Elijah Mill's day started like any other day in Storybrooke for the last twenty-eight years, with is feet hitting the cement streets at a steady pace, jogging past the same people he's jogged past for the last two decades. As he focused on his goal to make it home in time for breakfast, the local Principle ran past Dr. Archibald Hopper or Archie the local psychiatrist with his dalmatian Pongo on a lead and an umbrella in the other hand as Sheriff Graham drove past in his patrol car.

Crossing the street, the youngest Mill's sibling ran past an older man in a suit and long brownish-grey hair that ended at his shoulders. He knew this man very well back in the Enchanted Forest. He was the person who made him his worst-self decades ago and the man who would eventually be the start of his own demise.

"Mr. Mill's" Mr. Gold the local pawnbroker and landlord greeted the younger man as he walked across the street with his cane and limp as he returned the greeting with a firm nod of his head as he continued.

Turning down the street he neared the local diner he and Henry frequented seeing the back of the elderly Grandmother that owned and ran the restaurant with her young granddaughter Ruby as she struggled to carry the heavy sidewalk sign. Pausing his run, the young Principle offered his assistance to the young woman with the long dark hair and red highlights as she gratefully allowed the man to take it out of her hands to place outside the diner.

"Thanks Elijah" she thanks the man every woman in town seemed to have a crush on with playful smirk.

"No problem, Miss Lucas" he replied with a smile.

"You know you call me Ruby" she tells him with a wink of her eye.

"I'll remember that Miss Lucas" he simple replied with a playful smirk on his lips before continuing his run until he came to brief pause under the clock tower. Looking up he saw that his eye's had not deceived him as he originally thought as he saw the large hand of the clock face continued to move.

Upon entering the large home instead of heading straight upstairs to shower and change, his stomach took him to the kitchen where he plucked a red apple from a bowl sat on the island counter in the middle, proceeding to bring it to his mouth to take a large bite out of the fruit he had grown to love. In all his life he had never tasted anything like it, even in the Land of No Magic where every fruit was available to them from the grocery store.

He was abruptly taken out of his thoughts when his sister stormed into the kitchen in her dressing gown with a large brown leather-bound book in her hands, dropping it on the counter with a thud gaining his attention.

"Where did it come from?" Regina demanded out of her brother as he chewed on the piece of apple in his mouth before swallowing.

"Good morning to you, sister" he drawled out to her in dis-interest "It's a beautiful morning thank you for asking" he replies taking another bite of the apple in front of her. He always told her he would never answer any question of her's given to him in this matter.

"Good Morning Elijah" his sister replied with a fake smile before it fell "This book, did you give this Henry?".

"No" he simply answered her, without even looking at the offending item.

"What about from school?" she asked sliding the book over to him. With his free hand the youngest Mill's sibling allowed himself to take in the book in front of him as his fingers brushed over the gold lettering of the large brown book, before opening it to leaf through the pages of picture and words, stopping at a page that almost perfectly illustrated his older sister as a sword was being thrown at her.

"I can assure you sister. This, did not come from the school library".

"Then where did it come from then?" she questioned him as he closed the book to slid back over to her.

"Now, that is question I wish I can answer for you, but sadly, I cannot" he says taking a bite out of the apple in his hand "I see the clock tower in town has started to work. Perhaps miracles do exist" he adds with a smirk before moving around his sister to leave the kitchen to get ready for the day ahead.

Enchanted Forest

Years Ago

"That was an awfully big promise you made to them sister" Elijah drawls out as he gratefully takes the glass of wine from his father "Think you can deliver?" he asked her over the rim of the glass as he takes a gulp of the wine, putting his book to one side for the time being.

"I can and I will!" she hotly replies to her little brother "You don't think I can, do you?".

"If I know you as well as I do know you sister, I'd imagine it's something delightfully gruesome" he couldn't help the corner of his lips twitching up that was quickly mirrored by his sister "But out of curiosity, I must ask. How exactly do you plan on taking their happiness away?".

"The Dark Curse" she answered with a smirk of hers as she drank her wine. Her answer made the smirk on her brother's lips drop as he heard this.

"Are you sure, Your Majesty?" Henry asks her.

"But you said you'd never use it" the magic mirror reminded the Queen in fear who had been listening to the conversation the whole time.

"You made a deal when you gave away the curse" Henry went on.

"You traded it away for the sleeping curse" Elijah reminded her "She will not be happy to see even you sister".

