(Many Years Ago)
Within Sunagakure, Rasa staggers as his Gold Dust holds him to keep him from falling. The man that injured him is this blond challenger with the Roran survivors behind him. Cheering for him. He is Queen Sara's loyal shinobi. The queen begged Suna for her and her people to be given a home in this village when their kingdom was destroyed during the Third Shinobi War. However, the Kazekage disappeared with Sasori and may have been assassinated by the missing-nin. Suna's greatest shinobi and likely next Kazekage Rasa refused to house them and threaten to have them killed if they don't leave.
That is when Sara's ninja stepped up and challenge Rasa to a battle. If Rasa wins, they will leave and travel through the desert but if he wins, the Roran survivors will have a home in the Hidden Sand Village. Rasa arrogantly believed he would kill this unknown shinobi and personally kicked out !ueen Sara before becoming the Fourth Kazekage. Now he is injured and weakened while this stranger has no injuries or wounds. Angered by this embarrassment, Rasa's Gold Dust launches towards this challenger. Only to reply with multiple hand signs.
"Magnet Style: Dust Attraction!" The Challenger holds his hand out and all of the Gold Dust moves by itself. It hovers over his hand then proceeds to disappear as an orb begins to form. It has a golden hue to it. As if the Gold Dust was absorb into this orb.
"This is for Gaara. Gold Rasengan!" Unable to defend himself, Rasa is struck by the golden orb and he falls with a hole in his chest. As he dies, he only has one question:
"Who..?" Rasa, who was meant to become the Fourth Kazekage, dies in the sand. The villagers and shinobi of Suna look at their strongest ninja's body shocked while Roran survivors cheer at this victory. Sara runs to the victor and kisses him. After that, she steps to everyone and speaks.
"We have won the challenge. That means Suna shall be our new home. We promise to help and contribute to our village."
An Suna elder steps forward and questions her. "But what about the Kazekage? Rasa was our strongest ninja and we don't have anyone near his power! We don't have a leader or protector!"
"Then let me be Kazekage. I promise to lead Sunagakure as if I was born and raised here!" The victor of this fight speaks and everyone looks at eachother. Being Kazekage means being the strongest of Suna and he has won. Plus the Shinobi War is still going on and they need leadership.
Sara steps forward and points at her shinobi and love. "Then as Queen of Roran, I declare Naruto Uzumaki as the Fourth Kazekage!"
"NARUTO!"
"NARUTO!"
Naruto looks around at the cheering crowd. He is handed the Kazekage robes and puts them on. He maybe trapped in the past but now he knows he can fix it for the better.
Boruto steps out of his new house in his old black and pink stripe jacket. He puts his forehead protector on then wave his arms up.
"Time for the next Time Patrol!"
He flies away while waving at his neighbors. Some are Saiyans, Namekians, and other races. All waving back at Trunks' new partner.
The Time Patroller lands at the Time Nest and sees Trunks and Chronoa.
"Good morning guys. Had a good night?"
"Yeah, it was a good nap." Trunks said with Chronoa nods as she stretches.
"Best sleep I had in centuries." She comments and Boruto claps.
"So what is the next mission?" Boruto said and notices both Chronoa and Trunks looking worried.
Trunks puts down a time scroll and Boruto watches the change to his timeline.
It shows Goku being surrounded by two giant apes with his allies unconscious or dead. Even his Kaio-Ken is no match for them.
"This is the Saiyan Attack on Earth. Goku takes on and defeats my father and Nappa but not here." Trunks explains and Boruto notices that there is someone on top of one of the rock pillars.
"Do you want to take this mission?" Chronoa looks concern at Boruto and he waves it off.
"Come on guys! I got this!"
Trunks nods and takes the scroll. "The Saiyans are a tough species. Especially these two. If father or even Nappa where to attack your planet, they would wipe everyone out. Even if your father and sensei fought him."
Boruto takes that information and gives them a thumbs up.
"Never underestimate an Uzumaki. We do the impossible."
In a rocky wasteland, Nappa shrugs off any pain he got from these so-called defenders. The only survivors he and his Saibamen has laid waste to is that Namekian, Half-Saiyan, and tiny bald guy. On top of one of the many rock pillars is Vegeta, getting rather bored on this slaughter.
"Nice try weaklings! Now die!" Nappa charges at them when Vegeta's scooter picks up another power level. Boruto lands in front of the team and Nappa and delivers the Saiyan a uppercut. Only knocking a few feet.
"Whoa! Who is that?" Gohan wonders who is this mysterious man. Piccolo recognizes who this is.
"He is an ally. He helped me and Goku against Raditz." Piccolo's explanation has Krillin breath a sigh of relief.
