Naruto and Dragon Ball is owned by Masashi Kishimoto and Akira Toriyama respectively
At the center of Toki Toki City, next to the altar for Shenron, a man in a black trench coat places the seven Dragon Balls on the altar and raises his head. This is Trunks Brief and he can only hope that this wish will bring the one all of time needs.
"Rise Shenron!"
"AAHH!" Naruto Uzumaki shouts with all his might as he slams his Giant Rasengan into Mukade and his Puppet Body. Naruto burst out from the other side and lands behind Mukade and next to Minato.
"No! My plans for the 5 Shinobi countries. This can't be it for me." Mukade, still conscious even though half of his body is destroyed, yells at his failure and the cause of it. He shouts at Naruto and Sara. "If I cannot rule time itself then I will destroy it!"
With the last of his strength, Mukade fires a beam that hits the Ryumyaku but luckily only sends Sara back. That is when the evil time traveler dies and him and his Puppet Body falls into the bottom of the temple. The entire place turns red and shakes.
Minato looks at the temple in shock and horror. "The Ryumyaku! We need to hurry."
"Right!" Naruto agrees and runs to the temple with Sara running towards them. The walkway collapses below the Rouran Queen and she starts to fall.
"Hang on!" Naruto jumps and grabs her with Minato falling as well. That is when wood grabs all of them and hoists them up to the altar. This is thanks to Yamato, holding Kakashi. They all land on the altar as the temple shakes uncontrollably.
Minato looks at Naruto and holds out his hand. "Quick, give me the kunai I gave you. We can still seal the place up!"
Naruto nods and hands him the Flying Thunder God kunai. The future 4th Hokage places his kunai at the center.
"Seal!" Minato shouts. However, a piece of the Ryumyaku was damaged and the altar begins to glow white light then it dims.
"Something is wrong!" Sara can tell as a massive red light engulfs the place.
"Uh…" Naruto groans in pain and finds himself on the ground. More specifically on Sara's chest. Both of them blush and quickly get up with Minato and Kakashi waking up as well.
"What happen?" Kakashi groans in pain as they all look around. That is when they notice Yamato is gone and the Ryumyaku is destroyed.
"It must have only enough power to send Yamato back to the future. Mukade last attack destroyed the structure and now…" Minato stops theorizing once Naruto gasps.
"I'm stuck in the past?" Naruto is shocked as Sara comforts him with a hug.
Boruto Uzumaki falls to the ground and looks up to see a smirking Urashiki Otsutsuki. Beside the kid from the future is Sasuke and Jiraiya, both are unconscious. The only ones awake is Boruto and a young Naruto.
"Is that all you humans can do?!" Urashiki mocks the humans. Now that he has transform, Naruto's Biju and the God Fruit will be his. But first, he will have revenge on Boruto for breaking his horn. He raises his arm and a purple ball of energy bursts out of it.
"Amenosubaruboshinomikoto: Gyokko!" Urashiki launches the ball of energy at the Boruto. Naruto jumps in front of Boruto and takes the energy ball.
"Naruto!" Boruto grabs his future father and holds him. "Why did you do that?!"
"I-I don't know. It was like every part of me told me to protect you." Naruto gasps out and dies in his future son's arms.
"No... Dad come on. Wake up! You can't be dead, you are suppose to the Hokage!"
As Boruto grieves and hugs Naruto's body, Sasuke disappears which makes Urashiki laugh mockingly. "HAHA! Without the future Hokage, that Uchiha must never redeem himself and return to your village. The Nine-tails is mine. With the God Fruit, I will become a true god and surpass that fool Momoshiki."
Urashiki goes to grab Naruto but Boruto grabs his wrist instead. A voice that sends nothing like him speaks through Boruto's mouth. "What did you say Urashiki? I am a fool?"
He raises his head and reveals a horn on the right side of his head. As well as his eye turn into a Byakugan with blue marks on his face. His glare makes Urashiki shudder and realize that this is his dead master.
"Lord Momoshiki. You pass your Kama to this boy." Urashiki mutters and receives a palm strike as a reply, sending him a few feet.
"Sullying my name has marked you for death." Borushiki proclaims and angers Urashiki.
"You think I am afraid of you? That body hasn't receive all your power! That means I can kill you! Now die, Momoshiki!"
Urashiki creates a larger Amenosubaruboshinomikoto.
"Amenosubaruboshinomikoto: Ryugu!" It blocks out the sun and launch from his hands. Borushiki laughs and holds hand up. Once the giant energy ball hits his hand, it gets smaller and smaller until it is a small orb in his hand. Clearly, his underling forgot he can absorb chakra.
"Now. What is that technique called again?" Borushiki mocks his traitorous underling and smiles. That is when the orb turns blue and becomes bigger than it was originally. "Ah yes. Rasengan!"
He launches it and hits Urashiki. The Otsutsuki screams as he disintegrates. "CURSE YOU MOMOSHIKI! YOU MAY HAVE BEATEN ME BUT YOU AND THAT HUMAN ARE TRAP IN THE PAST!"
Urashiki Otsutsuki is gone, leaving a possessed Boruto, a dead future father, and an unconscious Sannin. His words do ring true. Time travel was always Urashiki's specialty. But that doesn't mean Momoshiki has lost, he will simply wait until the Kyubi reforms. That blasted Uchiha is gone and his past self is a weak child, ripe for killing. His Kama won't make him disappear even if his host's father is gone. Momoshiki has waited for centuries, what is a few more years to a god? Although, perhaps he should finish off that Sannin before he becomes a problem.
