After Party
Final Battle
FFBE White Maelstrom. Plays.
The sun light closed under the billowing clouds. A gust of wind washed over the Plains of Relaks, bending the trees and causing the tall grass to undulate in shiny waves, the lakes rippling.
Above the clouds closed the otherworldly portal and a colossal being, began its decent.
"It's coming… Everyone get ready!"
"Hmm… just five more seconds for Scry to work and… done!"
Out of the clouds fell a ring of feathers and scales. A loop covered in forty wings wrapping one over the other.
"The Gale Tyrant… a half dragon half bird race monster with affinity for lightning, wind and light…!"
The ring of scales and wings then came undone, revealing in the shape of a forty meters long flying serpent.
A golden mane flowing over the dorsal spine reaching from the head to the tail, protruding from its skull two tenth meters backwards horns with branching bones, twenty short white feathered wings in each side of the body, two small arm claws near the head and two more closer to the tail, bright glowing yellow eyes and two long whiskers dancing over a mouthful of serrated teeth and 5 ft long fangs.
A warm aura of gold shines from the angelic looking creature, concealing it's true nature and mesmerizing the monsters and villagers of the Relaks plains who gazed at the sky.
The Tyrant coiled in the air as it began scanning the earthly world underneath, until it set its sights on a far away and tiny looking crater.
"It's got its eye on us, Storm…"
"Oh I can see that alright!"
"My Scry says we can forget about hurting it with any of the elements it specializes in. It's got like five times more than enough to nullify all damage, but fire and dark will work just fine!"
"Excellent work Rylak… Reberta we're counting on you!"
"I'm going to need more time to get everything ready…!"
"I got you! Now hurry!!"
Ignitos took flight and Reberta began spinning her spear in one hand, gathering energy for a pillar of magic that lights a hue over the party. Boosting their power to three and a half times with the Dragons Fury skill.
The Gale Tyrant took notice of the energy release and began growling with lightning dancing over its body.
Kryla followed her Scry immediately after with Soul Surge to help Esther and brought out a vial of Calamity Concoction.
A cookie cannon and two gingerbread men appeared before the witch. She hurriedly handles the cookie men a vial of foul liquid which they loaded upon a minty ball inside the cannon, and then she gave the men her signal and with a loud BOOM the vial went blasting off towards the draconic Tyrant.
The vial shattered with an insignificant crick upon the nose of the monster, before unleashing a storm of ailments that shook and enraged the surprised Tyrant, who began to trash and roar in the sky.
Esther gulped upon the sight, gathering her energy and switching to her black form, before casting Electromagnetic Shield, Boundless Stasis and Energizing Bunny skills.
Ensuring she'll have the enraged Tyrant full attention and even then, she'll be able to cover her party members from any physical or magical attacks that come their way.
Karten gathers his dark powers into a somber claw and spreads his dark magic through the party, imbuing their weapons with the power of darkness.
So long as he's around, his party members will be able to turn their own attacks on themselves to recover if need be.
Over the skies, the Gale Tyrant body began to glow gold and a sphere of lightning twenty meters in diameter formed over its mouth, before it was fired down at the party.
Immediately after the mane of the Gale Tyrant began to glow from gold to silver.
"I'll get this one! Hahhh!!" Esther gathered her power and blitzed towards the sky.
The giant sphere soon covered her entire field of vision, blocking the sight of the Gale Tyrant up in the sky.
Esther intercepted the lightning sphere as it descended upon the party and struck with her greatsword.
A clash boomed between the rabbit heroine and the golden sphere. Electric currents coursing over her body, leaving a tingly feel that rejuvenated her from the damage sustained in her previous battle.
"I feel goosebumps! I'm stronger than ever! Now take this!!" She cried and unleashed her strength to go all out.
Her power slash bisecting the lightning sphere and causing it to disperse into the air with the roar of lightning.
The bunny heroine flashed a smile as she looked up towards the sky, only to panic when she found out she'd lost sight of the serpentine dragon.
Esther heart skipped a beat, and she looks down in fright. A gathering of white light formed around her party members and reformed into the draconic monster, who lashed with its tail at her party members.
The Electromagnetic Shield triggered and forced Esther to blitz and appear right before her companions, where she turned her greatsword on its side and pressed her shoulder against it to block the tail sweep.
TACLANK.
"Ugh!!"
The force of the tail punched through the air like an explosion and dragged Esther towards the ground struggling to hold it back.
The strength difference so immense it made Esther feel like a village girl trying to catch a wrecking ball with her hands.
The lightning seals Esther produced as foothold to stop the blow shattered like glass as her back crashed through them.
Karten gathered power under his monstrous feet and jumped towards the sky like a bullet. The veins on his arms popping and bulging and a tower of dark seals forming underneath him as he goes.
The white-haired man appears behind Esther and slides his arms over her flank and shoulder, striking at the Asterisk Alpha blade with all his might in an attempt to support Esther clash with the Tyrant.
The dragon tail shook as it struggled with the sudden halt in its momentum before it pushed through the strength of both Precursors and all the magical seals they set up as support.
On the ground Kryla, Reberta and Ignitos scurried away as the tail sweep impacted with a heavy roar.
The crash raised a monster wave of murky waters that washed away Kryla with a maidenly "KYAAAA!!!" Whereas Reberta leaps over the air just to escape, later fusing with Ignitos into her crimson armor form.
