"Team 2 arriving at the Observatory site" said Leon.
"Hound Wolf and Los Vaqueros are to hang back while myself, Kennedy, Alejandro and Rodolfo plant the explosives in the bunker." saif Ghost.
"Farah and Alex should arrive soon, so as soon as we blow the place sky high, we all regroup with Price and Team 1" said Leon.
"Affirm. Gas masks on, possible remnants of Nova 6 could be inside the bunker." said Ghosts.
The entrance to the bunker was more cavernous than anticipated.
"Definitely setted up shop here" said Leon.
"You think anything could still be down here?" asked Rodolfo
"If you see any zombies, aim for the head. It's your best bet" said Leon.
"Anything else?" asked Alejandro.
"Don't let em scratch or bite ya"
"Hey! Stay sharp, approaching main bunker entrance" said Ghost
Ghost, Leon, Alejandro and Rodolfo all put gas masks on, prepped C4 and headed inside.
"Start planting C4 here at the entrance, with any luck, it'll bring down the cave blocking the entrance here." ordered Ghost.
"We should split up and cover more ground faster with planting explosivs, we all meet back here when it's done" said Leon.
"Good idea. Rudy, vamos" said Alejandro.
"Good call Kennedy. Rudy, Alejandro, follow the gas, the stronger it is, the closer you should be" said Ghost.
"Let's move" said Leon
The teams followed the trail of Nova 6 gas leaking towards its source of containment. But however, both teams couldn't shake the feeling that something was nearby.
Alejandro and Rodolfo reached their side of the Nova 6 gas containers leftover from the Siege.
"Ghost, Leon, we found some containers" said Alejandro
"Good, plant the charges and meet back at the RV point"
"Copy"
Alejandro and Rudy plant their explosives onto the contained gas.
"To think if this gets to Las Almas" said Rodolfo.
"Oye! Don't think like that hermano. That's why we're here destroying this stuff." said Alejandro.
The C4 was planted and armed, ready for detonation.
"Alright, let's go"
A low growl was heard.
Rodolfo quickly aimed his gun
"*in Srpanish* The hell?"
"We're not alone. Ghost, we're heading back to the RV point, be advised, something else is here with is hermanos"
"Copy that Alejandro, we'll keep an eye out" said Leon.
"Let's wrap this up quickly then yeah?' asked Ghost.
Leon and Ghost followed their trail of the gas which was in a larger amount, appearing to head straight for the source.
"So, back at the base, Jill" said Leon trying to make small talk.
"What about her?" asked Ghost
"She kicked your ass too?" asked Leon.
"She was formidable. More than I initially expected."
"She used to be a cop after all. Different unit in the RPD. Special Tactics And Rescue Service." explained Leon.
"I don't buy that. Her fighting style, her training, all screams Delta Force at the very least. No wonder Redfield chose her for Hound Wolf." said Ghost.
"I'm telling ya, after the mansion incident, chief of police had her indefinitely suspended after she and the rest of her team that survived had a suspicion of fowl play after they tried exposing the whole ordeal." said Leon.
"Sounds like that police chief was in someone's pocket" said Ghost.
"He was alright." said Leon.
"Always corruption in the force. Cleary you had the right idea not to trust them after Raccoon City." said Ghost.
"More like I chose a better career path to fight bioterrorism."
"And that's where the DSO came in?"
"More or less"
"Leon, what's your sit-rep?" asked Chris.
"Planting the explosives now. Should have this wrapped up soon" said Leon
"What's the situation in the city?" asked Ghost.
"Infected are everywhere, we're buying Price and Soap time while they go after Makarov" said Jill.
"Hang tight. Soon as we finish, the sooner we can arrive with reinforcements, Ghost out"
Leon and Ghost quickly plant the C4 and start heading back to Rodolfo and Alejandro.
"Ghost to Alejandro, we're on our way to the RV point. How copy?"
All was heard was gunfire.
"They need help. Double time it Kennedy."
They both sprinted to the louder and louder sounds of gunfire as they approach Alejandro and Rodolfo fighting some kind of monster.
"The hell?!" asked Leon aiming his gun.
The monster appeared to be not the normal zombie but a monster with no eyes, sharp teeth and tendrils coming from its back.
"Some kind of new BOW" said Leon opening fire.
"GO GO GO!" shouts Ghost as the four bailed out to the entrance.
"We got a hostile BOW in these tunnels after us, Hound Wolf, Vaqueros, standby put down this fucker!" said Leon.
"Tundra here, lead it outside and we'll mow it down"
"Rog Tundra, We're Oscar Mike" said Ghost
The four managed to run back up topside with the BOW still on their tails.
"NOW SHOOT IT!" shouts Ghost.
"OPEN FIRE!" shouts Tundra as Hound Wolf and Los Vaqueros rained gunfire on the BOW essentially showing it with bullets as it goes down.
Leon detonates the C4 causing the observatory bunker to cave in.
"Bravo 0-7 to Hunnigan, target is destroyed how copy?"
"Copy that 0-7. Be advised, Farah and Echo 3-1 are arriving on your location." said Hunnigan.
The chopper lands with Alex and Farah stepping out with Rebecca.
"We saw that from 3 klicks away." said Alex.
"What's the status on the vaccine?" asked Leon.
"The data was enough to make the counter gas and is being prepped for airborne release. Only problem is, a nuke is being prepped first and it's heading towards the city" explained Rebecca.
"Shepherd..." said Ghost.
"Exactly. We're trying to buy some time before the missile heads for the city. Problem is though, we only have a few hours before it hits at the literal crack at dawn." explained Alex.
"Fuckin hell...Price this is Ghost. We have a problem"
