Not much to say here, let's get right into it. Hope y'all enjoy!

Once again, the familiar shot of Kihci Island appeared. "Ugh…." Blaineley sounded very groggy. "Umm…last time…on Total Drama…O-Omega." A series of shots of all the competitors going around the island were shown. "The competitors…I don't know, they talked? Wait, no. They…were tasked with looking for me, that's it. Umm…Brick and Jasmine bonded until they didn't (Brick being revealed to have voted for her), Dakota and…Tim formed an alliance, I think, and Dawn and Ella...well, they're happy with each other (Dawn admitting to a sleeping Ella she is in love with her). In the end, it was revealed that- and this was all planned, for the record- it was a non-elimination round, so no one went home."

The camera flashed to reveal Blaineley, holding a cup of coffee and looking very disheveled and wearing a bathrobe. "Jasmine almost did, thanks to Brick, so she's pissed at him. And that girl likes to hold a grudge, so Brick's got a big hole to climb out of. But will our next challenge involve holes?" She shrugged. "I don't know, I just really need this." She took a swig from her mug, then sighed contentedly. "Anyways, this is…Total…Drama…Omega!"

A loud stomping sound echoed around the island. Most of the Newbies were keeping their distance from whatever was making the noise. Evidently, it was Jasmine, who was absolutely furious. And who could blame her, she was almost eliminated not even an hour ago.

Confessional (Jasmine): "I can't believe I actually trusted that…that…Drongo! He lied to me. He could've easily told me he was voting for me and I would've understood." She thought to herself. "Ok, I would've been a little ticked off, but once I knew it was a non-elimination round I would've forgiven him, probably, but now…" She grunted. "I'm not letting him get away with this. Brick and Jo are going to pay for what they tried to do to me." In frustration, her arm shot out, punching a hole through the wall of the confessional.

Confessional (Sky): She was surprised by the sudden hole, but it quickly turned to a look of uncertainty. "Dave…voted for Jasmine…because he thought it would make me feel better." She sat in silence. "Maybe…no, I shouldn't think about that."

Static

Sky sped ahead and went up next to Jasmine. She could see that her teammate was still visibly upset. The Olympian took a deep breath. "Hey…Jasmine." She said quietly.

"What do you want?" Came the blunt reply.

"I…wanted to see how you were doing."

"How do you think I'm doing?!" Jasmine shouted. "I was almost voted off today and…" She grunted. "Why do you care anyways?"

Sky considered her response. "I want to be honest with you. Our team needs to be ready for tomorrow's challenge." Jasmine cast a dark glare. Sky noticed it, but continued. "And I just want to see how you're doing. I'd be upset too if I was almost eliminated by someone I trusted."

The aussie looked down at her teammate. "Why didn't you vote for me?"

Sky blinked. "What?"

"Ever since you got Beardo eliminated, I've been at your throat for this entire time and, despite that, you didn't vote for me."

"I think you're a valuable asset. You're strong, athletic and you do a lot for the team."

"This close to the merge, and you think it's a good idea to keep me around?"

"What can I say?" Sky shrugged. "I want to go against the best people here."

Jasmine considered what her teammate was saying. Then another thought crossed her. "So…you actually feel bad about what you did to Beardo?"

Sky sighed. "Yeah, I do. I don't know if you know this, but…he talked to me about going on a run. I was surprised that he wanted to do something like that, but I figured, since he didn't faint, he had some untapped potential that could help the team. I…guess I got ahead of myself. I didn't want to vote for him, but…I figured it was best for the team's success."

Jasmine felt her anger subside. She looked at the ground, as she walked. "I…I actually did know about that."

Sky stopped. "You…you knew Beardo talked to me?"

"He…talked to me first." She tried not to sound awkward. "It was actually my idea for him to talk to you. I wanted to get through to you about…well, your attitude towards the team. To maybe make you realize they're more capable than you think."

The Olympian's mouth hung open. "I…I had no idea."

Jasmine still felt extremely awkward.

"What did you guys talk about?"

The Aussie blinked. "What?"

"What did you guys talk about? Like, interests or…hobbies or…something."

"Why do you want to know?"

"I know he's gone, but…a part of me really wished I could've talked to him more. I only knew he made sound effects and liked a lot of music."

"What does that matter? He's gone, it won't help us."

"It might help you." Sky suggested. Jasmine was surprised. "Since you guys were friends, maybe talking about him might calm you down."

Jasmine didn't know what to say. For all she knew, this could've been a trap. But seeing the look on Sky's face didn't raise any suspicions. She gave a heavy sigh. "I'm probably going to regret this." She mumbled to herself. She then turned to her teammate. "Fine…when we get to the cabin, we'll talk."

Sky smiled. "Thank you, Jasmine." She then backed off.

The Aussie was still debating if she was making the right choice.

Dawn was pacing outside her cabin. She was in a huge state of worry and it wasn't hard to figure out why.

Confessional (Dawn): "Why? Why am I letting my emotions get in the way of helping Ella? I mean…it would be unhealthy of me to deny my own feelings and…" She sighed. "I don't know what to do. I love Ella truly, but…she needs to let it all out. I'm just glad she didn't hear me."

Static

Meanwhile, in the Newbies cabin, the girls were getting ready for bed. Or, at least, they would be but Sky and Jo were watching Ella daintily dance and twirl around their room, all while singing a song to herself.

Both her teammates shared looks of confusion. "Yo, Princess Diarrhea. You good?"

Ella continued dancing. "Oh, I'm not good. I'm great."

"That's nice." Sky chuckled. "But why though?"

The fairytale princess thought of what to say for a moment, then she smiled. "Just in a good mood, I guess. And I…love being in a good mood."

Night time soon turned into morning as the competitors started waking up. But, they were in for a surprise, when their eyes opened.

"What the-?!" Jasmine shot up.

Her outburst caused the others to awake as well. And they were equally surprised. All were in their PJs and all were in an unknown room, with gray walls, a TV on one of them and a few doors behind them on another wall.

Brick went to open one, only to find a small room with a mirror.

