Chapter 4: Dragon Ahoy!
With Agatha, Business was off to a decent start with 2 new buyers.
"Welcome to your new home, if I may be so bold."
She welcomed her buyers and giving a tour.
"Oooh."
"This is incredible."
the clients looked around in awe.
"Oh you picked a great place to raise a kid, it's safe here at Cloudside, moving my family here was the best I decision ever made."
"Doug actually grew up here, were moving back so that we can be closer to his folks when the little one comes."
"Hello free Babysitter!"
Doug played around.
"Heh, how nice, just be careful they don't tell you how you should live your life or raise your children."
Agatha pointed out making the couple feel weird.
"I mean, it's nice to have family around, you're very lucky."
Agatha said with a sheepish smile, meanwhile Rudy made his way to the library opening it but, no go he opened the other one and made it in, looking for a place to hide pass all the prom stuff, he looked at his hand again, went down an Isle, and a used a cart to hide.
"Why am I glowing? glowing is not good! I'm never going to the clouds again, lesson learned!"
He said cover his hand with books and reaching for his phone.
"Call Mom."
"Video call: Kat."
"What!? I didn't say that! Call Mom!
"Rudy? Where'd you go?"
Kat answered.
"Oh! Hey."
He said looking chill.
"End call. End Call! END CALL!"
He angrily whispered.
"Wait! I wanna ask you something."
"Uhh, Going through a tunnel."
He said as he hung up.
"Call mom, No. I can't call Mom she's gonna kill me, but what other choice do I have? Literally, anything worse could happen in the next second."
He said looking down, then he looked up to see his legs slowly getting bigger, and then getting bigger faster showing red reptilian legs with a tail revealing itself.
"THERE'S A TAIL!?!?"
He said as they got bigger and bigger and he started to get big with both his hands glowing revealing claws.
"Oh, This is a Nightmare!"
He said as he got Bigger and Bigger, growing over library shelfs, and the more bigger he got, the more his skin turned red, then big horns came out of his head.
"Oh no no no no no no no no! Ahh!"
He screamed while on the other side the librarian heard noise.
"Hello?"
She walked around then saw something and gasped.
"Pride and prejudice? You're a long way from home, what are you doing in the true crime?"
She chuckled as she found a book on the floor, picked it up, and put it back, but it dropped again with a couple more, she picked one up but then noticed something else, she looked into a shelf and saw glowing scales, widening her eyes and slowly looking up, seeing a bigger and bigger thing, and putting on glasses, she saw a Giant Red head who saw her back.
"Uhh... Meow?"
And then...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
The Red head screamed back in a roar like tone.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
The librarian ran for the exit as the thing got even more bigger, stretching out, with the face hitting a window side and it was getting too big for the building.
"No no no no no! Ahh!"
It said was windows shattered, the Ceiling cracked and then, a Giant Red Creature, revealing it's wings, broke out of the library screaming, meanwhile with Captain Flight deck.
"Alot of you have been asking about my beard regimen-"
"Do you see that!?/What is that?"
A couple of tourists interrupted as one of them was videoing something behind the captain and everyone looked, then the captain turned and gasped.
"DRAGON!!! DRAGON AHOY!! IT'S BACK!! OHH IT'S COMING FOR ME!!"
He say as he grabbed a phone and pointed out that detail, back with the Dragon, Rudy looked down seeing everything above, looking scared, he tried to get out of there, his tail whacked parts the the library, causing more destruction and ran into the trees, the Librarian ran away with a cart of books passing Chester, who saw destruction and the gasped as Rudy hid in the trees looking up at prom balloons floating away, Rudy then looked down to see Chester seeing him, he yipes and hid more, feeling more scared, he need a better place to hide, he looked behind to see a tower that looked old and abondoned, so he started walking to get there while laying low.
Meanwhile back with Agatha, she opened the back door to reveal a nice view of Cloudside to her buyers.
"Ah, look at this view."
"Holy magoli, this is amazing."
The buyers said in awe.
"Whaddya think boo?"
"I think... We're Sold!"
"Oh! Fantastic, well I'll get the paperwork started and we'll get this done nice and easy so you can focus on your little one."
Agatha said as her Clients looked happy chatting to each other, she then saw something in the horizon, seeing Rudy pushing a tree out of the way and vanishing into a bunch more, Agatha then panically smiled and laughed nervously.
"You make sure you enjoy every minute of quiet you have left because once the baby comes, it is going to blow up you're whole life."
She said pushing her clients inside, she then got inside her car, and started to drive.
"Look around, get a feel for the place, just leave the key in the lockbox when you're done, or-or keep it, whatever, talk soon."
