Supergirl hovered above Zod with glowing red eyes consumed by her anger, her hatred, her pain, her loss, and all her rage. Supegirl flew fast to her left, smashing through the gun turrets and unleashing a powerful backhand sending the two kryptonian soldiers flying off the ship and to the ground below.
Before the other kryptonian soldiers could reorientate their gun turrets to face Supergirl she unleashed a powerful heat vision cutting through the turrets creating a small explosion blowing the kryptonian soldiers off the platform.
Zod went to leap at Supergirl but she turned her eyes and her heat vision toward him. Zod blocked the heat vision with his armored gauntlets but the beam had so much force behind it pushed him back. Supergirl's wrathful scream could be heard echoing throughout the skies.
When Supergirl saw the heat vision wasn't cutting it and her eyes started to burn and feel dry she stopped firing and flew hard at Zod punching him so hard she broke the sound barrier as everyone heard the hard hit echo across the sky. Zod twisted across the sky as he violently smacked into the ground tumbling across the dirt. Supergirl rockets toward him at superhuman speed…
When Zod was punched off the ship Faora-Ul ran toward Zod and Supergirl. Flash knew from experience Supergirl couldn't take both so without any hesitation he took off after Faora-Ul. Gen. Swanwick looked toward the gunship seeing the gun turrets taking aim in their general direction.
The General yelled out for everyone to scatter and take cover from the blasts. This time because of what he saw in Barry's vision The General was able to avoid the initial blast and alot less soldiers died. When the dust cleared The General was glaring at the gunship with blood red iris…
The smaller kryptonian ships broke off and began firing at the ground forces. After the first shot was fired the army had already launched their fighter jets to engage but they served as nothing more then distraction fodder for the Kryptonains. Two kryptonian ships engage the fighter jets while the other two went after Supergirl to aid Zod. The Batwing descended from the air flying behind the two ships opening fire upon them…
The Flash saw Zod twirling through the air as he was running hard to catch up to Faora-Ul. The Flash caught up to her in a tenth of a second and shoulder butted her knocking Faora to the ground. Faora-Ul twisted and slid down on one knee pushing off the ground violently pushing The Flash to the ground as he went sliding to the ground.
The Flash moved his whole body so fast he entered Flash-Time where everything around him seemed to almost stop moving with a blue tint to everything with blue lighting sparking all over the place. There was a hint of purple showing his connection to the Speedforce was becoming corrupted.
Even in Flash-Time with everything moving in slow motion around him Faora-Ul was moving at normal speed. Pulling out her kryptonian blade overshadowing The Flash attempting to drive the blade through his chest. The Flash quickly rolled out of the way, getting to his knees before he was overtaken again by Faora-Ul who tried to thrust her blade at him.
The Flash grabbed her wrists to try and push her back but he could not overpower her and was forced back. The Flash stumbled back with Faora-Ul inches from him. The Flash kept backing up, twisting and dodging out of the way of the blade with his eyes wide in horror at her raw speed that was nearly able to match his.
Without the shrapnel-like blade he had before he could not kill Faora-Ul, and she was too fast for him to get away from. Infact it was taking everything The Flash had to avoid all her fatal thrusts. Out of desperation since he could not overpower her he grabbed her wrist twisting to the side of her body then grabbed the blade phasing it out of her hand.
Faora-Ul grabbed The Flash by the back of his neck flinging him across the battlefield and into the ground. As soon as The Flash hit the ground he dropped the blade. The Flash quickly got up grabbing the blade but Faora-Ul was already on top of him. The Flash phased through her getting to his feet twisting around as did Faora-Ul. When she did The Flash phased the blade through the bottom of her mouth and up her skull into her brain.
The Flash was breathing hard watching Faora-Ul see through breathing mask phase in and out with her eyes rolling behind her head and her entire body twitching. The Flash pulled the blade out watching Faora-Ul body hit the ground.
The Flash stepped back looking around remembering Supergirl fighting Zod. The Flash see's Zod smacking into the ground in slow motion with Supergirl in a descent flight toward him, with two ships behind her and behind them the Batwing giving chase.
The Flash was about to race over when Bruce's words echoed in the back of his head about the plan going to crap and knowing each other's roll to get the plan back on track. The battle plan had already gone to crap. The gunship was still active, Supergirl was fighting Zod which was too soon but given what they found out about Kal-El, The Flash understood.
Infact the only thing that went according to plan was The Flash taking down Faora-Ul which means he didn't have to worry about Zod and Faora-Ul ganging up on Supergirl. As much as he hated it, The Flash needed to stick to the plan and play his part and take down the next big threat.
