Hello we are back with the finale to my first and last ADJ special, and the first side story to a mains series but there will be more! And here we end the entire special with the epilogue! Enjoy!
Heaven's Shadow Chapter Fourteen: Epilogue
(A Devil's Justice)
As the golden cloud slowly dissolved into nothing, the clear sky gave way to the stars above. Superman, using his Super Vision, gave the group a nod and a smile of confirmation that it was over, they had won. The heroes cheered as a large object slowly descended towards them, a light of darkness surrounding them. Once it touched the ground it dispersed revealing Madama Butterfly, lowering her hand to put down Ragna and the girls.
"WE DID IT!" Ghia'ta cheered, hugging Starfire who ran to tackle her.
"Do you think Sofia survived that?" Ragna asked out loud, rubbing his chin.
"If she did, she'll think twice before fighting us." Bayonetta mused as she turned to the Madama who kneeled down to the group. She kissed her finger and tapped Ragna's cheek, offering a sweet smile and a wink before disappearing.
"...We really won." Ragna muttered, a beaming smile on his lips as Bayonetta tousled his hair.
"We sure did. Well, I'll be going now. Tata heroes." Bayonetta turned her back waving, walking away from the surprised group.
"Wait, you're just leaving?" Ragna asked.
"Yeah, hot stuff, stay here you can celebrate with us." Flash asked, running in front of her with a flower and reappearing back with the others. Bayonetta looked over her shoulder, flashing Ragna a sultry smile.
"As tempting as that sounds, the job is finished and I have no reason to stick around….Unless you want me to stick around." Bayonetta teased, turning around and standing in front of Ragna.
"No. Goodbye. Leave now. Fuck off!" Tala waved with a beaming fake smile, ending it with a middle finger. It was ignored as Ragna stared up at Bayonetta, a small smile on her lips before he rubbed the back of his neck.
"I…I just wanted to say thanks for helping me and Diana get here. We make a pretty good team." Ragna said, smiling up at Bayonetta, only for his eyes to widen when she reached out and patted his head, winking down at him.
"We sure did, and I'm really glad I didn't kill you back in Redgrave."
"Ditto."
"HA…Maybe someday we'll meet again, Little Devil." Ragna pouted with a small glare, shaking his head.
"It's not little devil. It's Ragna…..Ragna Redgrave."
"He's really just gonna keep revealing his identity to people huh?" John groaned, shaking his head.
"Hmm…..No, I don't think we're at that level yet. Maybe when you earn it, I'll call you Ragna." Bayonetta teased, ruffling his hair up more, before tapping his nose.
"See ya around heroes, Diana….Little Devil." Bayonetta whispered as she walked away from the group.
"Wait, we can at least give ya ride." Flash offered, only if it meant getting to flirt with the amazon sized woman.
"...Three."
"Huh?" Ragna asked, noticing Bayonetta hold up three fingers.
"Two…."
"What is she doin?" Crush asked.
"...aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"One." Bayonetta held up her finger, stopping a car from crashing on her, casually dropping it back on the ground. Everyone but Ragna and Diana were shocked and confused, seeing a short fat Italian man in the driver seat shaking in fear.
"About time you arrived Enzo. Job's done, let's head home." Bayonetta ordered, plopping in the side seat.
"...Unbe-fucken-lievable." Enzo cried as he simply started the engine. Bayonetta flashed Ragna one last wink before they drove off, the hybrid watching them go with a small wave.
"See ya around….Bayonetta." Ragna sighed as he turned to Diana who gave him a small smile, patting his shoulder.
"Whew, I can't believe we did it, we won." Jennifer muttered.
"Another glorious victory!" Donna cheered, wrapping her arms around Blackfire and Aya.
"It is a shame we could not bring them to justice." J'onn stated, wishing Sofia and the fanatics had to be destroyed.
"Yeah, even if they were insane they were still human." Superman agreed.
"What we need is more information on this Order and whoever Sofia works for." Batman stated, staring up at the destroyed base.
"Are you seriously focused on that?" Hawkgirl asked.
"He does raise a good point, it would be better if we know of these fanatics and what their next move would be." Aya added.
"Well if you need a quick search I'd be happy to help. Be right back!" With that Flash zoomed right towards the destroyed mountain base. A few seconds passed before the speedster returned with a golden cross in hand.
"Nothing out of the ordinary but I found this cool cross, kind of hot though." Flash muttered, tossing it between his limbs.
"Uh, Flash, you shouldn't be playing with that." Ragna suggested, after dealing with these fanatics enough, he knew anything they had was not to be messed with like it was a toy. Especially a cross that seemed to be radiating holy energy if it was hot to the touch.
"Oh come on, what's the worse I can do?" Flash asked, holding up the cross with a firm grip.
BEEP
"..."
"...I'm sure that was the wind." Flash suggested with a nervous grin, noticing the cross began to glow brighter.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
"Flash!" Several members of the group roared, glaring at the speedster.
BEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEP BEEEP
"Uh….Oops."
"THROW IT!" Ragna grabbed the cross and threw it across the forest.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-!
BA-BOOM
"...RUN!"