The Gale Tyrant coils in the air, dragging its tail out before snapping down with its maw.
Underneath laid Esther body splayed over a groaning Karten. The two Precursors had but a second to see the gaping mouth closing before they kicked off into the air, evading the sharp fangs as they snap down, viciously scooping a chunk of the ground.
The dragon monster then spins in circles, lashing his tail against Karten and snapping its fangs down on the black rabbit.
The tail cut through Karten silhouette, seemingly bisecting him in two and the snapping fangs tore through Esther like she was made of thin air.
"Yikes! That could've been me!" Cried the real bunny girl.
Soon the monster realized he had attacked an afterimage.
"Everyone regroup, hurry!!" Cried the Crimson dragoon.
As soon as Reberta transformed she'd casted support from the skies. Generating a light that causes the illusion of seeing afterimages. And her Destroyers Dominion—Dragon skill. Boosting everyone in her party with corrosive power against the dragons race.
Meanwhile inside the murky wave, heading far out towards the border of the crater.
"Uglu bluah gluhgluhgluh! Blugh gluh luglu!!"
A lime glow shone out of the rising murky wave that dragged a helpless witch inside. Esther and Reberta soon found their weapons imbued with dark magic as a decisive Kryla had managed to cast Jinx – Blasphemous Ritual twice despite her drowning predicament.
The murky wave crashed against the end of the crater with a pained cry from the witch inside and then began its return towards the center.
The dragon Tyrant coiled and locked eyes with the black rabbit falling down the air as Karten began circling around the creature.
The dragon mane glowing from silver to gold and gridding its teeth for a vicious bite.
The black rabbit, true to her role as the party tank, taunted by sticking her tongue out and pulling her eyelid down, before spinning in the air and clapping her bare ass at the creature.
"Oh you wanna go!? Come at— Eeyikes!!!" The bunny cried as a colossal mandible snapped just inches away from her butt.
She was about to tell the dragon she was the fastest and there's no way he could ever keep up with her when the Gale Tyrant invoked the power of lightning and blitzed with the roar of thunder.
"Eeekk!!! Kya!! This thing can blitz!!? How it's it that something so big can use blitz!!? Yikes!! That's cheating!!" Esther cried foul.
Her blitz had her bouncing side to side over the skies of the Relaks region, only for a gargantuan lightning to chase after her with a thunderous roar.
Huge and sharp maws snapping with a loud clank at every chance Esther had to switch from one blitz to another, before reappearing once again with a giant serpentine dragon biting down a hairbreadth from her tail.
Sometimes she would reappear back from the blitz crying and bending her body forward to dodge a close bite, other times she would show up caught prying the creature mouth open with a single tooth tickling on her cocked neck and a row digging on her butt, other times she'd appear crying in fright and sliding down the throat of the dragon, other times she would leap out the mouth covered in saliva as it snaps right behind her, other times she'll show up flashing her skeleton as the Tyrant pointlessly blasts her with lightning.
It was as she flees in panic that she began to understand the true horror of the creature looming over her.
With Reberta three and a half times buff and Rylak debuffing the dragon Tyrant to over one fifth of his stats, the creature still outclassed her in every way from strength, power, durability or even speed.
She soon began to feel not so comfortable in her role as the team decoy.
"Reberta!! HELP ME!!"
"I'm trying!! But I just can't catch up with you two!!"
It was during one of the blitz that the Gale Tyrant saw something closing from the corner of his eye and one of its forty wings wrapped around its right side, blocking when his head was rocked by a burst of dark energy.
"It's our turn now, monster!" Karten shouted.
A dozen claws of darkness rage out in a blow so powerful it knocked the giant dragon towards the ground.
Karten had been reading the pattern of their movements and cuts ahead, loading his power of darkness aiming to catch an opening when the dragon and the rabbit flicker out from the lightning.
The giant dragon monster shook from the blow of dark energy before feeling a blitz punch against his head from the other side, slashing a deep cut in its face and severing the left horn from the body.
Esther turned on her sneaker heels amidst the seals of lightning energy and bounced back to the offensive with her white form as soon as an opportunity allowed her.
Then a piercing blow was felt coming from above, when Reberta took advantage of the opening left by her partners, beating her wings in a dive and knocking the colossal serpent even further down the air with a booming blow.
The falling dragon serpent crashed on a green hill with an earthquake rumbling. The spearhead digging into the hard shell of scales and drawing black blood.
The Gale Tyrant roars viciously as all forty wings around his body began beating frenetically in an attempt to fly away.
Karten flared his claws and dived down slamming on the monster head, knocking the Tyrant off the air with another haunting barrage as it attempted to take flight and escape the subsequent Esther bolting slice.
The wings upon the monster body began to rot and darken with the cuts of Esther dark imbued claymore and Karten and Reberta linked strikes. Forcing the creature to coil in a ring and wrap all forty wings over its body in an attempt to defend from the relentless offensive.
"Agh! Damnit!! I can't get a clean hit like this!!" Cried the frustrated rabbit as she tears incessantly at the feathered walls.
Reberta dug out her spear before backflipping into the air and beating her wings in another dive, driving the spear tip even deeper into the head of the creature who trashed furiously as his mane began to glow in a white hue.
"Esther, use this!!"
Reberta beats her wings performing a leap from the dragon head, leaving behind her Crimson Malice spear encrusted on the skull of the creature.
