Coming back to town as a married couple. After eloping was never the vision. I saw for myself. But being back home. Waking up to Brooke. And being able to be with my family every day. As we started to settle into our own routine was exactly the way life was meant to be.
I had been a father for years now Becoming a husband changed everything for me. And I didn't expect that. Lucas thought to himself.
Brooke awoke and went to sleep these days. In a blissful bubble.
This is what she had wanted for so long it still felt too good to be true.
Yet here she was. And nothing made her feel happier or more at peace then her family.
Brooke walked into her store. Relieved there were no customers at the moment.
Which meant she could have a minute to herself. So she went into her office bathroom and took the pregnancy test she had bought.
During their honeymoon. They two couldn't keep their hands off each other.
And truthfully. Condoms and birth control. May of ran out or been forgotten about.
Brooke waited until the timer when off on her cellphone to look down at the pregnancy test.
