Warnings: There is going to be a slight pause regarding the extended version to what happened between his withdrawal and rebound and the end of it. As I lost several chapters when updating the chapter on truths out. Regarding who it was that caused his to really quit and thr reason why. So it's going to take me a few days to get the rest of it out, regarding the ending to Need.
Before the rest of the story is finished and it goes from 2369 and into 1893, but there will several indications saying there are changes in that area. Before Hammond's age group gets into the military and leading into their new future. And before the next half of the chapter as it reaches Hammond's meeting with SG-1 as the team ends up in 1969, as they see Hammond in his early 30's.
Chapter 96: SGC Truths: The IOA Gets The Truth XII
"Having a sudden removal and return like this, I'm going on a guess, but that's another piece we need to understand the Jaffa anatomy. But loss of their symbiote causes their bodies to suffer the same impact to them. In that being up for a month does to us right now as a result here. But the pheromone, the amphetamine like effects of the technology, his body is suffering a come down from these things now in this."
"And the caffeine, and they combined together now, plus the fact he just recently lost his immune system, before getting it back. It's enough that Nem did us all a favor, because two months worth of lack of sleep. That just caught up with him, he hasn't slept and in close to six weeks, so he needs to rest. And his body is fighting the toxins of both that and the sarcophagus now."
"I have to be sure of this to make a sure determination now, but how often was he shipping out, I know you wanted to run several medical tests. And on them for the amount of times they'd gone through the gate now at the moment?" he asked and John paled at that remark, in knowing what was coming. "With only 9 teams it's every other day, but twice a week for seven months now, Jake."
"You think that the fact they'd been over worked just caused this combined with Hathor just showing up on the base?" Hammond asked and he nodded. "I do, but Hathor, and Nem, just did us all a favor, he's been over worked. I don't have to heard words here from Sam or Daniel, but the trio want some peace and quiet. And for once, well they're going to get that rest finally now at the moment."
"And that's not if he, Danny, gets hurt for whatever reason on this mission, but the base is on stand down for missions for a month after this. No debates, these are the symptoms of any drug withdrawal, he's hallucinating out of a fever here. So that's it, alright Robert, you're next." he said as she gave him another and he did the same with him, as he checked his then and his eyes narrowed with a worried look.
"He's at 105, they're both in withdrawal and they're delirious right now, alright take them to a medical iso, level 17, they're stuck in there. And until it wears off and Peter, Jason, Billy, Tony, I want six guards each in both rooms. One of them flips out tell me and we go to sedation, take them away." he said and the groups both nodded as they shoved the duo out of the room as he sighed at this.
"Okay jump forward to when you guys came home and I realized she used a cat nine o'tails on your back. But image by image it's an exact match, as in your case this was multiple injuries. As to why I'm saying this right now, it's because there were multiple line lacerations criss-crossing across your back." Warner said and he nodded as they watched them waiting as the alarm went off as the gate activated right then finally.
As they watched him pacing back and forth in the briefing room as Carson walked in and he turned to him. "How are they?" he asked and he sighed. "Six reactions and the duo have five times the pheromone in their systems. Honestly, the entirety of SG-3 got hit then Johnson, Patterson and Parker. They suffered a seizure from the comedown: speedball effect, looks like they went to the commisary."
"And started drinking, while Johnny lost his temper, and even worse, but of the quintet, only the duo are suffering that side effect of psychosis. But we have to keep them under anger management, but Jerry now. He, Ryan and the president ordered all outgoing calls or incoming called off. Base is on lockdown until we're sure everyone is clean now." he said and Hammond nodded sternly to him at that.
"Probably better that way, so we can prevent them telling West and Vidrine if they believe the two at all, but we set the trap and let them walk into it. Danny would only agree with that idea, that we keep testing Johnny at the moment. But nothing they say on Danny I'm ever going to believe, Danny did his job, they didn't." he said and Carson nodded, just as he was answering the alarm sounded then.
"Well nice cut in there, but 70% of your original team, Paul, was NID and as a result, we decided to leave your former bosses out of this." Sam said and Reynolds nodded sternly and Hammond and Carson walked to the control then and Walter checked the system sighing in relief. "It's SG-1!" he said and Hammond nodded. "Open the Iris!" he said as and Walter slammed his hand down on the control that opened it then.
As the twelve walked back through and Daniel passed him the GDO. "I believe this belongs to you, Sir." he said and Hammond smiled at him. "Nice work son." he said and Daniel smiled, before he could answer him, Lou got a look at his back. "Did anyone notice this, there's blood all over the back of his robes." he snapped as he touched his back. "No don't do that!" Daniel said through gritted teeth as his legs gave out.
"Daniel!" Sam and Anna shouted together as Lou and Jared lowered him to sit on the ramp. "Get a medical team in here, now!" Hammond shouted over his shoulder as he crouched in front of him. "What did she do to you this time, son?!" he said quickly to him and he sighed softly. "That's the part left out of the catch of being a pharoah for a queen goa'uld, they get abusive with their consorts, dad, in fact."
