5. Chapter 5 Flight of fancy

(A smokescreen is seen and a great, golden dragon flies out of it, breathing fire before it turns in a barrel roll formation then turns into a man made entirely of gold with one Perfect Sharingan eye, the other a Rinnegan eye and a third eye on his forehead)

WHAT is up guys and girls, girls and guys, this is your boy, King here and I'm dropping upon you all the FIFTH chapter of "Cooper's creed 4 The Assassin's vault"

Also, two more things before we start, this ties into what was mentioned back in "Cooper's creed 2 Brotherhood" the "girl" that built Jasmine's boots and gauntlets and if you're wondering who's gonna take Muggshot's place since Sly killed him three years ago then you're gonna be SHOCKED at what I've got in store for ya

Careful, a bit of foreshadowing there

Also forward warning, there WILL be a lemon at the end of this chapter, which you can skip if you're under 18 years of age

Chapter 5 Flight of fancy

(1 week later) (Sly's P.O.V)

"Guru and Shazza have been slowly adjusting to being in a new environment and being with us but at least Mario and Guru have been getting along, guess being old and wise gets you in a special club, but I was a little but more worried about Bentley, he had been pushing himself to try and find a way into the Assassin's vault with no success, however with Jasmine's suggestion a solution was found, if we wanted into the vault we would need to recruit a DEDICATED RC specialist, an expert who had mechanical and piloting skills FAR exceeding his own and Jasmine had the PERFECT person in mind, the same person who built her gauntlets and boots for her, she told us about a gear-head genius out of Holland named Penelope, Jasmine reached out to her over "Techy chat rooms" online and Bentley was impressed that this Penelope could keep up with him intellectually, however while she sounded promising, she politely declined our offer to join the gang saying that she only works for "the best" apparently her idea of the best was her father, a man that went by the title "Black baron" a BIG TIME dogfighting champion, he's SO GOOD that he founded an international competition called "A.C.E.S" to attract worthy opponent's which included the best of the BEST dogfighters from around the globe but the baron proved to be the undefeated champion, a few days after making contact, she made us a counteroffer, if we could beat the Black baron at his own game then she would know that we weren't just a pack of jokers and therefore worth her time, so we got busy, in no time at all, Aria, Bentley, Murray and Cammy worked on putting a plane together while I got my pilots license the "fastest" way possible, we would PROVE to this Penelope that the Cooper gang was DEAD serious about our offer to her, besides…I've never been one to shy away from a challenge"

(End of P.O.V) (Kinderdijk, Holland, 9:23 PM)

After the team setup shop in a big room in a hotel where not only the A.C.E.S was being held but also the individual contenders would go to in order to relax, feast and drink, speaking of the competition, Sly and Neyla after dressing up like dogfighting pilots exited their room and overlooked the huge crowd of pilots gathered around the place, eating, drinking and gossiping

"Well, isn't this a nice gathering" Neyla said

"Yeah, if we weren't here on business, this would be pretty cool" Sly said, Bentley then contacted them

"Okay you two, if we're gonna succeed in this year's A.C.E.S competition then we're gonna need to know WHO we're flying against" Bentley said

"What, they keep the flight roster a secret" Sly asked

"That's right, in years past competitors would go out at night and SABOTAGE each other's plans in preparation for the dogfights held the next day" Bentley answered

"I get it, so now they keep it a secret and nobody knows KNOW to mess with since they don't know who they're gonna be flying against, right" Neyla asked

"That's right, look, Sly you're a good pilot but we've only got ONE plane and you're gonna be going up against DOZENS of bogeys up there all of them READY to take you out like swatting an incest" Bentley said

"Now, normally I would make a snarky comment about you having "overwhelming faith in me" but…I'll be honest, Bentley, those are some GRIM odds, I mean I'm good but I'm not THAT good" Sly said

"Which means we gotta get you some better odds and you know what THAT means, love" Neyla said

"Oh yeah, good, old fashion sabotage" Sly said

"Right you are, Sly, now the roster is kept secret from the pilots but NOT from the staff who are helping out with the event" Bentley said

"So, what, we bride or intimidate one of them to spill the beans" Sly asked

"Not necessary, we have someone on the inside" Bentley answered

"A mole" Neyla asked

"That's correct" Bentley answered

"Is this person friend or foe, is what I wanna know" Sly said

"That's…debatable" Bentley answered

"Meaning" Sly asked

"Our "friend" Dimitri has been hired to give color commentary during the dogfights, he'll know where the roster is hidden, you two scout him out somewhere in the hotel lobby and talk to him, see if he'll give us some information but be careful, if either of you get into a fight with the other pilots when we'll be kicked out of this year's competition" Bentley said

"That's fine with me, we all play nice and sing songs by the fire until tomorrow then BLOW each other to kingdom come at three hundred feet" Sly said before the two then walked down to the lower hotel lobby where many of the pilots were hanging out and relaxing, soon they came to the bar where Dimitri was at

"What be your pick of poison" Dimitri asked without turning around

"A Bloody Mary for my lovely lady and a vodka on the rocks for me, shaken not stirred" Sly said

"James Bound much, love" Neyla asked with a chuckle

"We all have our role models, don't we babe" Sly asked before Dimitri turned to see Sly and Neyla

"Well, well, well, cracker-box Cooper and sweet kitty Neyla, we cross each other on the same dance floor AGAIN" Dimitri said as he worked on their drinks

"Dimitri, funny seeing your purple tail here, never thought of you as a fly boy" Neyla said

"Like a dance floor with many lights, this funky lizard has many faces and professions, dig, don't even TRY to unravel or understand the silky enigma of Dimitri" Dimitri replied

"Oh, don't worry, I won't…Bentley seems to believe that you have the low down on the A.C.E.S flight lineup, that true" Sly asked

"And why the hell should I talk to a two-bit, rooty-poot, cracker box like you, question mark in bold…WHY" Dimitri asked before Sly thought about it for a second or two

"Look Dimitri, past tensions between us aside, the three of us know that you're going to tell us something, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered showing up in the first place, so you might as well spill the beans" Sly said

"I know…but to talk is like seating on electric chair…the baron has eyes, eyes and ears, EARS AND FISTS, Dimitri will be discovered, and the JIG IS PINCHED" Dimitri said, Sly was right, if he DID talk and was discovered then he would get found out and he would probably roll over on the gang to save himself, so he had to think of something but then Neyla spoke up

"Oh, come on now, Dimitri, a man like you can deal with this Black baron, you've got a better sense of style than him" Neyla said, trying to butter him up

"Le Fashion…STYLE…you…your right, if I can out dress him I can certainly out smart him, all is told through clothes" Dimitri said

"The clothes make the man" Neyla added

"OKAY, I'll talk of flight line-up if you agree to owe Dimitri a favor…which I'll collect in a few months of time" Dimitri said

"A favor" Sly asked

"This no small favor like will you water my fish or feed my plant" Dimitri said

"I think you got that backwards" Sly said

"WHATEVER, bro, this old school mafia, blood-pack favor…like movies, BIG TIME" Dimitri said before he finished preparing their drinks and gave them to Sly and Neyla as they thought about it

"What do you think, love" Sly asked Neyla

"Well, to get in the vault and collect your inheritance, Bentley says it's IMPORTANT to get Penelope on our side" Neyla said

"What if we pay him off" Sly asked

"I don't think he'll take it, money's not gonna get done what needs to be done" Neyla replied, Sly thought about it before he and Neyla turned back to Dimitri

"Well" Dimitri asked

"What does this favor involve" Sly asked

"That's for me to know and for you to be told when I wanna tell you" Dimitri replied

"It doesn't involve Neyla does it" Sly asked

"Chill out cracker-box, I learned that she ain't available the PAINFUL way" Dimitri answered, Sly sighed

"Alright Dimitri, hook us up with the flight roster line up and we'll owe you one" Sly answered

"DONE, HA, HA the bargain she is STRUCK, to find flight line-up look behind one of the tacky paintings in Black baron's air hangar, it's hidden in secret safe" Dimitri answered

"Art decryption lock, huh, I know JUST the lady for the job" Sly said before he and Neyla clanked their glasses together before they drank their drinks

