Chapter Fourteen

"You look sexy when you sleep, even when you drool. Come find me my naked husband. -Alex Casey. XO"

That was the note. The note that he read off the post-it note that she stuck to his nose when he woke up this morning. When he woke up naked and alone in bed without his wife in his arms. Just how he woke up naked? He had no idea, due to the fact that they didn't make love to each other the night before; rather, he was wearing his boxers when he went to bed last night with his wife in his arms. But when he woke up this morning, not only was she gone; but his boxers were also on the ground next to him in bed. And he was so torn about how to feel about that. Because on one hand, he's really turned on and liked that his wife touched him already this morning; but on the other hand, he didn't like the fact that his wife wasn't in bed with him when he woke up. Naked with the dogs.

And no, you didn't read that wrong.

Rather than have his wife in bed with him when he woke up this morning, he had Cassie and Theo laying down on Alex's side of the bed; and they were actually the two little animals that woke him up, rather than a sexy kiss from his sexy wife. His sexy wife whom he was currently trying to "find" this morning, not that he didn't already know where she was. God, she made it so obvious by leaving their swimwear drawer open. So, he already knew exactly where she was this morning; she was in their pool, waiting for him to join her so that they can have some fun with each other. And he can only hope that includes a bit of skinny dipping, not that he needs it right now; and that's due to the fact that he loves his wife more than anything. And all he needs is her in his arms. It's what he always needs. He always wants to hold her in his arms, whenever he gets a chance to do so. And that's precisely what he plans on doing today in the pool, just as soon as he joins the woman he loves in the water. The woman who was currently floating topless in their pool.

And damn did he love the sight of his wife floating in the pool all sexy and topless, something that he decided to keep to himself as he didn't want to tell his wife that he was down here yet as he didn't want to get her to change what she was wearing for him right now. He wants her to stay in the pool just like she is, until he's with her and holding her close. And that's precisely what Matt is ready to do now as he set his towel down next to his wife's towel and bikini top. After which, he smirked as he tried to think about what bikini she was wearing based on the bra which he was now holding; and that's when he realized just what bikini bottom she was wearing. And damn is he a lucky husband. She's wearing the little bikini that he absolutely loves seeing her wear, which has to be the reason that his new wife is wearing it for him. And now, she's going to have something else on her body; and that would be his hands, which is exactly what she wants right now. Hell, she always wants to have her husband with her in the pool whenever she gets a chance.

And since Matt knew that, he decided that he wasn't going to waste any time getting into the pool; because instead of getting in the pool through the stairs, he instead took a breath and dived in so that he could join Alex in the pool this morning. And while Matt was really happy that he just that, Alex had another feeling as she was starting to get worried; worried that one of the dogs just fell in. Turning around, she went to check on the dogs; only to see that they were both okay. So now, she was thinking that she was going crazy due to the fact that she thought she was hearing things; but she most certainly was not hearing things. Rather, she did hear something get into the pool with her; or should we say someone she loves join her in the pool, someone who is about to get in a lot of trouble as he soon tugged her down under the water as a way to play with her. After which, Matt tugged Alex's body close to him, which prompted her to wrap her arms around his neck and just shake her head as they both came up out of the water. "Hey!"

Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that, while tugging her body close to him and just smiled due to the fact that he was really happy right now. Happy to be with the woman he loves as they both held each other close right now. "Hi sexy." Alex laughed as she heard Matt say that, while putting her hands on his face; after which, she leaned her forehead against Matt's forehead (who soon whispered to her). "You mad at me?" Confused, Alex looked at her husband as she placed her hands on his face this morning. "Why would I be mad at you?" Matt smirked as he looked at the woman he loves. "I don't know, I tugged you down under the water and scared you." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Meanwhile, Matt ran his hands up her back as he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "However, the same can't be said about me being mad at you." Leaning back, Alex put her hands on his muscular chest.

Staring at her husband, Alex was a bit offended over the fact that her HUSBAND was mad; if anything, she's the only one that has a right to be mad based on what he just did. "Are you really trying to say that you have a reason to be mad, based on what you just did? I don't want to be mad at you, but I can get mad at you." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case as he leaned in and kissed his beautiful wife softly. Just taking things slow with her, he smirked due to the fact that this is precisely what they both want to do right now. While at the same time, Matt decided to tell his wife just why he was mad at the moment. "Well, to answer your question about why I'm mad; well, it's because…" Bending down as he ran his hands up Alex's back, Matt started to kiss her neck. "…my sexy wife left me naked and alone in bed, the morning after we got married in bed. Oh, and you took off my boxers without waking me up." Alex laughed, well aware that was the case as she cuddled up to him; all the while, she smiled at her husband.