"Though the plan went without a hitch, she thought that I had a hand in helping Sam free Jack from being her first prime and punished me for it." he said as the adrenaline quit on him and he steadied him as Janet and Warner arrived. As Warner cut his shirt open to get a better look. "Oh my god, she's used a whip or some sort of branch on his back, I need 10cc's morphine, stat!" he snapped and the duo nodded.
As Perry loaded a syringe with the amount needed, and gave it to him and he relaxed after five minutes as he leaned forward and Warner steadied him. "Alright again what happened, Janet told me she attacked you, before you told us O'neill let you have it. And out of anger at the time today, but if I know anything the duo are going to turn this around and tell Mackenzie." he told him and he said then gently.
"Her new first prime let me have it with the whip, ten lashes, because without Sam there, she thought I betrayed her, and this was punishment." he said to them and she nodded to him. "These are more then just ten lashes, it looks like someone used a tree branch across your back." Janet snapped gently and Anna got one fast look and her eyes narrowed in anger as she answered her at that remark.
"Not a tree branch, but something just as bad, certain areas of punishment in the valley of the kings, they used a cat O'9 tails on the victim they're punishing. But that's what caused this, the amount of blood lost it takes a week to recover from here. And even then they're sore for two weeks." she said and the two nodded. "Come on, lets get you into the infirmary." Sam said and he nodded to her.
As they helped him up there gently. "Harper, I want four guards on his private room." Janet said and the guard nodded to the order gently at that remark. "And one other thing, wildfire means no one in or out, lock out the damn phones. From anywhere but directly to the joint chiefs for a month. What energy I have, I just drained it all, from this situation." Daniel said with an exhausted tone in his voice.
As Perry helped him stand up as he wrapped his arm across his shoulder. "I wasn't running away from the trauma and decided to run psychological testing. And on those two, but my godfather is your boss, Janet." he told her and she nodded. "General Matheson is your godfather, then what is Jared to you exactly, if General Carson named all three of you." Warner asked him and he explained that.
"My brother, his mother is my godmother, Matheson was my mother's best friend, Dillon is my dad's. Our parents have been together since college, but they were the best of friends. With our fathers all scientist and medical, forensic scholars we took to ideas of brains over brawns and drew up this plan. Test the duo, and the tests came back as they flunked it at the moment here now."
"We decided to run this in a way our fathers would, though I don't know what happened to the third member of our trio. But her name was Anna Matheson, I lost contact with her after the accident, my first foster home. And I ran into her at the Foresters place, before again at the Blacks, but ever since that was it."he said and they nodded as she went over it gently at that news as Anna came in then.
Just as she was saying it they heard a scream of pain then from further down the hall and Daniel nodded. "One of them's suffering detox from this crap right now, or is it just the pain of withdrawal from the damn thing?" he asked and Jared sighed as Anna answered him. "It's both, Jack flipped out the second he heard that he was about to go through another detox and Uncle Jake treated him before."
"Hey you okay, my brother?" she asked and Janet sighed. "He was attacked by her and then he took ten lashes to the back right now, Anna." she told her and she and Jared both nodded."No amoxicillin Janet, penicillin, he's allergic to amoxicillin, he's also allergic to heavy doses of pollen." she said and Janet stroked her hand across back of his neck as he turned his head as Warner stitched up the lacerations.
"I got the test and meaning to it, I know that was faked, what did the duo and Carson tell you to do since O'neill reactivated." Janet asked and he explained that to her. "After his son died he was deactivated and came close to suicide, but he was reactivated without a psych eval. After Hammond reactivated him, and they and Sam brought me home, I made contact with the trio that second day."
"They asked me to run psychological testing on him, but he blew the first one after the virus hit them and they're furious at the fact he lied. Regarding blowing things up on Abydos at the time, but what they're also furious about. In order now but five tests and he flunked them all. And that he brought back a contagion and then attacked me out of jealousy." he said and they nodded to him.
"Well I'd say this made it clear, despite the trauma you're facing it and went to go on a dangerous mission, though you had a concussion. I'm not looking at psyche evals in your case, that was brave and courageous and like George said. There are better ways to complete the mission without death and destruction." they heard and he shifted his position to see Carson come walking in and he smiled.
"Hey Uncle Jake, well I got the results in this mission, tactical knowledge and getting our prototype back. But the virus, followed the cake, then Ry'ac, Nem, Hathor, and he knocks me into the wall again, but he's about to suffer a psychosis. We keep this up and the next one is Teal'C and a judgement day call for him, but I completed the mission." he said to him and they nodded gently to him.
"You may not have told us what you had in mind that though James may see this as you're a megalomaniac. To us, the three of us, the fact you faced down a trauma like this and the fact you were hurt here as well by said trauma. That's high moral fiber, and as was you going to a way that insured you. The 12 of you came back alive, so hopefully we don't have further problems like this."