"MMMM, THIS is a good drink" Sly said

"Yeah, you do a lot of bartending, Dimitri" Neyla asked, Dimitri was about to answer before he gasped

"What it is" Sly asked turning around on sheer instinct

"STAND COOL YOU here comes the BIG CHEESE HIMSELF" Dimitri said, the two then looked to see the male mouse known only as the Black baron and with was a young, mouse girl

"Wait a minute is that" Neyla muttered

"Yeah…THAT'S Penelope" Sly said

"Wait…THAT'S who we came to recruit…she doesn't look that much older than Bentley" Neyla said

(Yes, if you were expecting the same as in cannon, think again, I made it so that the Black baron is Penelope's father and is an anthropomorphic mouse, because be honest he looked a little too…human in the cannon, so I changed things up a little, also while many don't like what they did to Penelope in the fourth Sly Cooper game I did like the change with her appearance, particularly the long, untied hair, so here Penelope has the long hair from the fourth game)

Penelope then whistled loudly to get the attention of the pilots

"ATTENTION, EVERYONE…PRESENTING…YOUR HUMBLE HOST…MY FATHER, THE BLACK BARON" Penelope announced as the pilots clapped

"I BID YOU ALL A MOST FLAMBOYANT WELCOME my esteemed comrades of the skies, welcome one…WELCOME ALL to another year of the A.C.E.S competition, we've got teams here from across the globe, Canada, Belgium, Ecuador, Iceland, Korea and many, MANY more, not the least of which is last ears DEADLY runner-up Team Muggshot" Black Baron said, Sly nearly spat out his drink and Neyla nearly choked

*WHAT* Neyla and Sly shouted in their minds

"However, due to the tragic passing of Muggshot three years ago, his spot as the last couple of years, the team leader spot has been taken up once again by his protégée, Miss Trixie" Black Baron announced as he guested towards a very attractive, female sheep (Think of Lanolin the sheep from the "Sonic the hedgehog" comics and you'll get the idea)

"And this time we're gonna drill you jokers full of HOLES" Trixie said, some of the other pilots laughed

"Um…did YOU know that he had a protégée" Neyla asked Sly

"No" Sly answered

"Now, we all know that in years past, SOME teams have engaged in a little…good-natured, late night hi-jinks" Black baron said as the other pilots laughed

"Like when Team Canada stole Ecuador's PARACHUTES" One pilot called, the others laughed

"Or when Team Iceland sawed the landing gear of Korea's planes, HA, HA" Another pilot called as the others laughed

"Or when Portugal put RAT POISON in Team Muggshot's coffee machine" Another pilot spoke up and the others laughed again

"Yes, yes, that was all so VERY funny but, no more…you all know the rules NO ONE, ABSOLUTLY NO ONE is to leave the hotel after sunset, if my guards find ANY of you prowling outside, you will be BEATEN to within an INCH of your life, NO EXCEPTIONS, this WILL BE a fair competition" Black baron said

"Same as last year and year before, I got the scars to prove it" Another pilot spoke up to which the other pilots laughed

"I bid you all an exuberant and exaggerated farewell pilots…tonight sleep like geese…and TOMORROW…SOAR LIKE EAGLES, HIGH, WHAT-WHAT, HA, HA" Black baron said as the pilots laughed and cheered before he and Penelope walked away

"Guys got himself QUITE the vocabulary" Sly said before he and Neyla finished their drinks, Sly then tipped Dimitri with a twenty-dollar bill

"Keep this one for yourself Dimitri" Sly said

"Solid bro" Dimitri said before Bentley contacted Sly and Neyla

"They don't lock the front door to the hotel, this ISN'T a jail, but you both heard the baron, once outside, things will get dangerous" Bentley told them

"We can handle it, come love…let's take a stroll" Sly told Neyla

"In the beautiful Holland night, I'm all for it" Neyla replied before the two made their ways to the front door, after taking off their pilot disguises they exited the hotel

(Outside)

Once outside, Bentley contacted the two

"Okay you two, watch your steps, the baron's got PLENTY of guards out patrolling and it's a LONG way up to his castle on the hill" Bentley called through the earpiece's

"We've got this partner, in the meantime, get THIS…Muggshot's protégée is here to" Sly replied

"WHAT" Sly heard Bentley, Mario and Murray on the other side of the earpiece ask

"Muggshot's protégée is here, a sheep woman that goes by the name, Trixie, see if you can dig up some information about her while me and Neyla work, will ya buddy" Sly asked

"You got it" Bentley replied before the two thieves made their way past the many guards on patrol and made their way up to the castle belonging to the Black baron

"Hmm, not a bad castle" Neyla said

"Don't tell me your castle-hunting" Sly asked Neyla

"With the money we're gonna get from the vault job…if the stories about it are true, then we'll have enough money to buy TEN castles, at least five TIMES bigger than this one" Neyla replied

"Hmm, a good point but" Sly said

"Scared of castles are we" Neyla asked

"Ever since that incident with the Contessa…kind of, yeah" Sly answered

"Oh…right, well, let's get climbing" Neyla replied before they climbed the castle, they soon heard Black baron talking to himself

"The competition start tomorrow, where are all my GUARDS, asleep, watching TV…why BOTHER paying them at all if they insist on lounging around like the common tourist" Black baron muttered before he entered his castle

"It's SO hard to find good, villainous help these days isn't it, babe" Sly asked Neyla

"Absolutely" Neyla answered before they had to cross the large window of the castle where Penelope and her father were

"I tell you dad these guys get better and redder every year" Penelope said

"Indeed, my girl, we've got some real competition on our hands this year" Black baron said

"Are you saying that they're gonna beat us" Penelope asked, the baron launched a little

"My girl, you jest, I'm not saying they're too much for team Black baron, no-no-no-no, we've done a FINE job training out pilots this year, they're in tip top condition, yes-yes, without a doubt the BEST lot we have so far" Black baron said

"You're that confident that we'll win again this year" Penelope asked

"Only because YOU trained them yourself my girl…I know that with you directing them that we are UNBEATABLE" Black baron said

"Thanks daddy" Penelope replied

"This is going to be our FINEST victory yet my dear girl, yes-yes, tomorrow we'll be witness to some LEGENDARY dogfighting" Black baron said

"Provided that the other teams don't try anything funny" Penelope said

"Indeed, my girl, WHEN will they learn" Black baron asked

"Probably never" Penelope replied, soon Sly and Neyla moved on and got to the top the castle

"Is it just me or does the Black baron sound like a good father figure" Neyla asked Sly

"Maybe" Sly answered before the two went inside of the air hangar

(In the air hangar)

Once inside the air hangar which was THICK with security, the two saw two, separate paintings

"If Dimitri's intel is accurate the flight roster should be locked behind ONE of these paintings in here" Sly said

"Then we take both at once, one of them has to contain it" Neyla said before they separated and got to cracking the art locks, looking for the code hidden it the artwork, while they worked, the Black baron's voice came on the intercom

"Attention, attention castle staff, we've got a BIG, BIG day tomorrow in the first round of the ACES competition just twelve hours away, you've all done a SUPERLATIVE job preparing for this event and this year promises to be the BEST dogfighting we've seen YET, HOWEVER…I cannot stress enough that I…MUST…WIN, you've all been hired to achieve victory, if the UNTHINKABLE happens and by some chance that Team Black baron LOSES, I'm going to dismiss the LOT of you, am I making MYSELF clear, leave NOTHING to chance, no outsider is to enter the castle, NO ONE is to go near our planes, if we lose, if I LOSE then I'm going to take it out on ALL OF YOU…ANYHOW, have a pleasant evening and…let's have FUN this year what, what" Black baron spoke over the intercom

"No pressure, right" Neyla asked as she got her safe open and nothing was in it

"Yeah, no kidding" Sly said

"And here I thought he sounded like a great parental figure" Neyla said before Sly got his safe open and found the roster

"WINNER, WINNER CHICKEN AND WAFFLE DINNER" Sly said as he took the roster, the two then exited and went back to the safehouse where after having something for dinner, the group got their rest, ready to get started tomorrow

(The next day)

Day one of the Holland operation came and as the group ate breakfast Bentley put together and plan and laid it down for them where things should start