God, her husband; the best way to describe just who this man she loves is to her now as they held each other close in the comfort of their pool, while also taking things nice and slow with each other. "Damn, you are so sexy." Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that her husband things that she's sexy. After all, he always stares at her when she's walking around in things that really show off her body; or when she's semi-naked like she is right now. But even more so when they're making out and he's sucking on her neck, which is precisely what Matt just started doing; while she moved her hand to the back of his head and moaned for the man of her dreams. "Oh baby, fuck!" Laughing as he heard Alex say that, Matt continued to suck on her neck as a way to tease her precisely how she wants to be teased at the moment. And just how might his wife want to be pleased right now? Well, that would be by having him suck on her neck as a way to give her a nice good morning. "God, I love the fact that we have an indoor pool." Matt agreed.

After all, he'll always agree with things that she says if it means that he gets a bunch more sexy time with her; and having sexy time with his gorgeous wife in the pool is always something that he enjoys. "Me too, and I can always see us taking a swim here." Wrapping his arms around Alex, Matt smiled as he kept her close to him as he moved his hands to her legs and wrapped them around his waist. After which, he wrapped his arms around her back as they both floated in the pool. "Sorry about this morning, you were just sleeping in forever." Matt shook his head as he didn't need an apology for Alex. "It's fine." Alex just looked at Matt as he said that, before he interrupted her and just told her that it was fin again. "Baby, I mean it. It's fine and everything is okay. Anyways, you need to start collecting your credits now." Alex was confused as she leaned back and looked at the man she loves as she had no idea just what he was talking about. "Ok. What are you talking about credits?" Matt smiled as Alex asked him that question. "For my early mornings."

Alex soon realized that Matt was talking about, his early morning business meetings that he needs to do at times, which actually brings up something that she wants to talk about. "Can we talk about that as we float here in the pool this morning." Rubbing Alex's back, Matt nodded as he stared into her eyes. "Of course, babe, what's up?" Taking a breath, Alex sighed. "I'm just starting to think about some things. Some stuff related to the narrative that we're going to give people." Matt was confused. "What are you talking about?" Alex sighed. "Matt, the press is going to ask." Matt just looked into Alex's eyes, not understanding what they're going to ask. "Matt, you just…god, I know you hate when I say it." Matt soon understood what she was talking about, appreciating the fact that she didn't mention it either. "Yeah, I do get what you were thinking about. Now, is this the real reason why you came down so early? As your head is spinning about some things that you have on your mind?" Alex took a breath and sighed as she hugged him tight today.

As she wrapped her arms around his neck nice and tight, as a way to feel better about what she was thinking. "Sorry, I should've woken you up. I just thought you'd call me stupid and…" Rubbing his wife's back, Matt shook his head. "Hey, take a breath and just calm down babe." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, while also feeling him swim in the pool. "Where you going?" Matt smiled as he kissed her shoulder. "To one of the corners where we can talk." Alex agreed with Matt as she got ready to talk to him this morning.

They decided to take things slow with each other, prior to the two of them talking with each other; and damn was it getting hot in here. The way Matt's hands ran themselves around her body, and the feeling of that night wedding band on her back; it was pure paradise and precisely what she wants right now. It's how she wants to be touched, how she wants to feel loved and how she wants to be treated. She wants to feel this way with the man of her dreams as they both take things nice and slow with each other simply due to the fact that it's the best feeling in the entire world. And even more so, it's due to the fact that her husband is the best kisser in the entire world. "God, you have no idea how happy I am right now that you decided to come join me in the pool." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, as there's nowhere he'd rather be other than here with her. "Babe, this is where I want to be right now anyways. I want to be with my wife as we start our life as husband and wife. As Mr. and Ms. Matthew Casey." Alex smiled as she heard that.

