A second after the solar eclipse and firebending returns to the world, Ozai shoots lightning towards Zuko. A second after that, born of instinct inside every human being, Zuko dodges. Instead of running away from his father, Zuko faces him. Not willing to put the weight of the world on a 13 year old's shoulders, Zuko fights. He screams for all to hear. "Agni Kai!"

For every Avatar, there was a Protector, one who came from the element the Avatar was born into previously in the cycle.