"That sounds good."
Boruto gets into a combat stance while Nappa doesn't look hurt. His eyes glows red and a dark energy surrounds his body. The Mid-Class Saiyan has a sinister smile when he pulls out seeds from his pockets and proceed to slam them to the ground.
"Alright Kyukonmen! Come out and rip these punks apart!" Nappa shouts and golden Saibamen come out of the soil.
"Kyukonmen? But Nappa didn't have any of those seeds!" Trunks is shocked as to how he has those. Boruto finds himself surrounded. "Be careful Boruto. They are each twice as strong then a Saibaman."
Piccolo grabs Boruto's attention. "Listen, we will take on Nappa. Focus on the Kyukonmen!"
"Right!" Boruto flies upwards and the Kyukonmen follow him. Leaving Earth's protectors to Nappa.
Vegeta watches Boruto grab a Kyukonman's fist and slam it to another. However, another is able to slash at his back and three others begin to latch onto him.
"Hmph! Looks like the Kyukonmen are working perfectly. Perhaps I should kidnap that human that gave us those seeds and force her to tell us how she made them." Vegeta thinks to himself.
A giant explosion rings in the air and Boruto begins to fall with the Kyokonmen following him. Another grabs and is about to self destruct but notices it is holding another. The explosion destroys both of them. Boruto substitute with the Kyokonman and he grabs the last one and throws it towards Vegeta. The Saiyan Prince nonchalantly points at him, blowing it up.
Boruto takes deep breathes. That is when he hears Piccolo screaming. The Namekian has just protected Gohan from Nappa's blast. Gohan watches Piccolo collapse while Nappa gloats at the dying Piccolo.
"Ha! How pathetic." Nappa looks down and finds Boruto right in front of him with two Rasengans in both hands.
"Double Rasengans!" Boruto slams them into Nappa, destroying his armor and sending him a couple of feet.
Now the Mid-Class Saiyan is getting anger. "You are going to join them Earthling!"
"You will pay for that!" Boruto said with anger as well. Seeing him mercilessly murder Piccolo is reminding him of what Urashiki did to Sasuke and Naruto. Boruto goes for a punch but Nappa sidesteps and slams his fists to Boruto's back. That is when he disappears in smoke and is suddenly a log.
"What the- Where did he go?" Nappa is confused and has a 'realization.' "Or was he not here the whole time?"
Boruto suddenly appears behind Nappa and kicks him away.
"Nope! There he is!"
Nappa gets up and raises his fingers, creating a giant explosion. Engulfing Boruto into it. The blast destroys his clothes, leaving Boruto in only pants. Nappa rushes at him to finish when Krillin and Gohan suddenly punches him to protect Boruto.
Vegeta looks at the battle and finds Goku at the stone pillar next to him.
"Dad!" "Goku!"
Gohan and Krillin are all happy to see Goku.
"So you are Kakarot. Know that when you die low class, your friends and planet are next." Vegeta gets into his stance and Goku does the same.
"Please help him guys! I'll take his partner!"
"Partner?!" Vegeta is insulted. "He is my subordinate fool!"
"Wait, I thought we were-" Nappa is a little hurt by Vegeta's words but Boruto's uppercut hurts him more. He jumps back and lands next Gohan and Krillin.
Boruto takes a deep breath and rips off what remnants of his shirt and begins doing multiple handsigns. He looks at his new teammates and pleads with them.
"Protect me! I am going to try a new technique but need time!"
Both Gohan and Krillin nod and charge at Nappa. Every punch and kick they perform, the Saiyan merely dodges and blocks any strike. Nappa kicks Krillin and grabs Gohan by the throat. The Time Patroller's hands are becoming blurs with every sign he is making. Lightning begins coursing through his body as sounds of chirping birds goes out.
Meanwhile, Vegeta and Goku clash into eachother but Vegeta's superior power is certain when he slams Goku to ground. He proceeds to mock the so-called low class Saiyan.
"What's the matter Kakarot?! Is this the best you can do? You might as well just because you cannot even hurt-"
"Kaioken!" Red energy burst from Goku which amplifies his strength and powers.
"Kaio-what? AAHH!" Vegeta is punched and slam into a pillar. "This. Proves. Nothing!"
Gohan grunts in pain when Nappa throws him under him. Nappa proceeds lifts his boot.
"Time to see crush you like a space watermelon!"
Boruto raises his fist with all the lightning goes into his hand. He is suddenly in front of the Saiyan and slams his fist through Nappa's chest. All of the lightning within his fist electrocutes Nappa. Screaming in pain, he recklessly punches Boruto. But he refuses to stop.