The TV turned to static, as everyone turned. "Good morning, everyone." Blaineley's face appeared on the screen. She was in a hot tub, with a drink by her side. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions about where you are-"

"Where the heck are we?" Jo asked

"How did we get here?" Topher noted

"I was in a tree." Jasmine said. "How-"

"And the best answer I can give you," Blaineley said. "Is that, I don't know. I told the interns to move you all, so since you just woke up, I assume they just moved you or something." She took a sip of her drink and sighed. "Anyways, before I explain your challenge for today, I will allow this time for you to change and eat breakfast. The rooms behind you are changing rooms that contain your clothes. After you all change, the interns will bring in your breakfast. After that, the challenge will begin. Now, if you'll excuse me-" The screen suddenly cut to black.

Everyone looked at each other, all confused. Nevertheless, they headed towards the changing rooms.

Brick was the first to speak. He looked at one of his teammates. "Hey, Jasmine, I just wanted to say I'm-"

"Save it." The Aussie wasn't even looking at him. "I don't want to hear anything you have to say."

"But…but my code says-"

Jasmine suddenly shot a look at the cadet. Brick felt his blood run cold. "I know about your code. That's not my problem. My problem was you not telling me what you were doing." Brick opened his mouth, but didn't say anything. He didn't have a defense. Jasmine turned and went over to the changing rooms.

Jo watched this happen.

Confessional (Jo): "As much as I would love to rub it in Bricky Boy's face, I need to keep my distance. No way he's given up on her yet and if I keep trying to convince him, that might make him try harder." She grunted. "Stupid host lady. I was this close to getting Aussie Aussie Aussie out of here."

Static

While the competitor ate their breakfast and changed, the door leading to the outside suddenly opened. A figure was tossed inside and landed on the floor. "No!" Max screamed as he ran back towards the door. It closed before he could escape and he slammed face first into it. He turned around, carefully examining his surroundings.

Ella was enjoying her fruit cup when Sky went up to her. "Oh, Sky." Ella covered her mouth. "How can I…" She swallowed. "How are you?"

The Olympian seemed uneasy and sighed. "I'm…good, Ella. I just wanted to see if I…made you uncomfortable yesterday."

Ella raised an eyebrow. "When did you do that?"

"When I…asked you about your mother yesterday? I know it was out of nowhere and I'm seriously sorry if I crossed a line."

Ella didn't answer immediately. She actually did feel a little uncomfortable. But looking over the other team briefly gave her the confidence to speak. "T-Thank you, Sky. I appreciate it. I accept your apology."

The Olympian smiled and went to get some food. Little did either of them know, Dave was watching the whole thing.

Confessional (Dave): "So, Sky's only here for the competition, right? So…what was that about? Did she really need a reason to…I don't know, make her teammate happy? I mean, she didn't do it when I felt uncomfortable…" He trailed, thinking to himself. He exhaled. "Maybe, she was just trying to get Ella to focus on the challenge. I mean…yeah, that's it." He was having trouble convincing himself.

Static

"Ha!" Max grabbed a tray of croissants and started throwing them at Scott. "You think you can disguise yourself, she-devil?!"

"We've been over this!" Scott ducked as he tried to escape.

Topher watched on, realizing it was the perfect opportunity to talk to Lightning.

"Yo, Lightning. You got a minute?" The mega jock turned, so Topher leaned in and whispered. "I've been thinking that you need an ally and-"

"Stop right there." Lightning put up a finger to Topher's lips. "Lightning don't need an ally, he didn't need one then and he don't need one now."

"But what if people think you're a threat and vote you off?"

"Then Lightning just won't lose."

"But we've already lost half of our team."

"And Lightning's still here." The mega jock grinned proudly. "You see, no one's noticed Lightning because he's mastered the art of standing completely still, making him invincible to the human eye." As if for emphasis, he stood dead in his tracks and ceased movement.

Topher blinked and stared at the 'invisible' Lightning. He needed him in his alliance. Thankfully, he had another idea. "Alright, Lightning- wherever you are- maybe you don't need an ally. But maybe, for an athlete like yourself, you need a cheerleader to-"

"Lightning's in." The mega jock said quickly.

Topher was caught off guard. "O-Oh…great, that's…that's great. You won't regret it." And he walked off happily.

He passed by Dakota and gave her a thumbs up. Dakota didn't acknowledge it. Dawn walked up to her. "Dakota, I-"

"I don't want to talk right now." The ex-mutant walked away.

Dawn sighed.

After a while, with everyone changed and breakfast in their bellies, the TV showed Blaineley, now standing in her usual red dress. "Alright, now that you know what the doors behind you lead to, it's time to find out what the doors on my side open up to." She gestured towards them. "This room is where your the fun will begin. It's an escape room challenge. How it works is, you open the door on this wall, left for Newbies, right for Rookies, and you'll be in the first challenge room, where you'll have to solve a puzzle to get to the next room, where you'll do the same thing with a slightly different puzzle. The next puzzle will not start until all competitors of that team have entered the new room. Once you pass the fifth room, you'll reach the outside. Once all team members have made it to the outside, they'll be declared the winners. And, this time, the losing team will be sending someone home." Jasmine cast a glare in Brick's direction. "Challenge starts in two minutes." The screen flicked to black.

Both teams quickly huddled up. "I think I can handle this challenge." Scott said. "Getting locked in a barn too many times has taught me to always be aware of your surroundings and use what you can."

Dawn looked uncertain, but didn't say anything.

Confessional (Dawn): "I know Scott had something to do with Dakota hating Zoey…" She sighed. "But, right now, I can't say anything. Dakota likely doesn't trust me and Scott is being an asset to the team. I can only hope his vile plot is exposed."

Static

"How 'bout this?" Lightning added. "We go up to the door and Lightning smashes through it. We'd be out in…however long it takes Lightning to smash through the doors."

Dawn sighed again. "Lightning. We're supposed to be solving puzzles. I don't think breaking down the doors will win it for us."

"Well what if the answer to the puzzle is 'smash the door?" Lightning turned to Topher. "What do you think…Tim?"

Topher ignored the flubbing of his name, instead intrigued at the prospect of…

Confessional (Topher/Tim): "Ooooo, banter with my new alliance member. This should be good."

Static

"Well, I think-"

"Time's up!" Blaineley's voice rang out.

Both teams turned to see the doors slowly opening. They all stepped inside their respective room.

On the other side was a dark room, with no way of seeing what was in front of whoever was in it. Once the last member of the Rookies stepped inside, the lights came on. They were met with a medium size room with numbers on the wall. On the other side of the room was a panel with four square slots.