"Okay, guys, according to the flight roster, we'll be going up against Team Iceland and Team Belgium in tomorrow semi-final round, as you all know we've only got ONE plane and each team will be flying fifteen a piece, which means Sly will be fighting against THIRTY people all alone, in order to give us and Sly better odds, we're going to have to pit these two teams AGAINST each other, first up Neyla and Murray will paddle through the sewer system beneath town to gain access to an air vent where you'll need to steal one of Team Iceland's Viking helmets then head over to Team Belgium's hangar, sabotage one of their plans and PLANT the helmet framing Iceland for the crime, meanwhile Zak and me will work together to steal one of Team Belgium's monogramed handkerchiefs meanwhile the Guru will break into the Team Iceland's supply truck carrying their lucky ice sculpture, Jasmine will STEAL the sculpture then PLANT the handkerchief implicating Team Belgium for the crime, GET IT, we frame both teams so they'll be so angry at each other that they won't even BOTHER trying to take Sly out in the semifinals, meanwhile me and Aria will set up defensive systems around the Cooper team hangar…you never know when one of the enemy teams will want to pay us an unexpected visit and do us harm"

"Say Bentley, did you get any info about Muggshot's supposed protégée" Sly asked Bentley

"Oh, HAVE I" Bentley said

"Um, who's Muggshot" Aria asked

"This was when it was just me, my nephew, Murry and Bentley, my sister, Sly's mother along with my brother in-law was killed in an attack on our home when Sly was only eight years old by a team known as the Fiendish five…Muggshot was ON that team, he was their enforcer, their muscle" Mario explained

"And this woman was his apprentice" T'Challa asked

"According to the information I pulled up she was" Bentley explained

"But how come we didn't run into her when we went to Masa city three years ago" Murray asked, Bentley then looked at her information

"Okay, so apparently as a teenager, she's been training for the pro, women's mixed martial arts career, she used to go by the name of "Hell hound" Trixie" Bentley answered

"WHOA, REALLY" Cammy asked

"SWEET" Zak said

"You two have heard of this person" Helen asked Cammy and Zak

"Only by reputation, my old, family maid was a BIG fan of hers and she would let me watch her…that is undenounced to my parents of course" Cammy explained

"One of my old street buddies was not only a real big fan of her's but he even joked one day he would MARRY the girl, me and him watched a lot of her old fights" Zak explained

"Was she good" Jasmine asked

"Oh, she was good alright, one of the best, she won a total one hundred and nine victories and lost NONE of them" Cammy answered

"That soft-looking girl, SERIOUSLY" Shazza asked

"Hey, don't let her appearance fool you buff-mama, she may look cute, but she was one HELL of a spitfire" Zak added

"Indeed, she was" Bentley added

"That's kind of badass" Neyla said

"That she was, but she was also known for her brutal fighting nature, she was deemed too dangerous to stay in the game, after she was kicked out of the mixed martial arts league" Bentley explained

"And let me guess…she meet Muggshot after she was kicked out" Shazza asked

"RIGHT, she joined Muggshot's ring about a month after the Fiendish five attacked the Homestead and became his most reliable enforcer then his personal protégée" Bentley said

"What was she contributing to Muggshot's gambling empire" Mario asked

"Weapons and utility" Bentley answered

"She does guns" T'Challa asked

"ANY type of firearm you can think of, over the four years she worked with Muggshot she became something of a female John Wick when it came to firearms" Bentley explained

"She has a talent for violence it seems, first with her fists now with guns" Helen said

"You should have seen her in the ring, when she was fighting her rival "Vixen" Sibella" Cammy said

"OH, HELL YEAH, that was a FIGHT, the fight between those two was SO intense people called it a fight between staring WOLVES" Zak explained

"Which is really confusing seeing as how she looks so innocent with her soft fur" Neyla said

"It says here, she left his gang about a year before we got there, but according to the E-mail's the two of them shared from their previous years, they were close" Bentley said

"HOLD ON…do you think she KNOWS what Sly DID to Muggshot" Murray asked

"That might be possible" Mario said

"And that's what worries me" Bentley said

"Well, we'll have to worry about that later, right now we've got a job to do" Sly said before Jasmine was sent out first, once in position, Bentley contacted her

"Alright, Jaz, you see that armored supply truck, it's on route to drop off Team Iceland's lucky ice sculpture for the semifinals tomorrow, I've given the driver some BAD directions, so they should be going in circles for HOURS" Bentley said

"And here I thought guys didn't have the sense to ask for directions" Jasmine replied

"Funny, but to business, we need you to get inside the truck, steal the sculpture and plant evidence implicating Team Belgium" Bentley explained

"So, they won't be focused on Sly and instead be at Belgium's throats if they believe they took their lucky hunk of ice" Jasmine asked

"That's correct, the first step is to steal one of Team Belgium's gold lace monogrammed handkerchief's, Zak will head inside and get one of those stodgy Belgians laughing, they're notoriously stone faced, then I'll move in and steal the handkerchief" Bentley explained

"In the meantime, I better make sure that the Guru is in position to sprint into action when you give me the green light" Jasmine said

"Agreed" Bentley replied

(In the hotel with Zak)

Zak who was in a pilot's disguise was looking at a Belgium pilot at the local bar

"Okay Zak, no pressure but you gotta get a Belgian pilot laughing so hard that Bentley can make the pull for his handkerchief this is serious business pal, they're SERIOUSLY up tight, if they notice being robbed, we'll be kicked out of the competition" Sly called through the earpiece

"Got is boss man, just make sure Bentley is ready to make the pull after I get him laughing" Zak said before he moved

"Hello Belgium flier, do you like comedy" Zak asked, the Belgian didn't answer

"I think it's time for salty pants here to crack a smile, what do you say" Zak asked, the Belgian didn't answer, Zak thought of something

"What was Genghis Khan's favorite meal" Zak asked, no response from the Belgian

"The brains of his enemies, GET IT…I mean it's more weird and gross than funny but…you gotta admit, it's pretty weird" Zak asked, no response, not even a smirk

*UGH, that WAY more gross than funny* Bentley said in his mind, Zak then tried something else

"I can't make heads or tails of this coin, HA, HA, HA, GET IT" Zak asked, nothing

"Don't ya get it, when you flip a coin you either get heads or tails, COME ON that's comic gold" Zak said, nothing

*More like fools gold* Bentley said as he facepalmed himself, Zak then tried something else

"Every see a person put their fist down their throat" Zak asked as he "put his fist down his throat"

"TA-DA…hey, fist…STUCK, I…I NEED HELP, HEY" Zak muttered, playing his prank, the Belgian pilot then started laughing

*FINALLY* Bentley said in his head

"Alright Bentley, you're up, remember to make the pull while the Belgium's laughing or he's SURE to feel you fishing for the handkerchief" Sly told Bentley over the earpiece as he moved in, after Bentley used his fishing rode with a magnet on it or the P.P.P (Pick pocket pull) he got the piece of cloth

"Smooth work Bentley, I'll radio the Guru and tell him to work his magic" Sly called over the earpiece as Bentley moved outside

(Outside with the Guru)

As the Guru got into position, Sly contacted him

"Okay, Guru, Bentley's on the way with the handkerchief but we'll never get at the ice sculpture until we can get inside the armored truck" Sly said

"I would suggest that the back door would be its weak spot, just like the gyrocopter back in Australia" Guru said

"Agreed, the back door should be its weak point" Sly said

"Worry not, I think I can "convince" the guards around here to help me" Guru replied with a chuckle

"Ha, ha, ha, yeah, I'm sure the guards won't mind a BIT that you bash down the back door with their heads, good luck Guru" Sly replied as the Guru got to work and founds some guards to take control over and use them to track down and chase the armored truck, hitting it many times and even though the truck activated it's automatic defensive system, the Guru carefully got around them and managed to bust an entrance to the truck open but it wasn't the backdoor, but the roof

"NICE WORK GURU, the backdoors are still holding tight, but the TOP of the vehicle has been BLOWN WIDE OPEN" Bentley called through the earpiece

(With Jasmine)

Jasmine waited for her turn when Bentley came up to her and handed her the Belgium handkerchief

"Okay Jaz, you're up, but jumping inside through the roof should be easy" Bentley said

