December 3, 1988. John's late returning from a hunt, which leaves Dean and Sam without any money or food. Dean's POV as he tries to figure out how to manage on his own.

Dean can't stand by and do nothing while listening to his brother's tortured cries while Sam suffers through his demon blood withdrawal. This is an AU alternative to what actually happened in episode 4:20. Internally tortured Dean, suffering Sam.
