Angel arrived at quake where he was supposed to be meeting Cordelia and her parents. It was a nice fancy restaurant that he would never be able to afford. He walked into quake. "Hello sir can I help you" the hostess asked. Angel nodded. "Yea I'm supposed to be meeting people here. The Chases" Angel said. The hostess smiled at him. "Follow me sir" she said leading Angel through the restaurant. They reached the table and Angel saw Cordelia in a tight black dress sitting there with her parents. He could tell she didn't look happy. Angel smiled at the hostess. "Thank you" he said. The hostess nodded and walked away. Angel took off his leather coat and put it on the back of his chair. "I'm so sorry I'm late. I just had some things to take care of" he said sitting down next to Cordelia. He looked over at Cordelia and gave her a quick kiss. "Hi. You look beautiful" he said. "Hi" she said back unenthused. "Hello Angel. It's good to see you fully clothed and not all over my daughter" Cordelia's father David said.

"DAD" Cordelia said seriously. Angel looked over at her father. "I want to apologize for that. Had we've known you two were there we never would have…" Angel started to say but David interrupted him. "You know it's impolite to be late when you are properly meeting people for the first time" he said. "Dad seriously" Cordelia said. Angel shook his head. "I meant no disrespect. I just had to meet with a friend about something" he said. Cordelia took Angel's hand. "Angel doesn't have to explain anything to you" Cordelia said. David nodded his head. "You're right. I would think the man that you're in love with that says he's in love with you would make you a priority and not choose you second" David said. "That's not what I was doing" Angel said. "So Angel what is it you do again" Cordelia's mother Tracy asked. Angel turned to her. "I'm a private detective. I work with Cordelia and our friend Doyle" he explained. "How much money do you make off that Angel" David asked.

"You don't have to answer that" Cordelia said glaring at her father. David looked at Angel expectantly. "Well, sir honestly I don't do it for the money. I do it because I want to…" Angel started but once again David interrupted him. "So you don't have money. I guess you're just living off my daughter then" David said. Angel was starting to get mad. "Now wait a minute…" he started to say but David interrupted him once again. "How old are you Angel" David asked. "David that's enough" Tracy said. David looked at his wife. "We talked about this Tracy. We have to do this" he said. She shook her head. "Not here" she said. David turned back to Angel. "So you're age Angel" David said. Cordelia shook her head. "What does that have to do with anything" she asked. "I'm trying to show you who the man you say you love is" he said. Angel glared at David. "So who exactly am I" Angel asked. David pulled a file out of his briefcase and threw it on the table in front of Angel and Cordelia.

"You're a liar, con man, gold digger and you are too old for my daughter" David said. Angel opened the file and him and Cordelia stared at it in shock. There were a bunch of photos of Angel that were obviously taken without him knowing. "I hired a private investigator to follow you ever since you manipulated my daughter into moving to San Francisco with you. He couldn't find anything on you past the last couple of years. So Angel why don't you tell my daughter what this is really all about" David asked. Angel looked up at him. "What do you think this is about" Angel asked. "Well obviously you're using my daughter and when you're done with her she's going to be left heartbroken and alone. You're obviously not good enough for her" David said. Angel was about to say something when Cordelia stood up. She closed the file and threw it at her father. She looked at Angel. "We're leaving" she said. "Cordelia wait. You don't…" David started but Cordelia interrupted him.

"I don't care what either one of you have to say. I love Angel and he loves me. We're getting married no matter what you say. You can either support that decision or not but if you don't you're not invited to the wedding. Angel's a good man and he doesn't have to answer to either one of you" Cordelia said. She looked at Angel who was sitting there stunned. He hadn't really seen this side of Cordelia before but it was incredibly sexy. "Let's go babe" she said. Angel stood up grabbing his coat off the chair and putting it on. He followed her through the restaurant. He took her hand. "That was incredibly sexy" he said. Cordelia smiled at him sadly. "I'm sorry Angel. I didn't know they did any of that" Cordelia said. They got out of Quake he stopped walking. "It's not your fault. You were right this was a mistake" he said. "It doesn't matter what they say. I love you Angel and I can't wait to get married to you" she said. "It's going to be the best day of my life because I'm marrying the woman of my dreams" Angel said.

At the Halliwell manor, Doyle was in the attic with Piper. "Make sure you double the recipe" Doyle said. Piper nodded. "I know" she said. She threw ingredients in a pot and it caused a big explosion. Prue and Phoebe came running into the room. "Are you OK" Prue asked. "Nothing to see here move along" Piper said. Prue and Phoebe looked up at Doyle surprised. "Doyle what are you doing here" Phoebe asked. "Piper's helping me with something" Doyle said. Doyle looked around. "Where's Andy" he asked. "He's picking up his Aunt and Uncle who flew in for the wedding" Prue said. Prue and Phoebe walked over to the table Piper was sitting at waving their hands trying to get the smoke away from them. "What did you guys do" Prue asked. "More like who did you guys do it to" Phoebe asked seeing two voodoo dolls in the pot. "I put a charm on Doyle and Doug but I doubled the recipe" Piper said. Doyle nodded.

"It was just something to boost our confidence" he said. "So now Doug can give love a shot and give me a break" Piper explained. "Now maybe with a newfound confidence with a little magical help maybe I'll be able to find a date for the wedding" Doyle said. "Go ahead Prue yell at them" Phoebe said. Prue looked at Phoebe. Phoebe looked back at her then they looked at Piper and Doyle. "It's not for personal gain and it fits into the whole harm none rule we have to live by" Piper said. Doyle shook his head. "Listen guys it was my idea. I just needed a little magical help to get a date that's all" Doyle said. "Besides Prue's the one who told me to do something" Piper said. "Did not" Prue said. "Yes you did. I just need Doug to stop dropping things so I can stop freezing things. I'm just exhausted" Piper said. "Maybe he and Shelly aren't meant to be together. Not everybody's supposed to be" Prue said. "Oh that was…that was real subtle Prue" Phoebe said.

Piper let out a little laugh. Phoebe looked over at Doyle. "Doyle you know you really don't need a date right? There's nothing wrong with going to the wedding by yourself" Phoebe said. Doyle shook his head. "I just want someone to go with who I could possibly grow to like" Doyle said. "We'll never know if Doug and Shelly are meant to be unless Doug has the guts to pop the question. All I'm doing is giving it to him" Piper said. "It's just like the cowardly lion from the Wizard of OZ" Phoebe said. Prue Piper and Doyle all looked at her questioningly. "Well it is" Phoebe said. They all smiled at her. Doyle turned to Piper. "Well thank you Piper. We'll have to see if this spell works tomorrow" Doyle said. He walked out of the attic. Now that he had some magical assistance hopefully he'd be able to find someone who he could be with.