She drove off after tossing the key to her clients.
"Pick up Rudy, pick up. Oh, pick up Rudy, PICK UP!"
She sighed.
"Ok, Agatha, you can figure this out, everything is gonna be fine. AAAHH!! SON OF A TAILNUGGET!!"
She yiped as she ran something over and stopped and looked in her side mirror.
"Maybe it's just a traffic cone."
She looked worried as she got out of the car and saw the thing covered in a pile of leaves.
"Oh... no."
She walked over to the thing.
"Hello?"
She slowly tried to touch the thing, but then the thing slowly moved, getting itself up, surprising her, and it revealed to be a huge fat blue-ish green Dragon, shaking the leaves off his head and...
"HEYA SIS! Good ol' Uncle Brill's here to see his favorite nephew Rudy."
The thing said hugging Agatha, who looked more surprised.
"What!? Brill!?"
She said lifting it.
"Yeah."
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah..."
His head dropped and he lift it back up.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"I just hit you with a car."
"How do guys deal with the gravity differently down here on land? it's crazy right?"
He laughed, while Agatha looked worried.
"Anyways, I came to say congratulations, Rudy's all grown up and turned into a Giant-"
"SHHH!! Not so loud!"
She said covering his mouth.
"Come on!"
"Whoa, I see you still got that upper body strength, huh?"
He said as he was being dragged and pushed in the car and drove off, meanwhile Rudy appeared out of the trees.
"Ow! Are you kidding me!?"
He said as he stepped on a billboard, he then saw a highway with cars coming, looking down at trees and grabbing them to cover him, back with Agatha.
"What are you doing here, Brill?"
"We felt the pulse!"
"So Mom knows?"
She said looking more worried.
"Uhh Yeah, she sent me to get Rudy."
He said as Agatha groaned.
"This is exactly why he wasn't supposed to go in the clouds."
"Uhh, then why would you live next to it?"
"We needed to stay air moist."
"Eww! Moist."
"Where is he? Where Is He!? I need to hide him."
She said looking around for Rudy, Brill then looked up and out the car window and looked more surprised.
"Whoa-ho! Good luck hiding that."
He chuckled as Agatha looked and saw Rudy jumping over them making his way to the abandoned tower, she then followed him, and Brill was having a bumpy ride, Rudy made it to the place and hid behind it, then looked down and saw his Mom arriving.
"Oh no."
"Ru-"
"Brill, Stay!"
Agatha said as she closed the door in Brill's face and locked it, walking to Rudy.
"Rudolph Walter Scaleman, Come out here, we need to get you home right now!"
"But... I'm a... a Monster."
He said as it hurt Agatha to see him feeling this scared.
"Oh honey, you're not a monster, not even close."
She said as Rudy turned to look at her.
"I don't wanna yell, can we just talk? please, just talk to me."
She said as Rudy sent his hand down to her, she got on and was carried up to Rudy's face, who sighed.
"Hey, there's my Baby."
"Please don't be mad, I should've listened to you, but... I kinda-"
"Went into the clouds?"
She finished.
"I know, but right now I just wanna keep you safe honey, and that means getting you home."
"Mom, look at me."
He said as he looked at how big he is.
"I won't even fit inside our house anymore!"
He cried letting out water works.
"Hey hey, shh, you'll get small again, it just takes a little time, I'm here, I'll wait with you, I'm not going anywhere."
She said sitting on his hand as he tried to get it together.
"I'm really glad you're here Mom."
He said feeling relieved while Agatha looked down at houses.
"Do you remember when you found that egg at the park, that fell in front of you, and a Baby Falcon hatched out of it?"
"You mean, Sawyer H. Watterson?"
He sniffed.
"How could I forget? Sawyer H. Watterson, you brought him back up to his nest and sat with him for 7 hours, until it was time to leave, your dad had to get a latter just to get you out of that tree."
"Oh Yeah, I asked you if I could keep him."
He said as he slowly started to shrink.
"Where would we even have put him?"
"On the rooftop, the garage, come on, I would've taken care of him."
He continued shrinking faster.
"I know you would've."
She said as Rudy put her down, Agatha smiled has he shrunk more and more until he was back to his normal size.
"Yes! I'm normal. Well almost normal, Thank you."
He said as he hugged Agatha.
"Trust me, it's gonna be ok."
She hugged him back, and then Brill joined.
"Aww..."
He said as Rudy looked behind, jumped and hitted Brill in the face while Agatha softly facepalmed.
"Ooh, I see you got your Mom's arm strength."
"Mom... What... is HAPPENING?!"
He said as they got in the car and drove home.
