Waking up by the sound of Whiskey By Jana Kramer playing at six in the morning. Haley sat up and reached over to turn up the volume. Getting out of bed while singing along to the song. Haley walked over to her drawers and once she opened up the top one she grabbed an outfit she was going to wear for the day. Once the song ended and when Haley turned her alarm off she walked out of her room and into the bathroom. She had only a couple of hours before she had to open up the cafe and she wanted to get into the shower.

After Haley was done and after she got dressed. Haley made her way into the kitchen when she smells eggs bacon and toast. Not to mention the coffee was brewing. Walking in she noticed her roommate and best friend Brooke Davis was up and making breakfast.

" Morning Brooke." Haley greeted as she walked over to the coffee and reached for a cup from the cupboard." You're up kinda early." Haley said as she poured herself some coffee. " Did you get any sleep at all last night?" She asked as she took a sip of her coffee.

Brooke took the toast out of the toaster." Yeah, I slept fine." Brooke said as she decided to change the subject." A package came for you. It's over on the counter." Brooke said as she took a couple of plates down and started to serve breakfast.

Haley took another sip of her coffee as she walked over to the counter and picked up the package. Haley sighs softly as she already knew who it was from. Setting her cup down Haley quickly tore up the package and pulled out a small box. Slowly opening the box Haley gasps as she noticed it a necklace. The most beautiful necklace she ever saw." David sent me a necklace." Haley said as she kept staring at it.

" Wow really?" Brooke asked as she stood by Haley." Oh my God Hales that necklace is gorgeous. Are you gonna keep it?" Brooke asked curiously.

Haley shook her head as she closed the box." No." Haley simply said as she set the box down and walked over to the table with her coffee and sat down. After taking one more sip of her coffee Haley started to eat her breakfast.

" Why not?" Brooke asked as she picked up the box and opened it to get a better look at the necklace." It's beautiful and if I was you I will keep it." Brooke said with a shrug.

" Well, you're not me so I am not gonna keep it. This is just David's way of telling me he's sorry for sleeping with my sister Taylor a month after we slept together. So I don't accept his apology and I am definitely not accepting that necklace." Haley continued to eat her breakfast as she was done with this conversation already.

Brooke just rolled her eyes and set the box down and joined Haley at the table for breakfast." I am gonna be in New York for a few days." Brooke said as she finished her coffee.

" What for?" Haley questioned as she got up and set her dishes in the sink.

"I gotta make sure my company is doing okay plus I need to make sure Victoria isn't still going to try to steal my company from me."

" Do you really think your mom is still planning on taking your company from you?" Haley asked as she grabbed her car keys and her purse.

" Of course she is. Victoria has been trying to steal Clothes Over Bros since I moved to New York four years ago. But I'm not gonna give up my company without a fight."Haley nods her head in agreement," Hey if your not busy why don't you come over to the cafe for lunch." Brooke just nods her head, After Haley waved goodbye she walked out of the kitchen and out of the front door heading towards her car.

A couple of hours later after the morning rush. Haley was wiping down the counter when she heard the bell above the door chimed, She looked up and noticed her other best friend Lucas Scott walking in." So are you here to help me?" Haley asked as she tossed another rack towards his way, When he didn't answer Haley looked over her shoulder for a moment," Is everything okay?" She asked him,

" Yeah, everything is fine, It's just that," Lucas stopped for a moment as he wasn't sure how to finish that sentence,

" Just what?" Haley asked as she placed both hands on her hips," What's going on Luke?" Haley questioned as she looked at her best friend, She and Lucas have been best friends since they were kids, They even tried dating once back in high school but of course, it never worked out since they realized that they were better off as best friends, Plus they both felt their relationship was better as brother and sister," I know something is going on so spill it, What is on your mind, Lucas Scott,"

" Remember my brother Nathan?"

" Oh yeah. Ain't he the sports Agent? What about him?" Haley asked curiously.

" Well, he wants to go out with you."

Haley just busted out laughing as she held her chest and calmed her breathing. " That's funny Lucas and usually all you're jokes are not that funny. But this one is definitely hilarious." Haley said as she continued laughing. Just the thought of Nathan Scott being interested in her was funny as hell.

" Haley I'm being serious here. Nathan. really wants to go out with you. Why is that funny?" Lucas asked looking at Haley all confused.

" Yeah, I doubt that Lucas." She snorted." Besides you know my rule I don't date my best friend's brother. Plus I thought he was seeing someone anyways." Haley said as she walked over to the table and started to clean up as the customers had left.

" He was but she broke it off with him a few months ago and since then he has been asking about you. I know you're just getting over David and the messy breakup. But would you consider going on at least one date with Nathan? Just one date Hales. That's all I am asking." Lucas said hopefully. When Haley sighs softly and nods her head, Lucas grins and gave her a kiss on the cheek," I will go tell Nathan to pick you up at seven," He said as he walked out of the cafe before Haley had a chance to protest,

Haley blew out some air and looked around the cafe for a moment," Well I guess I am going out on a date with Nathan Scott," She mumbled to herself. Haley then went back to work and tries to distract herself by keeping herself busy, Of course, Haley always wanted to date Nathan, She has been waiting to date him since high school but she always felt that she wasn't good enough or even attractive enough for him, So she never thought more about it and now that he finally wants to go out with her Haley is starting to wonder if this was a good idea or not,
