Sorry for the delays, here is the new chapter.
After a few weeks later
The Straw Hats have been become really good employes of Urahara candy shop, well for a degree. Luffy was called ´´official candy inspector´´, which meant he wanted to eat all the candy he wanted and almost make the shop go out of business. Zoro was a security guard, but most of the day he just slept. Nami was the accountant for the store and this time she making sure to make cuts. Usopp was making sure the candy were in the right place. Sanji made new recipes for the candies. Chopper was the doctor of the place but also made sure to take care of some recipes. Robin also organized the place, but she spent most of the day reading. Franky kept trying to create some new invention. And finally Brook created the jingles for the shop.
''Ok, this is the batch for tomorrow.'' Said Sanji seeing all the candy that he had made. Almost 10 dozen.
''Wow they look good.'' Said Tessai.
''Want me to try some?" Asked Luffy.
''No! Get out before I have to make everything from scratch!"' Said Sanji kicking Luffy in the face.
The Straw Hat looked in annoyance as he decided to do something else, he then saw Urahara and wonder if he had something cool to do.
''Hey candy man, do you got any clue on how to send us back or do something fun?" Asked Luffy.
''Sorry my dear Luffy, I haven't found a solution yet. This situation is more complicated than I even imagined.'' Said him.
''Robin! What about you? Any ideas?" Asked Luffy.
''Sorry captain, i´m also with no lead on how to send us back. I´m sorry.'' Said her.
''Ok, keep trying.'' Said Luffy.
''I will.'' Said Robin with a smile.
While the store at peace that was about to end in a few minutes.
''Hey! Who ate my lunch?" Asked Jinta pissed.
''Sorry Jinta, I was hungry.'' Said Luffy with a smile.
''Every day with that! Where is my bat! I am going to bash your head like a watermelon!'' Scream Jinta.
''Hey don't kill our captain! I know that can get annoying, but we need him for important stuff.'' Said Usopp.
''Oh come on! Like this guy is any strong.'' Said Jinta pissed.
''You won't believe how strong he truly is.'' Said Nami while reading a magazine.
The crew wasn't allowed to explore the town nearby called Karakura, plus Chopper, Franky and Brook had to always be put in the back of the store or it would be bad for costumers. They didn't like those rules, but Urahara tried once to show them what would happen, and it ended up with an ambulance being brought towards the store.
''Hey guys, do we have some booze for now?" Asked Zoro.
''We aren't a bar.'' Said Tessai.
''Yes, if you want grab some of the boss stash or go to a tavern.'' Said Jinta.
Zoro just rolled his eyes in annoyance, working in a candy store wasn't in his list to do once he joined the crew.
''Well I am done with today's inventory. Please Luffy, this time don't mess things up. I am really tired.'' Said Usopp.
'Oh come Usopp. Don't you trust me?" Asked Luffy.
''With candy? No, absolutely not!'' Said Usopp.
''This candy shop will go bankrupt if we let you alone.'' Said Nami.
''Hey I need to taste if they are good.'' Said Luffy
''Stop with that stick! It got old!'' Said Jinta.
''Ok taking Luffy stomach aside we have to think about bigger things.'' Said Chopper.
''Yeah, how about we found a way back to the Grand Line?! I cant stand here just seeing the Sunny just standing there in the dock.'' Said Franky.
The group of pirates nodded at that, they wanted to see a way to get back in sailing. They weren't mad or tired of Urahara, but they had a voyage to go back too and try to get back into their main focus.
''Are you sure you haven't found an answer Urahara?" Asked Nami.
''nothing yet, I am sorry my dear. Your case is rare and even my knowledge cant reach this far.'' Said him.
''Well at least we have a smart dude like you working on the case.'' Said Franky.
''I agree, it best to have a man with knowledge looking at this than having none helping us.'' Said Brook.
''Besides my equipment isn't that big in here, I used to have more stuff in my other place before I got kicked out.'' Said Urahara.
''Man, this is really stressful. I think we are stuck in here for years.'' Said Luffy.
''We only´ve been here for 3 weeks.'' Said Nami.
''Well that feels like years to me.'' Said Luffy.
''Sure.'' Said Nami with her eyes rolling.
''Urahara, she arrived.'' Said Ururu.
''Oh good! Sorry guys, I need to attend to this customer.'' Said him.
The group saw the man with green hat leaving their area as he went to the main entrance.
''I am here.'' Said a young female voice.
The crew went Urahara going to talk with a short black-haired girl. It appeared that the two have done business before.
''Oh my, do you need more candies? You might get a cavity.'' Said Urahara.
''Don't be creepy, I just need the usual.'' Said the girl.
''Oh I see, don't worry we got some of them in stock.'' Said Urahara.
''Thank you, I shall pay you when the next hollow appear.'' Said her.
''Perfect. Just wait there.'' Said Urahara.
As Urahara went to get the ´´candies´´ for the girl, Luffy wanted to interact with someone new and he wanted to see who this girl was. So of course, he went towards her with no trouble and no fear.
''Hey there!'' Said Luffy going near the girl face.
'What! Who are you?" Asked her in shock.
''i am Monkey D. Luffy, what is your name?"
''What?!'' Asked the girl confused.
Urahara just laugh at that as he see the whole scene.
''Sorry for my new employee, he is a bit eccentric. Luffy this is Rukia Kuchiki a regular costume of the store.'' Said Urahara.
The pirate just laughed at that as he looked at Rukia with a laugh.
''You are a new employee?" Asked Rukia confused.
''Yeah, me and my whole crew are here.'' Said Luffy.
Rukia looked at Urahara with a glare.
''What are you planning?" Asked her.
''Nothing! I swear.'' Said him with a smile.
''I don't know if I can still trust you after this one.'' Said her.
''What is your deal?" Asked Luffy.
''Nothing, I am just here to grab my order and go with my day.'' Said her.
''Ok, just wait here while I grab the candies.'' Said Urahara.
''Fine.'' Said Rukia.
As Urahara went to grab the candies Luffy was alone with Rukia which made her feel a little bit uncomfortable.
''So do you like meat?" Asked him.
''Uh?" Asked her confused.
So yes, this is a short chapter but hey Luffy meet Rukia and next chapter she is going to meet the rest of the crew and see what is the deal. Knowing full well that there is something odd around here.
Sorry for the short chapter. I intended to be longer, but I got out of ideas for this one, I need to get my head back into this story and plan correctly so we can get to the Soul Society already. I hope you all have a good day and enjoy the rest.
