The only ties the Scott brothers shared was blood and basketball. They had lived in the same town with the same father. On opposite sides.
Lucas grew up with his mom Karen and Keith. While Nathan grew up with Dan and Deb.
In the wake of Dan getting killed in prison. It brought together his sons who hated each other.
Karen and Deb who had years of bad blood between them.
The funeral was private and basically empty.
When a woman and a girl in black dropped flowers along with the others.
They were faces no one recognized.
(Who are you?) Karen asked.
(What are you doing here? This is for family only.) Deb said.
The woman lifted her glasses. (We are family Deborah.)
(This is Dan's daughter.) The woman announced.