Esther kicks off a lightning seal into a blitz, tearing down at the hard shell of feathers and scales, ricocheting from side to side leaving a crisscrossing trail of lightning gold behind before shooting up high towards the sky for a finishing blow.
"It's the closing act now bastard!!"
The white rabbit reached the zenith of her blitz before diving down on a mass of glowing white light.
Her dive impacting the ground with a tremor as she attempted to nail Reberta spear down the head of the creature but found out she'd cut through formless light.
"What!!? Where is it…!? I didn't see it readying a blitz so how did it get away!?"
"It's in the sky far above us! That wasn't a blitz… it's the same as before, this creature knows teleport!" Cried Reberta as she picked up her Crimson Malice from the ground.
The Gale Tyrant roared in rage and trashes in the air, causing his vile energy to agitate the clouded sky, until lightning began striking out in all directions.
The dragon monster mane then started glowing with a dual hue of gold and silver, before it started blitzing across the sky.
"Oh, for crying out loud what is he up to now!?" Esther whines as she enters her dark form.
"Something bad I can feel it…" A fearful Reberta said.
As they looked up at the sky, the murky wave returned back and Karten swung his claw to make it split in two around the party, causing a muddy witch to fall down as she found herself unable to float in the air anymore.
"Aaahhhh whoops!" Kryla cried, landing in a princess carry by Karten arms, before hugging the man affectionately.
High in sky the sunlight had begun to pierce down the dark clouds, as they've become rippled and slashed from all the blitzing coming from the gargantuan lightning.
"Wait… I think I know what he's doing… he's catching lightning!!" The bunny heroine observes.
The party looked in horror as the striking lightning over the sky kept disappearing one by one until only a gigantic one remained, and it soon took the form of the dragon Tyrant, holding a sphere of light and lightning in one of its claws.
The pearl of gold and silver spinning like two droplets in the form of the Tai Chi symbol.
The Gale Tyrant opened its claw with an eerie silence and dropped the pearl of light and lightning on the world below.
The bodies of all living beings in the Relaks region became paralyzed for an inexplicable reason. Trapping them in their unavoidable demise.
The monsters and villagers alike who looked up high at the sky couldn't seem to move an inch, nor could they find the strength to blink anymore.
Just like their spirit understood what was about to happen and left their bodies an empty husk.
With not a word coming out of her mouth and a heart wanting to jump out of her chest, Esther power erupted like nothing ever seem before and she blitzed towards the sky with a lone thunderous roar rippling through the air.
Kryla found herself shook out of her trance as Karten turned on the opposite direction of the light and lightning pearl with a leap nearing sonic speeds, and a frightened Reberta following right behind.
There wasn't a word traded between them, only an urge to run away as fast as possible while Esther tried to hold it back.
The blitz of the bunny heroine impacted with the pearl over a dozen kilometers into the air and a flash began, followed by an ear shattering rumble of thunder.
BRACKAA.
A swirling ball of light and lightning flared out and expanded, reaching a five miles diameter into the air and clearing out the sky.
A shockwave that uprooted the forests of the land and pushed the mountains into a landslide rumbled over the region. Hitting Karten and Reberta from the back. Forcing the proud lycanthrope to roll and break with the fall as he tries his best to shield Kryla while all three get washed away in the seemingly endless force of the shockwave.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Esther cried out from the center of the swirling pearl of light and lightning.
Her strongest barrier disintegrated in an instant, and her sword knocked out her hands from the kindling blast.
She cried in a high-pitched shriek while she holds back the giant pearl from making landfall and destroying everything.
Her dominion over the lightning the only reason she hadn't vaporized just like her clothes. The power of the lightning recovery clashing and competing with the light destroying her body over and over again.
No one element besting the other and none surpassing her unshakable desire to protect the innocent of the region.
She bravely weathered the elements until the power of the pearl began to wane and dissipate, clearing out the flashing light, and revealing a gaping mouth closing in.
The mane of the Gale Tyrant turning emerald and the creature dives into the pearl of light and lightning, traveling through coursing currents of vicious power before meeting Esther by the center and blasting a cone of wind magic at point blank.
A violent tornado breaks out the swirling pearl of light and lightning as it begins to disperse.
"ESTHER!!!"
"STORM!!!"
"UAGHHH!!!" The lightning heroine cries as her consciousness fades.
The tornado shooting towards the ground before impacting with a violent crash and crater that sends debris flying.
When the dust settles, in the center lays a naked Esther splayed on the ground with her eyelids shutting and her hair cascading over her visage.
"Oh… n… no…!" A tearful Reberta covered her sobbing visage.
Karten long hair began flowing in rage, in his eyes a murderous bloodlust had been born for the draconian Tyrant.
Esther had fallen, and the Gale Tyrant roared high in the sky trying to quell his unending rage, before turning its attention towards the remaining party members down in the ground.
It's mane and body starting to be enveloped in dual hues of emerald and silver, exploding into a flame of aura that enveloped its entire body.
The aura flame of emerald and silver exploded into a pillar of light that seared the ground underneath and left a much larger mark in the sky.
The mark by the earth transformed into a seal of wind and light before it broke apart like glass, turning into a hundred human sized version of what it once was.
The seals of wind and light magic then broke into all directions and begun their hunting charge for any signs of life nearby. Hovering a foot over the ground and moving at the speed of bullets.
Upon the sight, the party stood their ground and poised their guard preparing to block the incoming magic attacks.