"That's why you'll be joining me brother" she tells him "And since when d I care about anyone else's happiness but mine?" she adds with venom dripping from her voice before looking towards their father "Prepare the carriage. We're going to the Forbidden Fortress".

With his sister's plan in mind, the Evil Queen and her brother traveled through the snowy mountains that surrounded the Forbidden Fortress. The sorceress welcomed the siblings into her home, sitting them down in front of the large fireplace, the

"How are you, dears?" Maleficent asked the pair of siblings as she poured them drink.

"We're doing fine" Regina replied for them both trying to sound friendly to the older sorceress, while the latter watched the Queen's younger brother.

"Are you?" she questions the young Queen "If it were me, I'd be simply tortured watching that flake of Snow so happy" she went on as she took a seat on her own next to the small unicorn that stood beside her chair "Weren't you about the same age when you were to be married? Before she ruined it all. Yes, you were" she reminds the younger sorceress before looking towards her younger brother. "And Elijah, weren't you and Snow once engaged to be married?".

"I assure you" the man deadpanned to the sorceress not amused by her reminder "It wasn't any choice of mine" he grumbled out. None what so ever. He was just thankful his niece by marriage had met her Prince Charming when she did.

"Yes, it was about the same age you were when that Sleeping Beauty got the best of you, my dear Maleficent" The Evil Queen rebutted.

"I soldiered on, as you will too" Maleficent tells the siblings "Hopefully" she adds.

"Enough games. You know why I'm here. I need my curse back" Regina demanded out of the older woman.

"It's not yours anymore" Maleficent argued "A deal's a deal. I traded you my sleeping curse".

"Which failed" Elijah pointed out the older sorceress from his seat "Undone by a simple kiss. Now please, return what's my sisters. We won't ask again" he warned her. The light threat was heard but the older sorceress didn't listen to.

"The Dark Curse? Really?" she questioned the siblings "You must know that not even its unholy power can bring your loved one back from the dead. Have either of you considered a pet?" she asks the sibling as she strokes the small unicorn by her side "They can be quite comforting" she tells them.

"The only comfort for me is Snow White's suffering".

"Well, it's her wedding night. I doubt she's suffering right now" she tells them giving the younger sibling a flirty wink of her eye. She always had an eye for the Queen's brother, even during his darker days, she loved a man in a suit.

"I need that curse" The Queen insisted to the older woman "I know you keep it hidden in the orb above your staff".

"Hidden for the good of all, old friend. Whoever created that monstrosity, makes the three of us look positively…moral. Who did give it to you?".

Instead of answering the Queen stood from her seat and paced the rug as her brother saw the look in her eye, the look that told him that something was going to get burnt in the next few minutes.

"Where I got it's none of your concern" The Queen tell the older sorceress, sharply turning to face her old friend still sat in her seat as her brother watched on "Hand it back".

"Must we do this?" Maleficent asks her old student.

"Yes, must we sister?" her brother snaps at his sister in annoyance. He didn't want to get any blood on his clothes. He had just had them cleaned.

"Alas, we must" she simply replies. Thunder crashed outside as the Queen used her magic to control the fire from the fireplace, as Maleficent stands from her seat to leap away as the fire is aimed straight at her, only for it to be easily deflected by the powerful sorceress. As the fire dispersed against the transparent shield, the Evil Queen summons the multiple weapons that have been displayed around the large hall as the weapons lined up behind her before being thrown towards the unprotected unicorn.

"No!" Maleficent exclaimed seeing what the younger woman was doing. Jumping in front her pet, the sorceress deflects the attack once again. While distracted the Queen causes the iron chandelier to fall from the ceiling, the rings encasing the sorceress and retraining her before she was sent backward against the stone wall behind her.

Helping herself to the staff, the Evil Queen picks up the dropped staff from the floor as her brother joins her side as she caresses the dragon statuette that tapped the staffs that held the Dark Curse his sister needed.

"Love is weakness, Maleficent" The Queen quoted to the sorceress "I thought you knew that?".

"If you're going to k*ll me, k*ll me!" Maleficent spat at the younger woman still in her restraints.

"Why would I do that? You're my only friend".

"Don't do this. This…curse. There are lines even we shouldn't cross" Ignoring the woman's words the Queen turns the staff upside down smashing the crystal ball that held the dark curse within allowing her brother to pick up the small scroll from the floor, unfurling to allow his sister to read over the words scribbled upon the parchment "All power comes with a price. Enacting it will take a terrible toll. It will leave an emptiness inside you. A void you will never be able to fill".

