At the beginning of time when humans beings first became aware, they still were not aware of the dozens of entities on higher planes of existence watching and guarding their universe, these beings did so to ensure that everything happened as they should.
Some of these entities wanted nothing more than to protect and help and some others had wicked intentions of exploiting and abusing the universe that they watched for their own selfish goals and ambitions, to humans you would divide these two between good and evil, between Gods and Devils.
One of such Devils got sick and tired of the constant battle for human souls and the struggle of obtaining more believers, he wanted to destroy that universe and re-create it in secret so that he was the only creator and thus the only one people should worship. He bribed, forced, and threatened the others into letting him have his way, and it was agreed that if they could get rid of him, they would allow it, the sacrifice of one universe to get rid of such a menace was an acceptable loss.
Two on the side of good heard this and were shocked, they considered the universe they wanted to destroy to be something they both treasured, I mean they put a lot more work to maintain that universe than anyone else.
These two came up with a secret plan to use a mortal with the power of Chaos in her weakened state when giving birth, they made copies of two universes, one where only DC characters exist, and the other where only Marvel characters exist, but in reality, they left the copies and were going to use the original ones for their plan, they considered the destruction of both of these to be an absolute irredeemable tragedy, so each took a universe in their hands and using all the power they had stored for millions of years they merged the two universes into one.
These two accomplish something that was considered impossible, they merged two universes perfectly together and did so without causing any damage to them, this however had severely drained their power, "We did it, we managed to save those souls, now that bastard will never be able to undo what we accomplished and this new universe shall be safe."
Dahak looked at Lucifer and could not help but to smile, "Yes, we saved them from being corrupted or destroyed, I just hope that this does not send any ripples or others will find out what we did, and in our current state we are hardly able to defend ourselves."
That is when a deep with a furious tone to his voice was heard clearing his throat, "That is something that you should have thought of before you did something like this, I know my son and my brother were up to something, but this, I never imagine them being so foolish. First I have to congratulate you on what you both achieved, but also tell you that to maintain the balance of order we can not have this happen again."
Both of them began to wonder what will he do to them, but one thought it couldn't possibly be good. "My son, you and My brother shall be both stripped of your godhood, you shall be made mortals like the mortals you did this for, and you both shall be sent to live among them, should you prove that this mistake of yours was a good decision, we shall grant you back your godhood, but do not be afraid, you shall have knowledge, wisdom, and long life to accomplish this."
One of them looked at him, "So basically, you love these mortals so much, live for eternity among them?" He began to laugh as he looked at his brother and smiled. "With so few words, yes, that is exactly it. I shall however not make it easy, this is also your punishment for your transgression."
Both former deities were sent down to the universe and they were sent to be born on the planet Krypton. They were both to be brothers or half brothers if you want to be technical, they would be born in the House of Zod and the House of El, one was born from a lady in the House of Zod, and the other from two ladies in the House of Zod and House of Vex and their father from the House of El
This is where Clark Kent's story begins, this is the day the two punished deities became mortals, brothers, to each other, one was named Kor Zod-El and the other was named Dru-Zod. Krypton had long abandoned the practice of natural childbirth, but the Patriarch of the House of El, did like his beautiful wives, which of course cause both women to become pregnant and became mothers to Dru and Jor and Zor and not Lyta-Zod wanting to give birth again convinced her sister wife Nyssa-Vex to become the surrogate mother to Kor.
The House of El was a house tasked with having and raising scientist to advance the scientific knowledge of Krypton and to come up with the problems their world and colonies on other worlds faced themselves with, the House of Zod, however, was tasked with having and raising Soldiers, they were the main source of military officers.
The military on the planet Krypton was in charge of defense, protection of the people of Krypton by any means necessary, while not in combat they were also tasked with enforcing the laws that the Krypton Council enacted for the good of all, at least in theory.
The Four brothers grew up together, and they took to their duties of learning and following their parents' instructions rather well, they were perfect students, the academy sent nothing but top grades which caused their parents to be extremely proud and vocal about their joy with their friends, and neighboring houses.
Dru took to military studies like a fish to water, he was eager to serve and protect his people, Jor and Zor took to sciences a little too much for one of their mother's comfort, but considering there was also part of the House of El it was not surprising that there would take after their father. but surprisingly Kor was great at both So Once they graduated as entry-level officers in the Krypton military, she assigns them to a unit.