"SHOULD be easy you say" Jasmine said

"AT least you can keep up with them easily" Bentley said before he rolled off

"Easy he says" Jasmine muttered before she sprinted fast to catch up with the truck before she managed to get inside

"Okay, let's hope I got enough practice in safecracking from Sly" Jasmine said

"This is it, crack the safe and make the switch Jaz…no pressure though, but I THINK the driver's figured out where to go, you don't have much time" Bentley called through the earpiece

"Not HELPING" Jasmine muttered as she went as fast as she could without messing up, eventually she got in and swapped the sculpture for the handkerchief, she then got out of the truck who was no more than three minutes away from the hotel

"Big-brain, I GOT it" Jasmine said into the earpiece

"GREAT work Jaz, Team Iceland is SURE to blame the Belgian's, they'll be ALL OVER each other in tomorrow's dogfight" Bentley replied before Jasmine got back to the safehouse and it' was Murray's turn, once in position Mario contacted him

"Looks like hard-partying Team Iceland has already gone to sleep, now's the PERFECT time to "borrow" one of their Viking helmets" Mario said

"Then, what do you need me for, why not have Sly pick the lock to the door and steal the thing" Murray asked

"Not that simple, Murray, we're trying to frame Team Iceland for something that haven't done and if the police are called into investigate, they would check EVERYTHING for signs of tampering, if they find that the door to the room was forced then people might believe them innocent" Mario explained

"Oh, I get it Mario, but, um…how are we gonna get inside" Murray asked

"According to Bentley there are sewer tunnels that run under town which connect to the ventilation system of the hotel, I managed to scrounge around for the trip with a rowboat, you and Neyla made your way to the shaft leading to Iceland's hotel room, but be careful down there, teams have caused trouble down there in the past and the baron is SURE to have set up security systems down there" Mario said

"I get to row a BOAT…NAUTICAL" Murray shouted in enthusiasm before he and Neyla went into the sewer system

(In the sewers)

"UGH, another sewer" Neyla said as she and Murray loaded up in the rowboat

"Come on Neyla, it's all part of the plan" Murray said

"I know, I just WISH they wouldn't involve stinky places…besides, I wanna smell GOOD for Sly" Neyla said

"Nothing a bath can't fix" Murray replied

"Easy for you to say" Neyla muttered as they made their way through the secured sewer system before Neyla had to continue on her own, eventually making it to the ventilation shaft

(In Iceland's room)

Neyla entered the hotel room through the ventilation shaft and got a STRONG smell of alcohol and…whatever else she smelt, she had to force herself not to gag

*OH MY…GOD, WHAT HAVE THESE GUYS BEEN DRINKING* Neyla asked in her mind

"Careful not to wake these guys up Neyla, they're a paranoid group and have probably set up some crude burglar alarms" Mario called in the earpiece, Neyla then made her way forward and Mario was right, Iceland set up a house of cards, empty canned food and even ropes tied to said empty cans meanwhile she heard a couple of Iceland members talking outside

"Hey, Lars…you got the keys to the room" One Iceland member asked, sounding drunk

"Yeah, yeah, um…mother…don't you have em" The other Iceland member said sounding even more drunk than the first one

"NO, you're the responsible one here, let's just bang on the door" The first drunken Icelander said

"NO WAY MAN, everyone inside is asleep and I'm not gonna wake em up" The second drunken Icelander said

"FINE…I'll just go down to the front desk and ask for a spare key" The first drunken Icelander said

"A-and as for another bottle of Scotch will ya" The second drunken Icelander said

"I think we've" The first drunken Icelander was about to say before he hiccupped

"Had enough" The first drunken Icelander said

"Oh, COME ON MAN" The second drunken Icelander whined, wanting another drink

"I SAID FORGET IT, just like you can forget me being your wingman tomorrow" The first drunken Icelander replied as Neyla carefully made her way around or over them as she had to hold in some laughter at the drunken talk of the sleeping pilots, she eventually got a Viking helmet before heading back to Murray and the raft

(Back in the sewer)

Neyla got back to Murray and things were a little different than before

"Alright Murray, let's get out of here" Neyla said as she got in the raft

"One little problem, the valve gate has changed position" Murray said as he started rowing

"Well then we gotta escape through the other tunnel" Neyla said

"FEAR NOT…the Murray has an unnatural sense of direction" Murray said, the two got through more heavily secured systems the baron set up over the years but eventually got to the exit

"LAND HO" Murray shouted as they both went to the surface

(Surface)

"WHEW…fresh air at LAST" Neyla said

"Come on it wasn't THAT bad was it" Murray asked as Neyla passed the Viking helmet to Murray

"Let's just say that despite it smelling like whisky and cigarette smoke, I would prefer the smell of the Iceland's hotel room to the sewers ANYDAY…I'm gonna need a nice, hot bath, you good to plant this helmet on the Belgium's plane" Neyla asked

"CAN DO NEYLA, can do with a vengeance" Murray replied

"Solid" Neyla replied before they split up and Murray made his way to the Belgium's hangar

(In the Belgium hangar)

Once inside the hangar, Bentley contacted Murray

"Okay, Murray the Belgium's plane is held up by the anchors holding it in place, DESTROY them and it'll come CRASHING down hard" Bentley said

"I don't know Bentley, these lasers might roast my hulking bulk" Murray replied

"Which is why you'll need to compact yourself, using your ball move to travel safely under the laser grid" Bentley replied

"CHEEK" Murray said before he got to work with his ball form and like Bentley said, he traveled safely under the laser grid before destroying the four anchors that held the plane in place by building up a force around himself while he was in ball form, after the aircraft came CRASHING down, Murray then moved in and planted the Viking helmet

"Great job Murray, the Belgium's are SURE to blame team Iceland for the damages" Bentley said before Murray left the hangar, but he didn't head back to the safehouse instead he went to the Cooper team hangar

(In the Cooper team hangar)

Murray meet up with Bentley and Aria at the Cooper hangar and with them was Mario, Shazza, Helen, Cammy and T'Challa

"Murray, what are you doing here" Mario asked

"I thought I swing by and see how Bentley and Aria were doing, thought I should have swung by some place and get em some food first, I'm HUNGRY" Murray answered

"WAY ahead of ya big guy, catch" Cammy said as she tossed a burger at Murray

"AWESOME" Murray replied before he bit into the big burger

"Well, I've been apart of this gang for a week and so far, no action" Shazza said

"It's not always about action, a lot of times we need deception and smarts" Mario said

"Trust us, Shazza, things will pick up sooner or later" Helen said

"I was raised to fight and hunt, when is it gonna get good" Shazza asked

"Be careful what you wish for Shazza, because you might end up getting it in a not so desirable way" Mario said

"Too late, something has come to my attention that concerns me" Bentley said

"What's that" Murray asked

"Well, while we've been working to get the hangar security systems up and running and they're almost ready, Penelope heard a rumor that a rival air team MIGHT be stopping by to make trouble" Aria said

"Troublemakers…COMING HERE" Murray asked

"Now THATS more like it" Shazza said

"But, like I said the systems are almost ready, if the rest of you could stand guard while me and Bentley finish setting them up, it would be appreciated" Aria said before she and Bentley went to the control room to get to work

"Well, I guess it's just you guys and me" Murray told the others

"It would seem so" Mario said before Cammy pulled out a Nintendo Switch and started playing

"Good think I came prepared, care to play Murray" Cammy asked

"Super smash bro's" Murray asked as Cammy threw one of her Nintendo controller's at Murray

"What else" Cammy answered

"SWEET" Murray said as he and Cammy started playing before T'Challa pulled out a deck of cards

"Anyone up for some poker while we wait" T'Challa asked

"Sounds good to me" Mario said

"Me as well" Helen added

"What's poker" Shazza asked

"Oh, this is a MUST know, come on I'll show you" T'Challa said as they taught Shazza how to play

(Close to an hour later)

Things seemed to be going smoothly as the group did their own thing as they ate the food that was brought earlier, everything was all quiet that was until suddenly the group heard something LOUD, Mario then pulled out his blade

"What in the name of HELL" Mario asked before the large doors to the hangar was opened to show a LARGE flashlight guard who held the door open for Trixie to step in