"So be it" her friend tells her as she sharply turns to leave.

"Elijah!" Maleficent called after the younger sibling. He would be the one to stop her "Elijah! You must stop her!" her words went unheard as the younger Mill's continued to follow her sister out of the castle.

At the Evil Queen's request the darkest souls in the realm gathered together at the top of a cliff top around a bonfire. As always the Queen's brother stood by her sister's side as she started dropping the ingredients needed for the curse from a knapsack their father held open into it.

"Who among us is tired of losing?" she asks those that had 's eye's flickered over all those that had gathered for moment the Dark Curse was. A Viking. A Blind Witch. A giant and a pesky little gnome.

"That's why I called you here" she continues "To put an end to our misery. Today, we claim victory and move to a new, better realm. A place where we can finally win".

"And we'll be happy?" The Blind Witch asks her.

"I guarantee it" The Queen answers her "But first, I need something from you. A lock of hair from those with the darkest souls. You must trust me. Because if you don't, there are other ways".

With a wave of her hand the trees behind the Mill's siblings start to grow taller until the group is completely surrounded. Seeing the silent threat villains relent, and hastily each give a lock of their hair for the Queen's curse.

"A wise decision" she states with a satisfied smile.

Starting with her own brother, the Queen stood and watched her brother reach up to his neatly slicked backed hair and pluck out a single hair with his fingers before placing it in the basket for it to be joined with the others. Passing the empty back to her brother, the youngest Mill's quickly hands it back to a knight behind him.

Once she had gathered the other hairs before adding it into the fire as their father present her with a silver embossed chest that hold the last ingredient for the curse.

"All that remains is the final ingredient. The prized heart from my childhood steed" the Queen states taking the large heart out of the chest "The glorious beast whose passing will fuel our victory. Let my wrath be unleashed"

Throwing the heart into the fire a pillar of smoke shoots up in into the sky, filled with lighting as the wind around them swirls until it suddenly evaporates. Laughter is heard in the background as the sibling look over to see the gnome laughing at the Queen's failure.

"Yeah, you really unleashed something, there" the pesky gnome laughed at his sister. He felt the veins under his eye's tingle as his anger got the best of him, feeling the familiar ache in his gums as hunger flashed through his mind as his eye's zeroed in on the little pest that dared to point and laugh at her.

Feeling her brother's change on demeanor the Queen turns the gnome to stone as she hears her brother take in a deep breath and wait for the feeling to pass over him.

'STRANGER DESTROYS HISTORIC SIGN'

'ALCOHOL INVOLVED'

Reading through the article on the front page of the Storybrooke Daily Mirror, Elijah couldn't help but to see right through the word's their local journalist had written for the article and the picture of Emma Swan's mug shot placed along side it as he nursed the coffee in front of him as he joined the Sheriff for breakfast that morning before school.

"Sidney Glass has certainly outdone himself once again" Elijah commented to himself sat opposite the Sheriff with is own drink in front of him as he held the paper in his hand to read over the article his sister had Sidney Glass write.

"And when you say Sidney Glass, you mean..." Graham trailed off.

"Oh no, the whole article has my sisters fingerprints all over it" he tells the sheriff opposite him as Emma approaches the table with a mug of hot cocoa with cinnamon in her hand, to confront the two possible 'admirer's' had bought her.

Elijah, as always was in a suit. Did this guy even own another other clothes?.

Sensing a presence behind him, the Principle quickly turns the paper so the front article was hidden from view as he twisted around to see Emma approach his and Graham's table.

"Ah, so you decided to stay" Graham observed out loud seeing the blonde woman still in town.

"Observant" she states to the man "Important for a cop".

"It's good news for our tourist business, it's bad for our local signage" his friend opposite him had to suppress a smirk from appearing on his face at the attempt of the joke, which surprisingly fell flat on the blonde stood at their table "It's… It's a joke. It's because you ran over our sign".

Elijah's eye's trailed over to counter to see Ruby looking back at him with an almost jealous look in her eye's seeing the blonde speaking to the man only to see a red apple on the counter, one he knew very well.

"I see my sister has made a welcoming visit to you this morning" he blinked up to the the blonde with a hint of a smirk on his lips.

"She sure did" she drawled out sarcastically with a smile to pair it "What with the apple's anyway?" she asks the Mill's man.

"It's a...family thing" was all he could say to it as Emma got back to the real reason for her 'visit' to the table.

