Lala took on a more serious tone: "If those two found us, then the others must also know that I'm here now."

"It's alright, you can stay here, I'll help in any way I can," Light said, trying to reassure her.

"Light...!" Lala seemed touched by Light's eagerness to help.

Although she was aware that he might already know the real reason for her presence there, Lala, while she may seem naive and innocent, is very astute. She noticed he didn't 'know' that she could hear the voice of his heart. Wanting to investigate more about this, she chose to remain silent. Besides, it was fun for her to hear it without him knowing.

Then, she made an ambiguous remark: "Light, I know we've just met, but I already like you. Do you like me?"

Of course, she was implying something romantic, but even Himari didn't catch that. However, Light did, but, obviously, pretended he didn't.

"Yes, I do like you," Light smiled at her.

Lala's eyes sparkled. She memorized everything. Inside, she was elated that her plan had worked.

"Light! I'm so happy!" Lala released Peke, who floated in the air, and then hugged Light.

Caught off guard by the unexpected embrace from the beautiful and innocent Lala, Light didn't remain still and hugged her back, until Himari intervened.

"Break it up!" She placed herself between the two. "Lala, you can't just suddenly embrace the young master like that."

Pouting at being interrupted, Lala asked, with an incredulous tone: "Really? I don't think so..."

"You can't!" Himari declared confidently.

"Mm... Really?" Lala still seemed unwilling to believe Himari's words.

"Let's go outside," Light said, interrupting the squabble between the two.

Himari, who had felt a fluctuation of energy in the air, identifying it as coming from a huge, odd object, agreed: "Yes, let's."

"He's here..." Lala murmured behind them, but soon flashed a happy smile.

Himari grabbed the leg of each of the unconscious men and dragged them along.

When they reached the outside, a gigantic spaceship was floating in the air.

"Young master, brace yourself, I don't think it's going to be as simple this time," Himari warned, feeling that someone much more powerful than the two men they had just faced was inside the spaceship.

"Hehehe~ Don't worry, it's not that serious," Lala downplayed. "Actually, it's not as bad as you think. I'm being pursued by order of my father. They are my father's subordinates, just like Zastin, who is on the spaceship."

Lala was full of ideas; at first, she thought about letting them fight Zastin, but later reconsidered, after all, she had her own reasons and plans.

"Really?" Himari now seemed a bit skeptical. She released the legs of the two men, who fell to the courtyard ground.

Then, a light emanated from the spaceship, and a man began to descend from it. Once he was fully descended, the man was clearly visible.

"Zastin," Lala called out his name.

Zastin had gray hair and blue eyes, wore demonic armor, and sported a cape.

"Lala-sama, I've come to retrieve you," Zastin said with a stern expression. He had already noticed his two subordinates knocked out, but showed no emotion.

"I'm not going back," Lala stated defiantly.

"Lala-sama, enough running, let's go home!" Zastin lost his patience, speaking with a tone of reprimand.

"I don't want to!" Lala was stubborn.

"I already have a fiancé now, I have no reason to go back and go through all that over and over again!" Lala declared, moving forward and gripping Light's arm.

"F-Fiancé!?" Himari was the first to react to that news.

"Lala-sama's fiancé?" Zastin seemed confused, his tone even lowering.

"Yes, fiancé," Lala said, brimming with pride. In her mind, she added: 'Humph! I don't care, I control my own life, I won't do what my thoughtless father wants!'

"H-How did this happen?" Zastin was incredulous.

Lala, squeezing Light's arm even tighter against her chest, said: "I'll never forget. The passionate confession when Light touched my breasts and looked warmly at me."

"Did that really happen?" Zastin looked towards Light.

"Yes," Light didn't deny it.

Himari, meanwhile, was doubting everything.

"So, according to the traditions of Planet Deviluke and official procedures, you became Lala-sama's fiancé," Zastin sighed. He continued, "But, Lala-sama, he confessed to you and you accepted?"