"Karten dearest… I don't think we should stand here like this… I don't know what that attack does but it's on the level of the big one from before!!" Only the witch wanting to run away.
Her words alarming the lycanthrope and the dragoon girl, as they watched far out when one of the wind and light seals caught up to an stampede of monsters fleeing in panic.
The spell unlike it's predecessor, causing another side effect on the creatures of the land, making them want for nothing more but to run away with their lives.
It was then when one of the seals glows underneath a fearful Basilisk.
There was a silence following a rising column of smoke heading towards the larger seal of wind and light in the sky, a spray of blood that tinted the grass red before the rippling noise and the shockwave caught up to the party.
Reberta through her fusion with Ignitos acquired the heightened vision of a dragon, and trembled in horror as she looked up not five seconds after to find the crushed body of the Basilisk floating overhead the larger seal of wind and light.
The magical seal that had formed above the seven layers of the atmosphere and leading into outer space.
Instant Death.
"Run!! Karten if they catch you is over!!" A tense Reberta cried out when's she realized what kind of spell was.
Karten nerves heighten and his eyes dart over the hills of undulating grass they found themselves in, catching sight of over twenty seals heading his way and more beginning to change course after disposing of the hapless monsters fleeing in panic.
Eighteen columns of smoke more formed out the monster stampede as the seals of wind and light crossed over the grassy hills on their way to the party.
A Rukh taking flight only for the magical seal to reach higher into the air before flashing underneath the bird creature, killing it instantly with the force of the launch alone. A Sahagin diving into a river nearby to later be followed underneath the water and ejecting off the earth with a jetstream of blood when the seal glows.
The Precursor of Shadows turned in place holding the witch close to his body and he leaps off the hills with a whistling roar booming behind.
A lone tree on the hills ejected off the face of the earth when the seal of wind and light glowed under a mercury bat hiding inside. The monsters of the stampede left behind cropped into a gory mess from the pressure and flying in a column of smoke towards the outer space.
The seals of wind and light extinguish all monster life in their wake as they chase the fleeing Karten.
"Kya!! Karten dearest they're catching up!!" A frightened witch cried from the lycanthrope embrace.
Karten heart suddenly skipped a beat and his world began moving slowly. His attention focusing on the helpless girl he was carrying, before looking around and finding no one else fleeing together with him.
His head turned as it's the world was ending. Far out behind he gazed upon the silent figure of the other girl he was missing.
Her head turned down and spear firm in hand, with the other hugging her shoulder.
Her left wing fractured, impeding her ability to flee like he could, she hadn't tried to move a single step.
Karten hadn't noticed when it happened, but Reberta broke her wing when they got washed away under the pearl of light and lightning shockwave.
The blood drained from Karten face, and he voiced a curse aimed at himself, for not seeing to Reberta health before fleeing with Rylak.
A single tear of horror started rolling down the silver haired dragoon girl face, when the seal underneath glowed.
Karten felt the world going deaf behind, as a pillar of smoke rises towards the sky, and a single tear drops over the grass blade nearby.
Kryla's breathing stopped and her body froze in fear by Karten arms. She could no longer feel the souls of Reberta and Ignitos by the world anymore.
"GRRRAAAAAAA!!!" Karten roared in rage.
The bestial form swallowing him completely from the waist down and he leaps even further than ever before, entering a lush forest with half a hundred seals chasing right behind.
One of the magical seals of wind and light took off in speed and caught up to a tree Karten was standing sideways. Glowing and ejecting the tree into outer space a fraction of a second after Karten kicked off in a different direction.
A pair of seals closed in a pincer attack from the sides before the Precursor dragged his feet at the ground, sliding through the dirt in an arc and escaping right besides the coalition point of the magical seals.
Six more seals closed in from behind and the sides as six more box in from the front. Karten leaped off the ground and into the trees, bouncing with his monstrous speed over eight different places before leaping at the speed of sound over a gap in between the seals of magic trails.
From behind them another half a hundred seals had begun to join the hunt and sped up to circle around the half wolf half human.
"It's no use!! They'll catch us up at this rate!! Waaahhhh!! I'm too pretty to go out like this!!"
"They won't catch us, we're almost out of the range…" Karten assured as his body turned in the air and he leaped over the tree tops to escape a boxing plot from the magical seals of wind and light.
Kryla was shocked by what she'd hear, but with her beloved reassurance she was able to snap out of her panic just long enough to notice.
They where almost out from under the magical seal that'd formed over the sky.
The air that surrounds them drowned in slight magical energy and it was getting weaker the further they moved.
The possibility of making an escape wasn't lost yet.
Karten eyes darted from side to side as the magical seals broke over the three tops like flying saucers and followed after him and the girl he'd on his arms.
The proud lycanthrope then dived underneath the leaves followed by dozens upon dozens of seals from wind and light magic.
His dived going straight underwater as he broke into a river crossing into the lush forest.
Kryla held her breath momentarily and opened her eyes slightly to see what was happening around her.
It was dark underneath the water with small rays of light piercing in, and the river was barely twenty meters wide.
Kryla soon noticed she and Karten where floating inside a bubble as it cuts through the river currents. Moving twice the speed they had where going when Karten was fleeing on solid ground.
Karten had used his mastery over the water element and turned the river into a highway to escape their pursuers.