Ragna exclaimed, grabbing Ghia'ta by her waist and hoisting her over his shoulder, Tala on his other and running away from the expanding explosion. The heroes cried and screamed as small orbs of golden light fired from the explosion and nearly hit them. An hour later the explosion had already died down after its initial explosion but the heroes had returned to Redgrave, tired and beat from the night they just endured. And yet they couldn't stop but take in the rising sun, and it was one they would take in, for it was a new day they had won.

"A failed job huh?"
"Yeah, turns out this mission was…more exaggerated than you'd think." Bayonetta hummed, drinking her glass that Rodin had made for her. It had been a few hours since she left Redgrave and was now just enjoying the peace. She smiled at the thought of Ragna, such a cute little thing, maybe once he had turned into an adult she could properly thank him….once he earned it of course.
"And you say he was the Son of Sparda huh, haven't heard that name in a while." Rodin mused. He wouldn't tell Bayonetta but he was interested in the kid, it's not everyday you hear that the Blood of Sparda survived all those years ago. Maybe he could offer the kid a job when he got the chance.
"Yeah, and it's a shame too, I was looking forward to getting my memories back….but I'll settle with this." Bayonetta mused, before reaching into her bosom and pulled out the letter directed to her, the bounty for Ragna's head.
"Still, I wonder who was the one who sent the bounty on the Little Devil."
"Sparda had all of Hell on his neck, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Demon, a powerful one at that." Rodin explained.
"Still, I wouldn't mind meeting the one who helped me meet that sweet little Devil." Bayonetta cooed, ripping the paper into pieces.
"Ask….and he shall appear." Bayonetta suddenly felt a cold chill crawl up her spine, that voice…..that was inhuman. And that aura while not insanely strong was…...unnerving. She turned around to the source only to see nothing, looking back she saw that he drink was missing and felt that same aura beside her.
"Quite disappointing, Bayonetta, I expected so much from you. I can't say I am surprised, but still." The voice growled as they sipped at her drink, a large smile on their face.
"Oh well, there's always next time. Consider our contract null void." Bayonetta turned to face the creature, but he was already gone and heading out the door.
"Until next time, Bayonetta." With that the creature was gone, and suddenly the entire bar became less chilly.
"Rodin….what the hell was that?"
"That….That was the King of the Majin."

"GAH!" From the rubble, Sofia ripped from the rocks, her robes tattered and destroyed. She was lucky that the transformation was merely a vessel, that she and the others were lucky that they just split apart once the form exploded. The nail of Christ dissolved and was no longer in her chest, the Nun was bloody and beaten and her allies were just as beaten. She….she had lost, the Son of Sparda and that damn Umbran Witch had beaten her. How much worse could this get?
"My, my, what do we have here. Is that you, Lady Sofia?" The Nun's eyes widened in shock and horror, eyes looking up to see her leader: The Reverend One. Behind him were eight more hooded figures, a shorter one at his side as he stared down at the three defeated Paladins.
"R-Reverend One, wh-hat brings you he-!"
"I had sensed the Nail of Christ had been used, and what do I find when I arrive at another base in Redgrave: The Archangel Factions main base of operations in shambles, the factions leader defeated and groveling at my feet. So answer me this, Sofia: why should I forgive you?" The Reverend One glared down at her, the nun trembling in fear.
"I…..I….I am ever loyal to the Order."
"Hmm…..I suppose you still have your usage…..but first you will be stripped of your title….and face punishment." With the hooded figures behind him walked up grabbing Lero and Aris, slowly making their way towards the crawling Sofia.
"No…No please have mercy! NO! NO!"