The Flash looked around the battlefield but didn't see Nam-Ek but he did see the soldiers trying in vain to fight the Kryptonains. They needed an edge, they needed the Kryptonian weapons to even the odds. The Flash ran past a Kryptonain soldier who cut his face last time. This time The Flash ducked, sliding the double blade strike as kryptonian dropped the beam rifle.
The Flash kicked off the ground and ran his blade through the throat skull of the Kryptonian soldier bringing him to the ground. The Flash grabbed the beam rifle running it into the hands of a random soldier yanking his M-4 Assualt rifle from his hand. Then the Flash saw a soldier on the ground about to get shot by a Kryptonain soldier so he ran over running the Kryptonian blade through the heart of the Kryptonian soldier.
The Flash tossed the body to the ground picking up the soldier then adjusting his arms putting the beam rifle in his hands. Next The Flash zipped around the battlefield stabbing another Kryptonian soldier in the face, catching his beam rifle running it into the hands of another soldier and kept running as the lighting built up around him like a net.
The Flash ran around a tank looking for Nam-Ek not paying attention and saw a bright beam heading toward him. The Flash slid to the ground ducking the massive blast sliding across the ground quickly getting back to his feet to see a Kryptonian soldier standing a few feet away firing again. The Flash smiled, leaping over the beam about to hurl lightning at him when the Kryptonian soldier looked up, slightly adjusted his hand position and fired another beam.
The Flash was mid-air, his eyes wide when he saw he would not be able to dodge. He tried to phase but he never phased mid-air before and he was unable to fully phase through the beam. As soon as his feet hit the ground he stopped phasing and the right side of his face and mask took the full brunt of the beam hurling him back into the ground knocking him out of Flash-Time and horrible burning sensation covered the right side of his face as well as blinding him in his right eye.
The Flash hit the ground, dropped the blade and screamed out in pain and rage. Time resumed at its normal pace for The Flash unaware that Supergirl slams into Zod as he is tumbling across the ground.
Supergirl drags Zod across the ground screaming delivering one sound breaking punch after another over and over again screaming at him in rage before twisting him around and hurling him across the battlefield to keep him disorientated before giving chase.
Supergirl grabs Zod, lifting him up in the air and tosses him across the sky then flies at him at super speed, punching him clear across the battlefield. Then she flew up in the air dodging beams from the ships flying low using the hills and canyon as cover. Supergirl then came to an immediate stop flying high into the sky with the ships flying past her.
The Batwing flew in between them spear hooking both and like in Flash-Point Batman let loose the cable as it got stuck on a small mountain hill whipping both the Kryptonian ships around crashing into each other in a blue flaming explosion. The Batwing flew up twisted in the air and flew back toward the battlefield.
"Two more to go." Batman said.
Supergirl floated in the air scanning for Zod and as soon as she saw him she flew straight at him with all her rage. Across the battlefield The Flash was rolling on the ground using his right hand to cover his right face feeling the burn, the smell of burning flesh, and his healing factor kicking in to heal. The Flash eyes the Kryptonian soldier who wounded and disfigured the right side of his face aiming his beam rifle at him.
"NO!" The Flash yelled.
Red lighting streaked across the battlefield as a Man in a Yellow and red Flash suit in the same design of the older Barry's Flash suit vibed his hand through the Kryptonian and killed him tossing the rifle at the feet of a random soldier to use. The Flash looked up and saw him turn around looking down at him with a smug look. When the Man in Yellow and The Flash saw each other they entered Flash-Time as everything around them slowed to a crawl.
"Thawne!" The Flash said in a dark voice.
"Like I said before, if anyone is going to kill you Flash, it's going to be me!" The Reverse-Flash made a fist and pointed his thumb at himself.
The Flash got to one knee pulling back his bloody hand. The Reverse-Flash saw the right side of The Flash's mask had been burned away and the right side of his face had healed but was horribly scarred. The Reverse-Flash gave The Flash a curious look.
"Interesting…pizza face you got there Flash." The Reverse-Flash mocked.
"What do you want Thawne?" The Flash demanded.
"Like I told you before, the future is harder to change then you realize. What will happen is going to happen. You can only delay the inevitable. Then time will correct itself." The Reverse-Flash warned him.
"What?" The Flash snapped at him.
"Example last time you got the left side of your face cut. You defied Time's design and in doing so Time had to correct the course of events. Now the right side of your face is burned and scarred instead of having a cut across the left." Reverse-Flash explained.
"What do you want Thawne?" The Flash demanded.
"To help you." The Reverse-Flash answered walking over to The Flash holding out his hand to him. The Flash just glares at The Reverse-Flash.
"Why?" The Flash demanded.
"Because today I get to be the hero Flash!" The Reverse-Flash told him…
