Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Swordsmen Thief. Enjoy the 2700-word chapter. I do not own any rights to Fairy Tale, Hiro Mashima, Kodansha, and a few others that I may write about.

If there was anything Clell was scared for? It was the idea that Erza had no end to her strength, that her weaknesses were nothing and he had encountered a steel beam which could not be beaten down.

Then again? Erza Scarlet was one person he did not at all ever take lightly. He seemed to take it for now, there was something else going on, and she could not have been willing to act according to it… There was something else on the line… It made little sense, something that would not have stood… But then again?

He acted according to his station… And leaped backward, throwing himself to the side as if he was dodging lightning… And to him? He was more or less… For this was still chaotic enough to have been tearing him up.

"You, ok?" Erza heard before she paused to think.

"I do not know… You did not break any ribs?" Clell questioned before he paused to look downwards.

He had been willing to act, to fight for now… And he would not wish to do something for now, he had been too unwilling to have been done for now.

He had been too chaotic, too disturbed within the notions of things… He had been too thrown off, too unwilling to deal with it for now.

"You should know that we are going to be fighting down and dirty… For a much longer time than needed." Erza stated to which she paused, thought to have been prepared for now.

She would continue to fight, she sliced through the air before she went to slice downwards at him, only pausing to be thrown backward… For he could not fight her at the same level of power.

The kick she launched almost tossed him through the wall, she would not have been able to relax if it hit properly… But it did not, it did not even seem to bring it crashing down to the ground.

"Are you willing to do something so easily brought down… Or am I just too easily?" Erza heard as Clell paused, rubbing at his ribs as he did so…

He laughed, knocking that he was not a match for her now. He retreated, trying his best to retreat, to go further downwards and into the depths, he had been too interested in her and how they fought.

It felt a lot less than fighting and more like dancing like he had been too willing to dance a dance with her he could not win.

Yes, something that had bothered him was too much, far too much he could not have allowed. Yes, it meant something to him to have to relax. There was chaos and he thrived in it, even now… Especially when it came down to something that even he could not have allowed.

Yes, there was just too much, chaos which had to deal with for now. That sort of pain and suffering for be for nothing in the end.

He dodged the blade from her but then was sent stumbling by her next blade as she was sent flying after him in a way that almost shredded him to pieces. He knew just how to push her buttons.

She went skidding after him and he blocked a kick with his forearms only for him to attempt to sweep his left leg out.

"What is it with you and less clothing every blasted time?" He questioned.

"Less clothing means less armor and less armor means dealing with something you cannot handle. The more you try? The more you will be unable to deal with my speed since I am faster by default. I will outmatch you. I will cut through you like paper if you push me." Erza stated.

She knew what was going on. She knew what was going on as she kicked at him, pushing him back with each footstep before he was forced to try and kick her back.

Both knew what was going on and knew their dance of death was going to end. It would do so only as they continued to fight.

He had not been bored, tired was not the same thing to him and he had been pushed far enough to push back. He was not going to let her stop him… Not now at least.

Yeah, he was going to enjoy this and it would be something to deal with… He was growing to be dealt with and he was going to be dealt with well and well.

Such was life for her… She knew how to fight and she knew what the next move was. It would be something fun for him now at the end of the day.

"You are not going to win, Ms. Scarlet… Because I have been good at fighting and I am good enough to fight you off." Clell stated before he sighed and rubbed at his aching ribs.

He had no idea how powerful she was and she knew that she could keep growing more and more tiresome. Erza was something else and that was impressing upon him that she was a warrior beyond all, she was like a shark feeding on the weaker elements.

Perhaps he had underestimated her but it was not like he knew her enough to understand what she was like and how it was going to have been, and that alone was enough to push him over the edge. He knew what had come and what had gone now… He had been familiar to try and deal with, such a thing was going on at the end of the day.

He had been pushed to the edge. He would keep being dealt with a heavy dose of snark at the end of the day, he had been dealt with for now, dealing with something that could be dealt with.

All of it hurt more and more and he twirled his swords knowing what was growing on his mind before he relaxed before he clicked his fingers as he paused thinking for now.

He relaxed only for now, knowing what was growing for now as he paused, thinking for now as he clicked his fingers.

He paused, only guessing what had come and gone to have been enough of a battle for now, knowing what would become of it.

He clicked his fingers, sighing as he guessed what the battle was happening as he clicked his fingers before glancing at the time.

He did not have the desire to fight but he would fight her more and more with his power as he charged forward, leaping to the side, knowing that she would continue to define him.

He slammed into her arms first, throwing them both down the slope and then following her, not even giving her a second to move and act, he could just do that. He would be able to win so he did so.

There was such a thing where he could fight but he was giving himself a hard time enough trying to fight at the juncture he was on.

He sighed, knowing damn well what he had unchained from the depths and knowing she would offer no mercy if he had any left to try and relax, to do something knowing what would become as of it when it came down to it.

There were a few seconds on his mind, a few seconds for now as he tossed himself at her, slamming into her in a giant second before he cut down at her.

