The FBI Agent and the Alpha 2: The Business Mogul and the Computer Genius
I could've sworn I posted this at the same time I posted number one but if I did it has since disappeared off my manage stories so I'm re-post it hope you enjoy please review.
"Mate with me," Aaron proposed to Penelope Garcia. They had met at a cookout in David Rossi's backyard, his brother-in-law Spencer had introduced them. He had told Aaron that Garcia was unattached and didn't even have a serious boyfriend, much less a significant other. The two of them had got to talking, as they watched the older children play. The others there were Jennifer Jareau and her mate Will, along with their two children Henry and Lauren, and his two Jack and Britney, Spencer, his sister and the team, Morgan, Prentiss, Anderson, Rossi and Garcia.
Aaron had watched, Spencer paid some attention to his godchildren, who were only five years old. It was very clear that he wanted his own children and it probably hurt to be around others who had kids. Of course, if the relationship between his sister and Spencer worked out, then they could have those children, which would fulfill the Omega's need for a family. Aaron knew Spencer loved his team and considered them his family, but that wasn't the same as having children.
The two of them were in his penthouse suite. If he and Penelope had children he would have to see about buying a house. There was only one extra room that his sister had moved out of, recently when she had mated with Spencer. They now had triplets two boys and a girl, with more in the future.
"I'll be happy to, but I think we need to talk first," Penelope said.
"Let me guess what you want to say," Aaron said smiling. "You won't give up your job at BAU."
"That's it exactly," Penelope agreed calmly. She had known that Aaron was unlikely to get upset, as he was certainly more reasonable than a lot of Alphas she had known.
"I don't blame you," Aaron admitted. "I think that was Haley's main problem. She didn't have a job and a lot of wealthy women are very dissatisfied with their lives, even if they don't believe they are. She could have if she had wanted one, I wouldn't have objected, but I think she just wanted to be lazy and live in the lap of luxury. If you want to keep your job then I won't object. I have a business empire to run and while I can delegate and do, there are some things I need to see too myself."
Penelope nodded knowing that was likely going to be Aaron's response.
"Alright, I'll be happy to mate with you. I've fallen in love with you and I've been looking, for someone to settle down with for years," Penelope admitted.
"With as many hours you put into your job that's not always easy," Aaron sympathized.
"That's the truth," Penelope reflected. "I always thought Morgan and I might try the courting thing, since we are close, but I've come to realize that he is not interested in settling down, which upsets his mother Fran, but Morgan will be Morgan. I can't really afford to wait any longer for him to come around, so I just decided, that if I found someone..."
"That you weren't going to wait for Morgan to get off his butt," Aaron said in understanding.
"No, I'm getting to that stage in my life where I desperately want children, and while I could have a few with some random Alpha or an Omega, even another beta..." Penelope paused
"You want to be in a legitimate mated relationship," Aaron said.
"That and I make enough to support me and maybe one child, not two or three. I know very well that our species nearly always has at least two at a time and I could probably support at least that many, but it would be a strain, so as much as I wanted to, I wouldn't do that to my child. Them never knowing who their father was, because the father wasn't interested in playing a role in their lives. He would know about them because there is no way that he could not, since we only get pregnant when we are in heat."
"You couldn't've have him demand parental rights," Aaron suggested.
"That's part of it," Penelope said. "I could have adopted I admit, but with my job I doubted I would succeed. Single parents that work as much as I do would be unlikely to adopt."
"So I'll be happy to get you pregnant with you next heat," Aaron grinned at the thought. "But I think we should concentrate on us mating first and then looking for a house. This penthouse apartment isn't big enough for anymore children. There's only one more room that my sister occupied and is just now free, after she mated with Spencer."
"Now that was something of a surprise," Garcia said. "Though I happy one."
"Why?" Aaron asked in surprise.