Just as he walks to Jiraiya's unconscious body, his own possessed one stops in his track. "What? Why won't you obey my commands?"
"I'm not done yet!" Boruto's voice speaks once more, shocking Momoshiki. His consciousness should be gone!
"You lost Boruto Uzumaki! You don't have a future to return to!"
"I don't care! You will not control me." Boruto refuses to give up.
Mighty Shenron stares at Trunks.
"WHAT IS YOUR WISH? YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ONE."
Trunks clutches his fist and looks up at the wish-granting dragon. "Give me a strong partner. Someone that has the power to defend time itself!"
"YOUR WISH IS GRANTED." Shenron said as his red eyes glow.
In the office of the Kazekage, the leader of Sunagakure is signing papers and reading reports when he feels an evil presence. His ANBU hidden in the room falls out of their hiding spots and lays unconscious. A tall figure in a black hood and cape enters the office with the Kazekage standing up and looking at this intruder.
"Who are you?" The Kazekage questions this figure, who simply laughs.
"My, my. Naruto Uzumaki. Trap in the past and wanting to fix it. Wishing to control it for his family. Such a tale almost brings a tear to me if such emotions existed in me." The figure mocks the Kazekage, who takes off his blue robes to reveal Naruto Uzumaki and armor. The one that became Kazekage to protect his wife and people.
"How did you know?" Naruto goes into a battle stance but he sweats. This man is not human. Not with the energy he is releasing. More vile than any Tailed Beast.
"We want the same thing. To change all of history to our whims. I can help you get that power if you agree to be my student." The figure holds his hand out, waiting for a shake.
Naruto thinks on these words. He has done so much to change the future he knew but there are still those that will bring destruction. Now he can get the power to erase them from history?
He takes his hand and shakes with the stranger.
Borushiki finds himself on a altar and looks up to see a giant green dragon.
"FAREWELL!" Shenron disappears, leaving a confuse possessed Boruto. Trunks steps forward with a smile.
"Your surprised. I'm sure. Please, let me test you." Trunks unsheathes his sword and dashes towards him. Borushiki jumps back from the strike and creates a red axe. He slams it down but Trunks guards with his blade, creating a shockwave.
At the Time Nest, the shockwave wakes up a sleeping bird with a beard. "Ki!"
"Oh come on. Who woke up Tokitoki?" A small pink skin woman gets up from her seat and walks out. The Supreme Kai of Time wants answers. Trunks is getting such a talking to if he caused this.
Trunks runs at Borushiki, who tries to slash him but he disappears in a instant. "A substitution jutsu?"
Borushiki is then elbow on the back and Trunks rapidly moves his hands then place them out.
"Burning Attack!" A giant energy sphere fires from his hands and Borushiki holds his hand out and grabs the sphere. The sphere doesn't stop, which confuses Borushiki. He can absorb all forms of chakra. Why is this any different? The confusion turns to pain once the sphere hits him and crashes him into a pillar.
"No matter. You will not beat me." Borushiki pats the dirt off his clothes and walks towards Trunks. But he just powers down and smiles.
"You are strong. I can tell you will be a good partner." Trunks throws his sword in the air and leans to the side so his blade can land in his sheath. These words anger the Otsutsuki within the human. Momoshiki would never become comrades with an outsider. The only people he has ever called partners are fellow Otsutsuki. Not some mortal.
"Such sacrilege. You will pay for those words!" Borushiki creates a Rasengan but freezes in place. "What? Why can't I move?!"
"That would be me." The Supreme Kai of Time comes out, holding her hand up. She gives a sassy smile and waves with her other hand.
"S-supreme Kai of Time. I thought you were out on vacation with Tokitoki." Trunks is shock to see his boss. That look she is giving, it tells that Trunks is getting quite the scolding.
"I was until that shockwave woke him up. We are talking about this later Trunks. For now, we need to deal with the Otsutsuki." The Supreme Kai of Time said as she walks to Borushiki.
"You think I am afraid of you Kais?! My people have defeated you before!"
"True. But you have never face a Supreme Kai. Trunks, hit the horn." She said as Trunks breaks the Borushiki's horn with a punch. Then, she snaps her fingers and Boruto regains control of his body.
"What? I'm back."
"All thanks to me!" The Supreme Kai of Time gives a peace sign as Trunks introduces her while she poses.
"This is the Supreme Kai of Time. My boss and ruler of time itself. She and I have created the Time Patrol to stop any changes to time."
"I am Boruto Uzumaki. Thanks for saving me from that guy. Possession does not feel good." Boruto greets them as the Supreme Kai gives him a big smile.
"Now I should tell you, that Otsutsuki isn't gone. It will be harder for him to take control of your body from now on but he can still try if you are not careful."
Boruto nods. He can still feel Momoshiki inside him (Why did he heard moaning somewhere?) but it seems to be like how his father had Kurama sealed in him. Sure enough when he looks at his hand, there is the Kama mark.
"I'll be sure to train for that. So you guys summoned me for something?" Boruto asks and Trunks explains the situation. It seems that someone is messing with important events in history and he needs a partner to correct the timeline and stop the culprits that are harming the past.
He is then ask to be that partner and he opens his mouth.
Even though they are from different locations and different times, the father and son from separate timelines speak.
"I'm in. I want to change/save the future/past!"
