Part 2 of Geoff and Lindsays collection.

Geoff ran a sweaty hand through his shoulder length hair. He jumped into follow his Wife who was soaking from her water breaking and also terrified as there was alot of blood gushing out.

"Ahhhhh" ,"Im so scared" Lindsay cried.

Geoff was sitting in the ambulance with his Wife of two years, sweating, crying and cramping in so much pain she felt like her insides were going to explode.

Feeling helpless Geoff wiped his sweaty brow and promised his sweetheart she would be alright. Lindsays water had abruptly broken four weeks early at 36 weeks and up until then, The tall blonde had been really enjoying her pregnancy.

Geoff took plenty of pictures of her and her best friend Bridgette who was trying to get pregnant aswell with Husband Tyler.

They often ran each morning and Lindsay was surprisingly fit, but it did not come as a shock to those who knew the blonde highschool cheerleader and dancer.

Bridgette and Lindsay both enjoyed water sports, running and walking, well Lindsay enjoyed the long walks with her skimpy Bikinis. Geoff loved taking pictures of the two most beautiful best friends ever and Tyler absolutely adored them aswell. Lindsay and Tyler haf always been friends as had her and Geoff. The weddings the friendships and seemingky healthy smooth pregnancy was coming to an abrupt end.

"Lindsay baby" Geoff held his wifes hand, the other was connected to pain releif.

"Youre almost there, we are going to be parents really soon", "Im not going anywhere gorgeous girl" He kissed her free hand gently.

The pethidine was kicking in. Lindsay was feeling calmer but very confused and her breathing was becoming shallow.

The paramedics informed the 24 yr old Blonde Couple that theyd need to put an oxygen mask on Mrs Alogone. Lindsays eyes started to flutter as the mask was placed on. When they arrived at the

TD General hospital

Geoff ran alongside his incoherent wife. She was wearing a dsrk red strapless dress. They had to change her into a hospital gown and keep her on oxygen aswell as take blood samples and inject an anaesthetic into her bloodstrean to handle the likekyhood of a full anasthetic as it was looking more likely Lindsay would need to be fully under while the baby was removed and safely born.

An Obgyn came in and checked Lindsays Bloodwork, looked over her blood pressure, chart with her gestation which was 36.2 weeks and her weight, last time she ate, blood type and heart rate. A heart monitor had been placed on the top of her stomach. The baby was not breathing very fast and Lindsay wad losing consciousness.

Geoff was a wreck.

Just then... Bridgette and Tyler arrived. they were waiting outside the theatre behind the glass next to Lindsays Mother and Geoffs Father.

The Families gad been contacted and Lindsays Father was frantically searching for flights back to Alberta from his business trip in Toronto.

"Shes was very anxious which is too be expected", "its her first baby" The nurse informed A concerned Geoff. "The Baby isn't breathing so well so we have your consent for an emergency Caserean dont we?"

The OBGYN had already noted Lindsays signature beforehand a few weeks ago should anything happen, she gave Geoff and the Hospital full consent to intervene.

"Yes, sure just make sure my Wife and son are alright" he said quickly, latching onto his wife's hand.

He kissed her on the forehead and told Lindsay how much he loved her before she was wheeled away.

He was helpless but able to observe from the glass behind the surgery.

Tyler and Bridgette rallied round him

"If she was awake I'd be in there with her" he said pressing his hands on the glass.

"We know you would" Bridgette warmly smiled. Tyler wrapped his arms around Bridgette and told Geoff Lindsay was always a strong girl and a positive one.

"Its true" Her Mother said. "Our daughter will be awake soon and you'll be holding your baby boy"...He noticed hid Mother in law was holding back tear

Geoff Hugged Mrs Top. "You know how much I love her and I cant bare that shes alone in there"..

Mrs Top clutched her son in law tightly.

"I know you do sweetheart, she does too". "Procedures like this Happen all the time "

Just then a soft cry was heard. Geoffs baby boy had been lifted out after cutting into six layers of skin to get him. There was a gush of amniotic fluid, the placentawas removed and Bridgette watched the entire thing clutching her stomach with a smile on her face.

"Aww you did it Linds" she wept.

Tyler held his wife close. "Yeah she did"

Geoff Hugged his Father who congratulated him and then Mrs Top. "Our first Grandson" she wept"

Geoff was itching to go in.

Finally after what felt like hours he went into greet his baby boy. The surgeon had to cut the umbilical cord but he was able hold the little boy four weeks earky but a solid 7lbs 8oz in his arms. "Hey buddy, Im your Daddy, welcome" he kissed his little son on the forehead and looked over at gis Wife.

"We are going to wheel her into the maternity recovery ward" The midwife and nurses had informed the new father.

"She wil wake up soon" , "we have her on two different drips" "shell need to be in hospital for five days at least". "That gives the baby time to latch onto his Mama and youre welcome to spend the night"

Geoff agreed.

He heard what was being said but the overwhelming feeling of Euphoria holding his new son had engulfed him. He knew his beautiful wife would be alright. He vowed to spend the entire five days and nights with her so when she came to in the early morning hours Lindsay' was relieved, confused but suddenly met with an overwhelming sensation of wonderment herself.

"Someone wants to meet you Mommy"

Geoff smiled.

