Hey there, I decided to make a new chapter on this story. I been on a Sandman kick lately, I read the first 3 volumes of the sandman series and I started listen to the Audio book. I wanted to make a chapter where Luffy and Morpheus talk. I hope you all enjoy.
At the JLA Satelite.
Luffy and Morpheus were talking in one of the many couch of the JLA satellite, the pirate wasn't bother by the least by Morpheus creepy look.
''So you´re a dream?" Asked Luffy.
''I am the lord of dreams; I am the prince of stories and I help people have their tales when they are sleeping.'' Said Morpheus.
''Woah! That's so cool! Do you ever made a dream that you had chicken for fingers?!'' Asked Luffy.
''I made over billions of dreams, maybe I did or maybe I didn't. Ideas come ago in my realm and I tried at least something once or twice before I decided to stop.'' Said Morpheus.
Luffy just look amazed at that, he wanted to know more about this weird guy who has the power of dreams.
''Tell me did you ever dream that you can poop?" Asked luffy.
''I did.'' Said Morpheus.
''Cool!'' Said Luffy.
Morpheus was just wondering why was this kid so different from all the other heroes from the universe, he knows he is from another universe but he wanted a little bit more because he could feel he was special.
''Do you want go in adventure with me?" Asked Luffy.
''I want to ask you a few questions.'' Said Morpheus.
''Aw! Why everybody keep asking me questions instead of going in adventures.'' Said Luffy.
''Tell me Monkey D. Luffy, what do you think dreams are?" Asked Morpheus.
''Dreams are something that each person should have. If a person doesn't have a dream than what's their purpose in life. Each person has a different dream, and they are going to fight for them. My dream is to be King of the Pirates and I won't stop at nothing until I reach my dreams!"' Said Luffy.
Dream heard that and was impressed; this kid was so passionate about his dream and he was talking with total honesty and he was also being super serious.
''I see.'' Said him.
''I know, but what about you? What is your dream?" Asked Luffy.
''I am the embodiment of Dreams itself. I don't even need to sleep.'' Said him.
''Really, man that must suck.'' Said Luffy.
The Endless just look at that in shock, for the first time he wonder what would his dream be like. However, he knew that was impossible, he is not even human nor a God, but he is not someone who needs to sleep or eat.
''So, what are you going to do?" Asked Luffy.
''I think I will hang with you for some time. I want to see where this will go!'' Said Morpheus.
''Cool! You´re like a new crewmate!'' Said Luffy.
''I don't know.'' Said Morpheus.
Luffy looked around and Morpheus looked confused at that.
''What are you doing?" Asked Morpheus.
''Looking for Usopp. I wonder where is he?" Asked Luffy.
''He ran away when you and me started talking.'' Said Morpheus.
''Oh Usopp is like that. Don't worry he will be back.'' Said Luffy..
''Are you sure?" Asked Morpheus.
''Yeah, I can sense him…. oh and the others too.'' Said Luffy.
Then Usopp arrive with the rest of the crew, they were all shocked to see their captain talking with this pale man with dark eyes.
''See! I told you guys! He was talking with this creepy looking weirdo! I couldn't find Superman or Batman so I wanted to show you all!'' Scream Usopp.
''Hey guys, this is our new crewmate Dream. He is our new…I guess dream guy?'' Asked Luffy.
The Endless just saw the group of colorful characters, most of them were a bit creped out by him already.
''Hello.'' Said Morpheus.
''Hi.'' Said Robin.
''Why do you always drag us into messes!'' Scream Nami.
The crew just wonder what they would with this thing, they were going to talk with the heroes and see who this ´´dream guy´´ was and what was his deal.
Yes, this is a little chapter, and we will see what Dream and the Straw Hat crew will do together? This will be really cool.
