Summary: When Abraham forgets to take care of Tinkles, he ends up in a very sloppy situation. Will he survive this nightmare.
This episode is the parody of the episode: I Was A Teenage Gary.
One morning, Tinkles was going for a walk, to which Dennis was holding onto his leash. "Exercise time is over.", Dennis said, "We don't want you getting too thin.".
Soon, Dennis pulls out a big red rubber ball. "Here, boy.", Dennis said, "Catch!". As Tinkles was going to get the ball, Dennis took a few minutes by reading one of his favorite Mighty Monster comics.
Eventually, Tinkles came back with the ball. "Good job, Tinkles!", Dennis said, congratulating his pet dog. Soon, the two went back inside the hotel, but as they are about to have a peaceful day in their room, Winnie barges in.
"Zing!", the werewolf pup said, "Are you ready? Are you ready? Are you ready?", she asked in a singsong matter. "Ready for what?", Dennis asked, to which Winnie said that it's the day of the annual 'Human Monster Philanthropic Festival'.
But unfortunately, Dennis said, "You mean THIS weekend?!", realizing that it was indeed on that date. "I can't go.", Dennis said, "Cebause, I don't have anyone to take care of Tinkles.".
Suddenly, there was a knock on Dennis' door, and when he opened it, it was revealed to be Abraham. "Would you please stop leaving your toys all over my room.", the senior citizen said to Dennis, to which the little boy said, "Papa Abraham, would you mind taking care of Tinkles for me?".
"What's a Tinkles?", Abraham said, to which Dennis said it's not a what, it's a who, specifically the dog. "Say hello.", Dennis said, to which Tinkles just stared at Abraham and drooled.
"Ew.", Abraham said, disgusted by the dog's slobber, "You actually care for that thing.". "I love Tinkles.", Dennis said, to which Abraham said that he doesn't, and to find someone else to take care of him. But when Dennis told Winnie, that they won't be going away after all, Abraham soon changed his mind.
"You mean,", Abraham said, "If I watch Tinkles, you two and the rest of your family will be gone for the whole weekend?". "Actually, a three day weekend.", Dennis corrected, to which Abraham said, "As in not here for three days?".
"Yeah, but we understand if you don't wanna do it.", Dennis said, with Winnie adding that the three of them can have their own festival in Abraham's room. "I changed my mind!", Abraham said, "I'll do it.".
"Great!", Dennis said, "Let me teach you about taking care of a pet.". As Dennis was guiding Abraham to the kitchen in his bat form, Abraham wasn't listening to Dennis' instructions as he thought, "Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A three day weekend.".
After Dennis showed Abraham how to feed Tinkles, a bus arrived at the hotel. "The bus is here!!", Winnie screamed, as she and the rest of the werewolf pups enter the bus. Soon, the rest of the monsters and humans went onto other buses, with Winnie sitting next to Dennis.
"Where's my great grandfather?", Ericka asked, to which Dennis said that he's going to be taking care of Tinkles. "Don't forget my instructions, okay?", Dennis said, and Abraham said, "I have the mind of an elephant. I'll take good care of Scruffy!".
"It's Tinkles!", Dennis reminded him, to which Abraham said, "Whatever.". However it was actually revealed that Abraham would be sunbathing, and totally forgot about Tinkles.
Three Days Later
Abraham was still sunbathing, until he noticed the buses coming back from the festival. "Why are they back so early?", Abraham wondered, until he realized that today is Monday, and when he looked at the hotel window, he noticed Tinkles all frail.
"The dog!", Abraham said with shock, "I forgot about the dog!". Abraham frantically wheeled back into the hotel, and noticed Tinkles lying on the ground.
Thinking of a way to fix this mistake, Abraham took out some dog food, and he tries to use a shovel to feed him. "Eat, eat, eat!", Abraham panicked, "You need to eat this food!".
Abraham realized that Dennis would be upset if he sees Tinkles like this, so without even thinking, he gobbled down all of the dog food. "Hey, Papa Abraham.", Dennis said, "We're back!".
"Oh...", Abraham said, "You're back?". He was panicking, as he all stuffed full of dog food, and mumbled, "Me and Dimples were having fun.".
"Okay,", Dennis said, "But where is he?". Tinkles soon went up to Dennis, and he was wheezing and coughing. "Tinkles!", Dennis said, as he went over to his puppy. "What happened!?", he cried, "Papa Abraham, something is wrong with Tinkles!".
Now feeling guilty, Abraham knew that he should call the hotel's veterinarian, Dr Gillman.
When the vet soon arrived, he told the two, "Just as I thought, this is definitely a rottweiler.". "You heard that, Papa Abraham?", Dennis cried, while hugging the senior citizen, "He's a rottweiler!".
"A good shot of this canine plasma,", Gillman continued, "Will turn him back to his normal self.". "Aren't you going to do it, doctor?", Dennis asked. "No,", Dr Gillman said as he leaves, "I'm a bit squeamish.".
As Abraham was going to lead the doctor out, Dennis said, "I can't give Tinkles the plasma, I'm squeamish too. And besides,", he continued, "I can't play with sharp objects.". "Might as well, do everything myself!", Abraham said, as he grabbed the needle.
"Okay, do it gently.", Dennis said, but ever time Abraham tried to give Tinkles the plasma, Dennis keeps telling him that he's doing it too hard or too fast. "Ow!", Dennis soon said, realizing that Abraham has given Dennis the plasma in his arm.
"Uh... You just gave me the plasma.", Dennis said, but Abraham argued, "Well, you were in the way!". While the two were arguing, Tinkles goes to his water dish, and gargled. "He just needed water?!", Abraham said, to which he now wants to go home and throw up.
"What's going to happen to me, I kinda feel funny.", Dennis tried to say, but Abraham said that he will be just fine.
That night, Dennis and his family are eating dinner. "So, what did the vet say?", Mavis asked, to which Dennis said, "Tinkles will be just fine, he just needed to...". Suddenly, he stopped and noticed Tinkles' food dish, goes over to it, and eats from it.
"Son! Why are you eating dog food?", Mavis asked, to which Dennis said, "Oh, sorry.", and adding that he couldn't help himself. "Maybe you should go to bed.", Johnny said, but as Dennis tried to walk, he was now walking on his feet and hands.
"What's up with Dennis?", Johnny said, with Mavis adding, "He thinks he's a dog or something.". Suddenly, there was a scream coming from Dennis in his room, and when Johnny and Mavis opened the door, they knew that something was wrong indeed.
While Abraham was trying to sleep, there was a knock on the door. "Dennis for the last time, you are fi... yi... yi... yine!", Abraham tried to say, as he now noticed Dennis, who is now a golden retriever puppy.
"What's going on?", Ericka asked, who woke up from Abraham panicking. "What have I done?!", Abraham said, looking at the needle, "This is all your fault!". "What's going on, great grandpa.", Ericka asked to which he told her the truth.
"How could you?!", Ericka said, to which they now have to barricade the door and windows, but Dennis managed to get in, and cause a ruckus. "Phew,", Ericka said, wiping her brow, "Glad that's over, right?". But Abraham soon realized that he got the needle in his arm. "Uh-oh.", he and Ericka said.
Soon, Tinkles, Dennis, and Abraham, who is now a bulldog, are outside barking to the song 'Thriller Night', with a full moon. "Will you be quiet?!", Winnie said, as the barking disturbed her sleep, and belted Abraham with a shoe.
