"There's no way you're gonna stop us from getting to the Heart of the Forest." Kelsey says as she pulls her sword out before the drones shoot candy at her feet.

"I wouldn't try that if I was you. I've programmed these babies to blast candy at anything that moves. So unless you want some bubblegum to pop you I'd stay put." Xavier says.

"Everyone! Behind me! I'll use my appetite as a shield." JP says.

"Xavier why are you doing this? I thought we were friends. We read comics together. We high fived! Didn't that mean anything!?" Craig asks.

"Craig's right. We trusted you. Or at least he and I did anyway. Don't you wanna change?" Alexis asks as she snarls at Xavier as she shifts to wolf form.

"I tried being a friend! For one whole afternoon. For three whole hours! But none of y'all wanted to give me a chance." Xavier says as he looks down.

"Because we knew you were gonna try something like this!" Kelsey shouts angrily.

"But I wasn't! But because you all thought I was gonna betray you it made me want to betray you and now here we are!" Xavier shouts angrily.

"You know what? You're right. What they did was disgraceful." Craig says.

"Hey!" JP, Kelsey, Omar and Maya shout offendedly.

"But you said it yourself. Being King didn't make you happy. Forcing people to hang out with you isn't real friendship." Craig says.

"Oh really? Says the kid who wants to do exactly that." Xavier says.

"What are you talking about Xavier? Craig would never do something like that." Alexis says.

"Craig told me a secret everyone! He wants to ask the Heart of the Forest to make you all be friends with him and only him. Forever!" Xavier says.

"What?" JP asks in shock as the group looks at Craig.

"That can't be. You'd never do that." Alexis says in disbelief.

"Is that true?" Kelsey asks.

"Craig?" Omar asks as he and Maya look at Craig.

"No! I mean sort of." Craig says as Xavier laughs.

"You all have plenty of time to hash this out. But I've got to get going. I'm gonna become King of the Creek again. Drones! Lock this place down. Nobody gets in." Xavier says as drones shine a red light on the group before a drone shines the same light on him as he tries to leave.

"Nobody gets in." The drone says.

"What's wrong with this thing? I'm the exception!" Xavier shouts as he backs over to the group.

"No exception." The drone says as it spits a candy at Xavier's control watch breaking it.

"Run." Xavier says before the group begins running to get away from the drones before they come to a stop in a large room with a giant tree.

"What is this place?" Maya asks.

"It's kinda beautiful." Alexis says as she looks around.

"Looks like some sort of factory." Craig says.

"Look! Down there." Kelsey says as she climbs onto the rail as the group sees a hole near the tree.

"Could that be..." Craig says before the group hears beating on the door as the drones break through.

"Run!" Alexis shouts as the group splits up with Alexis, Xavier, Omar and Maya running in a different direction from Craig, Kelsey and JP.

"Not this way! It's just a big hole!" Xavier shouts as he jumps down a giant pipe.

"Make way!" Omar shouts as he, Alexis and Maya jump into the pipe sending them and Xavier tumbling down the pipe.

*Timeskip*

"Trust him they said. Xavier's changed they said." Omar says as the group lands on the ground harshly in a room before standing up.

"To be fair I'm beginning to regret that decision and after this it won't be made twice." Alexis says annoyedly as she looks at Xavier.

"Hey don't hate the player. Hate the game." Xavier says.

"Pfft. Some player. Your own toys turned on you. And you got us stuck in... Where are we?" Omar asks.

"Don't look at me. I jumped down the same pipe as the rest of you." Alexis says.

"I think we're in the old Hynes Soda factory. You know that soda from back in the day? It's all abandoned now." Maya says.

"Ew. Looks like the lemon lime has gone bad." Xavier says as he looks at an old bottle.

"Just like your coding skills." Omar says.

"Excuse me?" Xavier says as he and Omar argue while Alexis and Maya walk over to the pile they came tumbling out of.

"Any chance of us getting back out the way we came?" Alexis asks as she shifts to human form.

"Not unless we can make our hands stick to the surface of that pipe. And I'm not about to try anything with this soda. Who knows what it might do with it being this old." Maya says as Alexis growls annoyedly hearing Omar and Xavier arguing.

"No argument there. Guys can you knock it off? This isn't the time. We need to find a way out. We certainly can't get back the way we came." Alexis says as she looks at Xavier and Omar.

"Wait. Isn't that an elevator? Let's go!" Omar shouts as the group sees an elevator and begins running toward it.

"Oh come on!" Alexis says as the drones find them.

"Thanks a lot." Omar says as he glares at Xavier before the drones shoot candy at the group causing them to retreat and hide behind some crates.

"These things are so annoying." Maya says as Alexis hides with her behind some crates.

"We gotta get past them. There's no other way." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form growling.

"Well then it's a good thing I'm in a fighting mood." Omar says before he jumps out of his hiding place and begins shooting arrows at the drones.

"Just to be clear this isn't on me!" Xavier shouts as he comes out and begins shooting areas at some drones as the group begins trying to make their way to the elevator while using crates for cover.

"Really? It sure seems like it!" Maya shouts as she and Alexis take out some drones.

"Please tell me that is all of them." Alexis says as she and the others are panting.

"For now." Omar says before the group glares at Xavier.

"Look I get y'all are mad but out yourself in my shoes. I had no friends, nobody had my back and when I finally get brave enough to change nobody gave me a chance! What else was there could I do?" Xavier asks.

"Literally anything other than this!" Omar shouts before the group hears a loud crash in the wall and sees Xavier's car.

"Really?" Alexis asks angrily.

"Your r.c. cars are after us too!?" Omar ask angrily as he looks at Xavier.