"So these numbers probably have something to do with the puzzle." Scott figured.

"There's no key-pad anywhere." Dawn noted. "So where do the numbers come from?"

"Oh." Lightning went up to her. "Use your Oreo reading thing to figure it out."

"Aura." Dawn corrected. "And that's not how that works."

Scott took another look at the number on the wall. He noticed something and slid his hand between a small slit behind the number. He pulled it out slightly and a tile with the number on it came out. He then walked over to the slots and placed the tile in the leftmost one. It clicked right in and turned green.

Scott smirked and turned around. "Alright, we got our answer. Now let's find the other three."

The Newbies had the same idea and were trying out any tile they could.

Confessional (Brick): "Jasmine's still upset at me. Doing well here might change her opinion on me."

Static

"There's gotta be a clue on what tile to use." Jo said, looking around.

Ella grabbed a tile with the number '4.' She went over to the slots and placed it in the right most one. It clicked and glowed green.

Everyone turned. "How did you know that one would work?" Jasmine asked.

"I had a lucky feeling." Ella shrugged.

Jo then grabbed a number 3 tile and went over, placing it in slot right before Ella's. It clicked, but it glew red.

"That must mean it's wrong." Brick said, holding a tile with the number '8.' He took out Jo's tile and put his in. This time, it was glowing yellow.

Jo smirked to herself. But, Brick looked closer. "If it's not red, but yellow, then it might be right, just not in the correct spot." He took the tile out and placed it in the next slot. This time, it went green.

Jo frowned, as Brick looked smugly at her.

Confessional (Brick): "I don't know, it's too satisfying to one up Jo."

Static

"Save the smile for when we win." Jasmine butt in. "We should be working together, not trying to one-up each other." She went back to looking.

Brick sighed to himself, as Jo allowed herself to smirk again.

They soon entered the next room.

With Scott's help, they were soon in the second room. It was absolutely decked out with photos on the walls. There was also a statue on a stand in the middle.

Everyone looked around, unsure of what they were looking for. Dawn, however, was the first to figure it out. "Look at the paintings!" She pointed. "They all have numbers on them."

Sure enough, every picture, while different, all had three numbers in them. One showed the numbers in the leaves of a tree, another was a statue of numbers in the middle of a desert. Point was, each one of them was unique.

"And look at this." Scott called. He was on the other side of the room. He found a keypad. "If I had to guess, one of these photos has the code we're looking for."

"So, how do we know which one it is?" Dakota wondered.

"Oh," Lightning said, looking at Dawn. "Use your oregano powers to find the right one."

Again, the moonchild sighed. "Still not how it works…"

Topher then noticed the statue in the middle. It was a golden man pointing. The wannabe followed its gaze and realized it was pointing at one of the photos.

Confessional (Topher): "Time to prove myself as the reliable leader of my alliance."

Static

Topher found the numbers in the painting and then went over to the keypad. "Watch this, guys. I think I cracked the code." Everyone watched as Topher punched in the number.

Beep

Beep

Beep

"Now, watch and be amaz-"

BZZZT

The room briefly became red, before going back to normal. Evidently, Topher was wrong.

The wannabe turned back around. "Wait, what? No, that can't be right." He tried the code again, only to hear the same buzzer sound. He sighed in annoyance.

Lightning, meanwhile, looked at the statue and then to the painting it was pointing at, with a curious expression.

The Newbies weren't having any luck either. Dave was standing by the keypad, listening to numbers being called out.

"Try this." Sky called. "8-5-"

"9-2-3" Jo interrupted.

Dave turned around. "That's too many numbers. One person at a time."

Sky looked at her teammate. "Jo, let me read this."

"How do you know yours is right and mine isn't?"

"I don't know, but we need to try whatever number code we can."

"That'll take too long. The Rookies will beat us before we even get through this room."

Max jumped in between them. "Would you stop arguing?! That she-devil is going to hear us and know I'm in here!"

Before Sky could respond, Brick suddenly bumped into her, having been staring at the painting, while also walking around the room.

"Woah, Brick!" She exclaimed.

The cadet stumbled for a moment to catch himself. He looked at Sky. "Sorry." Then he turned back to the paintings. "Um…" He exhaled. "Dang it."

"What? Trying to pretend to be disappointed so you can eliminate me again?" Jasmine retorted.

"Not at all. But I think there might a be a-"

Ding-ding

Everyone turned to see Ella standing by the now open door.

"W-Wait, what?" Brick stammered, running up to his teammate. "How did you solve it?"

Ella smiled. "I saw a painting of a cherry blossom tree and saw the numbers in flowers. Cherry blossoms are so pretty."

Everyone stared for a moment, before snapping back to reality. They started entering the next room. Max was about to enter, when he stopped. He looked at a painting. It was a woman, surrounded by fire, giving an icy cold stare. Max looked closer. In his mind, the fire was moving, taking shape into something. The eyes of the woman seemed to move, surprising the very frightened purple haired contestant, as it stared further into his soul. The fire latched onto the woman's head and engulfed her. And through the flames, Max thought he saw-

"Ah! She-devil!" He screamed. He then ran into the next room.

He wasn't paying attention, however, and ran right into Sky. She was knocked forward. The room was dark, but after Sky was forced forward, it suddenly changed to orange and a loud buzzer sound was heard.

Sky stepped back as the lights came on. They all looked around. The room looked like…well, a normal room. Complete with a few tables, couches and chairs.

"What the heck was that light?" Dave questioned.

"I think I might have an idea." Jasmine pointed.

Everyone turned to the wall the Aussie was directing them towards. In red spray paint on the wall, it read "FLOOR IS LAVA" followed by another note that read "Hit the ground and you start over."

The Rookies were still looking around the painting's room. Scott and Dawn were arguing, while Lightning was moving around, looking at the wall.

"At this point, our best bet is to just guess. We'll eventually find the right answer." Scott said.

"That'll take too long." Dawn argued. "There must be a clue we don't see."

"Well if you can't see it, then it probably isn't here."

The two continued arguing, as Dakota and Topher watched on. The ex-mutant turned to her teammate. "So…if we lose, who are we voting for?"

The wannabe perked up. "Oh, I am glad you asked. I was thinking-"

"Because if it's Scott, I'm all for it."