A seal of wind and light suddenly dived underwater and nearly traps them as Karten dives aside and picks speed.
Not much of a moment after more and more seals started diving down underneath the water, forcing Karten to pick up the speed and occasionally swing to the side to avoid collision when it finally happened.
Jet's of water formed as the wind and light seals caught fish on their wake, heading down river.
"We're out!!" The witch cried from inside the bubble.
They exited the range of the spell and the seals vanished behind them one by one.
Karten focused his power and forced the bubble to fly out, causing he and Kryla to shoot out the water four stories into the air.
The lycanthrope then begun spinning in the air to find a lightning glowing dragon serpent flying over the river they'd been in just a second ago.
The moment it's prey moved out of range, the Gale Tyrant shut off the magic spell and switched to lightning mode. Blitzing the entire distance to show up above Karten and Kryla, where it began readying it's next attack without pause.
Kryla face became pale at the realization. It was like all their effort from before simply amounted to them escaping one single attack from the Tyrant class monster.
She feared having bitten more than she could chew when she played a role in unleashed the monster upon the world, where her real self still lurks in.
Her trembling arms tightening their hold over Karten shoulders, wishing he'd save her from the flames like he used to.
A twenty meters in diameter golden sphere of lightning formed over the Gale Tyrant mouth, and was fired at Karten and the girl he was carrying on his arms.
"Wait— Kyaaaaahhhhh!!!" The witch cried as she was hastily and unceremoniously tossed into the air.
The toss sees her gaining altitude over the golden sphere of lightning as it narrowly avoids crashing into her and heads straight for her beloved.
After getting Rylak out of the way, Karten let his rage and dark powers erupt from his chest, swallowing him completely when the lightning ball strikes down.
The ball of lightning crashing on the forest nearby and digging up a trench as it travels faster than the thunder it leaves behind.
Out the flames of darkness came out a fully transformed werewolf digging his claws into an unstable sphere of lightning. The werewolf claws pumping darkness out like a broken dam as it swallows the lightning sphere to keep it from exploding. His clash with the lightning ball dragging him from one side of the forest to another, unable to escape with only that level of power.
"Graaaaahhhh!!!" Karten roared and digs his monstrous feet on the ground trying to brake the momentum of the attack.
His body erupted in flames and his purplish dark aura became blood red.
The power of a berserker.
His strength grew from three and a half times his base with only Reberta buff to reach now eight and a half times with berserker stacked on top.
Under his newfound monstrous strength, Karten manages to lift the giant sphere over his head and tossed into a backflip, launching the lightning ball backwards.
The golden sphere flew out into the skies before generating a mountain sized explosion and leaving behind a deafening boom.
The Gale Tyrant then roars and dives down, biting and snapping so viciously at the werewolf that the afterimages it leaves behind make it seem like he grew five heads.
Karten claws flared in dark energy and he swung at the Tyrant barrage with a feral frenzy of his own.
The battle between claw and fang raged like thousands of blades clashing with one another. The biting and slashing picking up to speeds the eye can't see as the shockwaves and the dark flames rippled over the tree tops.
The roaring monsters strike viciously tearing into the skin and bones as none cares who lands an attack so long as they get a piece of the other in return.
Karten dark powers erupt around his body and blink his wounds away, enraging the Gale Tyrant who then enters a frenzy of his own, turning his golden aura into blood red like a berserker.
The Gale Tyrant speed now far surpassing Karten, he lands a vicious bite that digs into the werewolf left arm and leg, before the dragon tosses to the side slamming the Precursor on the ground with a heavy quake.
The dragon monster then flies out into the air and lashes down with its tail, catching the werewolf on its wake and dragging him across the air and the trees before slamming him back down again.
The Gale Tyrant then finds itself dragged out the air through sheer force as Karten caught his body with monstrous strength and slams him down on the ground with a tremor.
Furious, the dragon mane begins coursing with electricity and he blitzes over the clouds completely out of range, forcing Karten to jump into the sky to chase after it.
The berzerking werewolf then finds the dragon Tyrant charging another sphere of golden lightning twenty meters in diameter, before it gets hurled his way.
Karten powers erupt when he prepares to deflect the attacks once again, but just as the giant sphere blocks his sight of the dragon, a blitz occurs and the Gale Tyrant curves around the sphere before slamming into Karten with a bodyslam of monstrous proportions.
"Grahh!!"
The blow knocks Karten off the air, and the two later crash into the ground with a heavy tremor that causes the werewolf to groan in agony.
The lycanthrope body cries in pain as the forty meters long serpent slither's over him, adjusting his weight to hold the Precursor trapped in place as a grin creeps in.
The golden lightning sphere continues it's decent and crashed over the Gale Tyrant and the werewolf pinned underneath his body. Turning into a mountain sized explosion of supercharged lightning.
"GRAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" The werewolf cried in pain.
The blast caused the ground underneath them to split apart and the shockwave blasted through the forest, setting the trees ablaze.
When the blinding light cleared out it showed a golden serpent licking its sharp rows of teeth, whereas underneath laid the body of a naked half man, half werewolf.
Lightning courses through Karten body and his skin became charred over two thirds of his body, his eyes seared, his monstrous form coming undone and not an ounce of strength left to channel his dark powers anymore.
His body could barely move.
With the figure of the Precursor becoming transparent, the Gale Tyrant roared over the blazing forest and then it began once again.