"Look guys, the cocoa was a nice gesture, and I am impressed that one of you guessed that I like cinnamon on my chocolate because most people don't, but I am not here to flirt. So thank you, but no thank you" sh tells the pair placing the hot drink on their table.

"I didn't send it" Elijah tells her. But he's have to remember the cinnamon part. It seemed that Henry was like his mother like that.

"Me neither" Graham added.

"I did" a small voice chirped from a couple of booth down, both men looked up to see Henry there in his uniform "I like cinnamon, too" he adds approaching the blonde slipping his backpack onto his shoulder.

"Don't you have school?" Emma questions her son glancing over to his Uncle and Principle who didn't seem bothered to see his nephew and student in the diner.

"Duh. I'm ten" he shrugs "Walk me" At that, Emma picked up the apple from the counter to leave with Henry with the ten-year old calling back to say goodbye to his Uncle "Bye Lijah!" he called back.

"Goodbye Henry" his Uncle call back going back to the newspaper.

"Shouldn't you be getting to school as well?" Graham asked the Principle thinking he should be making his way to the school to start his work day.

"Hmmm" he hummed to himself "I have a feeling I won't be today".

Finding his sister in her office, he let himself into the black and white office without that reminded him of her castle back home without knocking as he found his sister on the phone as he stuffed his hands in his trouser pockets as he wondered the marble floor waiting for his sister to finish her conversation.

"Because I'm the one who gave her the idea" hearing this the younger Mill's a curious brow rose on his face in a silent question as she hung up.

"May I inquire what you are up to sister?" he asked her straight away making his way to her desk.

"Just, taking care of our little problem baby brother".

"Hmmm" he hummed to himself as he picking up a random item from her desk "Is that what your calling Miss Swan then? A problem".

"She is as long as she's in town. Yes she is".

"Then perhaps I should warn you that spreading smear campaigns in the local paper against her. is no way of bringing you closer to your son or to put any distance between them" he says placing the item back onto her desk, in a different spot than from where he had picked it up from.

"I have no problem bonding with my son" she tells her younger brother, moving the items back to where it was originally was.

"And yet neither of us knew nothing about the storybook he's been obsessed with" he argued.

"It won't matter" she quickly dismissed her brother's words as she stood from her behind her desk to find her bag and coat "As soon as Henry find's out what Miss Swan did to poor Dr. Hopper, he'll see she's nothing but a con-woman".

The younger Mill's did nothing but let his sister continue her mission to drive Emma out of town as he found his promise to his father harder to knee by the second as she descended further down the same rabbit hole in which only one person would get hurt.

It didn't take long for the elder Mill's to return to her desk knowing that the current bane of her existence was safely locked away in a police cell in the Sheriff's Station.

Getting back to work the Mayor of Storybrooke sat behind her desk with her brother as he was already there to go over the school's budget for the next term sat on the corner of his desk as he went over the numbers printed on the sheet's of a paper in his hands as they were disturbed as they heard the sound of a chain saw burring from outside the window.

Jumping from their places the Mill's siblings saw the source of the sound as they found Emma Swan with a chainsaw in her hand as she sawed off a branch of their Apple tree that grew in the garden of the town hall.

"What the hell!" the Mayor yelled at the window.

"I appears that Miss Swan has made bail sister" Elijah pointed out to the elder Mill's sibling as Emma continued to cut through the the branch.

"You think!" she spat at her brother before rushing out of the office to confront the woman on the ground as he continued to watch the blonde continue her work on the tree.

Red apple's spilled onto the grass as the bails-bond person paused her work to look up at the window to see Elijah stood there with a hint of a smirk playing on lips, admiring the woman's eagerness to play with fire she had no idea that could turn into an inferno.

"Maybe it's for the best" Henry tells his children as he finds them still on top of the cliff they had tried to enact the dark curse from. While Regina stood trying to think of why it didn't work, her brother was sat on a bolder with his scarf in his hand as tried to get a grip back on reality after his small slip with the gnome, "The forces you are summoning are darker than we can conceive" .

"Oh? Now you're trying to protect me?" she sharply retorted to the older man.

"It's what I do" Henry simply told his daughter.

"I know. You are the only ones who does".

"Helping you both is my life" he tells his grown children.

"Well then help me understand why this curse isn't working".

"If you want to know that, then you need to back to the person who gave it to you in the first place" the sibling grimed to themselves knowing they would somehow speak to the man that was currently in Snow White's and Prince Charming's dungeon "Revenge is a dark and lonely road and once you go down it, there is no heading back" he reminds them.