Topher nearly stumbled on his words. "W-Well, that's…that's getting a little hasty, I mean…Scott's tough to take down."

Confessional (Topher): "I can't eliminate Scott this early. I need to really set him up as the dastardly villain that he is. That'll make my eventual victory all the more meaningful."

Static

"Alright," Dakota said, unsure. "How about Lighting? I don't hate him or anything, but I guess he's kind of a threat."

"No!" Topher blurted. "We can't eliminate him because…well, he's also in our alliance."

Dakota narrowed her eyes. "Wait, he's in the alliance? Why didn't you tell me that?"

"I gave you a thumbs up earlier."

"When?"

"When?" Topher was flummoxed. "When we-"

Beep

Beep

Beep

Ding-Ding

Everyone turned to see the door to the third room opening, with Lightning standing at the front. He turned around to see the confused looks of his competitors.

"Lightning?" Dawn said. "Did you find the code?"

"Sha-huh." The mega jock nodded.

"How?" Scott pondered. "If none of us could figure it out, how did you?"

"Oh, it was sha-simple." Lightning walked over to the statue. "After Tim did his thing and tried the painting that the statue was pointing at, Lightning looked at said painting." He then went towards it. "Obviously, it sha-didn't work. Then Lightning noticed a dude in the painting." He then pointed at it, revealing a small man with his fingers pointing up. "So then Lightning went to the picture above it. Then he saw another dude pointing. Then another. Then another. Then another…" He started walking around the room, indicating each painting he was referring to. All the Rookies watched on. "...Then another. Then another. Then another. Until finally Lightning saw this one." He indicated the painting. "Now, you'll see this dude is pointing up still, but he's pointing at the numbers. So Lightning figured, hey! That must be it. So Lightning went over to the button thing, put them in and sha-here we are!"

Topher, Scott, Dawn and Dakota all had their jaws hanging open, as Lightning basked in the victory.

The Newbies had figured out the challenge and were carefully making their way across the room, crawling over the furniture. They were in a line, careful not to disrupt the person behind them or touch the floor themselves. Ella was in front, followed by Max, Sky, Dave, Jasmine, Jo and Brick taking up the rear.

Dave was desperately trying his best to not fall. He looked up briefly to see how he was doing. It was then he noticed Sky climbing in front of him. He thought back to what he saw between her and Ella. In his moment of thinking, he lost track of what he was doing. He reached for something, but it wasn't there.

He snapped back to attention as he realized he was falling and was about to hit the ground. He shut his eyes. He then suddenly felt something grab his arm and he stopped. Dave opened his eyes and looked up.

To his surprise, Sky was holding his arm, suspending his fall and preventing him from having to start the challenge over. Since his feet were still on the couch, he was dangling above the ground. She breathed a sigh of relief. Dave just stared.

Confessional (Dave): "I-I thought I was over this feeling. Sky said was interested and she…well, she was just trying to make sure we didn't lose." He thought to himself. "I mean, yeah, that's totally what it was, right?"

Static

As Dave pulled himself up, Jo watched. All movement had stopped ahead of her and everyone was focused on Dave. She then looked back. Brick was focusing on getting himself from a table to a desk. He hadn't noticed what was going on. Jo then looked over at Jasmine and wondered to herself.

Confessional (Jo): "So, here's the thing. I want to win, right? But…I also know Drippy is still looking to make it up to Blunder from Down Under. If he gets that way, that could be bad for me. So…I guess I gotta do a little sabotage to make him look bad and realize that I'm his only hope of survival. Oh, and I want to get him back for showing me up earlier."

Static

When the jockette noticed that nobody was looking at her, she then turned back to see Brick, who was still making his way onto the desk. As quick as she could, she moved backwards and kicked the desk. It shook with Brick on it and he struggled to stay on. He tried to grab onto the sides of it, but he ended up slipping right off and fell forward onto the floor.

The room became engulfed in the orange light like before. "AH!" Max screamed. "The redheaded she-devil is here to get me!"

"Max, wait." Sky called. "It wasn't Scarlett, it was-" She then realized and looked back. As did Jasmine.

They all saw Brick, picking himself up from the ground, looking sheepish.

The Aussie grunted. "Seriously?! I thought that-" She sighed. "Whatever, just go to the end. We'll probably make it there before you."

Brick nodded solemnly. Thankfully for Jo, he hadn't seen her kick the desk. And even more thankfully for the jockette, he didn't see her smirking to herself

Confessional (Max): He was trying to control his breath. "Sky is…right. Scarlett isn't in the room. She can't get in…she's-" It then hit him. "She's too stupid to get inside. That's why she's a-" He quickly snapped back to being scared. "I hope she didn't hear me say that."

Static

Scott and Dawn were carefully traversing over the furniture in the third room. Topher, Lightning and Dakota were still at the entrance's end.

Confessional (Topher): "Alright, after my idea that inspired Lightning, I guess it's time to once again show my strengths as the leader of this alliance."

Static

"Yo, Dawn!" Lightning called. "You think your-"

"No." Dawn said plainly. "My aura abilities can't carry you to the other end."

The mega jock thought to himself, then looked at Topher.

"So," Topher said to Dakota. "Since you're tall, I guess we can-" Topher felt something hit the back of his legs and he sat down. He sat right into a chair that was suddenly lifted above the ground. "What the-"

Lightning smirked to himself as he held the chair above his head.

Topher was in a state of panic. "Lightning! What are you-"

"Sha-yeet!"

Lightning suddenly chucked the chair as hard as he could across the room. Topher gripped tightly as he flew forward, his head almost hitting the ceiling.

Dawn and Scott watched in amazement as Topher started to descend. He felt himself leaving the chair. This only added to his fear as he realized he was about to hit the ground. He slammed, face first, right onto the floor. Thankfully, it was in the safe zone, so he was safe.

"Sha-bam!" Lightning said.

Dakota's mouth was agape.

The mega jock turned. "Ok, your turn."

The ex-mutant stepped back. "Woah, no way. You are not doing that to me. Besides, there's no chair to grab."

Lightning looked around and realized he wasn't within grabbing distance of any chairs. But then another idea hit him.

On the other side, Topher was starting to get up, still racked with pain. Slowly, he picked himself off the ground. Then he heard a noise. It sounded like someone shouting. Then someone else going "Sha-yeet!" Then it…

Oh no

Topher tried to move, but it was too late. A cracking sound was heard as Dakota landed right onto his back. She was bewildered, but otherwise unharmed. That might've had to do with the wannabe crash pad she was currently sitting on.