A lightning sphere of twenty meters diameter aimed at point blank for the struggling lycanthrope who remains pinned under the monster.
BRACKAA.
An electric current tingles over the left eye of the dragon Tyrant and one of his rotting wings blocked, just in time to defend against a pouncing blitz from a rabid rabbit girl.
"Your luck just ran out you bastard!!" Cried the Precursor of the Storm.
Her body completely healed and showing no sign of ever suffering a scratch in her life or bothering to wear clothes at all, she wields a broken chunk of her trusty Asterisk Alpha that survived the pearl of light and lightning.
A boom roars over the air as her collision punches into the Tyrant skull knocking him over the air, causing it to slide downward crushing the blazing forest as his vision shakes from the blow.
The naked heroine then bounces over a lightning seal and spins over the air before blitzing and punching against the dragon head one more time.
The Gale Tyrant roaring in agony and his vision shakes when two more blitzes boom and punch against his feather wall.
"Try to keep up if you can!!"
With a challenging declaration, the bunny heroine produced two dozen's seals of lightning around the draconian Tyrant and blasted into a furious blitz barrage.
She crashed into the head of the Tyrant from the mandible with a bounce before blitzing again and hitting from overhead, followed by another strike aimed at the eye hiding under the rotten wing, then dodged a wild snapping bite before punching at the throat of the dragon with a lightning blitz.
Her broken greatsword tearing and crushing at the feathers with the power of darkness she'd been imbued since the battle started.
The creature couldn't get a feel for where the next attack would come over. His berzerking aura flaring and hundreds of snapping giant maw's flying out as it tries to wildly overpower his adversary with the strength of his frenzy.
The expertly adept Precursor of the Storm reading his movement when impacting with the blitz, healing with the power of lightning from the grazes of the teeth's and dodging a snapping wild bite, beating incessantly at the head to target the brain, she rocks the dragon skull over and over keeping it from overcoming his confusion and dodging the biting barrage at the same time.
"Curse this monster!! Why won't you go down already!!" Esther cursed her luck.
Despite her incessant efforts to land a killing blow, her every attempt to tear inside the dragon Tyrant head always ends in her bouncing off the wings of rotting feathers.
Her damage lacking and her opening for going on the offensive slipping by the second. She narrowly dodged a killing bite when she tried trading her evasion for a chance to pierce her way into the skull with a power blitz.
Amidst its confusion and incessant pressure, the Gale Tyrant berserker aura dispelled and he gave up on the offensive, attempting to fly away, but suddenly found his body getting yanked off the air.
Karten in his half human form catches him by the tail before erupting in blood red aura and slamming the dragon Tyrant against the ground with a heavy tremor, wherein Esther jumped over its body and started tearing at the rotten wings once more.
"Keep up the pressure, Storm!! His life is almost ours!!"
"I know!! Haaahhhhhh!!"
The Gale Tyrant roared in agonizing rage and his mane started to glow white, before dispersing into a mass of silver particles when Esther punches through in a blitz.
"Damnit! It got away again… wait Karten are you alright!!?" The rabbit girl rushed over to help her friend.
The lycanthrope had fell to his knee, breathing haphazardly whilst lightning courses over his body.
"I'm fine… I got struck with paralysis and couldn't recover, but I'm better now…"
"That's great! Get up then, this isn't over yet… wait, now that I look around… I met Rylak before heading here but, where's Reberta…?" A frightened Esther ask.
Karten couldn't help turning away, avoiding looking her in the eye, his aura flaring in rage when he remembers what happened.
A pillar of lightning energy started coursing from Esther body. The glares of the two set upon the colossal serpent roaring in fury by the sky.
"He'll pay for this!! I'll teach this evil scoundrel the last lesson he'll ever learn!!" Esther declares, holding back a tear for her dear friend.
The Gale Tyrant coiled in the air with its broken wings and brittle feathers, before his mane started glowing emerald again and a large vortex started forming around his body, turning into a tornado of monstrous proportions.
The black cloud tornado uprooting the forest as it begins dragging everything around it into a debris cloud.
Esther channels her power into a blitz and shoots straight towards the tornado, with Karten following right behind as he climbs atop a tree trunk that got uprooted by the vortex of the storm.
The electric rabbit sword crashed into a wall of funneling black clouds that stopped her blitz on her tracks.
Over the wall of the tornado snapped the maw of the dragon Tyrant, forcing Esther to kick into an evasive blitz just in time to avoid getting mauled to death.
The maws then sink back inside the funneling black cloud.
The rabbit Precursor soon took to blitzing around the tornado, finding no entry point before pouncing against the dark funneling cloud.
"Agh!!" Esther cried.
Her charge bouncing off the funneling cloud with the wind tearing into her skin and drawing blood.
Her power despite being hailed as a Precursor, still remains immensely weaker than that of the Gale Tyrant.
Esther understood in just those two hits that she lacked the firepower to break inside the wind wall generated by the funneling dark cloud of the tornado.
The lightning heroine blitzed towards the sky even higher, attempting to enter the funneling black cloud from the top of the spiral updraft, only to find it closed by the cumulonimbus cloud.
"Damn it! This bastard is starting to fight defensively now!" The frustrated rabbit girl cursed before blitzing back down, closer to the earth.
Inside the funneling dark cloud a large serpent like silhouetted started glowing in silver and a cone of light beams out.
Esther narrowly escaping with her life as she switched into her dark form and shielded herself inside a barrier when the silver glow began.