"Because he doesn't seem like the type to settle down. Most of the team is that way actually. It's hard to find someone that will accept the job you do for the crappy pay," Penelope explained. "I had no idea that he'd had an intense desire for children, but also knew it might not be possible. Reid is very good at keeping himself, to himself. He's not one to discuss such things, even with people he considers his family, though unlike the team, I'm not a profiler."
"Almost all omegas have a desire for children at some point in their lives," Aaron said. "It might not happen, but most of them do have that desire."
"I never thought about it that way," Penelope said, even as she cuddled into Aaron broad shoulder. She was grateful for Spencer introducing her to the man she had fallen in love with. Aaron was a good man, something she had discovered for herself, though Spencer's assurances had helped her say yes, to that first date. She had trusted Spencer to not steer her wrong and he had not.
"Children are important to our species in general and most of us have a strong desire for them, with some exceptions of course," Aaron said. "Me, for instance, would like a few more. Jack and Brittany are nearly six now. It was rather fun to have three infants up here temporarily anyway, during that debacle with William Reid. Yes, I know was a strain on Selima, but it was only temporary. She was paid very well for her taking on three more infants. I realized that I missed having young children in my home, because while Jack and Britney are still young they're hardly toddlers anymore."
"You should have at least a few more, since you were married to Haley for years, so what happened?" Penelope asked.
This was a question that she had been afraid to ask before, but she knew Aaron well enough now to know that he would take the question with a good attitude. It was rather dangerous to ask such a personal question of most alphas, unless you knew each other really well. Spencer's assurances that he was a good guy had only made her do, what she really wanted to do in the first place and that was accept a date from him.
"No one knows this, but my sister and now, Spencer, but Haley, had trouble carrying a baby to term, which happens sometimes. She had three miscarriages before she was finally blessed with Jack and Britney. She was on bed rest nearly the whole time on the doctor's orders. I was so happy when they were finally born healthy. Unfortunately, our marriage begin to break up soon after that."
"But if it hadn't, we wouldn't have been free to date," Penelope pointed out.
"That's true enough," Aaron decided seeing the logic. He never would've cheated on Haley, no matter how often she accused him of doing so. He certainly had stronger feelings for a Penny, as she liked to be called, then he ever had for Haley and it was a bonus that his sister really liked her. Spencer had introduced them and said she was unattached, but that was all, as he had stayed out of it otherwise, which really, was very smart. Aaron would be grateful forever that Spencer had done so, as he knew that his brother-in-law had paved the way, as he likely would have had a much harder time getting to know Penny otherwise.
"So why don't we get to that mating," Aaron grinned at her adorably.
"Sounds good to me," Penelope giggled. "I'm just going to call in and take the next few days off. I certainly have the time coming. Morgan will understand."
"So what was Morgan's reaction when he learn that we had started to court?" Aaron asked curiously.
"He was happy for us," Penelope said. "He trusts you to take care of me, because he's met you now and got a good gauge. Of course, Reid also paved the way. He takes Reid's opinion seriously."
"Good," Aaron decided. "I'm glad Morgan's reaction was so positive. I know I would have trouble getting to know you, if the whole team stood in my way. In fact, it would probably be impossible."
"It would be," Penelope agreed. "I certainly won't mind being related to Reid, as he's a good guy and also my baby."
"I know you think of him like a son or possibly a nephew," Aaron said unoffended. "I don't mind that at all really, and it's always good to get along with your in-laws. It also helps I know, that you've been working together for years."
"That's true," Penelope acknowledged. "We're all pretty close, though in a platonic way."
The two of them talked for a few more minutes before Penelope called into work to take the next week off, as there would be a nesting period involved.
Everybody on the team would be happy for her she knew, especially Spencer when he heard, as he was visiting relatives he had never known he had along with Safina.
"You know where the bedroom is," Aaron said grinning from ear to ear. "I'll be there in a few minutes. I've been looking forward to this for sometime."