"No, I confessed first, and he accepted," Lala replied with a goofy and innocent smile. "I said I like him, and he said he likes me, so the deal is sealed!"

"I see," Zastin understood. He looked gravely at Light: "So, when you touched Lala-sama's breasts, you completed the official engagement ceremony of Planet Deviluke, correct?"

"It's alright, Zastin!" Lala answered for him. "Light isn't that kind of irresponsible person."

"Really?" Zastin shifted his gaze from Lala and stared at Light again.

"If that's the case, I'm willing," Light agreed.

"Young master..." Himari, on the other hand, felt disheartened.

Though she knew she wouldn't be the only one by her master's side, it was hard for Himari to swallow and accept that he had become engaged for the second time to such a beautiful woman. What made it worse was that she even somewhat liked Lala, unlike his other fiancée, but that didn't mean she would take it well.

"It's okay, Himari," Lala said suddenly. "Both of us can be Light's brides, and everyone will be happy together~!"

Himari didn't reply, just sighed.

Lala already knew they had something more. After all, she had heard the voice of Light's and Issei's hearts, even heard the one-sided confrontation from Light and Issei's end, so she wasn't entirely oblivious. Yet, she still chose Light.

Apart from wanting to escape a forced marriage, she also felt very good by Light's side. The closer and longer she was with him, the more pleasant it became.

Zastin found it normal that Light accepted this. After all, Lala was beautiful and the princess of Planet Deviluke. Though he didn't think Light should've known this beforehand, based solely on Lala's appearance and personality, he was confident any man would fancy her.

Zastin then said, "Future Lord, you need to be aware that by marrying Lala-sama and becoming the successor to Planet Deviluke's governance, you'll rule the entire galaxy!" He emphasized, "It's not a task for the weak-hearted! Now that you understand, good luck."

With a closed-eye smile, still holding onto Light's arm, Lala said, "Now that you're informed. I'm in your care, Light."

"Likewise," Light replied.

"Hehe~" Lala sported a goofy and innocent smile, reflecting her genuine happiness.

Raising an eyebrow, he soon smiled.

"Lala-sama, congratulations!" Peke exclaimed, flying around them.

"Peke, thank you~" Lala thanked with the same radiant smile.

Zastin, soon after, withdrew, carrying the unconscious bodies of Maul and Smutts.

After Zastin departed in the spaceship, Light said, "Ok, let's go inside."

"Young master…" Himari looked like she had something to say.

"Himari." Light looked at her. His eyes conveyed depth and affection: "Nothing will change, you need to trust me."

"...Ok." Himari reflected for a moment before finally agreeing.

She wasn't insensitive, she understood her position, and after everything she heard, she realized Lala couldn't be underestimated. Her status was even more astounding than that of Rias Gremory, to whom her young master had become a servant.

Though the term 'servant' was a bit distasteful to her, she believed the young master only wanted to become a Devil because it benefitted him; otherwise, she didn't believe he would've done so wanting to submit to another person. Moreover, sooner or later, with the young master's strength, she believed he might be able to shed the title of 'Rias Gremory's servant'.

As Light and Himari cleaned the house, organizing everything, a room for Lala was quickly tidied up.

"Young master, did you accept all of this too easily?" When the commotion subsided, Himari found a moment to express the doubt that had been tormenting her heart.

"Do you think it would make a difference?" Light responded without changing his facial expression: "Even if I had refused, so what? Indeed, I touched her breasts, whether it was accidental or not. I also accepted her confession, although now I realize she meant a different kind of affection."

"Young master, be honest with me, did you know from the beginning about her confession?" Himari inquired.

"What do you think?" Light countered.

"I think the young master already knew." Himari answered.

Light just smiled in response.

Himari: "..."

"I'll be right back." Light left as she stopped speaking.

In his room, Light picked up the Death Note.

He then wrote the name "Tomoya Aki" in the Death Note. For the cause of death, he wrote: "Dies from excessive masturbation."

Having lost all his Fortune, Light thought he should give a nudge and help this protagonist have, at least, a 'happy ending'.
