under one of the seven standard classes.

Saber, the Heroic Spirit of the Sword.

Archer, the Heroic Spirit of the Bow.

Lancer, the Heroic Spirit of the Lance.

Caster, the Heroic Spirit of Spells and Sorcery.

Rider, the Heroic Spirit of the Mount.

Assassin, the Heroic Spirit of Assassination.

Lastly, Berserker, the Heroic Spirit of the Berserker Rage.

The presence of a Heroic Spirit could mean one thing.

The Holy Grail War had been restarted.