"But the amount of stunts done as a child is one thing after we saw each other last, but you keep this up. And at the rate this is going I'm not going to make it to my next birthday, son, so take it down a few notches." Carson said and he nodded as he pressed his forehead to the older man's gently at that. And Carson ran his hand through his hair gently in response and their parents nodded to that response.
"So just tell us and send a report to me, Daniel, your computer is locked into the SGA computer forum, which the SGC doesn't have. Starfleet at the time, it was slightly compromised at the moment and with the duo in Isolation. You got to us first, before they could tell Maybourne that lie, him, Mckenzie, West and Vidrine. We got the truth long before they tried to turn it around." Shen said and Addison nodded in agreement.
"Next addition to that is Daniel tells me everything as I decide to take him with us, before you send the rest of his new team along with him, the boys and Beth." Omac said and Lya nodded in agreement to his thoughts. "Before we drop the bomb, SGA is up and running, as we wait for them expose themselves that they never it let go. And then we reveal the truth, said is that the SGA was created to prevent all acts of terrorism."
"Daniel was working for us and our base is civilian ran with military help, not the other way around now, so that's the new timeline. And with the fact Teal'C is with us, from Hathor to Pyrus that solves that problem for good now." Picard said and Hammond and Landry nodded. "Well before we do that, let's just finish reviewing this, so we know what needs to get changed and where." Jacob said and the Jackson quartet smiled at him.
"Alright Sire, here's what's going to happen before I drop by to see you guys now, but this is the confirmation that you'll know these idiots never let it go, and that list. I have, of gate addresses is to prove even Jack is still convinced as a result of said trauma. That I'll tell you later about because I'm not doing it now, but here's the update to my coming out 7 days. And after the Tollan situation now at the moment." he said and Pyrus and the healer nodded as it came on.
"Just what do you expect to get from these people?" he asked and Omac crossed his arms knowing the answer as Maybourne answered him smiling. "Well for one thing superior weapons." he said and John chuckled humorlessly. "They won't cooperate you know." he said and Maybourne had a smug look on his face at that remark. "He was praying I would do something to get me fired here." Daniel said and he nodded sternly at that.
"That's too late for that, as our base was activated, and you were transferring to our network now, where you were safe, as you were able to go see us. And anytime you wanted to know, as you didn't have to hide anything from us here at the time as 80% of the civilian scientists are part of the SGA. And with us every Civilian government network all over the globe, we're all part of the SGA, not SGC." Jordan said smiling with a stern smirk and Landry nodded.
As John paled at that. "You, you're all part of the SGA?" he said in shock and the trio nodded. "We all are, but NID is out numbered 10 to 1, so try to kill him you just gained the wrath of over 3,000,000,000 people here right now." Adam said sternly at that. "And for the record you little punk, what Daniel can do is get us enough of an edge to protect earth from invasion by having our farmers and rural areas exchanged clones in the civilians."
"So unless you're in the military, medical or not, our networks or are politicians, then you're off the planet in case of an attack, we can rebuild. But what matters most is this, but we never lost our population." Dillon said sternly at that and he swallowed hard at that. "Evacuation and clone our people as we're having every town in that state and the other 20 surrounding it, loaded with clones." Adam said and he swallowed hard at a second time at that.
"Issues in this job, you never know when the trouble starts, or the trouble just never lets up right now, but if one of you guys needs a break. And here's my next idea, so though you're taking less time, you're still involved by cloning yourselves Rick, Michael, Mandy, Don." he said and they smiled. "Great idea, our clones can do the job for us, as I got a daughter and we're busy with another project." Anderson said to this and Daniel nodded smiling gently.
"As if that's not enough here, our added problem is this, but what you want a bet that after I recovered from injury, I get thrown back in the infirmary. Again and after getting turned into a host by these things?" he asked and Adam nodded. "No bet, if that did happen for real, if they did come here, and not only did they piss my double off, over Eric. But you as well, and these things lay you out I'm not taking it lightly." he said and Daniel and Parker nodded to that.
"I assure you Major, they will." he said and Omac said it sternly as Picard said it with Q at that as he and Picard exchanged irritated looks on it. "No we won't, until you grew up we will not give you our technology, your kind. To Daniel, and his friends, yes we would as we showed them ways to grow up in advancements as we know they'll use it wisely. You, you're still children playing with dangerous weapons." he said with a stern tone at that remark.
And Hammond walked out of his office with a resigned look on his face. "I take it you couldn't convince Clinton otherwise, but in our timeline, you decided to fake it. As Daniel once again showed them up by humanitarian aid and technology salvage. Which endeared us to Q when he was still in human form at the time Admiral?" Geordi asked and Hammond nodded as they listened to his voice in aggravation at this.
"I was just on the phone with the president, I guess Mister Maybourne was talking to him." he said, and they "I did tell you that I had his ear, General." Maybourne told him and Clinton smirked. "But it was real in that timeline, but in this one, you're faking it." Picard said and Hammond nodded 'And so will Daniel, more highly then you.' he said in answer to that remark as they heard his tone of resignation.