"HELLO SCUMBAGS…so THIS is the infamous Cooper gang I've heard about…doesn't look like much" Trixie said

"Your trespassing young lady, I would SUGGEST you leave" Mario said

"YEAH, this is OUR space" Murray added

"Neither you nor Mario are in a position to make demands" Trixie said

"You KNOW me" Mario asked

"I was ALWAYS the much smarter one when it comes to being in Muggshot's crew…I know about you, your gang and ESPECIALLY Sly…the guy who KILLED HIM" Trixie said before she spotted T'Challa, Cammy, Helen and Shazza

"I don't remember reading about you in the info I looked up…who are you four, friends of the gang" Trixie asked T'Challa, Cammy and Shazza

"Names Shazza" Shazza answered

"Cammy…big fan of the Hellhound by the way" Cammy said, the others looked at her

"WHAT" Cammy asked

"Helen" Helen answered

"T'Challa, Sly's apprentice" T'Challa answered

"Good…then Sly will KNOW the pain I felt when I take someone close to him also you let me smash up his airplane and we'll be EVEN" Trixie said

"Now we ALL know that ain't happening" T'Challa said as he took out his Katana

"Not a chance" Shazza added as she drew her boomerang

"Yeah, nope" Cammy said as she equipped her Microbot mech suit and drew her Light guns

"Not happening" Helen added as she drew her Desert eagle and combat dagger

"YOU SAID IT" Murray replied

"Actually…I was HOPING that you would say that, ALRIGH BOYS, I paid you enough, CRACK SOME SKULLS AND DESTROY THAT PLANE" Trixie called out as Murray pounded on his chest like a gorilla and let out a guttural roar as Mario, Shazza, Cammy, Helen and T'Challa readied themselves, Trixie had hired a TON of the Baron's off-duty guards for this little job and tried to get past the four Cooper gang members but with the big guys strength, the old raccoon's skill and experience, T'Challa's incredible swordsmanship, Cammy's Microbot firepower, Helen's Sistema and C.Q.C training and Shazza's ferocity, they managed to kick the SHIT out of the guards either knocking them out or killing them, however Trixie was not gonna seat on the sideline and let her guards do her work, she took out a pair of brass knuckles before trying to take on T'Challa but thanks to his speed and agility, he managed to dodge her attacks but she was no slouch, he could see it in her style, she was HIGHLY trained in Slugger and Out-boxer styles of boxing and even some kickboxing, she was REALLY fast with her jabs and T'Challa took notice of this as well and she could take a hit as well, while T'Challa didn't wanna kill her, he managed to cut her several times which he thought would make her back off or at least slow her down but despite these cuts she continued her assault with terrifying tenacity, after a while the Cooper family took on about 50 guards before Trixie nearly ran out of guards, only five remained

"WH-WHAT" Trixie said in shock

"Your next" Shazza said, popping her knuckles

"YOU WANNA PIECE OF THE MURRAY SISTER, BECAUSE I'M STILL ITCHING FOR A FIGHT" Murray shouted

"This is the part where you either give up…or RUN" T'Challa told Trixie as he flicked the blood of the guards off his Katana

"I would suggest run" Helen added

"GRRRRR DAMN YOU" Trixie said as she whipped the blood off her cheek with her hand

"Look lady, I understand wanting to avenge your mentor" Mario tried to say

"YOUR NEPHEW MURDERED THE ONLY MAN WHO EVER MADE ME FEEL LIKE I BELONGED" Trixie yelled

"HE DID THE SAME WITH SLY PARENTS AND MY SISTER" Mario shouted even louder than she shouted, which made her stutter back

"Wh…WHAT" Trixie asked, Mario and Murray were confused before Mario realized something

"No one told you the truth of the matter…have they" Mario asked

"Told me WHAT" Trixie asked

"That your mentor murdered my master's parents" T'Challa said

"And BURNT the place where we grew up to the ground" Murray added, Trixie paused before

"FALL BACK BOYS" Trixie told the large guard holding open the doors as she was about to leave, she turned her head to address the group

"You haven't seen the last of me…this is FAR from over" Trixie said before she left the hangar and the doors shut

"WHEW, I knew Hellhound Trixie was a spitfire but not so angry" Cammy said

"Good riddance" Shazza said

"She's good though, she's been trained EXTREMELY well in boxing and kickboxing, and she can take a hit to" T'Challa said

"Me and Zak TOLD you guys that she was a tough one" Cammy said

"Um, guys, she wasn't making idle threats…mine and Aria's sensors are reading MULTIPLE hostiles moving through the sewers towards our position" Bentley called

"That's not good" Murray said

"GREAT" T'Challa muttered

"Well, if they want their skulls caved in, I'm all for it" Shazza said

"Bentley and me have the defensive systems up and running while you guys were dealing with Trixie and her men" Aria said

"I say we give em a test" Bentley said before the two eggheads got to work on the defensive systems and gave them a quick test

"Well, how are they working" Mario asked

"They're working GREAT" Aria answered

"Good, anything to give us better odds" Cammy said

"And just in time to, GUYS, THEY'RE UPON US, if one or more of them get through our traps then you guys will have to take them out before they get to the plane" Bentley said

"Have no FEAR brainiac chum the Cooper plane is as safe as a baby bird in its airplane hangar crib" Murray replied

"Um…right" Shazza said

"If they get by, we'll take care of em" Helen added as she reloaded her Desert eagle

"HERE THEY COME" Aria called as Trixie's men moved through two sewer systems to get at the Cooper hangar, on one side they had to work with flamethrowers, piston walls to push the guards into the water and a laser barrier and in the other sewer system they had to work with a piston wall that pressed down from the ceiling, small laser trap, a trap door and electrical fence grid to keep guards away and what little guards that DID get through the traps, Murray, T'Challa, Shazza, Cammy, Helen and Mario made quick work of them, after wave after wave of guards, it looked like the assault was over

"Is that the last of them" Mario asked

"WHEW…I think so" Aria answered

"VICTORY BELONGS TO THE COOPER GANG" Murray shouted

"Too bad, I was finally getting warmed up" Shazza said before Bentley got something on his sensors

"Uh-oh" Bentley said

"Uh-oh…UH-OH, WHAT DO YOU MEAN UH-OH" Aria asked

"Bentley, what's the problem" T'Challa asked

"Looks like Trixie had MORE to throw at us that we originally anticipated" Bentley said

"Well, she's gonna need a LOT more than muscle to intimidate US" Murray said

"Well, she's got more than that…she's got TANKS" Bentley said

"TANKS" Aria, T'Challa, Murray and Mario asked at once

"That's…bad" Shazza said

"You just HAD to open your mouth" Cammy told Shazza

"SO, SUE ME, I didn't know that would happen" Shazza replied

"Expect the unexpected, I guess" Helen muttered

"Bentley, how are we gonna deal with fully loaded, heavily armored tanks" T'Challa asked

"Maybe it's time to call in some backup" Bentley said

"Look, no offence but I don't think that even SLY can handle tanks on his own" Shazza said

"I wasn't talking about Sly I just hope she's monitoring the local H.A.M radio frequencies" Bentley said as he made the call

"SHE" Aria, Mario, Shazza, Cammy, Helen and Murray asked

"You mean Penelope" T'Challa asked

"Yep" Bentley answered before he contacted Penelope the same young lady that the gang has come to recruit

"Penelope, can you read me, are you out there" Bentley called

"I read ya, Bentley" Penelope called back

"UM…this is a BIT of an awkward first face to face but" Bentley tried to say

"Well, what is it" Penelope asked

"Our hanger, it's under attack by some of your father's guards" Bentley answered

"HUH, wh-why" Penelope asked

"They've been bought off by one of the teams and they're looking to bring our hanger down and US inside of it" Bentley answered

"Why those TRAITOROUS, SONS OF…UGH" Penelope growled

"Look, I know they're your father's men but" Bentley was about to say

"No need to explain, don't worry I won't let those honorless, double-crossers hurt your team's plane" Penelope replied