"What is there for me to head back to?".

Venturing into the garden being the town hall to find his sister picking up the apples that had fallen onto the green lawn, the younger Mill's sibling overheard the conversation between the Sheriff and the Mayor, and it seems to not going to way she thought it would be as she stood in front of the man

"I think your schoolboy crush is clouding your judgment. Remember – I made you sheriff. And I can take it away just as easily" she threatened him.

"If you want me to arrest her again, I will" he tells her.

"Good" she tells the man before kneeling back onto the floor to continue the clean-up.

"But she's going to keep coming at you" he tells her "And I know that you're going to keep coming at her and you will do whatever it takes to get her out of here and you may succeed".

"No, I will succeed" she snaps at the Sheriff standing back up to face the man "He's my son. It's what's best for him".

"I know that's what you believe. Yeah, but if this escalates, it seems to me the only one who will get hurt is Henry".

"I'm afraid I just might have to agree with our dear Sheriff sister".

"Aren't you supposed to be helping me?!".

"My promise to our Father did not extend to picking up apples from the ground" he tells her.

"Then what are you still here for?" .

"Just relishing in the point I made earlier" he says kicking an apple towards the woman with his polished shoe, for it to come to a stop just in front of her to earn a hard glare from her from the ground as she snatched it up in her hand to place in her basket.

"No matter how much you don't want to see it, he has been happier since Miss Swan has been in town".

"So you're on her side now?" she grumbled to him.

"Henry's" he answered her "And as long as Henry is happy having her here, I will continue to fight for whatever Henry wants" he says checking his watch on his wrist "Now if you would excuse me, it's time I picked my nephew up from school and bring him here. I'll see you at 5 o'clock" at that the younger Mill's left his sister to continue cleaning up, unknowingly that he had given her an idea that would finally drive Emma Swan out of their lives.

As he waited for his sister to return from visiting Rumpelstiltskin in the cell the royals had put him in, Elijah was left to while away what time there was to waste by staring at the canvas portrait that captured his likeness as a very old, very sick man while he remained young a beautiful in appearance. It hung in his room for all to see as it continued to take the toll of his self indulgent younger years.

"Elijah" Henry greeted his son finding him in his room with a glass of red liquid in his hand looking up at the physical representation of he curse he had been bestowed on him for his younger miss-deeds. His younger days' were a blur to him as his memories of the decade he spent as the Queen's brother

"It's funny, I had wondered if I would take after you or mother when I was younger. Now I can be assured I would've taken after you" he voiced to his father pointing to the portrait that hung above them.

"Your curse is no laughing matter my son" Henry told the younger man as he joined him.

"So is the Dark Curse. I'am one of the reason's why she's casting it after all".

He was dying. Maybe not physically, but the darkness that came with the curse slowly turning him into a monster the more he indulged in his darker side. A manifestation of the person he had become after years of abuse. He had been so tempted just to end it all. Take a knife to the portrait and end his suffering.

But Regina had stopped him with the same promise she gave the other's on the cliff. He would be happy in this new world. With his family. In a world he wasn't seen as a monster.

"What if I told her the truth?" he asked his father. He knew what he was asking.

"No" Henry sternly told his son "You must never tell her the truth Elijah. Even if she did believe you, she love's you more than anything in the world, you'd only be hurting her".

"I was only trying to help" he weakly tells his father.

"You were young Elijah. And your mother knew that" he tried to comfort the man who still felt the weight of guilt that hung heavy on his shoulders to this day.

"What do I do Father?" he desperately asked his father.

"Help her in this new land. Like I should've done when your mother wanted to control your lives. I was speaking the truth to you earlier. Helping you and your sister is my life. No matter what you've done in the past".

"And if she doesn't want my help?".

"Then stand by her like you have all this time despite what you did. Protect her and she will change".

"Redemption?" he states to his father in disbelief "You really think she's capable of that after everything she's done?".

"Yes. Because I believe in you Elijah. Even at your worst".

"Then you truly haven't seen my worst Father" he sneers at the elder man turning his back on him to re-fill his glass with red liquid "If you have ten you would know there is no hope for me anymore".

"Maybe not" he gulped "But you want to see her change just as much as I do, not because of you did, but because it's the right thing to do".

Turning to face him, the young Mill's stilled as he thought over his Father's words. Redemption and his sister didn't see plausible to be in the same sentence yet here he was about to make a promise he knew his father would keep his word on the impossible.

"I promise. You have my word".