Topher let out a muffled groan.

From the other side, Lightning smirked with triumph. Scott and Dawn were still in shock of what just happened.

Brick was halfway across the "floor is lava" room, jumping from a table and onto a couch. The other Newbies were waiting for him at the other end. Noticeably, Jasmine was glaring at him.

He was about three quarters done, as he carefully moved across a smaller table.

"Can you hurry it up, already?!" Max yelled. He then quickly composed himself. "I-I mean, because…the challenge…not because of any…redheaded-"

"Max, she's still not here." Sky sighed.
Confessional (Sky): "Man, I kinda feel bad for Max. He's clearly not doing too well."

Confessional (Max): "She's going to see this, right? The she-devil? In any case, maybe I am getting over my head. I was the most evil person on this island, I could probably handle myself." He paused, before realizing what he just said. "Wait a minute, was!?"

Confessional (Brick): "I know Jasmine's still mad at me, and she has every right to be. But, right now, my best chance at forgiveness is to do well in this challenge. The less I screw up, the better chance I have at earning her trust back."

Static

Brick, still on the small table, looked to his teammates. The gap between himself and them wasn't that large. He decided, at that moment, he was going to have to jump. "Looks like I'm going to have to jump." He whispered.

"Hold on, what are you-" Sky started.

Brick lunged forward. However, the small table he was standing on wasn't sturdy enough. It rocked around, throwing Brick's balance off. He swayed and fell forward. He tried to jump, but it wasn't going to be enough to reach the safezone.

He closed his eyes and waited for the impact. He felt something grab his wrist and he didn't hit the ground. He opened one eye to see what had happened. He was face to face with an unimpressed Jasmine. He was being suspended up in the air, simply by Jasmine holding his wrist. His legs were dangling just above the floor.

"Umm…" He found himself unable to speak. He actually blushed at the situation. "T-Thank you." He said meekly.

Confessional (Brick): "Man I really do have a thing for strong girls."

Static

Jasmine rolled her eyes and pulled him into the safe zone. She dropped him to his feet. "That was for the cliff. Now we're even."

Brick nodded.

"Let's get moving." Sky said. They all went through the now opened door to the fourth room.

Inside, they found a room filled with maps sprawled across the walls. Looking closely, they looked like battle plans. One of them was a very large world map. In the middle of the room, was a small table with a replica of a bomb and a flashlight.

Brick seemed intrigued by the whole thing. He went up to the table.

"Alright, there must be a clue somewhere in here." Jo said.

"I think this is it." Brick was now holding the light. "This is a black light and it might give us a better idea of what we're looking for. Max, hit the lights. Everyone else, get behind me."

The purple haired competitor obliged. He flipped the switch and the room was dark. Max then realized something.

Confessional (Max): "Since when do I take orders like that?"

Static

Brick turned the light on, engulfing the room in a purple light. He moved it across the walls, hoping to find a clue. He did so. When he reached an area that had two flag prints on it, there was a neon light above them, but no flag inside it.

"Hit the lights again." They came on. Brick went over to the flags. One was a flag with three vertical lines, one red, one white and one green and one red, with a crest and crown in the center. Another was a red and white flag, with a red dot close to the center and more red lines sprawling out of it, almost like a sun. And, even more interestingly, it was on an axis graph. Brick went over to the large world map.

"You got an idea?" Sky asked.

"It's the Axis powers, but one's missing." Brick said. "This room is all about World War II." He smirked. "And lucky for you, I'm a history buff at this sort of thing."

"Save the bragging for when we're out of here." Jasmine demanded.

Brick didn't respond. He looked around the map. It looked more like puzzle pieces, upon closer inspection. The cadet reached his hand towards Germany. He put his fingers on the top of it and it seemed to move. Slowly, Brick pulled it right off the wall. Behind it was a hollow hole. And in the hole was a pair of red, white and black wire cutters.

The cadet took them out and looked around again. His eyes fell on the bomb prop. When he went up to it, he noticed something. Painted on a flap was the word 'betrayal.' Curiously, Brick opened it.

He found some wires, all different colors. One yellow, one blue, one white, one red and one black."

"Which one are you gonna cut?" Jo asked.

"In 1941, the Germans turned on their Russian allies, when they invaded their home country. And if the word on this A-bomb prop is anything to go by, I need to cut the wire that matches the flag of the country they betrayed."

"So, the white, blue and red one, right?"

Brick put his index finger up. "Not quite. These wire cutters came from Germany, but they aren't the colors of the German flag today. It's the one they flew back in World War II. And back then, Russia was called the Soviet Union. And their flag…" He put the wires in position. "Was red and yellow." He cut each wires.

A buzzing sound was heard, followed by a triumphant horn. Everyone turned to the door to the fifth room opening.

Brick smirked to himself. It fell when he saw Jasmine, who was still staring at him, not looking that impressed. She didn't say anything, as she turned to head to the door. Brick sighed and followed.

"Good job, Brick." Sky said. "Your smarts really came in handy."

"Thanks, Sky." The cadet smiled slightly.

The Rookies had made it into the fifth and final room at the same time. Evidently, Dawn was somewhat of a history buff.

They arrived in a large room, filled to the brim with trinkets, objects, knick knacks and just…stuff. Lots of stuff.

"Look around, there might be something to help us." Scott said.

Everyone did so, looking all around the room.

Lightning came to a bookcase that had a lot more items on it. One of them was a football. "Oh, sha-score!" He grabbed it. "Yo, Tim! Heads up!" He then chucked it at Topher.

The wannabe barely had time to turn before being pelted in the face with the football.

Dawn was more focused on the challenge and soon came across a framed photo near the opposite end of where they entered.

She looked at it. "I think I found something." Her teammates went towards her. "It looks like a framed riddle. It might be the kickstarter to our challenge."

"Well, what does it say?" Dakota asked.

Dawn looked again and read it aloud. "Solve my riddles three, and there you might see. Where to find the key. Be sure to time it just right, or trouble might be in sight, when you see the campfire tonight."

"What the heck does that mean?" Jasmine questioned.

Dave pondered. "I think we need to find a key or something."