"Is your RC chopper operational" Bentley asked

"AFFIRMATIVE, it's already deployed and air-born" Penelope answered

"You're a HELL of a woman, Penelope" Bentley said

"I know, that's what my homepage says" Penelope replied before hanging up, like she said her RC chopper was sent into the frame to help with the remaining goons that Trixie hired to do some damage to the Cooper gang's hangar, Penelope took care of several guards and even TANKS using her Yank-Eighty six built into her RC chopper (How THIS part of the mission makes any sense is BEYOND me, I mean…a little R.C chopper RIPPING THE TURENT OFF A FREAKING TANK…HOW THE HELL!?) after taking care of the guards and tanks, it was ALL CLEAR

"And THAT'S the LAST of em" Penelope said

"We're IN THE CLEAR" Bentley told his friends

"WHEW" Shazza muttered

"ALRIGHT" Murray and Cammy shouted as they high-fived each other

"Talk about a nail-bitter" T'Challa said

"I must say, her skill with those toys are impressive" Helen said

"WELL DONE" Mario added

"WHEW, thank heaven" Aria said

"GREAT JOB PENELOPE, you're the BEST RC pilot I've ever seen" Bentley said

"AW, those thugs deserved it, NO ONE sells out my daddy and walks away Scott free, good luck in the semi-finals" Penelope replied before punching out

"Alright, now that THAT'S out of the way, it's time" Bentley said before he contacted Sly

"Sly, can you read me" Bentley asked

"Ten-four go ahead" Sly answered

"It's time for the semi-finals, get your tail over to the hangar and SUIT up for competition" Bentley told Sly

"Rodger" Sly replied

"In the meantime, prep the plane, you guys, we've got a raccoon to get in the air" Bentley told Aria, Mario, Cammy and Murray as they worked to prep the plane after getting it ready, the Cooper gang gathered to watch their leader take off

"You be CAREFUL up there, nephew" Mario told Sly as he nestled into the pilot seat of the plane

"I will uncle, promise" Sly replied

"Don't promise him, promise ME my handsome raccoon" Neyla said, Sly then kissed her on the lips

"I promise" Sly repeated his words to Mario

"Stay SHARP Sly, Iceland and Belgium will be at each other's throats out there but your STILL outnumbered" Bentley said

"Is that supposed to be confidence boosting" Helen asked

"Don't listen to him boss man YOU GOT THIS" Zak said

"Give em HELL master" T'Challa said

"I'm JUST telling him to watch his six" Bentley said

"Relax MOM, I mean Bentley…THIS IS GONNA BE SICK" Sly said before he took off, the gang then went into their hangar and listened to the battle on the radio

(Flying ground)

Sly arrived at the flying grounds where he faced fifteen members from both Iceland and Belgium and like Bentley thought and planned, they were at each other's THROATS

"EYES IN THE SKIES PEEPS, the semifinal round between Team Iceland, Team Belgium and Team Cooper is now underway, the flags are out, dogfight action-reaction, AR-AR-AR" Dimitri's voice called over the loudspeakers

"Okay nephew, the winner of the round is the last man standing, GO GET EM" Mario told Sly through the earpiece

"Ten-four uncle" Sly replied before he got to work, thanks to his quick learning and reading up on dogfight maneuvers, he managed to take out all the opposing enemies on both Team Iceland and Team Belgium, Sly was a VERY good pilot and came out on top

"YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Sly shouted in victory

"TIP TOP OUTSTANDING…TEAM COOPER IS GOING TO LE FINALS" Dimitri shouted before Sly returned to his hangar, after reuniting with his relieved teammates, uncle, student and lover, they returned to the safehouse and ate dinner before they got some sleep, eager for the next step in the Holland operation

(The next day)

The next day came and Bentley got to work on another plan which he presented to the group over breakfast

"Thanks to Sly's superb flying we are OFFICIALLY in the A.C.E.S finals, our opponent's Team Muggshot and Team Black baron, however the rules in the finals are a BIT different than the semifinals, whoever defeats the reigning, A.C.E.S champion will take home the WHOLE THING, hear that Sly, it's all about taking out the baron in the finals, don't waste time on the others, our only real threat is Muggshot's protégé, Trixie, she's already caused enough trouble to us with her attempted sabotage of our plane and we CAN'T take any chance that she might try something else either before we're ready or taking out the baron before you, luckily I think there's a chance we can remove her from the equation, first Neyla I want you to pick a fight with Trixie and have her meet you in the Town square, meanwhile Sly I've received word that Carmelita is in town and LOOKING for us, you bait her to Town square and given Trixie's criminal past working with Muggshot, when the two meet the SPARKS ARE SURE TO FLY, with some luck Carmelita will arrest Trixie and cart her off to jail, leaving the skies clear for us in the finals, however that leaves ONE more problem, the baron HIMSELF, he commands a HUGE team of fliers and has been known to call in a squad of blimp gunships if things are starting to look grim for him, the solution to our problem isn't obvious…but it IS potent…BEHOLD Lupus Gigantormus, Helen I'll need you to drug the beast in order to make way for the Guru to possess and ride the wolf in order to take out some of the local guards, who also serve as pilots for the baron, obviously the fewer pilots that Sly has to face in the finals the BETTER, next I'll have to hack into the Air craft control tower and with a little bit of luck, I will be able to intercept ANY messages the baron might send to his gunships, if we win this thing, we'll have won MORE than a trophy, Penelope is sure to join our gang after the performance she gave with defending our hangar last night, I'm sure we can ALL agree that she's a prime recruit"

"What's that" Bentley asked

"Neyla picking a fight with Trixie" Sly said

"What, don't think I can handle her" Neyla asked

"Well, she WAS the world's female mixed martial arts champion before she went to work for Muggshot" Sly replied

"Sly, you can't DENY that it's time we dealt with her, otherwise we risk her taking out the baron BEFORE you in the finals" Bentley said

"Not to mention she deserves a little payback for what she tried to do to our hangar" T'Challa said

"True enough, besides, nephew I've heard that the baron has been keeping an eye on her ever since her assault on our hangar and we can't fight her out in the open or we risk being disqualification from the competition" Mario said

"Which is why we need her GONE before she can muck up anything else we plan" Bentley said

"But why her and not me, I want some payback for her sneak attack" Shazza said

"Because Trixie has it out for Sly and Neyla is closer to Sly than any of us are…with the exception of Mario" Bentley answered

"Oh" Shazza muttered

"Love, I appreciate your concern for me, but I'm a big girl, or have you not noticed" Neyla said

"Oh no, believe me I've noticed" Sly said as he looked at her with a hungry eye, making Neyla gasp a little before slapping his shoulder and he chuckled

"Then have a little faith in me meanwhile you better get going and find Carmelita so you can lure her back to the Town square" Neyla said

"And given Trixie's criminal past, she WON'T be able to resist" Bentley said, Sly paused before he answered

"Well…okay, go" Sly said before Neyla kissed his cheek

"Trust me" Neyla said

"Watch yourself ma'am" Cammy told her teacher

"Yes, angry fighters are much more dangerous to deal with" Helen added

"No need to worry you two, I've got this" Neyla replied before she went out into the lobby

(Hotel lobby)

Neyla then went into the hotel where she found Trixie by the bar, she soon joined her

"This seat taken" Neyla asked

"I prefer to drink alone" Trixie answered

"In that case, I'll have myself a beer" Neyla said

"I SAID" Trixie was about to say before she looked at Neyla and recognized her

"Wait a minute…I saw you with Cooper…who are you" Trixie asked

"Neyla's the name" Neyla replied

"I don't give a tit what your name is, just BEAT it" Trixie replied

"What's the matter, something got you pissed" Neyla asked

"Other than being grilled by the baron ever since that "event" in your team's hanger, yeah" Trixie answered

"Well, I've heard of you, what on EARTH made you sign up to work with a penis-brain like Muggshot" Neyla asked, Trixie then turned to face Neyla

"Look here catnip, I don't care if you're on Sly's team or just a slutty bitch he paid to have his arm around or have in his bed for one night, but NOBODY insults him to my FACE" Trixie growled

"Oh, well I believe I just did and for GOOD reason, he deserved what he got for what he did to Sly's parents" Neyla said, she could see Trixie was getting more rattled