Thursday night dinner's always seemed like the highlight of the week for the youngest Mill's sibling as he and his sister dropped everything to spend time with his small family before taking him to his appointment with Dr. Hopper across the street.

A smile that he hadn't seen on his nephew's face for week's matched the sparkle in the young boy's eye's as they made their way towards his mother's office only to slow down as they heard voices coming from inside her office. Gently grasping his nephew's shoulder the younger Mill's stopped the young boy from going any further as he heard Emma speak.

"Well, he's in therapy" they heard her say "And I only got through a couple of pages of his shrinks notes before you had me arrested. But putting all that aside. He thinks everyone in this town is a fairy tale character".

"And you don't?" Regina replied.

"How can I? The poor kid can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality and its only getting worse. It's crazy".

Pulling himself out of his Uncle's grasp the young boy shot forward to stand in the open doorway to see his birth mother and adopted mother in the office.

"Henry!" he yelled to stop him only to alert the women inside to his presence as he stood in full view of the blonde.

"You think I'm crazy?" he echoed his birth mother's words as he and Elijah stood in the doorway as the man's gaze fell straight on his sister sat in an armchair, relishing her small victory over the blonde.

"Henry…" Emma started but Henry ran away from his Uncle's grasp before he could stop him as Emma turn back to Regina.

"How long was he there?".

"Long enough" Elijah answered for the blonde woman as he nervously pulled his tie tight up his neck knowing his sister had used him.

"You knew he would be here" she accused Regina as Elijah simply glowered at his sister in as his anger simmered to the surface before he turned to run after his ten-year old nephew.

"Did I know Elijah picks up my son to bring him to my office every Thursday at precisely 5:00 pm so I can take them for dinner before his therapy session? Of course, I did. I'm his mother".

"You have no soul. How the hell did you get like this?" Emma said in disgust before leaving.

He always seemed to be waiting for something. Waiting for his sister to exhibit a hint of change towards her vengeful tendencies. Waiting for his chance to become the man his father saw in him.

But all his time he waited, he failed to take the chance when presented to him over the years. His own self-indulgence had made his sister take drastic measures to ensure his survival in a world that would see him become a monster. And now he was waiting for his nephew to simply allow him to comfort him when they had both overheard what his mother said behind his back about his obsession with fairy tales.

Sat on an uncomfortable chair outside 's office the youngest Mills fidgeted with the cuff on his dress shirt as he waited for the cursed therapist to comfort the boy that he had helped his sister raise.

He'd felt useless at what to do. His nephew didn't trust him. And that hurt him more than anything in the world.

The sound of the door at the bottom of the stairs broke him out his dark thoughts as he looked up to see a familiar blonde rushing up the stairs only to be met with the younger brother of the woman that had made it her mission to make her life as uncomfortable as she could.

Upon seeing the woman Elijah stood to his feel, putting himself in between her and the office his nephew was currently in as he buttoned up his jacket to face her.

"Miss Swan" Elijah stated in greeting to the woman that was the cause to his nephew's distress, physically gulping at the tall man.

"Elijah, I-".

"Another one of my sister's dirty tricks I'm afraid" he quickly interrupts her "One that she even inflicted on me a few times" he admits to the blonde as a flash of hurt goes through his eye's.

"Why do stay with her then? Why don't you leave?".

"Family Above All" he simply states to her "I made a promise to someone very dear to us, that I would stay by her side no matter what. I gave them my word. If nothing else, I am a man of my word. When I make promise to someone I will do whatever means necessary to keep it, no matter who gets in the way. That includes you Miss Swan. Do we have an understanding?".

"We do".

"Good" he says stepping out of the way of the blonde's way to the office "I'm sure you remember where his home is, right?".

Nodding with a meek smile the man in the suit walked towards the stairs to leave the Henry's birth mother to speak to her son "Goodnight Miss Swan".

He could hear the thunder from where he stood in front of his father's grave on the same cliff he stood with his sister and the other dark souls that inhabited the Enchanted Forest.

Instead now, he stood in his dark armor ready to face the enemy head on as purple clouds rolled out from the top of the cliff down to the ground as held the black rose between his fingers ready to say goodbye to the man you still believed in him after everything he had done and all he would do to keep the word he had made to the man before his death to enact the Dark Curse.

"Family Above All" he states out-load to the headstone as he places the black rose in front of it. "Goodbye Father" he adds as a tear trickles down his cheek, before quickly turning on his hell to prepare for their final attack before they were swept away in the curse themselves.
