Sara wasn't sure what was in the air, but everything seemed so busy this past week. There were non-stop rushes every day at Noonan's and non-stop crime all night! She hadn't gotten more than 3hrs of sleep any night this week.

It's Saturday morning, just around the time Lena would've come in for her Saturday treats, but her hopes were dim that she'd show. Sara had left quite a few text messages, a few voice mails, and a flower bouquet with a letter, but no responses. Really, she just wanted to check in on her but the only real sign of life was a notification Lena had liked her check-in text a few days ago, then unliked it. Sara felt like all she could really do was give her space and support and hope she'd come around.

Lena hadn't slept all week. She's been staying in her office, burying herself in paperwork and meetings. It's a good thing Lena has a private full bathroom in her office and an emergency closet. She never had to go home, if she didn't want to. Last night when her assistant was leaving she'd mentioned something about doing some self-care. Lena wasn't sure she'd find the time, but she was somewhat open to the idea of partaking in her own self-care.

Currently zoned into some mindless paperwork, Lena gets snapped into reality when her phone starts ringing. The caller ID said Potential Spam. She rolled her eyes and dismissed the call, which is when she saw the date and time on her phone. It's nearly 10:30 a.m. on Saturday! Lena couldn't believe she'd spent all this time only working. Her stomach began to growl as she packed up her things to head out.

Lena stopped at home to shower and change into a pair of black leggings, a sports bra, a tank top, and her emerald green oversized sweatshirt and matching chunky sneakers. She grabbed her yoga bag and a smoothie and hit the road. First, she stopped at Noonan's. She took one last deep breath as she opened the door, unsure of what she'd say to Sara.

It was surprisingly quiet today as there was no line and only a few parties seated. Lena was just about to place her order with a new face at the counter when another worker handed Lena her usual and let her know it'd been made for her as she walked in. Lena smiled and thanked the workers just before turning to leave. "No Sara?" she thought to herself.

Surprisingly relaxed, she ate her breakfast on her way to the studio. It'd been too long since her last class and she was so tense. The idea of deep stretches sounded beyond amazing at this point.

She made her way into the locker room of the studio to remove her shoes and sweatshirt and lock up her things before class. Topping off her water bottle on her way, she made it to class and found the perfect spot. She placed her mat in the back left corner of the class and began to stretch as the class was about to start. The class was pretty full by the time it started. Lena was in the zone excited to begin when she noticed a familiar face placed on their mat just in front of her.

"Sara?" Lena said in surprise.

"Oh, hi Lena. I'm sorry, I didn't know you'd be here until after I saw you. Do you mind?" Sara said quickly and softly.

"It's a public class, I don't mind. It's just thought you'd have work today. I didn't see you earlier, but I figured you were on break or in the back."

"Oh yeah, I had an earlier shift today and then it was slow so I got off early. Um, I'm glad I got to see you. I know it's been a while-"

"Alright everyone, let's get started. We're going to begin in extended child's pose today." The instructor Kai interrupted.

Everyone quickly got themselves into position as the soft music began and Kai spoke everyone through the exercise. "Saved by the instructor?" Lena thought. She felt so bad for ghosting Sara and here she is right in front of her, still being kind and gentle with her. Lena was terrified.

"Focus, focus, breath, focus…" kept playing in Sara's head as reminders in this moment. Sara was lost and she felt guilty. Here is this beautiful and kind person behind her and all she can think of is the fact that Sara pulled her close and hurt her. She wasn't sure how exactly she'd hurt Lena, but she knew it was serious because Lena said nothing all week. Sara is patient, but the silent treatment is still hurtful and confusing. She wanted to grant Lena anything she needed to do well, still feeling as though some answer could've and should've been given to Sara. At the end of the day, Sara's main focus was whether or not Lena was okay. She needed to know that much.

The class was winding down as Lena felt herself being pulled back into reality. Still feeling incredibly zen she realized she knew she had to talk to Sara and that she owed her some kind of explanation. Feeling guilty, Lena came up with a plan.

"Thank you, everyone, namaste!" Said Kai.

In a comfortable silence, everyone began rolling up their mats and heading out. Lena stepped up next to Sara and said "Wanna walk with me?" and Sara smiled. They spoke of work and their troubles sleeping this past week as Lena grabbed her stuff from her locker. When they arrived at the showers, Lena put her stuff in the shower and began to strip. Sara didn't think Lena truly realized that she was getting naked in front of her and after last weekend, Sara didn't want to mess up, so she began stripping while facing away from Lena. She hoped Lena wouldn't think anything of it.

Lena kept talking and hopped into the shower to continue. Lena tried to explain this experiment she was in the planning and preparation stages of to Sara, but she could tell Sara barely knew what she was talking about. Sara told stories of the bad guys she'd fought over the past week and the last one really caught Lena's attention.