"What? I have all my devices synced. Doesn't everybody?" Xavier asks before the car begins speeding toward the group before Xavier shoots a bubblegum arrow at the car making it stick to the floor.

"Batter up!" Maya shouts before she swings at the car with her bat breaking it's shovel off.

"This isn't how this was supposed to go!" Xavier shouts frustratedly.

"Oh I'm sorry. Your little betrayal didn't work out the way you planned?" Omar asks as he angrily looks at Xavier.

"I planned to be a friend. I planned to make things right. But I-" Xavier then gets cut off by Omar.

"Forgot you were a maniac!?" Omar shouts angrily.

"Knock it off both of you! This isn't solving anything." Alexis says angrily as she glares at Omar and Xavier.

"Alexis is right. We've heard enough. Omar let it go already. He gets it. He messed up. We've all messed up. And Xavier. You have a lot to learn about friendship my dude. You spent one afternoon with us. Joking around and offering us candy and you expected us to see you as a trustworthy friend? Just like that? No way. But look at it this way. If you were patient enough and strong enough to learn that cool backflip then you're strong enough to earn back everybody's trust. I mean heck you got Alexis and Craig to give you a chance when the rest of us wouldn't. But like them all we want is to see you try. Like actually try and mean it." Maya says before the group hears the elevator open and sees Xavier's other car.

"Not you too Delilah." Xavier says.

"You named your car Delilah?" Alexis asks as she looks at Xavier.

"Hey she's one of my babies. Don't judge." Xavier says as Alexis smiles softly at him and shakes her head.

"I'm all out of arrows." Omar says as he reaches for some arrows and finds he is out.

"Me too." Xavier says before Alexis steps forward growling.

"That thing is too quick without something to combat it. I can keep up with it just barely in my wolf form. I'll distract it while the rest of you get to the elevator then I'll rejoin you from there." Alexis says as she growls at the car.

"No. I'm not letting you do that. You're my sister. No way. Mom would kill me if you got hurt." Omar says as he looks at Alexis.

"Got any better ideas?" Alexis asks as she looks at Omar.

"Not really." Omar says.

"Then get moving." Alexis says as she begins trying to distract the car by jumping around and dodging it as it tries to attack her while the others begin running for the elevator.

"Alexis come on!" Maya shouts as Alexis begins running for the elevator before the car rams into Alexis causing her to hit a crate and cut her ankle on a broken bottle.

"Ah! My ankle! I got cut by a broken bottle! I can't put weight on my ankle to run! Go without me! I'll find another way!" Alexis shouts as she tries to run on the injured leg but is unable to.

"I'm not leaving you!" Omar says determinedly.

"If you don't you'll get stuck here with me! Xavier what are you doing?" Alexis asks as she sees Xavier jump in front of her.

"Try. And meaning it." Xavier says as he looks at his car.

"What!?" Omar asks in surprise.

"Xavier, Alexis no!" Maya shouts as she and Omar get shut in the elevator.

"Alexis get behind a crate. This is gonna get messy." Xavier says as Alexis stands while holding up her injured leg.

"What about you? You're not seriously gonna fight that thing alone." Alexis says worriedly.

"Yes I am. I brought it into this world now watch me take it out!" Xavier says as Alexis reluctantly gets behind a crate and watches as he begins fighting with his car.

*Timeskip*

"Hold up. You're talking about Xavier? My little brother?" Kenneth asks as Alexis and Xavier find him and the others.

"Don't sound so surprised." Xavier says as he is helping Alexis walk in human form.

"Xavier! Alexis!" Omar says happily as he and Maya see Alexis and Xavier.

"We're glad you're both alright." Maya says.

"Oh well uh... But of course I'm okay! You think I couldn't handle a couple of baby toys!? You forgot who I am?" Xavier asks as the group looks at him.

"Alright. There's the Xavier we know." Maya says.

"But seriously you guys should have seen him. It was pretty cool." Alexis says as she smiles softly at Xavier causing him to blush.

"Thanks for helping my sister man. I thought you were done for. But you got skills." Omar says as he smiles at Xavier.

"Yeah. You too." Xavier says as he fist bumps Omar.

"I'm so happy you're all okay and I'm so sorry." Craig says sadly.

"Yeah me too." Kelsey says.

"I'm sorry too. I don't like yelling at you guys. I was just getting loud because everyone else was getting loud." JP says.

"It's okay. I got so wrapped up in worrying about what I might lose I forgot what I had. You guys. We've had the best adventures any kids could have. You guys are my best friends. You too Mortimor." Craig says as Mortimor chirps at him.

"You know the bonds we share those moments will always bond us. And it's those moments that we share that will always bring us back together. So don't worry about the future. Have those adventures now. Because those will never disappear." Kenneth says.

"Yeah. What he said. But also don't be going into anymore abandoned factories okay?" Bernard asks as he looks at Craig.

"Mmm. No." Craig says as he smiles.

"Ooh! I'm feeling for a group hug! Come on everyone! The grumpier your faces the more you need a squeeze! Let's go!" JP shouts as he hugs Craig and Kelsey.

"Come on!" Omar shouts as he pulls Maya over into the hug.

"A group hug?" Xavier asks as he rolls his eyes.

"Yes and that means you too. Come on." Alexis says as she pulls Xavier with her over into the hug.

"There. We did it. Can we stop?" Xavier asks as the group tries to step away from each other only to find they're stuck together.

"Yeah. I don't think we can stop." Craig says.

"Hey Kenneth. You got enough room in your car to drive us all home right?" Xavier asks.

"Not with y'all all stuck together." Kenneth says.

"What!? But how are we supposed to find our way back?" Xavier asks worriedly.

"No worries. I got my trusty map... Uh-oh." Craig says.
