Prologue: A Desperate Princess
A month after their defeat in Cloud City, Luke returned to Dagobah to continue his training while Lando and Chewie were sent out to track down Boba Fett to rescue Han.
This left Leia all alone managing the weight of a faltering Rebellion. Aside from three of their best pilots now gone, their monetary funds are beginning to sink. The more they engage the Empire, the more the Empire is able to identify the officials and soldiers of the Rebels and have begun to cut off their sources of funding.
During its formation Bail and Mothma are the biggest supporters and donors of money to the cause, but with Alderaan now destroyed and the Empire closing access to Mon Mothma's reserves in Chandrila. The rebels will be lucky if they last another month, only relying on supply raids and getting dirtier with their dealings on the black market.
Leia doesn't really approve of these underhanded tactics, not wanting to give the Rebellion a bad reputation or be recognized alongside criminal syndicates like the Pykes, Crimson Dawn, or the Hutts. But she was willing to turn a blind eye, while the Rebels were finding a new base and waiting for Lando and Luke to return.
However, one late night, Leia overheard a chatter of female voices in the ship hangar. "Are you sure you're not going to join us? You know this would really help the Rebellion." Said one voice.
"I don't think I can bring myself to do so. Its just too humiliating." Replied another.
"Its called sacrifice, but I won't force you if you don't want to. Just don't tell the others." The first voice replied back. "Of course, you have my word. Please keep safe."
The transport shuttle then took flight and quietly left the hangar base. Leia then peeked out and found the girl who stayed behind cornering her. "Sara, where are they going?"
"I... I don't know what you're talking about." Sara reacted acting coy.
"Don't lie to me, I overheard your conversation. What is this sacrifice that they're talking about? I don't believe I authorized this." Leia pushed.
"Please princess, I assure you this is nothing to be concerned about." Sara continued to deny but Leia maintained her persistence in finding out the truth. "Sara, if this is for the Rebellion then it is for me to be concerned about. Did anyone authorize this?"
Sara gulped and whispered. "Mon Mothma..."
Storming into her quarters, Leia felt betrayed by her supposed friend, and while she hasn't been supportive of the rebels' underhanded moves lately, she had at least been informed about most of them. "Mon do you have something you wish to tell me?"
"What did you find out?"
"I just saw a number of our pilots fly off in a shuttle, what the hell is going on?" Leia asked. Mon postured herself rather annoyed, not wanting Leia to know about her current plans. "They came to me a few days ago, wanting to help out however they can to make us more money. I floated by the idea of Coruscant's red district, and while they were hesitant, they agreed to do it."
"WHAT?! How could you allow our best fighters to become whores." Leia lashed out.
"Well we don't have any other choice Leia, I don't think you understand that we can't just keep raiding supplies from enemy bases. The Empire is growing stronger every day while our X-Wings are slowly falling apart. It hurt me to even suggest it, but desperate times Leia." Mothma explained only to be met by a slap from Leia.
"I have been lenient enough to many of you, Ackbar, and Antilles' suggestions, but this is just one too far." Leia replied exiting the room and walked back into the hangar.
"Leia, where are you going?" Mothma panicked following the furious princess.
"To Coruscant, I can't allow this to happen anymore." Leia said getting into one of their smaller ships.
"Don't be crazy Leia, they can be anywhere in the lower levels right now!"
"Then tell me where have you been sending them." Leia sternly ordered but Mothma continued to talk her out of it. "You are being to rash. The only reason I haven't joined them is because someone can recognize me, if the Rebellion lost you too then its all over for..."
"Tell me where they are." Leia repeated, cutting off Mothma's efforts.
Mothma pulled out a business card. "Lobin Scather, he was once a young Zygerria that I helped escape from his home world during the Clone Wars. I didn't think he'd eventually start a brothel but since he owed me for saving his life. He hired our girls to work for him."
"You... trust him?" Leia asked skeptically.
"Not necessarily, but I didn't know where else to turn to. Better him than any other sleazy brothel owner." Mothma explained.
"I still can't believe you've done this Mothma." Leia replied as she activated the ship's engines. "You can join me in getting them back, or you can step off."
Mothma can only lower her head in shame. "I'm really sorry for all of this Leia, but I can't join you. Not when the Rebellion is most at risk."
Leia left in hyperspace still disgusted by the current state of the Rebels. "This is just what I needed... a trip to a fucking whore house." She thought sarcastically as she parked her ship.
Disguising herself under a darkened cloak, Leia walked through the streets of strip clubs and whore houses, dimly lit by neon signs, and fading lights from the upper levels. The darkened environment helped hide Leia's face as she took in the perverted streets of Coruscant's lower levels. She has spent a lot of time in Coruscant as a senator, but it feels like she's walking in a whole new planet with more than unpleasant sights of prostitutes and interested 'clients' surrounding her all around.
A drunk and hairy Bothan caught her by surprise blocking her way to ask. "Hey there you sexy piece of ass? How much for a taste?"
Leia was nothing short of shocked by the creature's upfront lewdness quickly replying. "Errr, not for sale asshole." She was terrified, but her haughty nature didn't fade. However, she did start to walk faster to avoid any more interactions from other creatures starting to notice her. All of them, able to sense that she was not privy to the lower levels. A cocky Rodian stared along commenting. "Hmmmm, fresh meat."
Leia was able to hide through the shadows, and without any more complications she found Lobin's "Pussy Cage" brothel. It was on the side of the building with its name in red neon lights. But before she could walk in, out came the rebel pilots.
"Princess Organa? What are you doing here?" said Dianne.
"I've come to get you girls. Oh, its good to know you're safe." Leia replied giving all of them a hug.
"Don't worry about us princess, it was quite a shock at first but we've been getting used to it." Dianne replied back.
"Its not so bad with Lobin's protection, but even still you shouldn't be here princess. Come we should go." Amanda added.
Just as they tried to bring Leia back to base, an instinct like reflex kicked in as she shrugged off her shoulders and told them. "No..."
"What do you mean no?" Dianne asked confusingly.
"I didn't come here just to rescue you... necessarily." Leia said as her heartbeat started to quicken as she confessed to the other girls. "How do I work for Lobin?
[Author's Note: Thanks for reading the story! I hope you all enjoy this refined version of it. It took me awhile to get back to this one because I originally wrote it alongside "The Ultimate Prize" fanfic and the stories felt too similar with Leia having different 'partners.' I have a new direction for this story now, but most of the story beats from the original would still happen again, so I hope you all enjoy this refined version of the story! - If you wish as much, I will re-upload the original version again somewhere.]