"Colonel Maybourne has full authorization to relocate the Tollan." he said and John nodded, faking a disgusted tone. "Of course he does." he said and Teal'C said it firmly then. "To where will you take them?" he asked him and he explained that. "To a secure community here in the Rockies." he said and they nodded sighing at that. "Nice, forced into intellectual labor." Brandon said in disgust and Jenny finished in anger.
"And life imprisonment." she said in cold tone as they heard their remarks echoed by their adult versions at that as they said it. "Nice little community, with high fences, guards, maybe a little barbed wire." Jack said and they could hear a fake tone of anger in his voice. "They're a valuable asset, they need to be protected." Maybourne said and Daniel repeated his remarks in disgust with his past self.
"Nice, forced into intellectual labor." he said and Sam finished that. "And life imprisonment." she added in disgusted rage at that remark at that. "These aliens will live a better life then most Americans, they'll have a great view. The best food, every convenience, everything they need." he said and Jack nodded. "Everything except a life." he said and Daniel said it with a growl to that firmly as Picard nodded.
"These are not aliens you son of a bitch, thy're welcome on earth anytime they want to come here, but you're the bad guys now." Daniel said sternly at that and Hammond nodded sternly at that. "Two attempts at the bio weapon and this latest one could result in wiping us out, it's not happening." Clinton said sternly at that Hammond. "Terminate his research, George." Addison said sternly and he nodded to the orders as they heard anger then.
"You know the Pentagon, intelligence, that I can understand, but the president, I voted for him!" he said and as they saw him exchange looks with Teal'C, Hammond and Sam as they heard a gentle voice over. "It was then that Daniel decided to break orders as they decided to blackmail him, if they fired him, into a quid pro quo. Omac gave us a hand in this by getting him off the planet and Lya with him at the time now."
"Lose one/gain one and once again Daniel shows them up, nice thinking Colonel." Landry said and Hammond smiled and nodded. 'Guys, stage acting from here, we do this and they're going to use this. And as a reason to fire me, claiming instability, but not letting me leave completely,I got an idea that can help them and me now here.' he said and they heard three voices answer him then as they listened to this gently.
'Whatever idea you have, we use it, as this is 1 step back, so we go 1 step back, and 2 steps forward, we can get technology another way. But humantiarian aid, we must help the Tollans escape." they heard in response as they saw a smile in their eyes at his idea. "General Hammond, get the Tollan ready for transport by 0600." Maybourne said and Hammond crossed his arms as he looked at him sternly at that.
"Keep it going it, son." Hammond said and he nodded as he walked into the room the Tollan were in then gently. "Omac, Narim, could we talk please, I'm not here on orders, I can help you, but I'm not like them, I'm a scholar." he said and Omac looked at him as his eyes softened. "What kind of scholar are you exactly if you wish to help us?" he asked and Daniel went over that as he looked between them.
"Do you know what a archeologist is Omac?" he asked and the older man's eyes widened at that as he answered him. "Study of history, cultures and mythology, yes of course I understand what you are, but what about Captain Carter?" he asked and he explained that. "She's a astrophysicist, theoretical astrophysics, being in the military backs you into a wall, but if we stage act this now, Omac."
"Not only does that prove that not all of us are like what you think, we can get you in with a more advanced race just like you, but we came across two races. Ones that are just like you, one was the Nox and the other the Asgard, but here's the reason I'm saying this. But did you ever, in all your years, ever bump into a Goa'uld queen?"he asked him and the man's eyes hardened at the question.
"Once or twice, but the most dangerous of all was the queen Hathor, the Tok'ra drugged her, locked her up. And buried her in one of your stair stepping pyramids, why do you ask?" he asked and Daniel ran his hand through his hair."Because she got to Major O'neill and another full soldier just like him nearly three months ago, and my boss, General Hammond, and his bosses now."
"They are military officers just like him, but they're all former soldiers in their prime and they've turned the torch over to me and my generation now. They gave the mission to retrieve this GDO over to me, and as a result. When infected with the pheromones, they've been drugged and claiming I was the traitor. But the evidence was there on the camera, the girls intended to neutralize her."
"And by that I mean Hathor, and they arrested the girls and Teal'C was put to death, all the evidence was right there on the cameras and to top it off. Is that while I only just told him the truth he attacked me and gave me a concussion. And to Hammond, my doctors: Drs. Frasier and Warner, and my uncle, who is a medical therapist skilled in rehabilitation, but that did it now for them."
"That though over the worst of that addiction, the psychosis is still there, and they were hoping for a way to prove I was a traitor so they can get rid of me. But to them it's all in or not at all." he said and Omac rested his hand on his shoulder."They dismiss you, but do not let you go completely, so you free us and in exchange we help you to freedom, I understand, Dr. Jackson, so we fake this."