"I can't blame you there," Penelope admitted, before she headed for the master bedroom, which was at least double the size of a normal master.

"Congratulations, Penny," JJ told her, when Garcia came into work a week later. The little used mating gland on the side of the Beta's neck now looked like a fresh hickey. It was broken for the first time in Garcia's life and the last as far she was concerned.
"Thank you," Penelope said blushing a little. "I've never been so happy."
"That's the way it should be," JJ said. "When I met Will for the first time it was like being struck by lightning. Traveling back and forth was something of a pain, but now we're mated and have two adorable children."
"So is there a possibility of anymore in the future?" Penelope asked.
"I don't know," JJ admitted. "I would like to get pregnant at least one more time, but on the other hand, Henry and Lauren are still a bit of a handful."
"They are still young though," Penelope pointed out.
"Yeah, they're five now," JJ sighed. "It doesn't seem like it's been five years, since they were born. I have to admit they have been asking for some siblings, but Will and I haven't decided. We'd love to have the same thing again a girl and a boy, but there's no guarantees we wouldn't get two girls or two boys."
"Does it really matter?" Penelope asked.
"No, I suppose not," JJ admitted. "Still, Will and I are discussing it, though we'll probably decide to go ahead and do it, but don't count that as a guarantee. Will has final say, you know that. Still, he's not unreasonable, as you know."
"It's a matter of finances isn't it?" Penelope realized. "That's definitely one of the reasons I never went ahead with my idea to have children without being mated. If I knew I was only going to have one, it wouldn't matter, but I don't make enough to support three or more and even two would be a strain."
"Now, that's not going to be a problem is it?" JJ asked her friend grinning.
"Absolutely not," Penelope said returning her friend's grin. "We've already started discussing children, as I'm older, well, into my late 30s. We agreed to have some with my next heat, which won't be for three months or so."
"That's terrific," JJ said happy for her friend. "I'm very happy for you."
"Thank you, I never imagined I'd meet someone like Aaron, you know," Penelope said blushing. "He chivalrous and kind. He treats me like an equal, which is a pretty rare quality in an Alpha or anyone really, especially a man."
"He's also very handsome," JJ pointed out with another grin knowing her friend had noticed that.
"That's just a bonus, though a very nice one certainly," Penelope said blushing again. "What matters to me, is he doesn't treat me like a slave or a sex toy. He didn't mind that I kept my job for instance, as we discussed that before I agreed to the mating."
"Yeah, that's all too common," JJ admitted looking mad and sad at that. "Maybe not as common, as it was 200 years ago, before the Council was formed, but still..."
"It still happens," Penelope finished. "In any case, I'll have to thank Reid for introducing us."
"You and Spence, are now going to be related, through marriage anyway," JJ realized.
"Something I already realized and I certainly don't mind," Penelope said. "I already think of him as the nephew anyway, this will just make it semiofficial."
"That's true," JJ acknowledged.
"Well, I had better get to work," Penelope said.
"I bet you, you miss Aaron already, as I know I certainly missed Will, especially after we first mated and before the children came along," JJ said.
"Yeah, I do," Penelope admitted. "But I wouldn't do well stuck at home and Aaron's busy for a good portion of the day anyway, so it's not like he'd be around for us to spend it together, even if I didn't have to work."
"That's a point," JJ acknowledged.
"I do miss Reid though, as we haven't seen him in over a week," Penelope said.
"Yeah me too," JJ admitted, "But he deserved this time away, with his mate. He'll be back probably in another few days. I can't believe his father never mentioned that he had a sibling, though really, it should be common sense. He deserves this time to get to know the aunt he never knew he had and also her mate."
"Yeah, he does," Penelope agreed. "The team isn't the same without him, but still, I understand and the others do too."
"He'll be back and then it'll be like he was never gone," JJ said. "We've all taken time off in the past, though I admit it's not usually so long
Penelope nodded and left JJ's office to head to her own.