"And what the FUCK do you know about that" Trixie asked

"Because he and his gang burnt down the place me and most of the members of our team grew up in, so it's PERSONAL for me to, and I'm looking to settle the score and you know…I heard from Sly that Muggshot BEGGED for mercy like a bitch" Neyla said

"SHUT IT" Trixie growled

"You know, your "mentor" was a murderer, everyone else from Mesa city to Ireland can see it, why can't you" Neyla asked

"I SAID SHUT IT" Trixie said, snarling even more

"Well why don't you MAKE ME or are you gonna run away like the BITCH you are" Neyla asked, Trixie then shot up form her seat, Neyla did the same as they both stared each other down

"You got a BIG mouth on you" Trixie growled

"And you don't have any GUTS…you used to be a respectable fighter, so they had to ban you" Neyla said

"No, they just couldn't take me always winning so they BOOTED me" Trixie replied

"PLEASE, I bet you couldn't even take me on in one on one" Neyla said

"If you would HOLD STILL, I WOULD STRIP THAT COAT OFF OF YOU AND MAKE IT INTO A RUG" Trixie growled

"More like I would take that fluffy cotton of yours and make a coat out of it" Neyla replied

"Look Bentley, I'm all for evening up the odds here but…doesn't this seem a bit…RISKY" Neyla asked

"Is that concern I hear in your voice, ma'am or do you not have too much belief in your student" Helen asked

"I DO have confidence in you, Helen but I'm just not too keen on seeing one of my students mauled to pieces if things backfire" Neyla replied

"Don't worry ma'am, I promise to be careful, what am I doing Bentley" Helen asked Bentley

"Alright, I've taken the liberty of modifying your sleep darts with HEAVY doses of Skunk Balm, it'll be enough to pacify the beast…provided he doesn't catch wind of you first" Bentley replied

"NOT making me feel any better Bentley" Neyla said

"Then I can just snipe him from a distance" Helen said

"Much appreciated, Guru…this won't take long" Helen said before she stalked Lupus Gigantormus and like Bentley said she had to get a few meters behind the giant predator before she took a shot at it, luckily she was nimble and fast enough to make an escape after each successful shot to the wolf, after hitting it four times, the darts were started to have an effect

"YES, Guru it is your turn, the Skunk balm is kicking in, the wolf will be asleep in a manner of minutes, you should have no trouble taking control of it" Helen told Guru who then moved in, towards the sleeping wolf

"I am sorry to take advantage of such a majestic being like you, my friend, but we need your assistance" Guru said before he took control of the wolf and he went to TOWN on the guards that were patrolling around the area, after chasing them down and chomping down on fifteen guards, it was a DONE deal and Guru released the wolf back into the wilds

"Run free once again my friend" Guru told the wolf

"Excellent Guru, that evens the odds against Sly in the finals tomorrow" Helen said into the earpiece before they both got back to the safehouse and Bentley was sent out to do some SERIOUS hacking, once in position Jasmine called

"Okay big-brain, how do you plan on hacking into eh baron's aircraft control tower" Jasmine asked

"It's simple Jaz, the WHOLE system is linked through computer nodes which monitor the power generated by the local windmills" Bentley explained

"REALLY, all the power around here comes from the windmills…talk about not judging a book by its cover" Jasmine said

"Indeed, but the control nodes tell a MUCH different story" Bentley said

"Alright then but how are you gonna get at em, those things are pretty high" Jasmine asked

"Not a problem, me and Aria have been doing some modifications here and there, my turbo chair is now equipped with an extra afterburner…heights such as that are NOTHING to me" Bentley answered

"How many nodes are there around here" Jasmine asked

"A total of four, I'll need to hack them all to get at the goods" Bentley replied

"Okay then, just try not to…you know…fall and go SPLAT" Jasmine said

"DON'T REMIND ME" Bentley muttered before he hung up and went to his first node

"Prepare yourself computer…I will show NO mercy" Bentley said as he hacked into the nod and after getting through the security systems, he got in

"ANOTHER FALLS BEFORE MY DIGITAL KUNG-FU, HI-YAH-CHA-CHA-CHA" Bentley said

"Easy there, Bent Lee, there's still three more" Jasmine called through the earpiece as Bentley then made his way to the second node

"Come grasshopper, kneel before the feet of the master" Bentley said before he started hacking into the node, Bentley eventually got past its firewalls and security systems which included a digital black hole

"Another terminal…TERMINATED" Bentley said before moving to the next node

"Don't worry my pet, I'll make this quick and painless" Bentley said as he hacked into the node, after getting past thicker security measures and even a defense avatar, but he eventually got in

"Excellent, now for the aircraft control tower…once it's hacked, the system, will be MINE" Bentley said before heading to the control tower and crossing a LONG jump using his afterburners to the other side and getting at the last node

"A-HA, my FINAL opponent" Bentley said before he started hacking his final "opponent" after getting into the system and getting past ALL the amped up security along with stronger versions of the defense avatar which included THREE of them, Bentley got control of the whole thing

"Success, I've got TOTAL access" Bentley said

"That's great news big-brain, now we can" Jasmine was about to say over the earpiece before Bentley noticed something

"WAIT…the code's unstable, EVERYTHING'S SPEEDING UP" Bentley said before he saw one of the windmills blades increase speed before FLYING off its hinges before impacting on a small dam and letting water flow freely into a local river

"Bentley, what happened" Jasmine asked

"Hmm…interesting, windmill throwing stars, eh…this little system bug might come in handy" Bentley said

"HUH" Jasmine said

"It's not important right now, as soon as I get back to the safehouse I'll get to work on a plan" Bentley replied before he took off for the safehouse and while the others slept, Bentley put together his final plan for the Holland operation

The last day of the A.C.E.S competition had arrived and Bentley laid down his plan as the group had breakfast

"Thanks to our combined efforts, we're now ready for the final match in the A.C.E.S competition, put on your helmets people because it's time FOR "Operation: Turbo dominant eagle" in just a few hours, Teams Iceland and Belgium will begin to fight it out in the A.C.E.S B-champs round and with them going at each other it'll provide PERFECT cover for the first step of the plan, Neyla your up first, using the new paraglider I made you last night along with some catapults on top of the baron's castle to launch and glide you're way onto each of the four, local gunship blimps and plant some tracking devices on their control computers, meanwhile Murray, use your rowboat to pull down the aircraft communication antenna, with it out of commission, the baron will be forced to use an unscrambled radio frequency to call in for backup when things get sticky for him in the finals, if that happens, I'll be ready with our "secret weapon" and with e tracking devices Neyla installed, I'm guaranteed NOT to miss, in the end though, I'll be all up to Sly and his pilot skills to take home the win, this is a sudden death competition, the team who takes out last year's champion wins the WHOLE THING, that is if the Black baron doesn't take out all the competition first, everyone else will be on standby just in case trouble comes a knocking"

Once the plan was laid out, Sly, Mario, Murray and Bentley made their way to the hangar to prepare the plane while Neyla headed up to the baron's castle and then got to the top of it before Bentley contacted her

"EXCELLENT the B-champs dogfight is beginning, with these guys going at it NOBODY will notice as you slip onto the gunships and plant those tracking devices, I sent out with you" Bentley told Neyla

"Sounds easy enough but…where did you get these things, they're kind-a funky-looking" Neyla sad

"They are the best me and Aria could do on such short notice, I'm afraid" Bentley answered

"Oh well, I'll make it work" Neyla replied

"One thing though, those trackers are sensitive to extreme changes in altitude, you'll have to pull this job off at a high elevation or it's a BUST" Bentley explained

"Got it, you just get Murray into position and make sure that Sly's ready to go when it's time" Neyla replied before she launched herself with the catapult and using the glider Bentley made for her, she got to each of the gunships and installed the tracking devices, she used the fighting planes under her as cover though she was careful not to get hit by any of them as she made her way between each blimp but she got it done

"Great job fly girl with all four trackers in place, the gunship's G.P.S data is flowing in" Bentley said before Neyla jumped off the blimp and glided to the ground and joined her team in the hangar

(With Murray by the river)

Murray was in position with his rowboat, Bentley then contacted him

"Okay Murray, the Black baron's communication antenna is help up by three support beams…if you pull them out of place, the WHOLE thing will come crumbling to the ground" Bentley explained