"Are the Nox going to know what you do if you suggested this idea?"he asked and Daniel nodded to him gently. "Yes, but is there a way to send that message to them, without going to the control room?"he asked and Omac nodded. "Yes, what time is it outside though?" he asked and Daniel smiled. "It's still daylight, but it's 1400 in the afternoon here in our time zone."he said and Omac gave a gentle nod.
"We must wait till dark, and I mean at the hour we did it in the night of my test with your team leader, and then we can send it. If your program is based on secrecy someone is going to see the light as a shooting star across the skies. But tell your trio and General Hammond, I will help you with your performance of this now." he said and Daniel nodded to the request gently at that remark then.
As they watched Hammond go up top to meet up with Jack's twin and the trio and said it gently to them. "Alright Major, you want to tell me why I'm up here?" he asked and John nodded. "Because Maybourne isn't, Sir." he said and Sam nodded. "Sir we wanted to talk about what we could do to keep Maybourne from taking the Tollan." she said and and Teal'C finished that gently as he looked at him then gently.
"General, we must insure the Tollans escape." he said and Hammond said it gently. "I can't let you do that, we'd all be court martield." he said and John answered. "General I'm about a hair away from not caring, however, Daniel..." he said trailing and Daniel said it then. "I can't be court martialed." he said and Hammond loked at John, who raised his eyes brows gently as they heard a voice over at that.
"I know what you're doing young man, but it's too late, we got the trap rigged and set right now, so just you wait." Hammond said, voicing his thoughts out loud at that with a stern tone in his voice for the crew's benefit. As it jumped forward 6 hours as Omac was pacing back and forth firmly as he said it. "The one you call Maybourne was here, questioning my people, wanting us to take some kind of tests."
"And you expect me to trust you." he said and Daniel said it gently. "Please, Maybourne is from another division of our government. And my group is trying to protect you from him." he said and Omac nodded. "Well you're not doing a very good job." he said and Daniel sighed as he said it truthfully. "No I guess not."he said and Omac said it gently to that as he looked at him then as he said it to that.
"Do you have a new place for us to go to?" he asked and Daniel sighed. "Well..., no." he said and Omac nodded as he answered him. "Then we have nothing else to say." he said and Daniel blurted it out as he turned away from him. "Well okay, I know a perfect place you could go, I just don't know how to get you there." he said quickly to him at that and Omac and Narim turned to him at that.
"Then why do you speak of it." Narim said and Daniel sighed. "Because I was hoping you had the technology to get there." he said and Omac nodded. "Is this just another trick to get our technology?" he asked and Daniel moved to him. "This was a good way to give the news to him." Guinan said and Hammond nodded. "No it's not, listen to me, there was a group people just as advanced as you are."
"Maybe even more advanced, they were called the Nox." he said and Omac exchanged looks with Narim. "More like beyond advanced, as they are one of the races against the system lords and like the Q continuum. They despise the acts of threat and force, we, being Major O'neill, failed our first test. So we got a second chance to get it right." Hammond said smiling and the two near 18 year olds swallowed hard at that.
"If you went there, why can't we?" he asked and Daniel sighed. "After attempting to arrest Apophis, Daniel said they should seal the gate." Jacob said to that question gently. "Because they think about us, in the same way you do, calling us very young, which is a hair more polite then calling us primitive, but same idea, I guess. Anyway they sealed their stargate and I don't know how to communicate."
"With them, to get it open." he said and Omac nodded to him. "Do you know where the planet is?" he asked and Daniel nodded. "Yes I have the coordinates right here." he said and Omac nodded."Then we must go back up the mountain top."he said and Daniel sighed at that. "Really uh I can't, I can't, I can't get you out of here." he said and Omac said it gently to him at they nodded gently at that remark.
"That is not a problem." he said as Narim looked at him concerned at that remark."Give me your hand." he said and Daniel and Narim looked at him in shock."What?" he said and he went over it. "Do you wish to come or not." he said and Daniel nodded and took his hand as he activated a control on his device. And the wall turned into a nanowall as Daniel looked at the wall, and the sextet of admirals chuckled.
Just before Omac pulled him through at that gently. "Every scientist has this reaction, as first it was the gate now this when you go through it for a first time. But the Tollan never used their equipment all that time that my version of the SGC was growing up. So as a result the wonders of the gate lost their allure, but technology from the sextet. Not so much at the moment." Hammond said and the Next Generation admirals nodded, smiling.
Once on the mountain top, Daniel and Omac are walking through the woofs then, and Omac stopped and looked up at the stars."The coordinates." he said and Daniel gave them to him, before Omac read them, nodded and removed a device from his shoulder. And set it on the ground then, as Daniel crouched down next to him and as he dialed in the coordinates to the device and pressed a button as a light shot out of it then.
