It was currently the mid-way point of the Devil Civil War. The Old Satan Faction, consisting of the descendants of the original Four Great Satans and their subordinates, were fighting against the 72 Pillars, both of them being made up of Pure-Blooded Devils. The reason for the conflict in the first place was that the descendants of the original Four Great Satans still wished to continue the Great War with Heaven and the Grigori, which would likely result in the deaths of the entire Devil race.
After their strongest member Rizevim Livan Lucifer left them at the early stages of the conflict, the Old Satan Faction appeared to be on the losing side, as they no longer had any members that could oppose Sirzechs Gremory and Ajuka Astaroth in direct combat, with both of them being known as Super Devils due to their irregular powers that surpassed even the original Four Great Satans and most of the gods of the various pantheons.
Bidleid Bashalun Beelzebub who was currently the unofficial leader of the Old Satan Faction, had recently received intel from one of his spies about an item that could change the outcome of the war. Naturally, he did not think much about the item, however he did see an opportunity. So, he then gave out an order to Grayfia Lucifuge to retrieve this mysterious item. Grayfia like her brother had chosen to remain in the conflict despite her direct superior, the son of the original Lucifer, having left, as both she and her brother originally believed that only the direct descendants of the original Four Great Satans should rule over the Underworld, however recently she has begun to reconsider it while trying to not show it. However, what she did not know is that others, including the current Four Satans, had already noticed her changes.
Grayfia arrived at the outskirts of the Astaroth territory without any problems, being dressed in a black robe with a hood that hides her facial features, waiting for the spy to arrive.
After waiting for nearly 15 minutes, a creepy-looking man with red eyes and blonde hair arrives.
"Do you have the requested item?" asks Grayfia, having been informed about this man.
"Yes." replies the man, taking out what appears to be a red King chess piece made from some kind of crystal, while asking "Did you bring me the money?".
"Yes." was her reply, giving the man a large bag full of gold coins, trying to hide her disgust for him, as she has no respect for traitors willing to betray others for money.
The man then gives her the item.
Having received the item, she decides to order the man to tell her what it is and how it is used, as she is curious, despite her superiors not having given her such an order.
The man decides to tell her about the Evil Pieces made by Ajuka Astaroth and what the King Piece is, due to being in a happy mood after having received the money from her, while thinking it was also part of their deal. He explains that the King piece is connected to 15 other chess pieces that can be summoned to the King at will and explains that the pieces can even resurrect those who have died recently, he then explains to her about the abilities of the Evil Pieces and how the pieces are used to reincarnate others into devils.
She thanks him for the information and decides to return to the Old Satan Faction territory.
After Grayfia left the Astaroth territory, she teleports directly outside the Old Satan Faction headquarters, only to soon be surrounded by eight devils from the Old Satan Faction.
"What is the meaning of this!?" demands Grayfia, having recognizing some of the devils who are surrounding her.
"Kukukukuhahaha" laughs one of the devils "Did you really think we would not have noticed?"
"What are you talking about?"
Seeing her confusion, one of the devils decides to answer "We already know you are reconsidering your role in the Old Satan Faction, so Lord Beelzebub decided to get rid of you in case you become a problem later on. Your assignment was just an opportunity for us to get rid of you without your brother finding out. We will tell him you died on the job. Lord Beelzebub never had any interest in the item you were sent to retrieve in the first place, as he considers it an insult for any Pure-Blood Devil to use, even if it would make us stronger, he is even more repulsed by the fact that the item is a creation of one of his greatest enemies."
While Grayfia was in shock from their sudden betrayal, one of the devils quickly cast a spell on her without her noticing that sent her to the Dimensional Gap.
Grayfia knew she had arrived in the Dimensional Gap, so she quickly cast a protective barrier around herself in order to protect herself, knowing that she will likely die in minutes if she is directly being exposed to the nothingness of the Dimensional Gap, despite that she knew that she will still die as soon as her demonic energy runs out.
A massive red Western Dragon around 100 meters in length stopped what he was doing.
A few minutes had passed since he felt a devil's presence appear in the middle of the Dimensional Gap and now he has grown curious, so starts to make his way towards the devil's location.
When the red dragon arrives, he sees a young voluptuous woman in in her early twenties with long silver hair and red eyes inside of a protective barrier.
He then used his powers on her to quickly read her mind to find out why she is in this place.
"Interesting." was his reaction after having read her mind and found out about her past "Be grateful Devil for what I am about to do."
Grayfia at first was shocked from having met the strongest being known as Great Red, thinking that she will be killed, but after hearing him talk to her she is now confused.
Before she could think of anything else, Great Red uses his powers on her and she is no longer in the Dimensional Gap.

Next chapter Grayfia will be sent to Earthland, where she decides to use the King Piece on a dying Natsu Dragneel, while also deciding to take care of him.
Grayfia could either be a mother figure to Natsu or a possible love interest.
I have not decided if Natsu will live through the 400 year time period before canon starts or if he will use the Eclipse Gate to travel to the future with the Dragon Slayers. Compared to canon 400 years into the future, I think the civilization would be more primitive, which could be a possible reason for time travel. If Natsu lives through the 400 years he will be gaining some kind of high position in society such as a king of a country or become the emperor of Alvarez. However then there would be a question about his Future Peerage, as it would be more logical that he would use most of his Evil Pieces during the 400 year period if he lives through it, unless I make some characters older than canon. If he time travels, the story could have him and Grayfia join Fairy Tail. For me both of them are interesting choices with different benefits. I plan for Zeref to still be his brother, but Natsu will not be E.N.D, Zeref could still be a member of his Peerage or he could simply travel to the future with him as a human. Zeref will not be present when the dragon fatally wounds Natsu in the town where their family lives.
Before you all ask, Grayfia could not use multiple spells in the Dimensional Gap due to her using all of her demonic energy to hold up her barrier, she could not use the teleportation spell due to the Dimensional Gap interfering with her magic control. Draconic Deus is similar to what Edolas is to Earthland, both of them being parallel worlds. The various gods of Earthland rule over the laws of Earthland but they usually do not interfere with their own world. Grayfia also does not have any wish to become a King of a Peerage, and she knows that due to the King Piece increasing the power of the user 10 to 100 times, there is a high risk of the person dying. As the Devil Civil War is currently taking place, Ajuka will not be keeping tabs on his Evil Pieces as he is convinced that all of his Evil Pieces are at a secure location that only his loyal subordinates know, and considering that Natsu will be reincarnated soon, Natsu will summon all of his Evil Pieces to his location in Earthland before Ajuka finds out that one set is missing, due to Grayfia telling Natsu to do so.