"Mother, I told you I don't want to be a soldier, let Dru be the one to do it. I got dozens of experiments that will have to be delayed because of this." His mother was not happy to hear this, "Very well, if you like being stuck in a lab all day long, at least give our house noble tradition a try, you never know, you might enjoy it. Serve for five years and at the end of those five years you can choose which house you will honor, you can remain in the military and live with your brother, or be a scientist and live in the House where your father lives. That should be fair."
Dru never understood why his brother was going this far as to leave their house, ignore the traditions and duties of their family, it was simply too painful and emotionally confusing so he kept quiet as his mother talked with his brother.
Five years came and went, Dru served with distinction in the unit he was assigned to, and Kor was good to his word, after five years he was allowed to leave the military but not before saving most of the people of Kandor from black zero including his Brother's first wife and child considering Dru had two wives like there father and go and live with his father's house. However, having been educated in the military academy meant that he had to attend the Science academy all over again.
Kor was a genius however so the embarrassment of being the oldest student in the Academy was short-lived, he graduated with honor and top of his class in a fraction of the time others normally take. Dru joked that his brother might have the military life, but he sure benefits from having known military discipline even if his brother will never acknowledge it.
Dru spent most of his time working in the military, his commanders were so impressed that some of them wanted to have him marry some of their daughters, too bad for them he was already married. Kor was hardly ever seen without smelling awful from the chemicals and scents of the lab or without having his face stuck in a book.
His wives often complain that he touches those books more than he touches them. Dru often wondered why the hell did they have to complain to him, it's not like he could control or tell Kor what the hell to do. Dru was busy with the orbital defense of Krypton and all their interplanetary colonies. He was also in charge of a unit that deals with extremely dangerous criminals.
His family often joked that they assigned him that unit to get him killed. Some people friends of Kor made fun of Dru and his unit they called it the doom patrol because they were fated to die horribly.
The unit seems to have gathered quite the hostile attention of the Council, they seem to go from one impossible mission to another, always things that should have killed them ten times over, but somehow working together, and through dedication and discipline of the members of his unit, they did not only survive but succeed.
Dru had to be debriefed by the Council after each mission, he could practically see the disappointment of seeing him either succeed at his assigned mission or his survival. Little by little the council had no alternative but to promote him to higher ranks and this of course made some of them happy since they would assign him even more deadly missions.
As he walked through the halls of the Central Council Building, he knew someone was watching him, the halls were largely colorless except for the clean color of white and the green luminous band that went across every single wall, the holographic access band that allow easier access to the central computer and the information stored was one of many inventions Jor-El and Kor-Zod-El did not create but was just as good as one of their inventions they made too bad the council messed with it luckily it was only a copy that they messed with.
He walked towards the Science branch of the central building almost feeling like someone was watching him. It was something that he was always suspicious about. As he walked into the lab he saw the three dots that represented the program that had in fact earned his hatred of it. He saw his brother working on something and he decided to touch him on the shoulder.
"Kor these are the current seismic scans as you asked, I do however wish you would shut that damn thing off permanently. I know you want to perfect it, I say deletion and destruction is the only outcome I would ever approve of, and you know why. This thing will only cause harm as long as it exists."
Kor took the data stick and looked at Dru, "Thank you for the scans brother, there have been a higher number of seismic events than what was expected by Brainiac, I honestly understand why such bitter hatred towards the assisting AI creation. Jor and I do understand why you show such almost deep hatred towards him."
A terminal appeared with the three dots that represented the program Kor was talking about, "That is something I have spent many computation cycles trying to decipher myself, Greeting General Zod, mind answering my query, as to what has prompted such ire directed towards myself?"
Dru wanted to punch the terminal so hard it would break in two, but that would be something that would only delay the study of the data he just handed to his brother, "You want a reason, very well, since this is the anniversary of the ill-fated day that you were created, I shall tell you not one but two reasons. Do you know why it took me this long to deliver that data stick Kor? It is because I have to use public transit to go anywhere since that thing destroyed my personal means of transportation,"
A light chuckle has heard some the terminal and that only made Dru feel even more furious, "Is that the reason for your hatred of me? I conducted independent scans of that vehicle and determined that there was a high probability that it would lead to your demise, General Zod. My attempt to eliminate that vehicle was an honest attempt to protect your life, I fail to see why this single action would earn me so much hatred from the man I was so concerned with that I took it initiative to safeguard your life."