And went flying into the sky, before they saw a gentle flash then. "Listen I'm no astronomer, but won't that take thousands of years to reach the Nox world." he said and Omac said it gentl at that. "Why would it?" he asked and Daniel answered him gently. "Well that's just a laser, right?, I mean light takes a long time to travel that far." he said Omac smiled gently at thwt as he answered him at that remark.
"The distance between two points, seems far." he said as he bent the branch to create a circle. "Until you do this." he said as he touched the two sides together. "Okay, okay, I remember this from College physics, a scientist named Einstein explained this the very same way, you are talking about actually folding space." he said amd Omac sighed as he answered him at the remark then gently at that.
"You do not understand." he said and Daniel nodded, sighing. "No I guess not, but time and patience and I will." he said and Omac smiled gently. "Yes, given time and patience and you will, you have much to see and much to experience. But do not hurry the knowledge that you seek, as that knowledge takes it's own time right now." he said as he rested his hand on his shoulder as they looked at the stars then.
"I know those weapons were training weapons that you and Teal'C were carrying with you, and Sam and Jack with you, they were holstered. You and George passed our test, but Jack's twin failed the test at the moment. But violence is never the answer, you were taught to preserve life, not take it. But the duo are very close to being exposed, but as long as NID controls things."
"And as long as Makepeace and Jack's twin, Mckenzie and others, continues to hold onto this psychosis on you. Then we will continue to see your full soldiers as primitive, or very young, in Lya's words. You have learned so much, but still the very beginning of your journey, but tonight. It marks the beginning of a new life for you, the SGA is ready to be opened." he added and Daniel nodded, smiling.
"Q loved Daniel like a son, he earned his trust, as they spent that entire three hours on the mountain talking at the time." Landry said smiling as he watched them together. "There's a side of him I never seen before, so this was before the power went right to his head at the time." Will said and he nodded to him as the crew exchanged smiles at this. "Alright let's keep it going, so let's hit it when you dropped the act now here, Admirals."
"Before you revealed the civilian and military members of every country in the program were preparing to assemble and get into the stargate program. As the base was now open for business as we got the SGA up and running now finally." Beverly said and he nodded smiling as he did that. "Now I'll need at least one unit of escorts in the rear transport."he said, before there was a knock at the door and Hammond said it quickly.
"Come!" he said and Grace Rivers came in. "General Hammond, Sir, the refugees..., they disappeared." he said and Maybourne looked at her in shock."What do you mean disappeared." he said and she said it gently. "I mean like poof! Sir, they went through the walls." she said and he nodded. "I thought I said to post guards in the room to prevent that from happening again." he said and she nodded to him.
"I take it she was finding this funny right now that their disappearing acts were beginning to annoy him and the NID members on the base at the time?" Bates said as he tried to keep from laughing at this and he nodded smiling. "Yeah I was in fact this couldn't have come at a better time right now, we all hated these guys with a passion here. But our outfits kept to ourselves and excluded NID on missions so SGC/SGA together and they're segregated from us."
"So the fact that Omac chose now to annoy them, I was trying to control my voice as I told the general this." Grace Rivers said as she started laughing at this memory as Hammond said it then gently as looked at her with an amused look then. "Yes and so were my SG-1, Lou, Charlie, Daniel's unit, that's your Johnny's team and the trio. They were all finding this funny right now and as we tried to keep from laughing at this situation at the time."
"That this was like trying to catch a bird hiding in the system as you got repeated decoys and the alarm going off or the cat was in the tubes. Or, if Wesley decides to do this by playing games with whoever hijacks the ship next, Jean Luc. And it's by repeated false alarms in your quarters at the moment, as your targets are playing games with you right now." He said as they heard the base alarm go off within five minutes of her saying it.
"We were in the room Sir, I stood in their path myself." she said and he nodded. "And?" he asked and she explained it to him. "They went right through me, Sir." she said and Hammond looked at her amazement, and as the alarm went off and Harriman's partner, Sergeant Charlie Felton called out over the radio. "Attention all personnel, offworld activation, unknown source." they heard in response to that news gently.
And Hammond nodded and headed downstairs said as he said it to Jack and Sam at that news. "Alright what the hell is going on exactly?" he asked and Harriman explained that as he tried to fix the sudden surge in the system. "The mainframe is having a nervous breakdown." he said and Jack explained that. "We had this happen after sending a MALP to Abydos, and the system was screaming bloody murder."
"And from the information overload, then again, having sudden megabytes of input like this going into it's A.I.. This is too much for a very young computer system like our dialing computer to take." He said and Hammond nodded as Sam tried to keep from laughing at that remark. "Yeah that's an understatement, but nice way of putting it right now, Jack." Jenny said as she started laughing at his remark then.
"You remember it having a nervous breakdown and it screaming bloody murder when we opened her to Abydos?" Daniel asked and they all started laughing and nodded. "Yeah I get you're adjusting to being used again girl, but that's no reason for that reaction." Sam said as she started laughing at that. "I'll say, but at least nothing is having a nervous breakdown from being screwed around with, case in point is Barclay's programme." Will said with a chuckle to that.