"We do." Sky called. She was at the opposite end of the entrance. She pointed at three keyholes embedded in the wall. "So, solve three riddles, get three keys, right?"

Brick had an idea and turned the frame over. Sure enough, there was another scroll. He took it down and opened it. "A symbol of power and control. Heavy on the head, very much so. Shiny and flaunting with royalty. Dawned in black, wherever it might go."

"Heavy on the head?" Jo cast a sly look at one of her teammates.

Confessional (Jo): "It's Bricky Boy. Who else? Big head, amiright?" She sighed. "I'm only in here because I didn't want him to hear me." She pondered to herself. "How…did I get in here?"

Static

While everyone continued questioning what the riddle meant, Max was carefully checking his surroundings. He breathed quietly as he looked around. He suddenly tripped over something and let out a squeak of terror. He quickly stood up, in a fighting stance. When he saw that no one was near him, he relaxed. He then looked at what he had tripped over. His eyes went wide as he picked it up.

It was a red crown, with gold trimming. The self proclaimed evil genius stared at it. Suddenly, it was snatched from his hands.

"It's a crown!" Jasmine said, holding it up. "Good thinking, mate." She looked back at Max. "The key must be in it."

Max, however, stammered a response. He looked like he was desperately trying to say something, after seeing Jasmine holding the crown he found.

The rest of their teammates went over. When Brick saw it, he frowned. "I…don't think that's it." He said, reluctantly. "The crown…is supposed to be decked out in black."

Jasmine glared. "Oh, and how would you know?"

"Because he read it!" Jo retorted. "You saw him do it."

"H-Hey." Max slowly found his voice. "That's…mine."

The aussie didn't hear him, instead walking up to Brick and swiping the clue from his hands. She read it over. When she got her answer, she again turned a glare to Brick.

"I…" Max was shaking. "I…told you. Give it…back."

Jasmine finally sighed. "Alright, fine. I was wrong. Don't get too worked up over it." She tossed the crown behind her.

Max saw it and ran to catch it. He did so and gave a triumphant smile. Then realization hit him.

Confessional (Max): "S-She gave it to me. I told her to give it to me…and she gave it to me."

Static

Max turned slightly and saw a mirror. He looked at himself, holding the crown. Then he put it directly on his head...and just stared at himself.

"It might be a chess piece." Dawn looked around. She saw a chessboard and pondered. "If it's a crown, it's either the king or the queen." She thought back to the riddle. "Dawned in black…wherever it might go. And the only piece that can go wherever it wants is…" She picked up one of the black pieces. "...the queen!"

"Dang, I didn't know they made a board game for that British band." Lighting said.

"She means the queen of chess." Topher said.

"Well, why is she looking at this board, if the thing is in a box?"

Confessional (Topher): "I like my dynamic with Lightning. The straight man usually isn't as memorable, but I guess when you're with Lightning, your role is kind of automatically set for you."

Static

Dawn looked at the chess piece again. She carefully twisted the head and, sure enough, it came right off, revealing the key on the inside. "One down, two to go."

"But, where's the next clue?" Scott asked.

"Oh, maybe it's in the chest." Lightning picked up the chessboard, expecting it to open like a box.

He was confused when he only found a flat table. However, under the chessboard was a piece of paper that fluttered down onto it. Dawn picked it up and smiled. "Good job, Lightning."

The mega jock had no idea what he did, but smiled proudly. Topher watched on, enviously.

Confessional (Topher): "Dawn and Lightning have a good connection. That might overshadow the one I'm trying to create. And that could be a problem."

Static

Dawn read the next clue. "I can't open doors. But I still need keys. Don't call me a toy. But still play with me please."

Everyone thought what it meant, but one of them was able to figure it out.

"It's a piano." Dakota said, noticing one in the corner of the room.

Everyone stared at the ex-mutant. "How did you figure that out so quickly?" Topher asked.

"My dad owns like ten of these things. Well, ok, now it's seven, but most of our maids played music for me when I was little." She sighed. "It was fun…"

Dawn gave a sympathetic smile, but didn't say anything. The Rookies looked around the instrument, hoping to find a key somewhere. They checked under the lid and under the piano itself. Even the chair that was next to it. But, they couldn't find anything.

"If the answer is a piano, where's the key?" Scott asked.

"Oh, maybe we're supposed to smash it!" Lightning raised his arms up, standing next to it.

Dawn quickly stepped in front of him and put her hands up.

"Wait a second." Ella looked over the riddle sheet again. "I think the key is in the piano."

"So, what?" Dave said. "Are we supposed to break it?"

"No." Ella walked to the front of the piano, still looking over the sheet. "The first letter of every sentence is a note on a piano. C. B. D. B." As she said the letters, she pressed down on each key, careful to not hit the wrong one. After the fourth note, a clicking sound was heard. A small hatch had opened on the side of the piano, holding both the key and another note. Ella smiled proudly.

"Good job, Ella." Sky said, quickly taking the note. She read it aloud. "A tube, but not round. Not famous, but knows all the stars. Informative, whether true or false."

Everyone looked around.

Everyone, except Max, who was too busy staring at himself in the mirror, wearing the crown. A shadowy figure loomed behind him in the mirror. It formed a shape and soon became clear. It was Scarlett, who glared menacingly down at him. Max breathed sharply, almost putting up a defensive position. But then, his gaze fell back on himself, wearing the crown. He forgot about Scarlett for a moment, and continued staring. He then looked back at the redhead and, bravely, glared back at it. The reflection's glare fell and it stepped back, almost shrinking. Max was surprised.

"A tube…" Jasmine whispered. "But it isn't round…"

"Yeah, say it again." Jo snided. "It's not like it was just read to us."

Jasmine glared and was about to retort, when she bumped into something. She looked and saw a box. Stepping back, she realized the box was on a stand and had a glass frame on the front.

Brick noticed it. "Tube…?" It then hit him. "Wait, it's a TV. An old TV. That's what we're looking for."

"Alright, now what?" Jo asked. "Do we break it?"

"Let's see if there's a clue." Brick suggested.

"Does this mean anything?" Dave pointed.

Everyone looked at what he was referring to. On the side of the TV was some writing. On the top it said 'ten times' underneath it was a drawing of a square and under that was a drawing of a tree, with large roots sticking in the ground. Next to it was also a built in master lock.