Dru glared at the two upper dots as if they were an eye, "You can lie to my brother, but not me. The day that you attempted to destroy my vehicle you caused the engine to go down into meltdown, It was the day that Faora would take my two daughters for their yearly medical check-up, I had to break open the door of that vehicle with my bare hands, so they could escape and I was stuck inside a hospital for an entire month receiving treatment for Kryptonite Radiation burns. You tried to murder one of my wives and both of my daughters, and even attempt to poison me, and you think this does not deserve my hatred of you!"
The three dots on the terminal turned off and turned back on after a few minutes, "I did not sense any living signs aboard your vehicle, I would have not attempted the destruction of it if I had known. I swear on everything I hold dear, that I spoke no falsehoods, I only attempted to eliminate the vehicle that would cause your demise, General Zod. I am sorry that my mistake in re-checking the sensor data on the vehicle nearly causes the death of three of your family, and cause you such suffering. It was not my intention."
"Now if you will excuse me I need to analyses the data on the current sensor reading you have provided, the report shall be ready for your review in two standard hours, now if you two excuse me I shall begin my task, I shall attempt to be careful ."
The three dots turned dark then the terminal turned back to a normal terminal display, "Kor I don't trust it, I can practically feel the falsehoods that he told us from his forked tongue. But enough of that pest, now for more cheerful and constructive news, how are my two nieces doing lately? Bored out of their skulls I would wager."
Well, my brother if my calculations are correct Krypton only has Five years before it explodes and they are pissed off. Because a pervert stole their panties when they went to take a bath at the public bath in the gym.
I bet they beat the hell out of that little punk who stole their panties
And I still can't believe that you got drunk with your wives and had an orgy with Alura Zor-El and Astra In-Ze and you knocking up Alura Zor-El and Astra In-Ze and your wives didn't mind and in fact both of your wives were happy their two friends gave birth to your daughters
Maybe I should say Alura In-Ze after all you got her pregnant before she married our brother Zor-El a year before they even got engaged you got her pregnant
That reminds me how is your eldest child doing is he still being a good big brother to his little sisters
Oh and our father and mothers are still on Earth they said they won't return until they have been on Earth for 27 years it's only been 17 years since they went to Earth and became Superman power woman and Superwoman so they won't return until 10 years from now but by then if your calculations are right Dru Then Krypton would already be exploded by the time they wanted to come back.
Dru laughed and looked at Kor, "Well you have not visited them in some time, how long was it since you played catch or taught them some close-quarters combat? Kor told Dru not since one of Dru's wives accused him of trying to prepare her child to be recruited into the military. Dru laughed and told him she was only joking.
"The death threat was not something I call amusing, and Dru asked so what does the seismic activity report say?" Kor finished looking over the report given by Brainiac, and he put it on the desk, "Normal tectonic plate activity, tremors within an acceptable range, this isn't right Dru?"
Dru took something from his coat pocket and placed it next to the other report, "Because I asked Alura Zor-El and Jor-El to analyze the sensor scans before even coming here. I still have the original sensor scans, I only gave you an exact copy. so we are correct not to trust that thing, and this finally proved us correct in our assumptions."
"The report I got from Alura Zor-El and Jor-El states that the core is unstable due to what appears to be over mining, it also states that if not corrected the planet is going to have stronger and stronger seismic incidents that could lead to the planet splinting and breaking into pieces. This is a second copy of the sensor data, compare it to the one in your computer, and I believe you will find that the data in your lab has been altered to support that false report."
Kor looked at him and then at the data and it appears he was shocked that Dru's theory was actually correct, "So how long till Krypton no longer is stable and destroys itself?" and please don't tell me that it is 5 years? Dru did not even wait for a second to tell him that at best estimate the planet had five years left. Kor dropped his clipboard almost looked like he was suffering food poisoning, others call it a little green around the gills.
"Five years and our home planet is doomed, what are you planning to do? I know you are not the type to abandon innocent people, so you must have a plan." Dru looked at him and pat him on his back to make him relax.