As Hammond answered him at that news. "Well why is the blast shield down, get it up." he said and Sam activated it to reveal the Tollan, Daniel and Teal'C standing there as John walked in then at that. "What are they doing, how did they get here." he said and Harriman quickly said it to Hammond. "Gate's dialing, chevron 6 engaged." he said and Maybourne said it into the Radio to Daniel as he realized it then quickly.
"Dr. Jackson, this is Colonel Maybourne, what you're doing is a court martialable offense." he said and lifted his hand, to his ear, as though he was straining to him then and Jack hid a smirk then. "Well Jack knows he's faking that response right now at the moment." Picard said with a smile to that remark and response to it then as they heard Jack's responding remark that sentence then gently at that warning then
"He's not in the military colonel, and I think it would kind of hard to find a civilian law to cover this." he said and Landry nodded as they heard a gentle thought. 'If it wasn't for the fact the we created the SGA, he would have been fired.' they heard in a sigh of relief. "If we never created the SGA, then yes it would have, but the Tollan are now my jurisdiction, the SGA is active and you are out of luck, Maybourne."
"The Federation has now activated itself and the IOA just over ruled his orders to take them with him now." he said and as they heard the answer. "Oh that is too good now, the IOA just formed and created the SGA as our base community. Our sector and our new home-town is now fully active at the moment and our grandparents. They were preparing to switch sectors that day, finally." Wesley said smiling and Landry nodded to him at that.
"I will have you removed from this program forever if you do this!" Maybourne shouted and Hammond nodded. "Wherever you send them, we'll hunt them down." Maybourne said with a threatening tone. "Daniel, you better get going, you got your bags packed, because your transfer orders are ready to go, son!" Hammond called out and he nodded. "Sir Yes Sir, just waiting for our guest to arrive right now and with her."
"It's my new military boss at the moment." he said and the trio looked at him in shock at that remark. "Go, go where?!" John asked quickly and Daniel smiled. "I've been re-assigned for the duration now that we let them go, you're removing me. And from the base-line program, fine, I just been re-assigned anyway, the SGA base. It's ready, I been assigned there." he said and John quickly said it to that at the fact he'd been played.
"You're leaving, you can't do that, you broke orders?" he snapped and before Hammond could answer him, they heard a stern tone to that as a new voice entered the conversation at that. "And we're not sending them anywhere, the gate was activated of world, someone is sending for them." Sam said slowly and he said it. "Who?" Maybourne asked and a second later a woman with wild hair walked through.
As she stood there in front of the gate and smiled. "Hello." she said and Daniel ran up to her. "Hello Lya." he said and in a fast remark, that screamed desperation. "All personnel in the gate room, this is Colonel Maybourne. I've got a presidential order to take the aliens with me, do not let them pass, use force if necessary." he said and all the S.F.'s raised their weapons and Daniel sighed at that in annoyance.
And looked at her, with a bemused look and she nodded in agreement. "Your race has learned nothing." she said sternly to that response then and Makepeace and John flinched at that as she looked at Daniel, Teal'C, SG-1 and Hammond gently as they saw the pleased smile at that. "But you have, the Tollan are most welcome to the Nox, please come." she said and they smiled as Omac patted his shoulder at that response as he said it to him.
As he looked at Hammond, Jack and Sam, before looking at Teal'C and Daniel smiling gently, as John stood there in shock at the fact his chance had been blown it then. "Narim was right about you, Samantha, perhaps someday in time, we will meet again." he said as they were getting ready to go. 'Good bye my friend.' Narim said to her softly and she answered him. 'Bye.' she said in response as she stood up then gently at that.
"Stop, take one more step, and I'll be forced to have them open fire." Maybourne snapped and she shook her head sadly at that, as Jack looked at him in disgust at that. And as she closed her eyes and brought her arms into a circle, as she activated it purely on mind control. "Come." she said as the Tollan went up one by one at that as Jack looked at Daniel as he smiled at him gently at that response then as he said it.
'"You got plenty of food with you, water, medical supplies?" he asked and Daniel smiled and nodded. "I got five sets of clothes, matching the terrain and with them clean normal clothes and socks, I'll be okay, my brother." he said and Jack nodded in relief as Maybourne shouted it out. "Fire, fire!" he snapped and the guns all got yanked out of their hands as they all went through the gate as Jack smiled at that.
"God I love those people." he said smiling as they looked at Maybourne who had a furious look on his face at this as Omac stayed put as he watched him leave the room. As Jack, Sam and Hammond smiled as they went to join Daniel. "You did good Daniel." he said and Daniel smiled. "What of Maybourne?" Teal'C asked him and she said it with a chuckle then. "Oh, he is not a happy camper." she said and Hammond nodded gently.