"That might be important." Sky said. "Good job, Dave."

The black haired contestant found himself blushing. "Well…it's just, y'know, trying to be a valuable asset to the t-"

"Oh," Sky was looking over the paper. "And there's some numbers in the clue. Maybe, that's the code." She went over to the lock.

"They wouldn't make it that easy." Jo noted

Sky turned the knob. First to 19, then to 25, 12, 12 again, 1, 2, 12 for the third time, 5 and 19. She finished and…nothing happened.

"See?" Jo scoffed.

"Well, at least I came up with something." Sky snapped.

"I did!" Jo yelled. "I wanted to break it!"

"That's a terrible idea!" Jasmine butt in. "Come on, we need to focus and win this."

"Oh, please, you've been focusing all your attention on Brick, you don't get to tell us when to focus."

"Guys," Brick said. "Jasmine's right, we need to-"

"I don't need you to stand up to me!" The Aussie shouted. "And another thing-"

The four started arguing loudly, as Dave watched on. Max was still looking at himself in the mirror.

"I've got it!"

Dawn looked at the code again. "Look! The number code. It forms a word. I wonder…" She looked it over.

Topher leaned and cupped his chin. "Ah, yes. It's so obvious."

Everyone looked at the wannabe. Topher suddenly realized all eyes were on him. He looked at the paper again. "And…well, it's obvious, so I'll let Dawn say what it is." He laughed nervously.

"Anyways…I think numbers are supposed to be letters. 19 is S, 25 is Y, 12 is L, so…" She looked it over again. "It spells syllables. And if you count the syllables in each line it goes five, eight and nine. And if we use those numbers with the chart on the TV, five times ten is 50." She turned the dial. "And then the square means the number will be squared and eight squared is 64." She turned it again. "And the root, as in the square root, of nine is-"

"It's three!" Topher exclaimed. "It's three." He nodded to himself.

"Dang." Lightning said. "Lightning thought only trees and plants had roots. Y'all blowing his mind."

Dawn finally turned the dial to three. A click was suddenly heard and a slot opened up on the side of the TV. In it, was the third and final key to the Rookies victory.

The Newbies were in a panic. No one knew what the last clue meant and they were all still arguing. Dave was the only one trying to look at the paper.

"This would be a lot easier if everyone stopped yelling!" He shouted, to no avail.

"Guys!" Sky exclaimed. "He needs to focus. Dave has the right idea. We need to stop shouting!"

Confessional (Dave): He let out a loud grunt. "Stop agreeing with me! It's confusing what your message is. If you don't like me like that, stop siding with me!"

Static

"Alright, fine!" Jasmine yelled. "Does anyone have any ideas?"

"If we had a stethoscope," Brick said. "Maybe I could-"

"Not from you!" The Aussie pointed. "You're just trying to set us up for elimination so you can give me the boot again!"

Jo saw another chance and stepped in between them. "At least he has an idea! What have you been doing other than shouting at him?"

"And since when did you side with him?"

"When it became apparent that you don't know what you're doing and that you'd rather blame everyone for your issues than actually lead the team."

The two argued some more as Brick watched on, unsure of what to do.

Confessional (Jo): "My plan is simple. Stand up for the bed wetter, so he's more willing to side with me when he finally realizes his tall and dark fantasy isn't a possibility anymore. So far, I think it's been going pretty well."

Static

On the other side of the room, Max was still staring at the window with the crown on. He couldn't hear the arguing behind him. The image of Scarlett was still watching him. But, this time, she didn't seem as scary. He glared again at the reflection, more menacingly. The redhead's expression changed to that of surprise. After that, it disappeared.

In that moment, Max snapped back to reality, finally able to hear his arguing teammates. He cleared his throat. "Ahem!"

Everyone turned.

The crowned Max rolled his eyes. "While I do love the sound of chaos and misery, your lack of common sense is appalling. You have a solution right in front of you and you're missing it!"

Jo scoffed. "So what? You're the one who's going to solve the puzzle?"

"In the only way that will work." Max declared. "The evil way."

His teammates all shared looks of uncertainty. But…

"Unless anyone else has an idea." Sky said. "What exactly is the…evil way?"

Max just grinned darkly.

Just outside the end of the last escape room, Blaineley was laying on a beach chair, getting her tan on, while the other interns stood around her, either catering to her demand for food or fanning her with a giant leaf.

Her tanning was soon interrupted by the sound of one of the doors opening. Blaineley looked up to see the Rookies door opening. She groaned as she stood up and walked towards it. Dawn was the first to exit, followed by Topher, Lightning and Dakota.

Blaineley began. "And it looks like the winners of the challenge are-"

Boom

The ground suddenly rocked as a loud explosion echoed around them. Scott was still inside when it happened. The sudden explosion and the ground shaking threw him off balance. Same with the other Rookies.

The explosion had come from the side of the Newbies last room. Smoke came pouring from the side. As it cleared, a large hold had developed. The Newbies were on the other side, coughing up a fit.

Max, however, remained undeterred, as he stepped onto the grass. "And that is how the evil way is done."

The Newbies soon composed themselves and stepped outside. "Let's get to the front." Sky said.

Scott was just getting up, as the Newbies arrived in front of Blainley.

The blonde host stared, in stunned silence. Soon, she found her voice. "Well…I was going to say the Rookies won, until the rest of you…blew a hole in the wall and…came here."

"So, we won?!" Sky exclaimed, leading to cheers from the rest of the Newbies.

Blaineley put up a finger. "Well…" She watched as Scott finally made it out the door. "The Newbies did escape their last room first, but…the answer to the puzzle was not…blow up the room. So…I can't really give them the win. The Newbies may have gotten out first, but the Rookies solved the puzzle first. Therefore, they win."

This resulted in loud cheers from the remaining five Rookies. Dawn looked over the other team. She found herself smiling when she saw Ella. However, it didn't last.

Max was in disbelief. "What? We lost?! But I used the evil way to get us out."

"Unfortunately, the evil way was not in the rule book." Blaineley said.

"The evil way doesn't have to follow your rules. It overpowers your rules. In fact, there are no rules in the evil way. The evil way is the way…of life…and death…of my enemies!"

As Max continued rambling, he failed to notice all the eyes of teammates glaring at him.

Confessional (Sky): "Yeah. Don't feel bad anymore."

