The newly renamed Berry apparated to the Burrow to tell his pseudo adoptive family all that he had learned.

The redheads plus Hermione were in the sitting room listening to the wireless. Ginny looked up at the sudden entrance and drew everyone else's attention.

"Hey Harry, what did Gringott's want?"

He scratched his head.

"Well, turns out my parents and Sirius had wills listed at the bank. And it turns out my name's not even Harry. It's Berry like the fruit."

The family blinked at him.

Ron spoke up, "Well that's not too odd. I mean your mom's family must have had a tradition."

"That's not all. I have to graduate from Hogwarts and get married. To Pansy Parkinson."

Hermione sucked her teeth.

"Really? After she voted to give you up? And I mean…"

"It's a contract Hermione. I looked it over myself. If I don't marry her, my family loses our Wizengamot seat."

"Who cares about that, Harry? I mean…Berry." said Ron.

"I care Ron! Its's my family's history and a chance to make a difference so we're not back here in a few years fighting another war!"

Mrs. Weasley straightened up from her perch on the couch. "Harry…Berry, I think the first thing you should do is reach out to this young lady and her family. FInd out what they expect from you. And why nobody's talked to you about this before?"

Berry looked at her and smiled gently. She was going through so much with the loss of her son and she still managed to treat him like another son.

Ginny on the other hand had grown quiet and silently made her way outside.

Berry noticed and followed her as soon as he could.

He caught up to her as they neared the pond. "Gin, what's going through your head?"

"Harry! Berry…whoever you are now! I just can't believe we were just getting back to semi-normal and now you've gotta get married. To a hag like Parkinson no less."

"Maybe she has hidden depths?" He asked semi joking.

"Pfft. I'm sorry Harry…Berry. I just…I thought we'd have time to get to know each other again and maybe try dating again. Now I've lost the opportunity before we even had a chance."

He rubbed a hand over her back.

"I know it's not fair, but when has anything like fairness mattered in my world?" He cracked a smile. "But yeah the name thing is throwing me. I never really liked Harry. My cousin used to joke that it was a sign I'd be Hairy like a dog and that's all people would know about me. But I'm not sure I'm a Berry either. Did you know my middle name's not even James? It's Jessamine. Its a flower."

"Hmm…maybe go by Jesse?"

He furrowed his brows and thought. "Maybe. Gotta be better than Berry Potter."

They both broke into giggles.

The newly dubbed Jesse sighed. "I guess now I gotta do what your mom suggested. Write a letter."
