Hey there guys it's me, Detective Cam, and i am here to say this is my official fanfic crossover. I'm sure some of you might love and hate it, and I will fully take criticism. With thst being said, I hopd you all have a great night/day and enjoy reading.

It's a warm summer evening in Brooklyn, New York, and the city is bustling with people going about their daily lives. Meanwhile, Miles Morales, The Friendly Neigborhood Spider-Man is currently patrolling the city rooftops, keeping a watchful eye on the streets below, as he had just got done stopping a villain (The Shocker for the forth time this week!). Other than that, the day was completely saved once again. Although the web-slinger didn't really have anything to do other maybe stop some theft and crimes, not that Morales would complain of course.

Finally stopping on one roof, Miles stands on the edge taking a deep breath in...then out, pulling up part of his mask, only his mouth and nose being visible he pulled out his phone checking for any updates.

"...Man, how is it that you always manage to beat me in our meet up spot." A voice spoke behind the webhead, the said voicd belonged to none other than the original Spider-Man himself, Peter Paker. Also accompanied by his daughter Mayday Parker, who was still a baby--quite the surprise that the OG Spider-Man himself has a baby and is a father...which explains the slight stubble Parker rocks now, oh! And a baby holder to keep Mayday in.

"Peter! Dude, I see you brought Mayday...does MJ know?" Miles asked as he fully took off his mask gripping it in his hand--looking at the two Parkers with a smile on his face, Mayday reaching for the young hero with her typical baby babble and coos.

Peter: "Ah well yeah, y'know... I feel like Mayday needs more fresh air, she's not like normally babies. I mean, the girl is lifting up her crib at two, crawling on walls, shooting webs-"

Miles: "The web-shooter you made." He muttered with an accusing smirk, but it was loud enough for Peter to hear.

Miles did have a point, the web thing was completely his fault but in his opinion it was cool nonetheless. "Look Miles, that's besides the point...what I'm trying to say is...I'm...sorta retiring as Spider-Man." Peter sighed, looking quite down that he had to break the news to his protégé, and best friend.

...

Silence fell between the two arachnid theme herors, both their color schemes from their suits kinda making the scene and clashing. Finally thinking things over, Morales spoke up.

"I-I see...how long have you been thinking about it man?" Miles asked, putting his hands together still thinking.

Peter: "For about a month now, that's why I wanted to meet, and Mayday along with me to lightin the mood a bit." OG spoke in a more quieter voice, shrugging his shoulders a bit, before continuing to talk. "But that doesn't mean you're not gonna see me around, I'll still be Spider-Man...just a little more into my new job."

Now this caught Miles attention, new job? What job could possibly be more important than his duty as the protector of New York, whatever it is...it must be very serious. "Oh...right, so what about me? Got any tips of pointers?"

Peter thought for a moment, "Have you been using baby powder like I recommend?"

"..."

"Miles?"

Cut to a scene of a YouTube video titled 'Spider-Man #2 regrets baby powder endorsement'

Cut back to Miles with his hands together in a praying manner getting ready to say something. "I made a mistake."

"Oh...OH! Yeah...that's right! Now I knoe why I stopped using it, and for Mayday. Heh heh, my bad..." Peter chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Uhhh huh, that's why." Silence fell between the two again before Peter cleared his throat, beginning to talk once more. "Well double M, I should get going...I'll see you around kid." He smiled stepping back a bit, slipping his and Mayday's mask back on.

Miles: "Y'know you don't have to call me that anymore, I'm Seventeen now, Pete."

Peter: "DAMN! I mean...ahem, damn...I didn't know you'd grow up so fast."

Miles: "Right! When we first met I was like fourteen."

"Heh, yeah I remember that, good times...but now, you're older...so things are changing, you're New York's only Spider-Man now. It's your responsibility." Peter said, speaking with respect, honesty, and hope to his predecessor. He has faith in Miles, the OG web-head knew the young hero wasn't gonna screw this up. With that, Peter was off, swinging away to enjoy his retirement. Miles watched him, smiling with inspiration, feeling a little more upbeat about this whole thing. Slipping his mask back on, Spider-Man looked down at city below, standing upright, before doing a front flip off the roof and shooting a web-line with the thrust of his wrist, making a 'thwhip!' sound, gaining more speed and momentum.

Derek James, also known as Sideways, found himself rifting onto a random street in New York on this warm summer evening. The young hero had just finished dealing with some minor dimensional disturbances a few... multiverses away, and now he was enjoying a moment of relaxation during the day. He knew he had to go and see Ernestine soon, to stitch some parts of his costume up, and of course, small talk. He normally only patrolled the day, as well, there was an entire Bat-Family for the night, but this seemed...off.

Derek had donned his Sideways costume, a sleek outfit that allowed for ease of movement and identified him as the hero, which I probably doubt. Well, not rekially here, which was odd as nobody seemed to recognise him. He quickly rifted himself to the top of a building, seemingly appearing out of thin air, right in the lines of a certain webhead sight presumably.

"... Did I go back to Prime Earth?"

He was thinking to himself as he saw the swinging hero. He had to get his attention for this. Without hesitation, he rifted in front of Miles, like a split-second portal jump. Half of him was still at the building but his other half was just there.

"Sorry to disturb but-"

"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

CRASH!

Spider-Man was indeed swinging at the same speed, colliding straight into Derek causing both to fall into his rift and somewhere else, but not somewhere else in New York...somewhere millions, upon millions miles away. Where did they go?

Well, that wraps things up for this Chapter, it's a little short but was fun to write. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Chapter 2 should be out later today or tonight depending on your timezone.
