Fifth term has begun. Harry starts to turn away from Hermione, just as she is figuring out what she truly wants.

3. No Longer Friends

Chapter 3: No Longer Friends

Hermione sat at the Gryffindor table with some random girls. She was making faces to Draco who was making faces back.

"Why aren't you sitting with Harry and Ron, Hermione?" Ginny asked.

Sighing, Hermione turned her attention to the youngest of the Weasley children.

"Harry is upset with me." Hermione said.

"Why?" Ginny asked.

Hermione shrugged. "I don't know. I didn't do anything wrong. He's just mad at me."

"I heard him tell the redhead that you two are no longer friends." A first year said.

Hermione hung her head. She tried her hardest not to cry. She was Dumbledore's daughter after all, she needed to keep her emotions at bay while surrounded by the whole school.