The light cone engulfing the ball lightning barrier in its entirety and beaming as the Gale Tyrant sticks his head out the funneling cloud.
Blasting still a beam of light, the dragon reaches out to bite down on the busy rabbit while he has her trapped in their clash.
Esther heart sunk as the giant maws reaches her while she was stuck blocking the beam of light, and they chomped down at her barrier, tearing cracks on all sides.
BOOM.
An explosion of dark flames roared over the tornado. Searing at the wings of the dragon Tyrant who cried in agony before it sunk back inside the funneling dark cloud.
Esther found Karten standing atop a floating tree trunk swirling around the tornado.
"Don't lose your cool, Storm. Together, we'll draw him out and strike when it's vulnerable!"
"Right!"
Their power wasn't enough to pierce inside the funneling cloud, and so they would switch into a counterattack plan.
That much Esther though, but then her friend the Precursor of the Shadows gathered his power and condensed a giant mass of energy into his claws, before firing a volley of dark fireballs in all directions.
Esther found herself confused at the action before she saw the fireballs turning around the spiral updraft and coming from behind and all sides.
"Eek!! W-what do you think you're doing!? Are you trying to get me cooked or something!!?" Esther voices her complaints.
As if looking out for the Gale Tyrant attacks wasn't bad enough, the dark flames forced her to bend her naked body into all sort of weird ways and strike poses unbecoming of an heroine just to avoid getting cooked alive.
She started to wonder if her friend was still mad that she had to justifiably kick his ass before and was looking to get some revenge.
Suddenly the funneling dark cloud shone silver light and a beam blasted towards the proud lycanthrope whom focused on covering the swirling tornado with as much dark fireballs as possible.
Esther Electromagnetic Shield triggered and forced her to blitz and defend her ally.
Her barrier triggering and shielding the both inside as a cone of light swallowed them inside the barrier.
Esther gritted her teeth as the dragon Tyrant snapped out of the funneling black cloud, only this time Karten couldn't do anything to help because he would have to blast them from inside the barrier.
The fireballs swirling around the tornado impacted on the face of the Gale Tyrant, causing it to roar in pain before forcing it to cut the beam of light short.
Karten then swiped with a claw of dark flames that fired five slashes of dark power. Blowing in the face of the colossal monster and knocking him back inside the funneling dark clouds.
Inside the tower of black winds, trashing and furious roaring could be hear coming out.
Esther eyes widened in surprise when she suddenly understood what was going on.
Karten had turned the outer shell of the tornado into a hellish rain of dark fireballs, because he knew as soon as the Tyrant stuck his head out he would be struck.
"Karten you're a genius!!" She shouts with delight, holding Karten by the shoulder and hopping in place over the tree trunk.
If the monster wanted to fight cowardly like that, they would use underhanded tricks too.
All they had to do now was defend from the long ranged attacks and when they monster came out, they would be ready for him. If it wants to cheat by playing defensively then they too can do the same!
Her admiration for her fellow Precursor grew as she shook him by the shoulders with joy.
Then one of the loose fireballs flying about struck her bare butt.
FWOOSH.
"Eh…?!" The stiffy bunny turned around slowly.
She found a lively dark fire dancing on her tail, before feeling the blood drain from her face completely.
"I TAKE IT BACK!!! Karten you're an idiot!!! KYA!!! I knew this was a bad idea!!!" Her true feelings showed up.
The rabbit girl started hopping and jumping in place over the floating tree trunk, clapping frenetically at her ass to try and put out the dark fires as she wonders what nonsense her friend had going through his head when he thought of this stupid plan.
Karten raised an eyebrow at the scene before him and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Storm, calm down." He said to her.
The rabbit Precursor looked at Karten with insult and found his head lit on dark fire when one of the fireballs struck him too.
The dark flames raging from Karten neck and up, before dissipating to leave him shining with glossy skin.
"Dark magic won't harm you when I'm around."
"Oh…" Esther suddenly stopped moving.
She looked behind her back to find the flames on her butt vanishing with a pssssst sound, leaving her caramel skin intact and now glossy.
Just now realizing she wasn't feeling pain in the slightest.
Of course her friend wouldn't do something as stupid as launching an attack that could harm his allies too.
Karten ain't stupid of course… neither is she of course! She thought.
It's not like she needed the healing when she's got dominion over her own element too, but is also not like it would hurt her like she thought.
Suddenly a large scaly tail lashed out from within the tornado.
"Look out!!" Esther cried out.
The two Precursors jumping from the tree trunk before it was crushed into tiny pieces.
Suddenly out the tornado shot out viridescent feathers of wind magic in all directions.
The attack homing on the dark fireballs and the two Precursors.
Explosions started roaring around the tornado one by one as Karten and Esther bounced over the debris's of the forest that got dragged along with the winds.
Esther channeled the power of her dark form and deflected the feathers with her greatsword, causing them to explode into wind blast that beat against her barrier.
Karten found himself cornered on all sides and adopted a stance in preparation to deflect the attacks, but Esther blitzed by the effect of her Electromagnetic Shield and defended him from the magical attacks.
Out the funneling black clouds suddenly sticks out a gaping maw aiming to snap down on the two heroes.
Karten fired a dark fireball at it while Esther was busy blocking the feather attacks.
There was a roaring explosion of darkness and the Gale Tyrant started retreating inside the tornado.