"Chidori!" Boruto shouts and unleashes his sensei's jutsu. Nappa just keeps punching until his fist turn to ash and so does he. Boruto collapses, exhausted and in so much pain. Not just from Nappa but also the side effect of using the Chidori. His arm's muscles are pulsing. He takes out a Capsule Corp capsule and eats a Senzu Bean in it. All of the pain disappears but he notices the battle isn't over yet.
"AAHH!" Vegeta shouts with rage and flies up in the air. He then clasps his hands together and aims at Goku.
"DIE WITH THE REST OF YOUR PATHETIC WORLD! Galick Gun-"
"Oh no!" Goku can tell this attack will destroy the world if it hits and so he clasps his hands together and charge. "Ka-me-ha-me-"
"FIRE!"
"HA!"
Both of them fire their strongest attacks and they clash. The beams struggle with each other.
Boruto can see someone at one of the pillars close to Goku summoning an icicle in their hands. Without thinking, Boruto flies towards them and grabs the icicle being launched. He drops it and glares at this masked assassin. The mask, the hair, the ice jutsu, it can only mean one person.
"Haku. You were brought here too?"
Haku removes his mask and shows his face to Boruto, proving he was right. "You look like Naruto Uzumaki. I don't know how but my mission is clear: Take out Son Goku and heal my master. Forgive me..."
Putting his mask back on, with a single hand sign giant mirrors surround Boruto into a barrier. This makes Boruto smirk at the many Haku reflections.
"You think you trapped me with you?" Boruto seems to take every senbon needle hitting his body. Haku moves from one reflection to another, trying to strike him. However, his body is surrounded in ki so it can't pierce his body and merely bounces off it. Boruto sees Haku dash again about to enter another mirror only to receive a clothesline, causing the ice ninja to fall. "You are trapped here with me!"
Haku gets up as his mask breaks apart. "I must defeat you for Master Zabuza. I pray you make it to the afterlife."
With a different hand sign, more mirrors appear and reform into buzzsaws. They launch towards Boruto and he barely dodges with one of them grazing his arm. This shows that his ki barrier won't work and this Haku is different from the one his father fought.
'He told me that Haku despised killing. But this one is going for it!' Boruto thinks to himself as he forms a Rasengan and goes to the mirror Haku just entered. He smashes it in to pieces but he jumped at the last minute and entered another one.
Vegeta is already gloating at his clear victory. His Galick Gun is beginning to push back Goku's Kamehameha.
"How does it feel Kakarot?! Die to a Saiyan Elite!"
Goku grunts in pain as he is being push back. This attack will not just kill him but also his planet. He will protect it and he knows how to.
"Kaio-Ken..."
"...No..."
"Times...
"No. No. No!"
"Four!" Goku's power bursts and enlarges his Kamehameha. Destroying the Galick Gun and going towards Vegeta.
"NONONONO!" Vegeta is consume by the blast and is sent flying in the air. "FFFFUUUU-"
Haku watches from his mirror and sees Vegeta go up into the clouds. 'My mission has failed.'
"Rasengan!" Distracted, Boruto slams his palm into Haku and breaks through the mirror with Haku in it.
The Ice Ninja is launched out of his mirror prison and lands on the ground, clutching his stomach. The mirrors break as Boruto walks out of it. Seeing Goku win the beam struggle gives Boruto a sigh of relief. He sees Haku's hand move and he gets into a fighting stance.
'What the hell? His stomach should be punctured. How is he getting up?' Boruto thinks to himself as Haku stands up. His kimono is shredded so he should see his stomach but he doesn't. It is ice instead. "I get it now. You encased your upper body in ice under your clothes."
"That is correct Boruto Uzumaki. It is a new technique I have been working on. I call it Frost Armor."
"Frost Armor..." Boruto mutters to himself and feels something wrong. Or rather, it is something he can't feel. He raises the hand he used to strike at Haku and finds his entire hand in ice.
"Not only is it a protective armor but anything that touches it will be freezed." Haku explains his new ability. A portal opens behind him and he starts to back away.
"Let us meet again Boruto Uzumaki. Master Zabuza wants to be the one to defeat you. So I will leave for now."
But Boruto has questions. "Wait! But how are you here? You should be dead. What happen to Sasuke? Naruto? The Wave Village?!"
"Those questions will be answered if you defeat my master. Farewell Uzumaki-san." Haku disappears with the portal.
Boruto clutches his hand infused in ice and slams it to the ground, breaking it apart but saving his arm.
Chronoa speaks up. "Come back Boruto. I promise we will find out how those two came back."
"Haku. Zabuza Momochi. I promise to defeat you and find out how you are here."