Heard her new name. Ms. Matthew Casey. "God, I can't wait to be introduced that way at an event that we attend together." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that. "Yeah, like next week." Alex was confused, as she was unaware of any events they had next week. "What's next week?" Matt sighed. "Next Friday, we have the annual Casey Corporate Christmas party. I forgot about it. I was thinking of skipping it, but…" Wrapping her arms around Matt's head, Alex shook her head while attacking her husband's lips with a nice kiss. "We're going to that event, as I want to be introduced as your wife." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, loving the sound of that. "It's not this Friday, but next Friday; Casey Headquarters from 6-to-9." Alex agreed with Matt as she grabbed the back of his head before smirking as she bent down and attacked his lips with hers. "That sounds like a lot of fun. Can we maybe make it a date?" Matt laughed. "Yeah, our first one where you're mine in public." Alex smirked. "I think you mean, you're mine in public." Matt agreed.

After all, she's going to be very possessive of him. "I can only imagine just how possessive you're going to be over me now that you're my wife." Alex agreed with Matt, smirking as she leaned in and kissed the man she loves once more, while also remembering something that they need to do. "We need to tell your sister before she hears it from anybody else." Matt then realized something. "Oh shit, I think she already does." Alex was confused as she heard Matt say that. "How?" Matt sighed. "Andy was our witness…" Yes, you heard that right. Matt's best friend Andrew Darden was the witness to their wedding. Turns out that he was at the courthouse already paying a parking ticket that he couldn't get dismissed, so he told him what was happening, and he was their witness. And let's just say that he was shocked over all the news, especially the part where Hallie was faking her pregnancy. He said, and I quote: "That's the craziest story that I ever heard, and I'm sorry that I didn't see the signs earlier." And he truly meant it when he said that.

He could tell based on the crazy way he was reacting, which still makes him wonder why he's chosen him as one of the people who has the honor of representing the company as one of his executives; then again, he is his best friend and the father of his godchildren. But now, back to what he was saying. "I think that my best friend might say something to her. Remember, he was our witness." Alex agreed with Matt, well aware that Andy was their witness. "Right, forgot about that. Everything is still a blur from yesterday, with the exception of last night." Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that, as he remembers last night pretty well too; but it should probably be a topic they avoid right now. "Yeah, not too sure you want to talk about that right now." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, well aware of the reason why they need to avoid that topic; it was because of what she did to him this morning. "I mean, the day after we get married babe!" Alex agreed with Matt, smirking as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

After which, she whispered to him. "Well, if you get us undressed, I can make it up to you." Smirking as he heard Alex say that, Matt was shocked. "Really?" Alex smirked and agreed with Matt as she wanted him. "Yes, I want you remember?" Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as he ran his hands down her body, before moving to grab her bikini bottom so that he can take it off; that is, after he takes off his swim trunks. Might as well get the harder things off first. "Hey, what are you doing?" Matt smirked. "Getting my swim trunks off first. They're harder to take off." Alex agreed with Matt as she put her hand on the back of his head, while also kissing the man of her dreams (and loving husband) nice and slowly; after all, that's precisely what they both want her to do right now. They want her to start taking things nice and slow when it comes to kissing Matt in preparation for the two of them making sweet love to each other in the pool. Sweet love that they can both enjoy more than anything in the entire world, because they do it together.

She was still thinking about the way her dreamy husband touched her in the pool while they were downstairs this morning, the way he loved her and pleased her; made her moan his name in the best possibly way. Oh god, he is just so good at that, which is precisely why she's so happy that they had sex in their pool regardless of the fact that it probably was not the best place to do it when they know that their friends or family may one day swim in that pool. But the truth is, they don't care. They don't care that their friends may have to swim in that pool someday due to the fact that they love each other and are very hormonal. So hormonal, that Matt is not done being intimate with his wife; and luckily for him, he still had one more chance to get intimate with her as she was currently in the shower. And Alex just knew that her husband wasn't able to resist joining her in the shower, as he's just that predictable, which is precisely why she didn't even bother turning to face him when he joined her in the shower. "Gee, not even going to give me the honor of showing off when I walk into the shower, just like I am to you?" Alex laughed as she ran her fingers through her hair.