It was as it did so that Esther noticed a gap left behind in the funneling clouds.
"An opening!!" She shouts before blitzing.
The deafening roar of thunder was heard and the bunny Precursors sneaks inside the funneling dark cloud before it closes.
Therein she finds a gaping maw chomping down—
"YIKES!! Kaya!! That wasn't an opening— it was a trap!! You dirty snake!!" The rabbit cried foul.
The gap in the funneling winds closed in an instant and Esther was left trapped inside with the Gale Tyrant.
Whom upon snaring the bunny on his trap, began glowing blood red under the sunlight piercing down from the sky.
Esther found herself before a looming row of sharp teeth's.
"Eekyikes!! You could turn berserker too!!? You cheating snake how much power do you— KYAAAHHH!!!" Esther wails.
The mane of the Gale Tyrant switched to gold and inside the sky high tornado lightning began to strike when a chase broke out.
The fearful rabbit running for dear life, flickering in and out of the blitz when out of a larger lightning comes out the draconic Tyrant.
Sometimes Esther would find herself wrapped in a forked tongue that drags her inside the mouth of the dragon, other times she'd be sliding down the throat of the creature likes she's playing with a water slide, other times she would flicker out of the blitz bending her body forward as the snapping maws pinches her butt, other times she'd show up caught prying open a sharp row of teeth with her arms and legs but standing upside down, other times she'd be crying as she jumps over a lashing tail sweep that misses her by a hair breadth, other times she'd show up grasping her butt when a sharp large fang slides halfway up her ass.
"SOMEBODY HELP ME!!! EEEKKK!!!" She cried to the four winds as she blitzes for dear life.
It was during this moment that she started to notice something strange was happening around her.
She'd once blitzed to the top of the tornado looking for entry but only found a cumulonimbus cloud blocking the way, yet now she found herself batted in sunlight.
Her gaze wandered above for a second of her fleeing, and tears formed in her eyes.
A shooting red star had pierced the clouds.
Suddenly a ceiling of dark magic formed above the heroine and the dragon, blocking the sight of the red shooting star, and from the seal of magic started falling gingerbread men.
"Esther!! Hold on, the help is coming!!" The voice of Rylak could be heard coming from outside the tornado.
The rabbit arching her body forwards to avoid a bite when the Gale Tyrant felt something latching onto his wings.
A dark explosion of sugar and cream boomed from the back of the Tyrant, followed by dozens more.
"Rylak you did it!! You really managed to bake this much cookies in time!!" Esther shouts with delight before switching to her white form.
A blitz punched through the right horn of the Gale Tyrant, followed by over two dozen seals of lightning forming around his body.
The dragon raged and trashed in the air with all its might, biting, lashing, firing lightning and blocking with his wings.
His efforts pale before the relentless blitz of the rabbit and the self-destructive coalition of the gingerbread men falling from the air.
The dragon focus slipped and the funneling dark clouds cleared a path to the outside, revealing a cheering witch sitting on a cauldron with a fully transformed, blood red werewolf standing by her side.
Karten claws flared in dark flames and his body became a blur of dark slashes.
The Gale Tyrant felt himself overwhelmed and unable to escape, forcing him to coil into a ring and begin glowing in silver light.
"It's trying to escape, don't let out the pressure!!" Esther shouted.
The unrelenting attack from the three combined and dark sparks began flaring over the body of the creature, holding back his light powers.
The Gale Tyrant roared and his power erupted into a blinding light, fighting back the darkness that binds him.
"HAAAHHHHH!!!"
"GRAAAAAAHHH!!!"
"Go! Go! Karten dearest's go!!"
The implacable triple barrage rips and tears against the wing wall.
The creepy cookie monsters explode with a grin on their face as their mother cheers.
The berzerker werewolf claws his way through rip and tear.
The white bunny slashes and blitzes without rest or fear.
The Gale Tyrant body deforms into a million motes of light to teleport away.
A booming whistle occurs, and the piercing Crimson Dive tears a hole clean through the dragon monster head, causing the light to vanish from his retina.
Karten and Kryla gasp in surprise, meanwhile Esther flashed a cheeky smile.
"Took you long enough… Reberta."
The Crimson Dive impacted on the ground with a roaring crash.
The motes of light reformed into the sky tenth kilometers by the horizon. Wherein the lifeless body of a large creature could be seen plummeting towards the earth.
An ear splitting explosion booms from the horizon where the serpent had fallen, and from the crater of the shooting red star landed a girl, a girl that could be seen laying on one knee.
A girl of silver hair and red eyes. A broken wing with a severed tail and a bloodied arm. She sports a crimson red chainmail and an elated smile flashing from her face as her spear crumbles to pieces by her hand.
The Gale Tyrant has been felled.

Fanfic is not over yet, as you can see up there, there's the small segment of the epilogue still left where the characters get their happy ending.
There's also the analysis of how I wrote the battle and how it's actually turn based even though it doesn't looks it, I promised to leave that explanation in one of these notes…
No seriously, this is a turn based battle, I'll even give you the turn chart next week so you can see the actions of the characters and the dragon.
And there are also parts of the battle that happen offscreen and get explained in the epilogue.
But I ran out of time so have this in the meantime. Thought I will make a warning here, because I had to rush too much, I might change some pieces of the final battle next week when I come back to finish the story.
So if you like it, save it because it could be different next week.