Sara'd fought a 23ft alien from a planet she'd never heard of and they got a small scratch in on Sara. Lena demanded to see it to ensure Sara was truly okay. Lena asked to see after exiting the showers and wrapping up in towels. Sara said the scratch was from just under the right slide of her chest to the top of her left hip. Lena was worried the scratch was at risk for infection as she knew Sara hadn't gone to seek medical treatment.

Sara opened the front of her towel exposing her front under the bright lights. Lena just looked in awe. It's not like Lena hadn't seen her before, but the added light made all the difference. She loved every groove, bump, and mound. She was chiseled perfection. Lenas was so distracted that Sara had to clear her throat to grab Lena's attention. Lena immediately turned bright red and Sara softly giggled.

Lena was relieved to see that Sara truly was okay. The scratch really was just a scratch and she didn't even need dressing. Lena looked up at Sara from her knees and she had an idea. Just for a moment, she had flashes of something X-rated in the showers.

"Whatcha thinkin' about?" Sara mused.

"Oh! Sorry, nothing. I just realized, I actually should get going. It's getting a little late…want to walk me the rest of the way out?" Lena said nervously. She knew she'd been at least a little caught, but she could tell Sara wasn't 100% in. She was hesitant like something else was on her mind. Lena knew what it was. Sara agreed to walk and they changed quickly and then headed out.

They were stopped in the parking lot between their cars in a sudden and uncomfortable silence as they both ran out of ideas for small talk. All that was left was them and the elephant. Lena took a deep breath and asked Sara "Any chance you're free around 7? I know it's somewhat short notice and it's going on 2, but if you're open to it, I'd really like to see you again".

Sara was shocked. She didn't know what to say or what to feel. Should she be happy that Lena wants to see her? To talk to her? Or should she be offended that Lena ghosted her all week and now she's extending invitations? It was too much to digest. Sara just raised her eyebrows and half-nodded. Lena backed away and walked to her car mentioning something about texting later. Sara blinked herself back and slowly got into her car and drove back to her place.

Kicking off her shoes as she entered her apartment, Sara sighed and also set down her keys and phone. While combing her fingers through her hair and yawning, she walked into her bedroom and set her alarm for 530. It felt as though the moment her head hit the pillow she crashed because the next thing she knew she was waking up with a pool of drool and messy hair to her alarm. She quickly turned it off and slowly checked her notifications. She missed a text from Lena which read:

"Hi Sara, thank you for agreeing to see me tonight. I am sorry about not reaching out this week. There is no excuse for me treating you that way. I wanted to meet tonight to catch up and explain everything. I could tell you were unsure earlier and don't want to push you whatsoever. If you decide you want to meet, this is where I'll be:

Sara was a little emotional as she read this and a sense of relief washed over her. It felt good to know that Sara wasn't being crazy and she felt validated. She wasn't sure if she should be worried or not, but the fact that Lena wanted to catch up made her feel hopeful. Sara sits up and puts her phone to charge, then makes her way to the bathroom to shower and get cleaned up. Cocktail Attire…she has just the thing!

Lena feels surprisingly calm as she puts on her finishing touches and heads out. She's never early, but she just couldn't help herself this time. Still, Lena did manage to sneak in a few hours of shut-eye. She met her driver at her steps and pulled out her phone in the car to shoot Sara a message.

"Hi Sara, I'm on my way to Westerly's in case you're able to make it. No worries if not. I'm sure they have a bottle of red with my name on it. Anyway, I just wanted to send some good vibes your way. Namaste!

-Lena"

She was hesitant at first, but Lena hit send. She pulled up to the restaurant and was escorted to her table. It was a beautiful patio with fairy lights, candles, and a stunning view of the city. Lena took a seat and ordered a glass of red and some water. As the waiter walked away Lena got lost in the trance she likes to call "indefinitely blue". She couldn't stop thinking about this woman's clear blue eyes and the beauty of the woman who sees through them.

Sara was doing her final check in the mirror when she saw Lena's text. She figured she should hurry as she was probably at the restaurant already. Sara looked back up and decided to switch her shoes to a more subtle heel. She figured the black rhinestones would be less distracting than the silver and she wasn't sure of the lighting, so she didn't want to have disco balls for heels. The new shoes perfectly complemented her formfitting dark blue cocktail dress with a black handbag. Her small dangling black crystal earrings really pulled the vibe together. Giving herself a nod of approval, Sara grabbed her keys and headed out the door.

Lena was pulled from her trance by the real thing. She couldn't take her eyes off of Sara and she couldn't focus. She was so beautiful.

Sara sat across from her as they exchanged pleasantries and complimented each other's appearance. Sara really loved the simple all-black dress Lena wore. It looked as though it was meant to be loose and that element made the sharp and elegant features of her face shine through. She also loved gold-plated emerald jewelry. The green and gold made her eyes pop and she could stare into those eyes for hours. She hadn't seen her shoes yet, but she envisioned some kind of black and gold combo and open heels. Sara admired how Lena presented herself. Always so sharp and poised. She was something special.

They fell into a comfortable silence as they perused their menus. After they ordered and their waiter left, they just looked at each other with wavering smiles. They both hoped the other would speak first.
