Carlos and Mariah were partners in their home ec class, and their final assignment was to make a sponge cake. As Mariah watched the cake baking in the oven, Carlos accidentally bumped into the oven while practicing his dance moves, causing the sponge cake to deflate and Mr. Ping to give Mariah a failing grade. Angered over getting her first "F", Mariah decided to get revenge on him. She took Carlos' hockey jersey, found one of his hockey helmets and used a recording of his voice. Now passing herself off as Carlos, she proceeded to ruin his name by destroying her own art project and spreading the incriminating evidence all over the floor. She got the corndog aroma from cooking them in home ec room and using a fan to spread the smell after bringing the food in here

Later that night at the hockey game the whole school is there to cheer on the guys. Including Mariah who has been punished by her parents with extra chores at home and no electronics for the weekend but is allowed to be a spectator cuz she feels like she owes that Carlos for all the trouble she caused him*

Its down to the final minutes. Kendal has the puck and slides it to Logan*