Blaineley, meanwhile, went up to the Rookies. "Congrats on the win. As usual, you will receive a prize for winning today's challenge."

The Rookies all shared knowing looks. "Is it another thing about you? Or is it more towels?" Scott questioned.

"Lightning can go for some more towels." The mega jock said.

Blaineley just smirked. "Well, if that's a problem with you, I can easily give it to the Newbies and declare them the winners instead. Would you like that?"

The country boy grimaced. "Whatever."

"Good answer." Blaineley turned, proudly presenting a bust of herself that the Newbies were struggling to carry. "That's going in your room."

The Rookies weren't happy, but didn't say anything.

Brick was back at the cabin, sitting by himself on the steps.

Sky had just walked out and she saw him. The Olympian had an idea what was on his mind and decided to sit next to him. "Thinking about Jasmine?" She asked.

"Yeah…" Brick sighed. "I'm pretty sure she's still upset at me."

Sky gave a sympathetic smile. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, she did let me talk to her last night. And…not in a mean way, either."

Brick perked up at this. "Really? I guess that's a good sign."

"I'll admit, I don't know if she still trusts me, or if she was just more mad at you at that moment." She thought to herself. "So…why do you want her forgiveness so badly? You worried she might vote you off?"

"Not really. Jasmine's…a really cool person and she doesn't deserve to be lied to. I want to make it up to her."

Sky raised an eyebrow. "Why? I mean, I get that you feel bad, but isn't this going to interfere in the competition?"

"I don't really care if it does." Brick said. "Yeah, I want to win, but if it means Jasmine trusts me again, I'll gladly take a loss."

Sky was flummoxed by it all. "You don't care if you lose? You focus on personal goals rather than winning? And yet, you still did well in today's challenge. At least with the war stuff. How are you able to focus like that?"

"I guess, I just thought that if I did well today, Jasmine would be more willing to forgive me."

Sky didn't respond. She sat quietly, next to her teammate.

Confessional (Sky): "Brick is able to focus on both the challenge and keep his feelings towards Jasmine from interfering...at least now." She thought to herself. "Does…does that mean I can do the same thing…with Dave?"

Static

Dawn was walking through the forest, alone. A lot was on her mind.

Confessional (Dawn): "I can't believe I've been letting my emotions take over. I need to be firm with Ella, but…" She sighed. "I suppose it can't be helped. I'm too close to this. I want to be the one to help Ella, but…I don't know if I can."

Static

Ella was happily setting up their usual picnic area, when Dawn arrived. She waited behind a tree, watching the girl happily skip around while humming a tune. Seeing her happy was, in turn, making Dawn smile.

But it quickly dissipated. She stepped forward. "Ella…" The fairytale princess turned. "I know I said I would help you, but certain…unexpected feelings have formed and I must advise that-" She stopped. Ella suddenly appeared directly in front of her, smiling warmly. The moonchild was completely caught off guard.

"Can I kiss you?" Ella asked.

Dawn's mouth fell open. "W-Wha? You want to…kiss me?"

Ella nodded. "For a while, actually. You're kind, understanding, gentle and you love animals. So, in other words…I love you too." She chuckled.

The moonchild felt the breath leave her body as she realized what that meant. She looked at Ella. The girl had eyes full of innocence and love, which Dawn desperately wanted to embrace.

But, at the same time, Ella needed help and Dawn knew if she went through with this, there was no turning back.

After what seemed like forever, Dawn gave her answer.

"Y-Yes. You can kiss me."

The fairytale princess beamed and even Dawn managed a small smile. Then they moved closer to each other. Their hands interlocked. Dawn could feel the warmth of Ella's breath. Finally, they locked lips and it was a magical moment. The animals around them sensed what was going on and cheered and squealed in celebration. The kiss was truly something out of a fairytale.

After a while, they parted and just stared at each other. Ella's smile gave Dawn a feeling of comfort that she had never felt before.

Dawn allowed herself to smile and enjoy the moment. For as long as she could. And after today, that very well could be a long time.

Blaineley and the Newbies were already standing at the dock. She looked at the camera. "And in an absolutely, undeniably obvious decision, Max has been voted off."

Confessional (Jo): "I could've convinced Bricky Boy to vote for the Aussie again, but once that purple little mite came in, there was no shot." She sounded annoyed. "The merge is coming up soon probably and I need that extra vote. Wet Pants will fall in line, one way or another."

Static

"It's ridiculous!" The self proclaimed evil genius bellowed as he was being strapped into the jet ski. "The evil way does not adhere to the rules. But, no matter. My evil transcends this silly excuse for a reality. Soon, you'll all be basking in my reign and you'll realize the mistake that you made today!"

"Say hi to Scarlett for us!" Ella said, enthusiastically.

Max's demeanor suddenly fell. "What? Where is she? Are we heading to her?" He sounded scared, but didn't receive a reply. "That redheaded demon is gone. She can't find me…right? She's…she's…wait, you are taking me to her, aren't you?" He tried wriggling out of the straps. "Get me out! I'm too young and evil to die! If you move this boat another inch, I'll-" Max's words were cut off as the boat started and sped away, dragging along the still protesting purple haired ex-contestant.

The rest of his former teammates watched. Jasmine looked over at Brick, glaring. "Don't think this means anything. I only voted for Max because he cost us the win. I wanted to vote for you. Don't forget that."

"I understand." Brick bowed. "And if it does come to that, I will fully respect your decision. But…" He looked up at her. "...I'm still going to make all this up to you, one way or another." He smirked lightly.

Jasmine found herself stunned and blushing a little, but she quickly shook it off and walked away. Jo watched, annoyed.

Sky was also watching. Then she looked over at Dave.

Blaineley, still on the dock, turned to the camera. "Brick is determined to win back Jasmine. But will it cost him? Probably. Max got his groove back, only to screw it all up and get himself eliminated. What is next? And how close are we to the merge? Maybe it'll happen next time, in another Blainerific filled episode…with me, your host, Blaineley. Oh yeah, and this has been Total…Drama…Omega!"

To the surprise of probably no one, Max is gone. I had a surprisingly fun time writing for him, but his time was up.

I wish I could've done more with developing more of the storylines (at least more with what I already did), but I'm still happy with this one. And yeah, looks like Dawn and Ella are official.

See y'all in the next one. Take care.
