Time pass as the boy grew as the time he spend with Godzilla he was exposed to his radiation had somehow eradicate a fever he had once.
Not only that but it also made me immune to other diseases and poisons both natural and man made. It also had another side effect.
He inherited some of his abilities such as his atomic breath and his ability to breathe underwater.
As he grew he took the name of Kai as a short for Kaiju as Godzilla taught him how to use his atomic breath and abilities as they grew to a father and son relationship as Kai enjoys his time with Godzilla.
But then one morning he woke up and saw that Godzilla was gone he thought he was gone out to feed in the ocean so he decides to go exploring around the Temple.
As he goes looking for Godzilla he gets caught in a whirlpool and he soon got up to the surface as he saw the clouds grew dark as a giant wave came and hit Kai as he soon was got hit with in the head with a piece of rock and everything fade to black.
Days later a fisherman was out fishing.
As he was hauling in his net in he was shock to see a boy entangled in his nets and he was unconscious he soon got the boy out the net and soon got his boat started and headed for home as he was trying to figure out what to do with the boy.
Soon Kai woke up and he was inside a house of some kind.
Then the fisherman came up to him with some food.
"Easy kid your alright and safe." The Fishermen said.
Kai looks at him confused and took the pate and started eating the food.
"What your name?" Fishermen asked.
Kai stopped eating and looked at the Fishermen.
"You First." Kai said.
"So you can speak." The Fishermen said.
"Yes I can talk, read and write from books I found from shipwrecks now who are you?" Kai asked.
"Very well I'm Shaw Quint and who are you boy?" Shaw asked.
"Kai, Son of Gojira also known as Godzilla." Kai said.
"Well that explains the dorsal plates on your back and the gills on your neck." Shaw said as Kai's dorsal plates reseed back into his back.
"Where am I?" Kai asked.
"In my home in Auradon." Shaw answered before continuing "I found you out in the ocean you were entangle in my nets so why are you out there?"
"I was looking for my father Godzilla but I caught in the storm and what is this Auradon you speak of?" Kai asked.
Well it's a kingdom where all the heroes live and across the water is the Isle of the Lost where the villains live tell you what kid I'll help you look for your dad there's a spare room upstairs for you if you are willing to help me with work and help with the fishing trips and help at market." Shaw said before continuing. "I also can help you more with life of civilized society what do you say?"
Shaw offers his hand to Kai as he thought for a moment and he took as they shook hands.
"Deal." Kai said.
Over some months Shaw have taught Kai the basics of being a fisherman and he was great help with the catches as Shaw was also true to his word he help Kai looking for Godzilla but they searched across some of the sea while on fishing trips and found no traces of him.
As for Kai, Shaw taught him some basic of civilized techniques like how to eat with a fork, knife and spoon and better his reading and writing capabilities and the understanding of money and also taught the boy how to fight with hands and a Kanata he give the boy.
But Shaw also made Kai promises that to never show his gills or dorsal plates along with any of his abilities he inherited from Godzilla out in public and keep it a secret because he believe if the world found out about his abilities and whose adopted son he is they'll reject him and come for him and do experiments on him.
It shouldn't be hard enough as Kai keep his dorsal plates in his back as they were retractable and he started wearing a scarf around his neck.
But when it came to interacting with people that was another problem as he would only see people when he and Shaw would go to market to sell the fish they caught but Kai was also picked on by some students from Auradon Prep.
One day Kai was dragged out of Shaw's truck by some of the bullies from Auradon Prep.
"Come on Kai." The ringleader said as he push Kai against a fence as Kai fell to the ground.
"Come on fight back, get up Kai." The ringleader said as he made a punch movement as Kai flinched."Is that it, is that all you got?"
"Come on Kai, Come On!" The ringleader yelled as Kai just looked at him with some anger on his face as he held the metal pole of the fence as then one of the bullies got the ringleader's attention as pointed as Shaw and another fisherman looked at them.
Then the bullies soon started walking away as Shaw walked up to Kai and held his hand out and Kai took it and pulled him up as saw that the pole was bend and almost crushed.
"Did they hurt you?" Shaw asked.
"You know they can't." Kai replied.
"That's not what I meant. Are you alright?" Kai asked.
"I wanted to hit that kid- I wanted to hurt him so bad." Kai said.
"I know you did, I know you did a part of me even wanted you to. But then what? Make you feel any better?" Shaw asked as Kai looked at him.
"You'll just have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be, Kai, Because whoever that man is-good character or bad, he's ... It's gonna change the world." Shaw said as he handed Kai a black fiddler cap.
They soon got in the truck as they took off.