Ragna stood in the middle of his tub, letting the warm water wash over and get rid of all the dirt and dried sweat off him. It had been a few hours since they got back to Redgrave, with the Sun slowly rising into the afternoon. After everything they went through he really needed this shower, and yet his mind did drift to the Umbran Witch. Sure they got off the wrong foot, trying to kill each other can do that, and she won't be the last. Still he can't deny they worked so well together, the Madama fusion being proof of that. Maybe Bayonetta had what it takes to be a hero, though he doubted she had the stomach for it.
"Room for three more?" Ghia'ta giggled as she latched onto Ragna's back, the hybrid chuckling only to swallow his own spit once Diana joined him again. The Amazonian smiled down at the hybrid as they all bathed together.
"Well…..I'd say this was a nice step up to what we're used to."
"Like how you walked in on Diana naked?"
"Yeah, or how I was nearly several times in the past couple weeks." Ragna added.
"Is this what's always like for you Ragna? Nearly dying by every unnatural force out there?" Diana asked, washing Ragna's hair.
"Naw, believe it or not, besides New Years, everything was pretty chill." Ragna joked as he washed Ghia'tas' hair.
"And just like every unnatural force he has faced, Ragna has come out triumphant." Ghia'ta cheered.
"Yeah, but I couldn't have done it without you guys." Ragna said with a large grin, Ghia'ta giggling as she hugged Ragna, followed by Diana, the Amazon blushing madly.
"I am just glad this is all over, and those fanatics are gone." Diana said, rubbing Ragna's head.
"It's a shame your guys date was ruined." Ghia'ta pouted, kissing Ragna's chest only to gag a bit once she got some soap on her lips.
"It wasn't….I mean it sucks that the dinner was ruined." Ragna muttered, scratching his cheek.
"Well…we could finish what we started here yesterday." Ghia'ta suggested, leaning up and kissing Ragna. The hybrid was about to interject that the others were outside, but Diana wrapped her arms around the two, bringing them closer into her bosom.
"I mean…..it would be a nice replacement for dinner." Diana suggested with rose-tinted cheeks. Ragna smiled up at the Amazon before pulling her into a side hug, enjoying the warmth the girls offered him.
"Room for one more?" A voice moaned out and before Ragna knew it another pair of arms wrapped around his neck.
"Tala?!" Ragna exclaimed, shocked to see the dark sorceress' arms around him, naked as the others.
"Tala." Diana growled, glaring down at the witch.
"What? You three owe me for not ratting to Diana's annoying little sister about yesterday's shower incident." Tala defended herself, kissing Ragna's ear.
"I KNEW IT!" The shower curtains were flung aside revealing an infuriated Donna with a spear in hand.
"DONNA!" Diana glared at her sister, shielding herself while Tala practically covered Ragna's front side.
"So you were in here yesterday, leeching on my sisters divine innocence!"
"Oh I think that innocence is long gone." Tala teased much to Ragna's fear and nervous boner poking her thighs.
"WHAT?!"
"The hell's going on in here?" Crush asked, the door opening up to reveal the others.
"Oh my." Jennifer blushed covering her mouth.
"OH! Are you Earthlings practicing body cleaning, or Lavishoa in Tamaran." Kori said, smiling at the four in the shower.
"Hmm…it is impressive up close." Koma muttered, staring down at Ragna's manhood.
"...Is this like an orgy or something?" Crush asked.
"I wouldn't mind." Tala moaned.
"TALA!" Ghia'ta and Diana growled, pulling Ragna away from the witch.
"Ragna, you have a call from Green Lantern John Stewart." Aya stated, holding up his communicator.
"KID! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU! THE JUSTICE LEAGUE MEETING IS STARTING RIGHT NOW!" Just because they were captured didn't mean the JL meeting was over, it was just postpone and since it was still the weekend the kid didn't have any choice but to attend.
"Oh they are performing the 'Orgy' in the shower, in the shower." Kori explained with a gigle.
"WHAT?!"
"Nice." Flash and Hawkgirl cheered from the other end.
"Ragna! That is entirely inappropriate to do at a time like this!" Superman reprimanded.
"We'll send pics if you want." Crush offered taking Ragna's phone and taking pictures.
"Ugh…..my life can't be simple, can it?" Ragna asked out loud, before looking between Ghia'ta and Diana, then back at the girls. That frown slowly turned into a smile, letting a few chuckles.
"And I wouldn't have it any other way."

And with one journey ends, another begins. And with this I say farewell to ADJ. I love and always will, but I really gotta keep improving and TMD was the answer. Maybe someday I'll come back and try to finish the ADJ version of the series but who knows. For now the series is over and will be discontinued and all of ADJ's future projects will be moved and morphed into The Marvelous Devil series, which I think will be a breath of fresh air and it's much easier focusing on less things than constantly posting full series (Unless there one shots) and NEVER updating them lol. With that, I thank you everyone who followed this story and I hope you enjoyed it. I got like two more chapters, with the next one being my final thoughts on my first side story and Special for the main series and the final one will be a HUGE review response chapter. With that goodnight/morning and I hope everyone has fun!