Bridgette was sitting next to Lindsay and her and Tyler had purchased flowers, two teddy bears and a large Balloon.

Geoff had made some amazing baby toys at home but he also designed a beautiful mini wooden heart for Lindsay. The words Leo were inscribed.

Lindsays eyes were wet with happy tears.

Her Mother hugged her very gently and congratulated her. Her Father surprised her with a large balloon, and card with a chart that had already scheduled for a fully equipped nanny to start immediately.

Lindsay was overcome.

Even Courtney showed up with Duncan. The next day.

Lindsay was wearing a pink bathrobe. Settling in to her happy new role as a Mommy, watching her beautiful boy while Geoff explained all that had happened.

Bridgette was brushing Lindsays hair and talking about her upcoming birth.

"youll be great Bridge" Lindsay smiled. Cooing and gentky kissing Leo.

"Well all is fine at the moment but things change". Bridget sighed.

Lindsay held her best friend's hand.

"No, youll be great" she informed her.

Tyler smiled at Lindsay and

Two days later

Lindsay had started feeding little Leo and was enjoyng the bond she had with him.

"Isnt this supposed to be hard?" she questioned. Leo suckled on his Mothers large teats. He was looking up at his Mother with big bright blue eyes. She looked back at him lovingly. "Aww what a champ" she cooed.

Geoff kissed her forehead gently

"You're a natural sweetie", "you got this".

Lindsay nodded in agreement and blew her Husband a kiss. He smiled back. The room was peaceful for the moment that morning.

Geoff then noticed two familiar voices arguing outside the private room.

"We can't just go in there Court"

"Uh why?""You dont think Geoff and Lindsay Lindsay will recognise us?"

Duncan sighed. "Obviously they will but Geoff said it was quite traumatic"

Duncan was interrupted by Courtney who insisted Lindsay would need help then.

"She's still a Mom now, she'll need help"

"Yeah...but you haven't seen them since.."

Just then Geoff came out of the room.

Courtney was standing in her pant suit. She was holding a card and teddy bear.

Duncan high fived Geoff.

"Long time no see guys" "uh you're welcome to come in".

Courtney looked at Duncan then at Geoff and they both entered the nicely decorated ward together.

"Lindsay?" Courtney slowly approached the nursing Mommy.

She looked up. "Courtney?" ..."Duncan?"

Lindsay was a little shocked.

Geoff clasped his wifes hand and assured her they wanted to be here.

"Congratulations" Duncan said uneasily. "Uh you um look happy" he observed the pretty blonde holding her three day old baby.

Lindsay smiled, still groggy from the pain releif.

"Thank you I am" ..she then looked at Geoff.

"I got their names right didnt I?"

Geoff stroked his wifes hair and pecked her on the cheek.

"You did sweetie".

Lindsay sighed in releif.

Courtney smiled and placed a little blue bear by the babys cot.

She pulled up a chair and sat beside Lindsays bedside.

Geoff held baby Leo and showed him to Duncan. Lindsay watched their friendly interaction.

Courtney gently rubbed Lindsay on the knee.

"So?" "Are you okay Mama?" she asked.

Lindsay nodded. "Yes but I dont think I was" she held her finger to her lip. "The ambulance came and now Im here with Baby Leo" she said in a bit of a daze.

Court held her hand. "Oh honey I'm sorry, that must have been scary for you".

Despite their differences Courtney had sympathy for the new Mother being thrust into surgery after falling unconcious during labour.

"Do you mean it?" she asked.

Courtney nodded her head. "Offcourse" "Giving birth is such a huge great scary but amazing thing"... she smiled warmly at the sweet blonde and looked over at Geoff proudly showing his Son to an enthusiastic Duncan.

"Well you have Bridgette and Tyler but..." Courtney bit her lip. "If you need a break or just want to you know .."

"YES" Lindsay answered. "Id love to"

The brunette smiled and laughed.

"Oh ... great, better than great that's awesome" she then had a brain wave.

"Why dont you and your Boys ."

she looked at Geoff and baby Leo.

"Come over when you're out of Hospital and Ill cook you a meal, dont bring anything"

she then leaned in and whispered "Duncans a really good sous chef, so you will enjoy what we have planned I promise"..

Duncan looked over and gave a thumbs up.

Lindsay beamed happily.

"Sounds delicious", She happily agreed.

With a big hug and series of well wishes, Courtney and Duncan left. Geoff and Lindsay's Parents had arranged for a nanny to help her when she left the hospital.

"You do know she could have bled to death?" Courtney whispered on the way out.

Duncan slid his hahd around his Wifes waist.

"Yeah thats brutal", "shes like not even phased by it" "maybe shes more brave than we give her credit for."

Coirtney pressed a finger into her husband's chest. "Uh then YOU give her credit for" sge retorted.

Duncan rolled his eyes. "Really?"

"I told you and I keep telling you honey, Women are feirce" ..."you could never " she smirked.

Duncan started tickling her and she pulled him in close to her chest.

"Is that so?" he grinned...

Bridgette later gave birth to a little girl Taylor Raine.

Lindsay lay in bed with Geoff and their one month old Son resting happily in his crib beside them.

"I love you Daddy Geoff" she whispered, closing her eyes. Geiff cuddled his sweet wife tightly in her pink camisole.

"I love you Most Momma Lindsay"...