"Hey also I wanted to tell you that your going to school at Auradon Prep today I already packed your things in the truck I mange to pull some strings to get you in." Shaw said as Kai looked at him.
"Are you sure that's a good idea letting the adopted son of the King of the Monsters attending a high school?" Kai asked.
"Hey you need to further your education kid and you need to make some friends because as far as that goes I'm the only human friend you got kid, you need to have somebody watching your back." Shaw said.
Kai just looked out the window looking out at the sea."And besides you might me someone very special and you'll end up having a girlfriend." Shaw tease Kai but he wasn't paying attention.
"No girl would find my existence enticing and besides I already got a lot on my mind." Kai said.
"Who knows maybe there will be a girl who may look past that and you have to go Kai I got to deliver some cargo for a friend of mine and I won't make it back for a couple of days and I also got you to sit up front with the royals during the Coronation so your welcome also heads up Prince Ben signed a proclamation allowing some of the Villains children to live here in Auradon so don't fall under one of their schemes alright?" Shaw told Kai who nodded.
They soon pulled up Kai saw Prince Ben and Princess Audrey along with Fairy Godmother as well the Vks as he looked then over as he sees a boy in red and yellow, another boy in red, black and white and a girl in blue with a blue hair and another girl in a purple, black and green outfit and purple hair.
It was the purple haired girl that got some of Kai's attention as she was beautiful perhaps the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
Mal's Pov
"Hello Foxy, The names Jay." Jay flirted as the girl give an awkward laugh.
Then a pickup truck came up and a boy around our age came out he was dressed in a black tail style jacket with a long sleeve with open hem cuffs a black short sleeve shirt with a brown chest holster and brown belt around his black pants and wearing black high boots.
fiddler cap and a scarf around his neck and he had duffle bag as he was talking to the driver then he came up to us and the others.
"Umm Hello I'm Kai I'm one of the new students attending Auradon Prep." The boy now known as Kai said.
Then the woman butted in "Welcome to Auradon Prep." She greeted us "I'm Fairy Godmother headmistress."
"The Fairy Godmother?" I questioned as I made a wand motion with my hand."As in, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?"
"Bibbidi-bobbidi, you know that." Fairy Godmother answered.
I nodded, "Yeah I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared out of nowhere with that sparkly wand and warm smile and that sparkly wand."
"That was a long time ago and as they say don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future." Fairy Godmother lectures.
"It's so good to finally meet you I'm Ben." The boy in blue said.
"Prince Benjamin." the girl who Jay was flirting with hurriedly corrected him, "Soon to be king."
"You had me at prince." Evie said dreamily "My mother's a queen which makes me a princess."
"The Evil Queen has no royal status here and neither do you." the girl in pink said as Evie glared at her.
"This Audrey." Ben introduced the girl trying to break the tension.
"Princess Audrey, his girlfriend right Benny Boo?" She asked rhetorically.
"Ben and Audrey will be showing you around." The Fairy Godmother states "I'll see you all tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00. As you may have heard I have a little thing about curfews."
Then Fairy Godmother took her leave followed by the band as both Ben and Audrey stare at me and the Vks as we stare right back as Ben smiled.
He then nervously walked over to us. "It is so, so good to finally meet you all." He went to personally greet each of us. As he goes to me as he shook my hand and stared at my face for a moment. "This is a momentous occasion. And one that I hope that will go down in history. " He continues moving down the line shaking each of their hands.
Then he went to Kai for a handshake and shook as he then rub his hand this kid must have a strong grip . "As the day our two people began to heal."
"Or the day you show five people where the bathrooms are." I said.
"A little over the top?" Ben asked
"A little more over the top." I answered.
"Hey your Maleficent's daughter aren't you? You know what I totally don't blame your mom trying to kill my parents Oh my moms Auroa Sleeping--" Audrey said as then I cut her off.
"Beauty yeah I heard the name and I totally don't blame your grandparents for inviting the whole world but my mother to their stupid christening." I replied.
"Water under the bridge?" Audrey asked.
"Totes." I answered as we shared a laugh.
"OK so how about a tour Auradon Prep originally built over three hundred years ago then converted into a high school by my father when he became king." Ben explained as we followed him.
We soon stop at a statue of King Adam then Ben claped his hands as the statue morph to the King's Beast form as Carlos scream in terror as he jumped into Jay's arms and Kai just stare at it with an angry look on his face.
"Carlos, it's okay my father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible." Ben explained.
"Does he shed much?" I asked.
"Yeah mom won't let him on the couch." Ben answered.
We soon walked into the school as Jay drop Carlos as the rest follow Ben into the school then Carlos claped his hands to see if the statue will morph but it didn't as he followed the rest as I saw Kai staring at the statue as he headed into the school with me behind him.
