The rangers were concerned about letting Tanya into the fold until Tommy reminded them that she was once one of them.

This also dredged up the old debate on how much, if anything they should tell Peyton. At her young age there was worry as to if she would understand what they were telling her, and if she could keep their secret safe. None of them knew, and they feared that if they didn't do something fast Mesogog would make the choice for them, and the fallout would be catastrophic.

Tanya came as planned and Tommy filled her in on the latest team of power rangers along with his status in the team.

"You really can't stay out of the fight can you?" she asked.

"Apparently not…" he sighed the conversation soon moving to the debate he and his rangers had been having on if they should tell Peyton and more importantly how to go about doing it. Kira and Trent had taken Peyton to the park to play so she wouldn't overhear anything she wasn't supposed to. They had worked hard to keep their secret from her. The rangers never accessed the command center from the house entrance and they were careful not to call for Tommy unless things got extremely out of hand.

"This is a scenario none of us ever dreamed of. The rangers are usually not old enough to have kids at all, so we're in uncharted waters all the way around." Tanya sighed.

"I know, it's just more reason we need to take out Mesogog…" he sighed "If he finds out about her he will make this decision for us, and I'm terrified how much damage it will do if she learns this from him instead of me."

"Then, I hate to say it, but you need to tell her as soon as possible." Tanya sighed "look Tommy you don't have to worry I'll do everything I can to keep her safe in my care."

"Thanks, Tanya."

"No sweat, it's what we rangers do." She shrugged.

That Monday was quiet Tanya found herself on high alert as long as she had her students outside.

Tommy called her and asked if she could look after Peyton late that day as he had an emergency to tend to. She agreed and took Peyton to the school playground so she could play while they waited for Tommy to arrive.

Then it happened, Tyrannodrones surrounded the playground and went straight for Peyton.

Tanya got into the fight, doing her best to get to Peyton, but without her ranger powers she was quickly overrun and could only watch helplessly as the drones took Peyton away through the invisiportal.

"No!" Tanya cried falling to her knees as the four teenagers got to her side.

"Where is Peyton?" Conner asked.

"They took her… I… I tried to stop them." She cried as Kira and Trent knelt on either side of her.

"Damn…" Conner muttered.

"One question…" Ethan said.

"What is that?" Trent asked.

"Who is going to tell Dr. O?" Ethan continued.

The group fell silent. Tommy would have a fit of epic proportions, Mesogog had his daughter and there would be hell to pay.
