Sophia is her school's star soccer player and is rapidly improving her life after she and her mother escaped her father, but with growing changes between her and her best friend, affairs of the heart and some problematic teammates, not all of her problems have been resolved it seems. It's up to Sophia to find a way to pull herself through these challenges and make the best of it.