After which, she turned around and looked at her amazing husband. "I already knew it was you, because you're predictable. You always want to take a shower with me if you have a chance to do so." Matt agreed with Alex, as he most certainly does. "Can you blame me? My wife is sexy!" Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, as she couldn't help by agree with the man of her dreams. "I can say the same thing about my husband, he's very sexy too." Walking over to Alex, Matt smiled as he moved his hands to her waist as he got close to her; after which, she wrapped her arms around his neck and just smiled as they both held each other close once more. But rather than doing so in the pool, they were doing so in the shower. "God, that was so hot in the pool." Placing her hands on Matt's chest as she stepped close to him, Alex agreed with Matt and just smirked due to the fact that she already knew that. She already knew that he thought it was sexy while they were in the pool. And now, she was more than ready to give him a bit more sexy time in the shower. "Well, I hope you like sexy as I want to give you some more to make up for waking up alone in bed." Matt snickered.

After all, she already did that downstairs. "You already did downstairs babe." Stepping close to Matt, Alex put her hand on his chest and smiled as she wrapped her arm around his head; while he put his hands on her hips and just held his beautiful wife close to him while kissing her. "Oh, so you don't want this?" Moving to kiss down his cheekbone, Alex smirked as she sucked on it; before moving to suck on his neck as a way to tease her husband even more. "Or this?" Moaning as he felt Alex suck on his neck that way, Matt just moaned due to the fact that this is really sexy; and Alex knew that much right away. She just had to know that it was going to turn him on the moment she did that. "Ok. You so knew that was going to turn me on, yet you still did it when you want to calm down." Turning Matt's head, Alex nodded and took a breath as she got nice and close to her loving husband. After which, Matt placed his hands on her hips as he leaned his forehead against hers; while at the same time, he could just tell that Alex had something on her mind. "Hey, what's up baby? You seem like you have something on your mind." Taking a break, Alex sighed as she looked down.

After all, she did have a lot on her mind; especially when it came to this life they were starting, and all the conversations that they should've had prior to marriage. I mean, they had some…but not all of the ones that she wished they would've had. "It's nothing." Shaking his head as he stepped close to Alex again, Matt sighed as he leaned in and kissed her once more. "It's not nothing, so please don't lie to me baby when I know that something's wrong. Just talk to me and let me know what's going on in your head right now." Alex agreed with her husband and took a breath as she wrapped her arms around his neck so that she could make sure that she was staring into his eyes, which is precisely what she was doing as they both held each other close; she was staring into his eyes as she made sure that they were both concentrating on each other. "I guess, it's the conversations that are on my mind. I mean, we had some conversations like…the hypotheticals. What our life would look like when we're married, where we'd live and stuff." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware of just where this conversation was headed. "But we never had THOSE conversations." Alex agreed with Matt.

And that worried her, the fact that they didn't do all the pre-marriage conversations. "I know, it's stupid. We weren't even an official cou…" Tugging Alex close to him, Matt crashed his lips into hers as he wanted her to stop talking. "Hey, take a breath and look at me." Alex agreed. "While we may not have been an official couple in public, we were official in every other way. You were the only other woman on my mind all the time, and you were the only woman I could think about. I love you, and I only thought of you. I was always worried for you, and you were always worried for me. We were always there for each other. We may not have been public, but we were an official couple in every way that matters. We were there for each other, and we loved each other. Okay?" Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him softly. After all, that's precisely what she wanted/needed to hear her husband tell her. She needed to hear him tell her that they've been official for a long time, which they have. "Hell, we've been in more of a relationship than I ever was with her." Alex agreed with Matt, smiling at her dreamy husband.

After which, she felt him grab some soap so that he could start washing her; something which she very much appreciated, as she wanted to have his hands all over her body as much as she could. While at the same time, she also decided to ask him some questions. "So, are we going to be wearing sweats or undergarments today?" Matt smirked as he ran his hands up her sides, before washing her breasts. "Maybe lingerie that's hard to take off." Alex smirked as she felt Matt massage her breasts, before moaning as that was really sexy. "Do you promise you won't take it off?" Matt agreed with Alex. "I want to take it easy as we concentrate on us today. I don't want to concentrate on sex, I want to concentrate on just how beautiful my wife is as we start this life with each other…" Stepping close to Alex as he kept his hand on her side, Matt smiled as he kissed her softly. "The woman I've loved for a very long time, and whom I am very proud to call my wife for the rest of my life. My partner in crime." Alex agreed with Matt, smirking as that most certainly is exactly what she is. She's his partner in crime for the rest of his life. "Oh, I most certainly am your partner in crime now mister." Matt smiled.

