Greetings, new cadets, and welcome to your new life within the Academy of Divided Light!
Your journey starts here, inside the polished walls of the pristine palace built to sustain dragons of all tribes. Built upon the backs of the descendants of the legendary Dragonets of Destiny, our academy specializes in providing the greatest education to the youth of our generation. It is imperative that our students are taught, not just the history of our grand world, but also survival. Wars that have ravaged the land of the dragons for centuries, wars which have divided and united different corners of the continent.
Education is a divine thing, but it is no more divine than combat, than hunting. We have chosen you, young cadets, to be the face of our new project — the academy itself. Our resources will allow for you to pursue the path you most desire — and you will have the chance to try them all.
The queens are all in agreement with this plan, especially my dear mother, Queen Puma, who gave much of her recently-acquired treasure in order to finance this path to the future. I know that many are still saddened by the unfortunate passing of my grandmother, the former queen of the RainWings and NightWings, Queen Olive, and she will be dearly missed within our peaceful tribe.
When you arrive on the night when all three moons appear in the shape of a dragon's talon, you will find a grand university dedicated to the comfort of our future students. The lush courtyard bathed in moonlight which surrounds the entire campus was grown by our LeafWing team who coaxed the plants to shelter us. Flowers which give our home the beauty of all the kingdoms in one also bring a desirable aroma to the land, and those who wish for peace simply must stroll through the gardens and take in that delicious scent.
Our staff will ensure you are well taken care of — especially our vice principal, Botfly, who you all know is the descendant of Queen Cricket of the HiveWings. She certainly takes after her ancestor, that is for certain! She is the head of our library as well, so if you come across her in the halls, be sure to greet her! She enjoys book talks, and can tell a mad story if she so desires!