"There'll be hell to pay once he gets back to Washington." he said as he moved to the system and hit a few keys then as a new section just above the briefing room opened as Jack looked at the thoughtful look on Daniel's face. "What?" he asked and Daniel smiled. "Oh I was just thinking about what the little guy with the funny hair once told us." he said and Jack chuckled as he answered him as he quoted it then.
"The very young do not always do as they're told." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah." he said and the trio nodded smiling as they stood there together. "What have you done Jackson, you realize that you blew our best chance of fullfiling our mandate." Makepeace snapped and he crossed his arms. "By holding innocent people hostage, yeah I realize that, but then they are our allies, my friends."
"I will not hold my friends hostage for the sake of selling my soul to save earth right now." he said, they were looking at him in shock. "So we were right, you are a traitor and a Goa'uld sympathizer." he snapped and Daniel said it coldly. "No what I am is man who believes in basic human rights, regardless of the country's jurisdiction. And screw you, Robert, at least I never attacked anyone." he snapped back at him and they nodded.
"And for the record I am not the one that committed espionage, I told Omac and Narim about Hathor and you just exposed your thinking to us about me. Nothing's changed in two months and Uncle Rob is still working here as the base psychiatrist, so watch it gentlemen, you're the traitors and a murderer." he added and they tried to keep from paling as they watched Maybourne walk in then.
"Never told them the truth did you, you lied and turned it around, saying I committed espionage, I tried to kill myself. But with the evidence splattered all over the cameras, we're showing the truth. And to West and Vidrine in the end after we get rid of all of you, but I win, gentlemen." Daniel said sternly and they swallowed hard at that as Jack crossed his arms sternly as he went off at that remark.
"Never mind under the influence, you hated the fact that Sam questioned your decisions, your beliefs that she was on our side, and you get burned by it. That she, Hathor, is nothing but a leach, you been played by a master manipulator. I will find the resistance queen and when I do it really is the enemy of my enemy. Now, but the enemy of my enemy is my friends, so tell me now, gentlemen."
"Where do you two and Maybourne fall into that, you're Sam and Jack's enemy, and you're mine. So therefore your enemies are us and we are friends, the best of friends now, to you. Teal'C and the Jaffa wanting freedom are just as much your enemy as the renegades. But do you know where that thinking lands you here, because you're still in psyche?" he said to them and the duo paled at that as they tried to control it then.
"It gets you thrown in Leavenworth for mass genocide, and attacking Teal's people and his family. That could destroy the entire earth human race, you not get that, as is attacking every planet in the galaxy. There are innocent people we made friends with, you want a war, you got it with the renegades now. But the primary players, the system lords are all innocent of the attack the night."
"When on the base last year, you triggered that by sabotaging us, my units, your own soldiers were killed with their hands in the cookie jar. Porro, Reilly, Brown and Freeman's brothers were murdered in the attacks. Following them is 80 members of Abydos, Ketering and four soldiers when Apophis attacked. The base, and three to six others after Apophis attacked the base and our camp."
"But you know the reasn I was happy, before you guys came into the picture and ruined the enjoyment us scientists have for this program. It's because we're not arguing with you repeatedly, we can study it all. And to our heart's content, and why do you suppose you're segregated from us and Jack. Your own brother sided with us, huh, he hates this too." he said and the duo swallowed hard.
As Omac gripped Daniel's shoulder protectively as Narim went through the gate along with the guns then. "You are relieved of duty effective immediately, Dr. Jackson!" Maybourne snapped out and the duo smiled in cruel delighted glee that was cut short and as Hammond said it with a stern smirk to him then at that remark as he said it. "Oh that's too late for that actually, why am I dressed in blue, rather than green now?" he asked and they all paled.
"Hey girl, time to come down." he called out and his jumper levitated down to sit next to him and he leaned against it as it's engine started purring in response. "We're going home now, time to return to snow base, along with the rest of the team. But General Landry, he's just activated our home base, and our side, we all relocated. And back to where you came from, snowbase." he said to it and it purred happily at that and Hammond chuckled
"SGA's open now out in the Antarctic, that's why I cleaned out my locker here right now, everything. And I mean everything in my office was sent to SGA, So I'm no longer military ran with civilian help. But rather civilian with military help, better payroll, good hours and no more constant peril." he said and they paled all further. "And it's too late, Colonel, I put through his resignation papers, he quit his job here."
"Before you could give that order, that order and threat to him." he said and Maybourne look at him on shock as Makepeace and John did the same thing. "Where's he going, if he's got two duffle bags on him?!" Makepeace said in shock to the news. "Daniel switch it here right now, instead of going to live with them, we're relocating starting now. And taking the entire fleet of jumpers with us, everything in the gate room here, we got it there now."
"And the military housing are connected to each other, so we can keep the apartments warm, we're perfectly happy this way now." Landry said and he nodded. "We're loading our team jumper for relocation, Walter open up the roof, we're leaving here. But the SGA missions start tomorrow, we're searching out a new pay off. And we're starting with Gaea now." Daniel called out and Harriman nodded as the roof of the base opened then.