After which, he leaned in and kissed her softly. "I can wear sweats if you want." Alex shook her head as she hugged her husband this morning, before kissing him once more. "Boxers, they're sexier and I just want to be sexy with my man today; but not get too sexy." Moving his hands to Alex's sides, Matt agreed with his wife as he stepped close to her; he then leaned in and smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves. "I promise, not too sexy today. I already got enough last night and in the pool this morning." Alex agreed with Matt, as that's precisely how she feels as well. She just wants to take it easy and relax with the man of her dreams. Grabbing the back of her head as they stood in the shower with each other, Alex smiled as she took things slow with her man. "Forever." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, as that most certainly is how long he plans on being with her. "Forever." Kissing her again, Matt smirked as he took things nice and slow with Alex as a way to give her precisely what she wants right now; his love and attention in a way that doesn't involve sex. And right now, that's precisely what she's getting from him. Non-sexual intimacy.

She thought it was later on in the day than it actually was, as she thought it was almost ten when she woke up; but it was instead only eight. The reason? Turns out her alarm clock was upside down somehow and it made her six look like a nine. "Now I get what you meant when you said that I was up earlier than normal." Turning around to face Alex as he stood at his dresser while putting deodorant on, Matt agreed. "Yeah, I was wondering why you were up this early. I mean, it's only seven ten." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, while also making her way over to her dresser and setting her bikini down in the hamper; all the while, admiring the man she loves as he stood at his dresser in his boxers. "Have to say though, love the view of you in those tight boxers." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, before grabbing some of her favorite cologne and putting some on; while she walked up to her vanity and grabbed her perfume to put some on. After which, she set it down and proceeded to adjust her lingerie; something she didn't do in the washroom as she wanted to do it out here as a way to entice Matt to touch her. Not that he needs an invitation.

He already wants to touch her simply due to the fact that she's his sexy wife and is about to touch her as he walked up behind her and put his hands on her waist; something that Alex absolutely loved the feeling of as she leaned back against his muscular chest. Meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arms around her and kissed her shoulder this morning; after which, Alex turned around and looked at her dreamy husband. "So, we going to bed or having breakfast?" Stepping close to Alex, Matt wrapped his arms around her before leaning in and kissing her softly. "I'm leaving it up to you when it comes to what we're going to do. Are you hungry and want to eat? Or do you want to go back to sleep as we relax in bed?" Biting her lip, Alex got close to Matt and grabbed his hands before intertwining their fingers. "Would you be mad if I wanted to sleep some more? I think I'm starting to feel the crash part." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before getting close to her and wrapping his arms around her. "Hey, look at me." Alex agreed with Matt, doing just that as she wrapped her arms around his back. "I will never be at you for something that can help your health." Alex agreed.

She then leaned in and smiled as she started to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world, her husband Matthew Casey. "Did I ever tell you just how lucky I am to have you as my husband?" Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that, kissing her again as he took things nice and slow with her. "You never need to say it due to the fact that I think we're both pretty lucky in life. We have each other now, and that's all that matters. Especially since we're going to be together for the rest of our lives." Putting her hands on Matt's chest, Alex smirked as that was something that really made her happy; the fact that they were going to be together for the rest of their lives. A sentiment that she showed by wrapping her arms around Matt's neck and holding him close to her, while he wrapped his arms around her too and picked her up in his arms. Leaning back afterwards, Alex smiled as she moved her hands to the back of his head and smirked as she leaned in and kissed him softly. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, well aware that she loves him as he loves her too. "I love you too Alex." Alex smiled.

After which, she cuddled up to him again and just smirked due to the fact that this is perfect; especially as she felt Matt carry her back to their bed. "Hey, at least there's one benefit to this." Leaving soft kisses on Alex's neck as he carried her to bed, Matt was a bit confused as he didn't get what she was saying. "And what might that be?" Turning her head, Alex smiled as she stared into Matt's eyes; after which, she leaned in and kissed him softly. "The dogs have already been out this morning, which means that we can just cuddle up to each other as we relax and take it easy." Nodding, Matt smiled due to the fact that this is precisely what they both want to do right now. They both want to hold each other close, as they cuddle up to one another in bed and just take it easy for the sake of taking it easy. They literally have nothing to do today, nor will they have anything to do for a while as Matt took some time off. "I hope you know that it means a lot to me for you have decided to take some time off." Matt agreed with his wife as he carried her back to their bed and smiled as he sat down on the edge of their mattress, while also bringing her body against his chest.