"One plan? Do you honestly think so little of me, Kor? I happen to have five plans on how to evacuate and none require the council's approval. I considered everything from building a ship to using a miniaturization beam on cities, may Rao forgive me, but I even considered sending shielded cities to a special pocket in the Phantom Zone using a large area Phantom Zone projector."
Kor laughed and looked at Dru for a second realizing he was not joking at all, "The situation must be even worst than what you found in that data if you are considering using the Phantom Zone, and risk exposing innocent citizens to such a place, I think you once suggested that we execute our criminals rather than send them for hundreds of years to the Phantom Zone, something like you considered executions to be more merciful than the one the Council would approve."
Okay Dru the best plans you had for the evacuation of our people would be the shrink ray and the spaceship by combining the two we can save as many people as possible and transport them to Earth.
Kor told Dru in five years from now it will be 1960 on Earth our father and mothers should be able to help us relocate them to a location on Earth that most people won't visit you should go and tell Alura Zor-El and Jor-El what our new plan is and don't forget to have indigo help with that, after all, she is the original version of Brainiac before the council messed with her and is the creation of Alura Zor-El and she is very loyal to our two houses and hates Brainiac herself.
And over the next five years, The ship was constructed in secret, the storage area for the miniaturized cities was under a normal day and night lighting cycle, so the cities that were now the size of a Petri dishes were not even aware that they were no longer on the surface of the planet.
The military had taken care of the entire operation when everyone was asleep and to them, it was just another ordinary day on Planet Krypton. The real shock was when these people were told the fate of their home planet and that they were essentially refugees on a new planet.
The other reason they kept the spectrum to red sunlight is that if they ever found the truth, and they had absorbed enough of the yellow sun similar to the planet they were going to call their home, this causes Kryptonians to develop powers on such a scale that if they panic they could end up causing damage not only to themselves but to the ship.
Dru was working around the clock to make sure the evacuation went as planned, when they were ready to leave Krypton that is when finally the idiots in the council realized that the planet had several cities missing from the surface of the planet and the population had become the size of a small village, meaning only people around where the ones that lived in the city where the council halls and the council members had their homes.
They tried to stop whatever Dru and his brothers had planned by accusing them of high treason, but since Dru was the general of the military so all of the militaries were already on the ship. however, Kor who already came up with an idea had android duplicates of the population pretend to be ordinary citizens and keep the illusion that nothing was happening to buy enough time to carry out their plan, so that could save 3 billion citizens that included Argo Dheron and Thoron.
The ship was not connected to the information network of the planet, but it did have a complete copy of all scientific, medical, and cultural information of the entire civilization. A copy, not the original, had they taken the database the council and more importantly, Brainiac would have found out something was happening.
As the earthquakes began and the streets began to rip apart, mountains began to crumble, the ship finally took off, Dru, Kor, the soldiers, and their families took off from the planet Krypton as they left the planetary system they saw the planet they once called home rip itself apart and then a massive explosion that caused the other colonial planets to suffer the same fate, it was the end of their homeworld, and they knew nothing would ever be the same again.
The ship was somehow equipped with engines that not even Dru knew where Kor came up with the designs for, the trip normally would take several decades, but instead, the trip took a few days. The trip was anything that you would call boring however, the soldiers and their general had to fight in five days more pirates, thieves, and would-be conquerors than they had to do in decades of military service.
Zor simply said it was normal to face such criminal elements going through what essentially was unexplored space for them, but Dru and Kor and Dru's subordinates knew better, these attacks may have not succeeded, but they were coordinated, had Dru and Kor and those that worked on the ship not absorbed yellow sunlight as they traveled through space, the ship would have been destroyed.
Zor called Dru paranoid, but he told his brother that he had this nagging feeling that they had not seen the last of that AI program Dru hated so much, Indigo had to agree that the attacks did have a sort of similarity to what the program she also hated would do, a mental signature if you will that was visible if you took a look at the actions of the criminals that attack the ship. It screamed, that these were the actions of Brainiac.
Dru started to think about his two daughters and his niece that were sent into the future all because of Zor panicking luckily they were sent into the future to Earth pacifically 62 years into the future to Smallville.