"Don't you worry Bentley, if there's one thing the Murray is good at its rowing…and breaking stuff" Murray replied before he got in his rowboat and struggled against the flowing stream current and had to dodge the falling planes that were being shot down by either the Belgium's or Iceland, they were dangerous but according to Bentley they were perfect cover for the operation, first one of the support beams was broken, then the second and finally the third

"YES, the Murray has BROEKEN it, let that be a lesson to ALL ANTENNA'S, I WILL NOT BE TRIFLED WITH" Murray shouted before making his way back to the hangar just in time to see Sly off

"You ready nephew" Mario asked

"Born ready, uncle" Sly answered before he got in the plane before Neyla took hold of Sly's face making him look at her

"You win this whole thing, and we'll celebrate with a BIG FEAST" Neyla said

"FEAST" Murray asked

"I intend to win, but…I think I'll need a little luck" Sly said

"I ain't got a lucky charm but, this will do" Neyla replied before she kissed Sly's lips

"AWOOOOOOOO, AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Sly howled like a wolf

"If that doesn't guarantee victory NOTHING will" Cammy whispered to T'Challa who nodded in response with a smile

"THIS IS IT SLY, eye of the tiger pal, LOOK for the Black baron, take him down and this competition is ALL over and GO EASY on the throttle it's been sticking lately" Bentley advised

"STOP WORRYING, I'LL SEE YOU ALL IN THE WINNER CIRCLE" Sly shouted as he took off into the sky

"God, I hope he'll be okay" Neyla said

"He will ma'am, he is a Cooper after all, right" Cammy asked Neyla who chuckled

"Your right" Neyla replied

(Flying ground)

Sly and the rest of the remaining pilots arrived at the flight grounds, and they took off after the baron

"OKAY, it's the BIG TIME, FINAL ROUND…this is what you paid for people, the BEST OF THE BEST, going at it like a pair of starving wolves, the skies are filled with the DANGERRRRRRRRRRRRR" Dimitri sang the last word in a high-pitched note over the loudspeaker, each of the finalists went after the baron but thanks to his experience in flying he was able to outmaneuver and take them out, leaving only him and Sly left in the air, they battled it out like in one of those old World War 2 movies but Sly proved he was just enough to beat the baron

"The baron is on LAST LEGS DUDES AND DUDETTE'S" Dimitri called over the loudspeaker

"DRATS…that raccoon is GOOD" Black baron said to himself before he called in for back up

"GUNSHIPS, close in on my coordinance and DESTROY the Cooper aircraft…send in a spare plane as well" Black baron called into his radio as a large plane was called in and the gunships moved in

"Rodger baron, all unites on route" A voice called back on the radio while they didn't notice on of the windmill's blades speeding up

"Sorry baron but you'll have to fight fair THIS year" Bentley said through the baron's radio before the windmill throwing star was launched

"WHAT…wh-who is this, how did you find this frequency, WHAT, NO, DESIST, HALT I COMMAND IT" Black baron shouted but it was too late, the gunships were all destroyed by the windmill throwing star

"GAH, this plane's come unfixed…high time for an upgrade, I say" Black baron said before he swooped by the new plane that he called in and Sly jumped out of his plane before paragliding over to the baron

"Where do you think YOUR going you weasel" Sly called as he landed on the wing of baron's plane, before he ditched his pilot's disguise showing that he came with his full gear under the pilot's clothing

"WEASLE am I, now" Black baron asked

"Yeah, I've beat you fair and square, your biplane's nothing but a burning pile of scrap" Sly replied

"Hmm, I can't argue with you on that little fact but as you can see, we're BOTH still airborne, now aren't we, the victor has YET to be decided" Black baron replied

"Then" Sly said before he put up his fists ready to fight

"Let's settle this right now" Sly said

"HA, HA, so you wish to fight fist to fist" Black baron asked

"Unless you got a weapon in that overgrown caterpillar under your nose" Sly said

"Oh, I see your tongue is as sharp as a blade boy, VERY WELL if you wish to go through with this then who am I to deny you that request, but BEWARE, I've trained TEN years at fisticuffs, pugilism is my PASSION" Black baron said as he put up his dukes

"And I've been trained in seven martial art styles since I was eight and only practiced MORE since then…if you fight as well as you fly…then this won't take long" Sly replied

"EN GARDE" Black baron shouted before they both went at it hand to hand, Black baron was right, he WAS professionally trained in boxing using a mix of the three types of boxing Swarmer, Out-boxer and Slugger style but of course the baron wasn't about to play fair, when it looked like he was in trouble he would call guards from his plane to aid him to which Sly had to deal with them by either killing them or tossing them off the plane's wing but eventually he cornered the baron after getting in several good hits on the old man before Sly went in and hit Baron with a BIG uppercut which knocked him to the ground

"Ha, Ryu would be proud of that Shoryuken" Sly said as he moved in

"GAAH…a fatal blow" Black baron said as Sly approached, the baron had heard of Sly Cooper and that he's a world-class assassin, he believed he was gonna kill him

"Go ahead…make the final blow…you have earned it" Black baron said but even though he closed his eyes expecting his end…it didn't come

"What…why do you hesitate" Black baron asked

"You know I once came across a guy who I wanted to kill once but then I found out he has a daughter…speaking of which, does your daughter even KNOW that you're cheating in your OWN dogfighting competition" Sly asked

"N-no…she has no knowledge of this but what does that have to do with this" Black baron asked

"Honestly, I didn't want to kill you, other than cheating you've killed no innocent people or extorted anyone, I'm not gonna kill you" Sly said as the Black baron got to his feet

"So, what happens now" Black baron asked

"We can talk about that when we get back on the ground" Sly said

"Yes, I agree…I assume you're going to make me tell my sweet, little girl the truth, do you" Black baron asked

"Afraid so" Sly answered

"Well…come then, let's get on with it by the way, about this other person you wished to kill, why didn't you" Black baron asked

"He took part in the killing of my parent's, and I didn't want to be a parent killer like he is" Sly answered

(Sly's P.O.V)

"When we landed needless to say Penelope was shocked that her dad had been beaten, but it was an even bigger shock that he confessed that he had been cheating without her knowledge, it was a tough pill for her to swallow and she wanted to know why…but before he could answer, we were rushed to the winner's circle, somehow against all odds, we had become this year's A.C.E.S champions, there was a bit of an awkward moment between Bentley and Penelope though…I guess the photo's they sent each other over the internet were a bit…exaggerated, that night as Black baron treated us all to a dinner, he explained that when he was a young boy growing up his father told him stories that Penelope's ancestors were once some of the richest people in the world, but over the hundreds of years they had lost everything, he was inspired to return the family to glory one day, over the years he displayed talent for dogfighting and he turned it into a full-fledged career but to keep up with the ever advancing tech of his competition and further support his young daughter after her mother died in childbirth, he needed to resort to cheating to keep ahead of the competition, but he wanted to keep her out of it and keep her honest, I made him a deal, if he admitted that he was cheating and made right what he had wronged then I would let him live, I have to admit that he was a good father after all, while he might have done wrong, he did it for his child, not for himself, he agreed and our deal was struck, with Penelope now convinced that we weren't just joking around when we said we wanted to recruit her for the Assassin's vault job, we all agreed that her RC skills were second to none even beyond the RC skills of Bentley, with her father's blessing, she joined the gang without hesitation and the baron even offered us a week to stay at his castle and Penelope gave a week-long, aerial tour of Holland…I think she's gonna fit in just fine"

(End of P.O.V) (With the apprentice)

The apprentice back in town contacted his master to report on the advancement of the Cooper family

"What have you to report" The master asked

"Sly and his "family" has recruited another member, one to be Bentley's equal, his team is growing rather formidable" The apprentice answered

"Master…not that I'm questioning your orders but" The apprentice was about to ask

"No need…I say the time to reveal yourself is fast approaching" The master said

"If my calculations are correct, then Bentley SHOULD suggest that they travel to China for their potential next recruit" The master said

"Am I to meet them there" The apprentice asked

"More than that, I want you to assist the local monarch there in any way you can, I will send you further information, oh and…do try to enjoy yourself while in China, my boy, might I suggest even getting yourself something nice while over there" The master said