Meanwhile, Alex put her hands on his muscular chest and smirked as she stared into Matt's eyes; while he ran his hands up and down her back, while also kissing her softly. After which, he spoke to her about what she said. "I took some time off as I need time to get my life in order, my life with my beautiful wife Alexandra." Alex smiled as she put her hands on his chest and kissed her husband softly. "And I need some non-intimate time with my handsome husband Matthew." Leaning in, Alex kissed Matt again this morning as a way to give him the attention that he deserves as her husband. The attention that they both want to give to each other. The only attention that they plan on giving to each other, as they have no plans whatsoever of getting too intimate with each other today. Rather, they're just going to take it easy and relax on their first full day as husband and wife. "First full day as husband and wife." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, as that most certainly is the truth. "Now if that isn't the truth. But listen, we need to get in bed now and just take it easy. I want to lay down with you and get what I didn't get this morning, my wife in my arms when I woke up."

Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that, while also putting her hands on the sides of his face as she kissed him again. "Yeah, sorry about that." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she told him that. "I know you are, and I forgive you. Just take it easy and relax now babe. We have nothing to worry about and can just take it nice and easy with each other." Alex agreed with Matt as she grabbed the back of his head, smiling as she kissed him slowly; while Matt climbed back into bed and laid down on his back with Alex on top of him, something that they both very much enjoyed as he closed the covers on top of them. After which, he rolled over onto his side and tugged the woman he loves close to him; the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. His wife. Leaning in as he put his hand on her back, Matt smiled as he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves. "I love you." Alex agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that he loves her based on the way that he kisses her and just takes things nice and slow with her. "I love you too Matt, but you don't need to always say it." Matt smiled. "I like doing it though, as I can finally say it in public."

Smirking, Alex put her hands on Matt's cheeks due to the fact that is the truth. He can now tell the world that he loves her, and they can go out into the world as husband and wife. "I love the fact that we can go out in the world as husband and wife now." Matt agreed with Alex. "You tell your parents yet that we're married?" Alex shook her head, as she hasn't done that yet. "We can do it at a later date. Or we can wait until we renew our vows. Say we got married then." Matt sighed. "Babe, I'm going to want to be known as your husband instead of your boyfriend on Christmas. Plus, I already e-mailed my team to put your name on the Company Christmas card for all the employees. You know, the one that the owners send out each and every year? It's going to say Merry Christmas from Matthew & Alexandra Casey and Jim, Christie & Violet Jordan." Alex agreed with Matt, while also smiling as she loved the sound of that. "Matthew and Alexandra Casey. Mr. and Ms. Casey." Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that. "I like the sound of that too." Moving her hand to Matt's face, Alex smiled as she leaned in and kissed the man of her dreams; until she realized something.

Her brother works for the company. "Oh shit, my brother." Matt then realized what she was talking about. Her brother is Marc Jacobs, the Midwestern United States' Project Manager for Casey Construction. "Oh, fuck!" And that was when she got a text message. Rolling over, Alex went to grab her phone to see that the text was from Marc. "It's from Marc." Matt agreed. "What does it say?" Opening the text, Alex read the text message. 'What's this about Matthew & Alexandra Casey? I know you've been dating in secret, but WTF!' Taking a breath, Alex sighed as she texted her brother back. 'You at home with Abby and Sacha or at the gym?' Sacha being her and Matt's two-month-old niece, while Abby is Marc's wife of eighteen months (in ten days). And that was when Alex got a phone call from her brother, while also taking a breath. Rolling over to face her husband, Alex sat up and looked at him. "Ok. Quick rule. We are on family time; Marc is allowed to talk to you in whatever way he wants as your brother-in-law. Is that understood?" Matt agreed as he sat up and got all comfortable with Alex as well. He then kissed the side of her head as he tugged the covers up on top of them.

Smiling as he did that, Alex cuddled up to her husband before answering her brother's call to talk to him this morning.