She locked her legs around his hips, forcing him to fight her in the most direct way possible. He could not argue with that, knowing what was going on at the same time, all he could do was block stabs which almost diced up his damn flesh like a kabob.

She was skilled and she knew it, she knew even he at the height of his power could not stop her and it was bugging him to know that.

He had been too unable to deal with it, knowing what was going on and being more and more annoyed at it either damn way.

There was something there that would not be dealt with for now, he did not even know what it was. She was not human even a little and this girl was prime proof of that.

He had zero desire to end it, desire idea of what would come because of it, knowing what would come from it.

If she wanted a fight so badly? He would give her one, that was all he could offer her as a result. There was no end to the limit of power she had with it all seemed to be making it hard to figure out for now.

All of it would do would amuse him while he paused to think of what he would do next before he sighed to try and figure it out once again… All in all? He held no real value in it for now.

This was not to be done with, not so easily as he dodged her blade, forcing her to try and pin his foot only for him to dodge. He knew her and knew she was not going to be able to figure it out now, there were a lot of blades flying toward him, and not all of them were so easily dodged by him.

She swiped at his face and he dodged around her, knowing that she was as dangerous as she looked, she knew him and knew damn well that this fight was not over. He dodged a stab and was kicked, her foot feeling like he had to deal with it for now.

To be fair? He held his own, blocking and tossing her hits aside…. But he could not dodge forever and Erza was far more than willing to stab at him until he was torn into pieces by it…. He was lucky she did not want him dead because otherwise? There were a lot of things that he feared.

She? She was not one of these things, and he knew she was not going to have been at all if he was lucky. She tackled him and they slammed into the ground but she did her best not to harm him. He looked over at her, knowing damn well that she could have easily gutted him.

It did very little to offset the insanity of their fight but it did remind him that he had to be more and more on edge lest he dies from it…. It stung but it stung in its way for now.

Such was life…. And life? It was good, very good. There was chaos, a madness that needed to be ended within it for now. He could not understand her and that worried him more than it should have.

Yes, it seemed life had a very funny way of ending it now and ending which had to be ended for now. He looked over at her with but a moment.

"You are skilled. Yet? You are not a warrior yet. If you act like this? The only path left is dying for nothing." Erza heard as she sighed and then shook her head.

She knew it to the end; she knew that such things were going to have been done and dusted. It would not have ended it for now… Not once could he have done it now, there was something that needed to be done now.

He had a lot more to try and figure it all out as he came down the load at the end of the line and that would not change even for a second at that very moment when it comes down to it.

Even he at the best of it could not do much be thrown to the side as he paused to try and figure out what was going down the line.

He would not be able to think of what was going on now as he sighed and then thought best of what was growing.

He had been too eager, too thrown off for now as he thought of himself and he thought of what she was doing. He thought long and hard of all such things, of all he could see and do, it was all too much.

She did not know what was growing on her mind before she looked once more and she figured it out as of now. Erza seemed to be prepared for the next combative little conquest as she paused to let herself think.

She thought of her next moment before she slashed at him and tried to force him backward as she wished to try and understand him.

She looked to the side as both she and Clell circled with each of them seeming to be thinking of what was going on at the end of the moment.

He had not once seemed to be willing to serve as of now, he had been willing to try and to figure.

"You know if you want to fight? You are going to have to fight while it comes down to it, you cannot simply pretend when it comes to it." Erza stated before she sighed.

"And you know I am not a warrior, I am a thief, I am someone who sticks around. I do not know how to fight when it is all said and done, I will not be able to match you step for step, I will not be able to properly figure this out." Erza heard.

Chell was silent, she would not believe him at the end of the day, knowing what was going on at the end of the day.

She had been too eager to fight, she had been too thrown off now, not knowing what was occurring and all he could do was fight, it was clear they would require fighting.

Clell and Erza seemed to still be prepared for combat, there was a lot of amusement when it was all said and done.

She did not know when it was all said and done. She did not know what Clell was going to be doing but she did wish to understand what he had done.

Yes, it seemed to be something that she could have wished to try and know why Clell was eager to try and think of it in different terms once more.

If anything? She had been too distracted for now as she paused, wishing to know what drove him as a soldier and knew what had been through and amusing now.

Clell was not stupid and he would have allowed anything to have gotten in the way when it came down the line. He was not that stupid, not enough to question the woman who ended up being put in this position now.

They had a LOT more things to discuss and he was able to think and to act. He would not win this fight, yet? He would be able to try and stalemate her at the very least.

He had a LOT more to try and figure out, however. He paused to backpedal, to toss himself to the next tree branch as Erza followed him, tossing herself downwards to another floor.

She tossed herself to the branch, slicing it all up around him as she advanced on him, pausing to think of each little moment as she lanced out with another kick, tossing him to the side as she tossed one of her blades at him.

Clell dodged the sword which slammed into the tree behind him, he paused, thinking of it to the end, and he ducked a slice only to be punched straight off the branch.

He was tossed to another branch, she wished it to have been when it came crashing to the ground.

She advanced, kicking up her sword using her foot as she glanced at him, pausing to think.
